Best A/C Repair in Albuquerque NM
New Mexico Plumbing and Mechanical were very professional, courteous , respectful, and took great care in providing the service without making an extremely hard job really a messy one. I had NM Plumbing & Mechanical install a new refrigerated air conditioning unit, converting from swamp cooling and I couldn't be more pleased with the entire job - from the initial quote for the job, the installation, to recommendations on how the new unit would operate more effectively, to the finished job. Extremely satisfied with the effort made to limit my inconveniences during the whole project.

Hottest stretch of the summer and our Air Conditioner starts making weirder noises than usual. We called around and people were booking 2-3 weeks out. We just happened to get a flyer from our realtor that day, one that recommended a few service people, including Sky Swanson. We called. He answered. He showed up THAT DAY to check out the system.
Sky addressed the immediate issue, creating temporary solutions that kept us going until we could make a decision about:
- replacing the AC unit (for which the coolant was no longer made, so that was kind of a no brainer)
- replacing the ductwork with larger-diameter ducts to accommodate the parts of the house that had been added before we moved in 26 years ago
- replacing the entire furnace which was already 17 years old and kind of hacked together and not especially efficient
We got bids for all 3 options and ended up with one of those as-long-as projects, the short version of which is that we have a brand new heating and AC system. Beautiful work, MUCH more efficient, and we can barely hear the new AC unit, even when we're outside sitting near it.
I can't praise Sky's work, problem-solving skills, and can-do attitude enough. Super nice guy, creatively and technically accomplished, neat and considerate, and totally committed to us being happy with his work. It's been several weeks and everything's been working brilliantly.

I had an ancient boiler for baseboard heat & domestic hot water heater. Both at least 27 years old, really!
Before catastrophic failure, I requested 4 bids from HVAC plumbers. Of the four , 3 submitted bids; 1 suspiciously low & 1 really high & one in the expected range. Only Baker Plumbing sent the actual plumber to do the bid. That is Steven Baker himself. He arrived at the time agreed upon, asked the right questions & got an itemized bid back in 1 day. Work started on time and finished when anticipated. He came in on target with no overcharges. He explained fully & helped getting tech info for custom settings.
Steven Baker plumbing is highly recommended.

Excellent service all the way around. I have used all aspects of their business and been impressed each time with their professionalism (sewer line camera evaluation; AC evaluation and repair; running propane line to kitchen stove; well water storage tank upgrade). Highly recommended!!

Would give 0 stars if I could. Absolutely no class or professionalism. Booked an appointment for an A/C service after ours went out. It is crazy hot outside, and this is clearly urgent. Called around and Bosque said the earliest they could schedule was a couple days out, but gave me a date and a time window. I guess I should have had a lawyer present, or a notarized copy of that appointment, because day of service rolls around and... I don't have an appointment? I stopped calling around because I didn't have an appointment. I arranged my schedule around this appointment, because I didn't have an appointment. I turned down an earlier, but more expensive, after-hours service because I didn't have an appointment. If you're wrong, just say that, I'm an understanding person. What I'm not understanding of is being told that we didn't have an agreement when we did. Manager said there was nothing to be done. Yeah, ok. Hard to deal with companies like this that have no dignity.

Main line plugged, whole house on quarantine and they came out and fixed it next day. Easy no judgment and pricing was great! Will definitely use again since my kids love flushing anything but toilet paper.

I have used several plumbers over the past 30 years and Simmons is the best! Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable and always give you options. They are honest and dependable. They have never let me down. And check this out-when other plumbers run into old houses and cannot handle the job-THEY call Simmons too.

Had a great experience with this business. I received a note from the city that I had a leak, so I reached out to Caitco via their online scheduler, and within and hour I had an appointment for the next morning.
They came out right on time and found the source of the leak, advised me to get a new fixture for the tub and they'd come back and install it.
They did not charge for the initial visit and the cost of the visit to repair the issue was less than $500, significantly less than I expected.
The plumbers who came were polite and despite having to enlarge the space and cut in to the wall, he cleaned everything up so well you couldn't tell he was even there.
Fair prices, quality work and easy to schedule.

Called them to take a look at an HVAC leak in my rental house in Albuquerque on 8/27/18. We set the appointment for 10-noon for them to come on 8/28/18. I received an email confirmation that they were coming and that they would call my property manager before they came. I received a call a 8:30am that they were 20 minutes away. I told them the instructions were to call my property manager as I was in California. They agreed. It is now 2 days later and according to my property manager, they never showed up. No call to me or our property manager. I called them on 8/29/18 to ask what had happened. The girl on the phone said she would check into it and call me back. No call back and it is going on another day. Can't rate you any higher if you don't show up or let me know what is going on. I have moved onto another 5 Star business.

Just had my hot water heater replaced by these guys. They called me first thing in the morning in response to the message I had left the previous evening. They gave me a quote that was exactly what it cost. The plumbers who arrived were polite and completed the task quickly and efficiently. My previous plumber recently retired after 45 years of business and recommended this company. Glad he did!

Ruben was SUPPOSED to repipe my entire home. Living in Rio rancho the Home originally had polybutylene. Ruben decided it would be a good idea to leave 5' of polybutylene on the main line coming from the water meter with no reason other than I do it all the time. This resulted in a $300 water bill and a $250 emergency call bill from TLC. After going back and forth for nearly a month, Ruben finally came to repair his shoddy work while leaving trash and old pipe all over my front yard. Between the yelling at me because of his wrongdoing and lack of quality work, this guy is probably the most unprofessional tradesman I have come along in my career as a tradesmen. 10/10 DO NOT recommend Ruben

Was overcharged for a simple tankless water heater flush. Two men sent for a one person job, one who didn't do any work other than translating for the one who did all the work. Nice enough fellows but poorly equipped. Drain hose was connected without a washer and ended up spraying water all over mechanical room/garage. Call someone else.

We had a leak under our bathroom sink over the weekend. We reached out to day & night and they were able to get someone out on Tuesday. The estimated timeframe was between 3 and 5. I got a call around 11 that the plumber was ahead of schedule and they asked if he could come early. I was already excited about that. Nothing is better than someone being able to come early lol. Well once Antonio got here, he got straight to work. He fixed the leak in a matter of minutes. The cost was less than I imagined it would be. I will absolutely call Day & Night the next time I need a plumber. Thank you!

Eric is a class act. This owner operator not only showed up on time but did a fantastic professional job. He's honest, courteous, and goes out of his way to do a great job. He may not pay for the yelp reviews so this one is on the house, great job and a great guy, highly recommend and I don't do that often.

Horrible work and horrible ethics. Oscar Lira did not finish the work agreed upon after he was paid 90% of the amount. He did a horrible job on the work that was started and stole from my property. Going through the legal process to make sure that he's not able to do this again to anyone else. Has several complains with the better business bureau.
