I called Big Blue Plumbing to install a new water heater. They got some details over the phone about my current setup which saved the hassle and expense of someone coming out to take a look. The next day Randy came by with an assistant and they did a really excellent job taking just a few hours.

I really appreciated his attention to detail: he identified a major issue with the exhaust pipe and connected chimney, found a micro gas leak in some existing pipework at the end of the install which would usually have been missed, made sure to bleed the air from my oven before he left, used proper concrete to install the new exhaust and cleaned up perfectly after he left.  

My experiences with Big Blue make it clear that they pay attention to hire excellent people and I've never had a bad experience with them.

Angel was great. We had a steam pipe that sprung a leak very shortly after we moved into our new home. Angel took the time to explain our system to us and the cause of our problem.  He was able to come give us an estimate after work, and then when the problem got worse he came and took care of it on a Sunday in a short order.  They even cleaned up the mess from the leak that happened before they got involved. Very pleased.

Absolutely, hands down the best plumber and one of the best contractors I have ever worked with. Jodie, office manager, is on top of everything.  Every phone call is returned promptly.  I manage a large museum-lots of plumbing-and Consolidated Plumbing has been a pleasure to work with.  And I've been working with them for years.  Never a disappointment.  Can't say enough nice things about this company.

We recently hired Andrew to do some work on our new house, and we look forward to working with him again. He and Nick did an great job at a reasonable price, and were friendly and communicative throughout.

Frank called me back the same day for a relatively small job, a disposal installation. He arrived on time the next day, and his pricing was simple and transparent. On arrival, he immediately had concerns: the cabinet was an awkward space with a low sink, and little room to maneuver. Frank explained the possible complications, and came up with a plan for arranging the plumbing. After a run to the local plumbing supply house for parts, he managed to get everything squeezed in perfectly. I would definitely call him again.

Our heat was out. I called the office at 10:15am.  It is now 12:40pm and my heat is fixed!! Staff was polite and friendly. I couldn't be happier.

Mike did all of our plumbing for a bathroom renovation, and all of the work to install a new heating system.  I would highly recommend him.

When a pipe burst in our condo over the weekend and flooded the living room, we realized we didn't have the right kind of insurance and needed help to clean up and repair things on our own. Casper Plumbing was quick to respond and repair the burst pipe at a reasonable price. Would definitely hire again and recommend them to anyone in the area!

Decided to get proactive with our 20 year old American Standard furnace. Selected Main Stream Mechanical to do the install and couldn't be happier. Technicians were very knowledgeable and professional. Very well run company with great communication. Couldn't be happier.

We had a shower that would only stay hot for 2 min. as well as leak when turned off. We call T. Flow on a holiday and they showed up an hour later :) Bonus! They took a look over the problem and let us know we needed 2 new water heaters and a mixing valve for the leak. They worked a full day to install water heaters and my son was able to take a hot tubby that same night. They worked hard, communicated well and cleaned up their mess when done. All the praise for Renato and his crew!  Asked for a quote yesterday and he responded very promptly and was very responsive during the whole process.  We discussed the repair/replacement I needed and he was right on time (actually a little early!).  The guys worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up after themselves.  Price was very fair.  I will be reaching out for Bushi Plumbing next time I have any plumbing needs!

Update to original post.  Seems there was a big mixup. Owner called me to apologize within 5 min of me posting review. The weekend, central  call center did not tell anyone this was an emergency so they treated and routed it as normal scheduling. I still have not used their services but can say the owner was genuinely concerned and wanted to make up for the miscommunication (and not even his fault). I would absolutely call them again for any plumbing work.  
Sunday afternoon and our main drain clogged. Needed emergency service. Website said the same- 24/7 emergency services. Quick response initially, then a few texted questions. I assumed they were trying to find someone who could do the work. Four hours later they texted back to say they could come Thursday. It is Sunday.

Bill did an exemplary job. He is extremely responsive, knowledgable, and a pleasure to work with. His customer service is second to none. He took excellent care of our furnace and addressed all of our concerns. I look forward to hiring him again in the future.

I wanted to get my house trap removed to stop any more backups in my house. Rapid Flow was great from start to finish. They gave me a very fair price compared to other companies and scheduled the removal quickly before I had any more issues. Randy & Brandon got the job done in one day and were great to work with!

Two things I dont like to mess with myself - water and electricity, one small mistake can lead to a much bigger one down the line. So when my kitchen faucet hit the end of its lifespan and started leaking I called Clark Plumbing. They were super quick to respond and set me up with an appointment and sent Scott my way to replace it. Scott was super friendly, professional, and helpful. Not only did he replace my faucet but also fixed quite a few things under the sink that needed maintenance and probably havent been touched in the last decade. He also went out of his way to give me some general maintenance tips and preventative measures I could take. Would recommend these guys in a heartbeat and will be calling them again if needed (but hopefully not for a long time)!

I had a clog in my sink and wasn't from the area so I needed to get someone out here fast. I took to Yelp project and one of the options was MacCo Services and boy am I lucky it was them. They responded quickly, were able to get someone out to meet me really quick and they did an awesome job. The sink was cleared and I haven't had an issue since.

Couldn't have asked for better service and or better value! Saved me both time and money.

Ever since Baker-Elman Plumbing joined with Accurate Heating (they are now called Accurate Baker Elman) they have devolved enough to lose me as a customer. When my dishwasher started leaking I called them to find out how much it would cost to look at. I was quoted $175. The plumber came, looked under the dishwasher and also looked up at the pipes from the basement. Total time spend was about 15 minutes. He told me we needed to replace the dishwasher. Fair enough. Then he asked for payment of $275! I told him I was quoted $175. He said he couldn't leave without getting paid $275, and that the extra $100 was for driving to my house--which is in the middle of Newton! The very reason I originally got a quote in advance was to avoid hidden charges. He said he understood why I was unhappy, but that I should complain to the office -- his job was to collect that payment. I complained to the office, and they eventually agreed to reimburse the unexpected (and unwarranted) $100 charge after I told them that I would write a bad review about my experience if they didn't. I'm still waiting for that reimbursement several months later. Hence this review.

To be fair, I had used Bolivar plumbing in the past and was very satisfied with the service.  Recently, I called on Bolivar plumbing to give me an estimate on installing new plumbing hook ups for a washing machine.  Ron Bolivar came out to check out the job.  After he decided what needed to be done, he said he would get back to us with an estimate. A week or so past and I hadn't heard anything so I gave a call to check on  the estimate .  I have never heard back from Bolivar plumbing.  Maybe the job was to small? I don't know.  A little courtesy would have saved me some time.  I won't use Bolivar Plumbing again.

Well, just wrapped up a few days of horror. Had asked Crescent plumbing to come in and install a bathtub Moen valve. The plumber nicked a pipe and water leaked onto the kitchen ceiling. This was right after my wife asked him whether she should shut off the water main and he said that he would do it later. Anyway, my wife/I stepped out for lunch and came back home to find that part of the kitchen ceiling had collapsed and there was a big hole. Called them up once and he recommended that I make an Insurance claim. But after getting estimates to fix it and making a claim found out that the deductible is high and there is no point in making a claim. So called up Crescent again. The person who handled the phone actually yelled at me and claimed that I was lying. And to top it, he actually slammed the phone in the middle of a sentence. That is terrible customer service!
