Over priced by double for work that wasn't anything special from other companies I've gone through much cheaper before.
Company is made up of salesmen, very greedy and only care about dollar signs.
I have worked in the plumbing field for years behind a desk before moving here, I know where the numbers are suppose to be when it comes to the work/parts for jobs and I promise you, this company is over charging people out here. In my opinion that's why they are driving brand new Mercedes vans.
Didn't argue the price, this is the way they run business, but hoping to spread awareness to others. Don't get roped in by their talk and used by these guys.
The guys did the work fine. But the price is not right. Plenty of other companies that can do the same work for a justifiably reasonable price.
We hired Tucker Hill to come over and update our plug ins, hang some ceiling fans and relocate and replace our electrical box. These guys did great work and were a pleasure to have around. I'll hire them again.
Wonderful technician Daniel Medina. The job was done on time on budget. Great value. I don't have to worry about the water heater for 12 years. Full guarantee and service agreement. They will come flush annually also. Diod rod replacement included also.
Great interaction with office and tech.
It has now been 7 months since a Tucker Hill representative came to give us a 15 minute estimate for some proposed work. The estimate was super high; we went with someone else. SINCE the put our address in their computer system, they have sent us monthly or bi-monthly advertisement mailings. Since the first such mailing and after each such mailing since then, I have called the Front Desk during business hours and asked them to stop the mailings. EACH TIME they claim they will not send any more mailings. However, they have never stopped. We just got the Holiday Mailing. This time I left a live message with their answering service.
I GUESS THEY HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO, OR NO INTENTION TO, REMOVE US FROM THEIR MAILING LIST FOR LIFE. NEVER USE THEM BECAUSE THEY WILL BUG YOU FOREVER.
They did call back and rescheduled. They did the work as requested. 4 stars for following up. I thought the price was high, but I haven't used a certified electrician recently, and I felt the work required a professional.
TH replaced my old breaker box with a new unit. They did not label any of the breakers so now I don't know what breaker goes to what. Everything else was okay.
Jason came to my house today and did an awesome job. I will always use Tucker Hill for my ac needs. If you want to find a reliable and professional company I highly recommend Tucker Hill!
David Belnavis is a skilled technician with excellent follow up and excellent customer skills. He went above and beyond for us to get a new 5 ton AC installed in one day. He was able to redesign some of the duct work to allow the AC to cool more efficiently.
They were timely, informative, friendly, and respectful. Still waiting for some further pricing on service.

Dylan came out to take a look at my concern at no cost! He told me about his previous experience with something like this and gave me an idea of what to expect if they were to further investigate and attempt to fix it. He was very helpful and even answered some other plumbing-related questions I had.
I highly recommend working with Tucker Hill Air Plumbing and Electric after my experience with them! Over the weekend, my mother's home in Chandler flooded. In a panic, I reached out to whoever I could to remediate this matter. Tucker Hill not only got back to me on a Sunday, but also had what seemed like an almost immediate response time. Ian at Tucker Hill was calm, kind, and very thorough explaining this process to me. Ian understood my concern with my elderly mother's home flooding, as I am in a different state and unable to physically be there. As promised, Ian made sure to call and update me each step of the way so that I was involved with the repair of my mother's home. I felt at ease knowing my mother and I were doing business with this company. Reach out to Tucker Hill if you're looking for a team that keeps their word and gets the job done!!

Our a/c went out during the hottest weather they came they replaced in extreme heat and were amazing working under those extreme conditions, they apologized it took so long working in the attic in 152degree temperatures. Thank you Tucker Hill!!
I would not chose this company for electric. They boast about Integrity and Honesty in an article dated April 2023 in Longview Journal and state that their President, Jeremy will answer to any unsatisfactory dealings. I had just that last week when quoted verbally a specific amount at my house. Understanding it would not be the same to a tee, it was written up $900 more (coincidentally was asked if they were the lowest bid first). Was told that prices went up 'that day' when asked why so much more. After talking to the person who came to the house, they were understanding and atleast reduced it down 10%. The COO decided not to honor it and updated the quote up to even more and then took off 10% making it the original amount again. I did not get a call back from COO when I was told by him before he sent me the quote that he would not increase what was agreed to. Well, he did and he also did not return a call until I reported this to the BBB.
TH replaced my old breaker box with a new unit. They did not label any of the breakers so now I don't know what breaker goes to what. Everything else was okay.
The only reason I'm giving them 1 star is because I can't give them zero stars. Them came out and looked over my A/C unit and then said that it will cost $1712.00 to get everything done. I told them hell no and asked a friend who sells A/C units to look mine over. He told me that my unit is worked by just fine and I don't need anything they are asking for. So buyer beware!!!! They suck. They want your money. Stay away from them...
Be careful with these guys! They answer the phone how can I put a smile on your face today then proceed to take advantage of you! I was given an exorbitant verbal quote by Anthony that was so outrageously high I asked to please see it in writing and was promised by Anthony that I would receive in an email the next morning. After three follow ups with Emily addressing this I never received anything. Even Mike the technician said to me Anthony is a wheeler dealer. Not the kind of company that acts like they are trying to put a smile on your face rather a frown. Buyer beware!

I called tucker hill for persisting electrical issues I was facing with my breaker. I was impressed by the customer service and Promptness. John Crowder from Tucker Hill provided exceptional service- he was on time, he fixed the issues at hand in a timely manner, it was electric
He is a great electrician and very knowledgeable about his craft as he meticulously diagnosed and resolved the problem with attention to detail. He also walked me through the possible reasons behind the issue while making it easy for me to understand.
He turned a stressful situation into a seamless and educational experience. His services comes highly recommended for anyone in the Tucker Hill area. Thank you, John, for your outstanding service.

This is a fantastic company. I had electrical panel replaced with Tucker Hill. James kept me updated through the entire permitting process. Very impressed with the communication. I have more repairs to be done and feel comfortable with the work tucker hill provided. They'll be hearing from me soon to help check off my list.
I recently received a postcard mail promo and booked TH to perform a whole house plumbing inspection and water heater replacement. My wife was present for the inspection as I was out of town on the scheduled day.
During the service call, wife was informed that our water heater drain valve was corroded shut and therefore couldn't be drained. She was told that it was overdue for replacement due to its age, as it was made in 2003. So my wife authorized them to provide replacement quotes.
When I returned home, I reviewed the quotes and took a look at the water heater. The plumber misidentified the water heater model, somehow overlooking the sticker on the tank stating that it was built in 2013. 9 years is well within the realm of service life for water heaters, so that was one deduct for competence.
The two quotes I received were for $2200 and $3200, for mid and top tier electric conventional replacements. I work in commercial construction, so I did a little bit of research before calling to discuss the quote with their office. The average install price in AZ for a water heater is in the neighborhood of $1500, and $2000+ is possible for higher end units.
Their quotes were not as detailed as I expected, but there were a few red flags that I picked up on. They included gas piping work that doesn't apply to electric heaters, and one of the main differences in their quote tiers was for replacement of the copper shut off valves - that they would have to replace anyway. My current unit height isn't a standard height anymore, and the shut off valves are within the space that would be occupied by a replacement unit. The salesman tried stating that the premium cost buys me a company with a solid reputation (3 stars on 5 yelp ratings is solid??), and extended warranties on the heater, parts and labor. The labor warranty offer was indeed higher than average, but still is outside of the price range I'm comfortable with. I asked the salesman if they were willing to take a look at their numbers, refine them to align with what I know to be a reasonable price target, and provide an updated proposal to earn our business. He stated that he would, and get back to me in a few days. That was last Tuesday.
I called on Friday, and the receptionist told me the salesman was in a meeting and would call me back. I received no call back, so I called again this morning. I asked the receptionist to simply have the salesman call me and tell me if they were able to find something that would work, or not, so I could pivot to another option. I was told the same thing as Friday, that I would get a call before the end of the day. That hasn't happened, so I'm posting this to hopefully save someone else from wasting their time.
If you want to be gouged on one of the most basic home plumbing repairs that anyone with basic copper piping and household electrical knowledge could DIY in exchange for not having a labor warranty, or be given the runaround by a salesman rather than being shown the basic decency of returning a committed call, Tucker Hill is the plumber for you. If you want to find the best value for your hard earned money, I suggest looking elsewhere. I wish I had seen Jessica's review below before scheduling, it sounds like she had the same takeaway.
By the way - talked to the plumbing subcontractor on my project today. He confirmed that $1,500 - $2,000 is the ballpark I can expect to be in and that he just completed the same size job as mine for that last week.

Joshua was professional, polite, knowledgeable, and had a great personality. He was able to diagnose the electrical issue in under the estimated time savings further costs.
Thank you!
This one's a 2-fer. I own a rental property just outside of Scottsdale and got hit with a double whammy this week. First, my tenant walked into the master and slish-sloshed her way her way right back out because the carpet was soaked! At first we thought it had to be a pipe leak in the wall from the master shower because the leak was around the wall. We called a local guy to come out (not Tucker Hill) and told me it was just because the shower door didn't have a bottom guard and that water was escaping from the shower and running under the wall. (Oooookay.) He didn't even want to open up the wall. So, I called Tucker Hill and they had a guy out there same day. He quickly discovered that it was leak in the hot PEX line from the shower, which we were happy with because we thought for sure it should have been in the slab. They replaced the portion of the line and even though I'm still scrambling to find a contractor to fix the hole in my wall, I'm so glad it wasn't a slab leak.
Fast forward to the next day, I get a call that the AC isn't working. Since Tucker Hill does HVAC too, you guessed who I called. Again, same day and they discovered I had a coil leak and it needed to be replaced. Thankfully they had what they needed in stock and they sent out an install crew the very next day. The AC blows cold again and the tenant is happy.
Being so far away from our property, I'm really thankful for the professionalism we received from Tucker Hill. I'd highly recommend these guys the next time you have a need.

I made an appointment and was given an 8 am - 10 am window. The window comes and goes with no update so I call in. I am told 1) the manager said there was nobody to go to my appointment today so it was cancelled and 2) this was marked down that *I* cancelled, so I got no notification. So yeah, if you like making appointments, taking the time to prepare, and then have them blow you off, this is your company!

I wanted to give Tommy Moreno a positive review. He was very informative and did a great job of explaining things in English and Spanish. He was knowledgeable about the work to be done.

BEWARE. As MANY MANY other reviews mention, Tucker Hill will sign you up for their mailing list JUST for receiving an estimate. You will then repeatedly receive junk mail/advertisements from them. Ultimately, I think this is gross business practice. I do not want your junk mail and did not give you any permission to start mailing me things. I would not have even placed a review if they did not end up sending me junk mail.
On to the job itself, I was quoted $200-$1000 online on my yelp project inquiry and had them come out to finalize the quote. It turned into $1600! No scope change at all, just scummy practice to get their foot in your door. Keep in mind, my project was basically 'handyman' work and required no actual electrical. I was also extremely detailed in my online project description, so coming to visit was entirely unnecessary. Received quotes from $400-$750 from many other vendors.
I obviously ended up not picking Tucker Hill for my project so I can't speak on their work itself, but their general business practices are pretty scummy. I'd avoid even letting them bid on your job.
Larry, our electrician from Tucker Hill, was awesome! He did great work, never choosing the easy way, with results way beyond anything we expected. Found improper 20 amp circuit breaker another electrician had jury-rigged onto 15 amp wiring, saving us possible house fire. Had extensive complicated work including wiring EV charger and upgrading panel from 200 amp to 400 amp working with APS. Saved us $25k in trenching costs by recommending APS pull new bigger cables through existing 2 conduit instead of paying to retrench a 2 1/2 conduit like APS insisted we do. Quality of work was wonderful. Brought down costs for us whenever possible and worked late into the night on multiple days. We love Larry and Tucker Hill!
Water leak in wall. Tucker brought a camera but not a FLIR or moisture meter. Recommend asking whoever comes out to find your leak has all three tools, Tucker would not have known where to look if not for a different restoration company coming out with more tools to find the source.
Tucker replaced a leaking exposed attic PEX-to-copper joint for $500, which ended up being close to 2 hours work.
They did not bring a ladder despite being told ahead of time the leak was in the attic. Luckily I had a ladder they could borrow.
They did quality work for a pretty standard task. Up to you to decide if $250 per man hour is a fair price for plumbing work.
They needed a fair amount of help with tools for an outfit charging bespoke prices.
Last summer, we had a problem getting the house cool, so we called Tucker Hill since my husband knew of them through his company. After a few minutes of inspecting the unit, he says that we need to buy a whole new unit. Our current unit is only about 3 years old and a Trane, so there is absolutely no reason for us to spend thousands to replace it, and he couldn't (wouldn't) tell us exactly what was wrong with the unit, so we declined. He did a Freon recharge and left. The recharge helped somewhat and we mostly survived with fans since we were nearing fall. We just now turned the machine back on to combat the heat and we're having the same issue as before, but way worse. However, now my husband is a certified HVAC technician. He and his mentor looked over the unit and by chance found that a panel that never gets opened was loose. Suspicious, they opened it and inspected the inside. They found a part (the Shrader valve) had been loosened to the point where it caused a Freon leak, eventually causing the compressor to choke. Tucker Hill is the only company that touched our unit without our supervision, so what are the odds that a part most companies don't even check and doesn't loosen on its own ends up breaking our machine after we decline to purchase a new unit?
Needless to say, I am beyond grateful that my husband can now service our own machine so I don't have to rely on companies like Tucker Hill.
I wanted to give Tommy Moreno a positive review. He was very informative and did a great job of explaining things in English and Spanish. He was knowledgeable about the work to be done.
Highly overpriced. I made the mistake of hiring their plumbing services without getting other quotes as they seemed highly rated on Angi. Will not be using their services again
1st time Tuckerhill came out David was the technican, he was professional, and very knowledgeable fixed the problem right away. Very pleased with him and the company. 2nd time we needed a a/c unit and had it installed the very next day. Christian was the installer and he worked his butt off and put in a very long day. Very pleased with him and the crew. Definitely would use this company for any a/c problems we may have.

Horrible, had a slab leak and the shyster came to my home didn't even tell me where the leak was, instead told me to pour a 5 gallon bucket of water on the floor. I told them to leave and a week later they are still hounding me even on Memorial Day. Steer clear of these two companies
Cancelled on me twice!!! Needed an electrical repair. THEY cancelled my appointment the day of and asked me to reschedule. I asked for new times. THEY told me their availability and then I confirmed the time immediately after. The day of the appointment THEY said they didn't have me on the schedule. No way I'll give them my business again.

Had an AC tuneup recently last month and was quoted $3300 of work to be done on a 5 year old unit. Called a second company today who 1. Informed me that the unit was under warranty (I purchased the house 2 years ago), 2. Looked at the bid TH provided me and blatantly told me that the prices I was quoted were absurd ($1900 for a replacement fan-what the absolute kind of buffoonery is that? Girl, bye) and 3. Switched out a part that was failing for free as a result of the unit being under warranty. So I was quoted for work to be done on a unit that was under warranty (and that didn't need to be done). I will stick with the smaller, trustworthy companies that don't work off of commission, and take the time to explain what they're doing. I get it, we all need to make a living if that is the case. But make it honest. They will never step foot in my home again. I encourage you to look elsewhere.

We recently purchased a home which had been sorely neglected for the past decade or more. We contacted several electrical contractors to review our electrical panels and chose Tucker Hill. Dan Herrick and his crew replaced all four of our electrical panels in two days. Dan explained in detail the scope of the job and answered all the questions we had. They labeled all of the breakers and cleaned up any material left from the job. Based on our experience, I would highly recommend Tucker Hill for any electrical work that you need.

Do not Trust this company. They quoted me $1400 for a fan motor on the outside unit, just had another company complete the job for $375. This is an outrageously high estimate and my belief is they wanted to push me into the bigger sale of a new unit.
I have worked with Tucker Hill on several separate projects.
- A 50 lb light fixture installed from an 8 ft ceiling
- installing flush mounted light fixtures on a 9 ft ceilings
- installing sconces over bathroom mirrors
- Replacing several can lights
- Installing a 29 light fixture on a 20 ft ceiling
The level of service that I have received (like at most larger brands like TH) vary depending on the technician/expert/contractor that comes out and does the work.
My most recent experience (the installing of the 29 light) with Brandon Brady has been extremely stellar! In fact, I believe I will request to work with him exclusively from now on (for my home and my business of property management). Nick, who came out to help was pretty good as well.
Brandon was on time, professional, courteous, and (most importantly careful and detail oriented). To share my experience, I had a 29 inch pendant light made of capiz (the inner lining of shells) hung from a 20ft ceiling. He was very careful, not a single shell cracked or flaked. Also, he continually asked if I was comfortable with his installation and adjusted the pendant height multiple times to get it to my ideal height for the entry of our home.
I know Tucker Hill's pricing for electrical work is not as competitive as other contractors in the valley, but for Brandon Brady's care and attentiveness to detail and hard working attitude, the price is worth it.
Brendon did great, and I will definitely be asking for him to visit our sites when we need electrical work.
I have worked with Tucker Hill on several separate projects.
- A 50 lb light fixture installed from an 8 ft ceiling
- installing flush mounted light fixtures on a 9 ft ceilings
- installing sconces over bathroom mirrors
- Replacing several can lights

Do not Trust this company. They quoted me $1400 for a fan motor on the outside unit, just had another company complete the job for $375. This is an outrageously high estimate and my belief is they wanted to push me into the bigger sale of a new unit.
We hired Tucker Hill to come over and update our plug ins, hang some ceiling fans and relocate and replace our electrical box. These guys did great work and were a pleasure to have around. I'll hire them again.

They did call back and rescheduled. They did the work as requested. 4 stars for following up. I thought the price was high, but I haven't used a certified electrician recently, and I felt the work required a professional.

I had two AC systems replaced by Tucker Hill Air, Plumbing, & Electric. Their first job was completed in August. My unit was 23 years old and was not efficient cooling down the house, and was using a lot of energy. So it was time to replace it to a new one. The owner, Jeremy gave me a very competitive price for the entire install job. The team did a fantastic job installing the unit and my energy usage went down noticeably.
My second AC replacement took place in September. This unit was for the upstairs, split system. Although the system was only 7 years old, it was running poorly. It suddenly failed to cool down. As Tucker Hill Air, Plumbing, & Electric technicians inspected and started disassembly of the unit, they noted that the job completed 7 years ago was installed poorly. The technicians took many pictures and photos showed the air duct was not sealed up properly and there was a section of pinched ducting. It was leaking Freon and had poor drainage.
Two technicians worked and completed this upstairs AC unit job. What I found out from these technicians is that Tucker Hill Air, Plumbing, & Electric pays their installer hourly instead of per job (Flat Rate). So there is no incentive for them to finish up the job quickly. Some of the other big similar local shops pay their installer per job and it would incentivize them to finish the installs quickly without paying attention to details. One of the Tucker Hill Air, Plumbing, & Electric technician, Nathan is very experienced and knowledgeable with overall HVAC systems and install procedures. You can tell he pays attention to small details and there are big differences from after photos that the duct and plumbing jobs are done properly.
Tucker Hill Air, Plumbing, & Electric also provide excellent labor warranty which cannot be beat by any other local companies.
I recommend this company for AC system repairs and installation.
