Established in 2020.
Swanson Air Conditioning, Heating & Plumbing of NM is owned family business. We have serviced the State of NM for the past 16yrs, providing honest and fair services for our community. Our mission is to provide honest and professional plumbing, heating and cooling services; addressing what can be maintained and what should be replaced. As a company, we find that it is better service for our customers to offer repairs and replacements of broken or deteriorated systems, rather than offering Band-Aids for a larger issue. We care about our customers and community, knowing that our purpose is to serve them.

ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER

Sky was born here in New Mexico, growing up both in town and on a farm. Growing up on a farm, he learned how to install water wells and was involved in building trade at an early age. Sky went to school for Architecture and Engineering at UNM and answered phones for a plumbing company while he was attending classes. He quickly saw the opportunity within the trades to provide for himself and changed his career path towards the trades. Sky has been working in the trades for the last 19 yrs and is a licensed contractor here in New Mexico and the state of Texas. He holds licenses for plumbing, gas, heating, air conditioning, and process piping along with a list of certifications that allow him to service all of the aspects of your home or business.

Great service. Sky came immediately to my office complex to help fix a leak on a hot water heater. The issue was fixed and my tenants were back to doing business in no time. Kindest most trust worthy person to do business with.

Hottest stretch of the summer and our Air Conditioner starts making weirder noises than usual. We called around and people were booking 2-3 weeks out. We just happened to get a flyer from our realtor that day, one that recommended a few service people, including Sky Swanson. We called. He answered. He showed up THAT DAY to check out the system.
Sky addressed the immediate issue, creating temporary solutions that kept us going until we could make a decision about:
- replacing the AC unit (for which the coolant was no longer made, so that was kind of a no brainer)
- replacing the ductwork with larger-diameter ducts to accommodate the parts of the house that had been added before we moved in 26 years ago
- replacing the entire furnace which was already 17 years old and kind of hacked together and not especially efficient
We got bids for all 3 options and ended up with one of those as-long-as projects, the short version of which is that we have a brand new heating and AC system. Beautiful work, MUCH more efficient, and we can barely hear the new AC unit, even when we're outside sitting near it.
I can't praise Sky's work, problem-solving skills, and can-do attitude enough. Super nice guy, creatively and technically accomplished, neat and considerate, and totally committed to us being happy with his work. It's been several weeks and everything's been working brilliantly.
