Best Garbage Disposal Installation in Boston MA
Big Blue is great! They show up on time, do a great job and clean up when they're done! They have also taken care of jobs for us that other plumbers have turned down because of the high level of difficulty. I will never use another plumber.

Angel has helped us on multiple occasions now. He returns calls promptly and has been able to make time in his schedule to come very quickly. Our sewer pump broke and he went to Worcester (we live in Boston) to pick one up and came first thing the next morning (on a Saturday) to install it. He's a nice guy and a straight shooter. Definitely the only plumber I'll ever use!

Absolutely, hands down the best plumber and one of the best contractors I have ever worked with. Jodie, office manager, is on top of everything. Every phone call is returned promptly. I manage a large museum-lots of plumbing-and Consolidated Plumbing has been a pleasure to work with. And I've been working with them for years. Never a disappointment. Can't say enough nice things about this company.

We've hired Andrew twice now, once to fix a clogged drain and once to replace a kitchen faucet. In both cases, he arrived within hours (he even got here an hour earlier than expected once... when does THAT ever happen?), did the work quickly, was very friendly, charged a fair price, and -- most importantly -- his repairs are holding up great. We highly recommend him and will definitely hire him again if and when the need arises!

Frank has done an excellent job in my house. My water heater started a bad leak. I called several places, he was the only one who responded right away (no answering service). He was in my house in 15 minutes to check out the situation. The job was completed neatly and professionally, in about three hours (including a warehouse run). The price was more then fair, right down the middle of the already low estimated range. I would call him again in a heartbeat.

Our heat was out. I called the office at 10:15am. It is now 12:40pm and my heat is fixed!! Staff was polite and friendly. I couldn't be happier.

Mike has a very charming personality that wins you over, he leaves making you think - wow what a nice and honest man but then you realize that is all a facade. I asked him to come over to look at some corroded pipes. he said nothing was leaking so there was no problem. I told him our disposal wasnt working and that I wasnt sure if I needed to fix it since I dont use it, he said Oh its easy I said Ok.... He never told me Oh its easy, it will cost you $160 because I spent 1 minute of my time.
I have never interacted with a person who deceived me like this. He should have been upfront about the cost - and then I would not think this way. I dont trust him in my home and would advise you not to trust him in yours.

I had Casper out to install a tankless water heater. I could barely get them to give me an itemized quote before they arrived. After installation, it took 2 weeks and badgering phone calls/texts to get them to send me a proper invoice I could submit to Mass Saves for my rebate. They did a good job, installed as promised, and did as I asked. However I won't work with them again because of how big of a headache it is just to get a proper quote, nevermind an invoice.

we had an oil burner service company for 20 years and the owner retired a few years ago. we thought we would never find that level of service again. we decided to convert to natural gas, and we used mainstream mechanical. we also installed a whole house generator. these guys do great work, are professional, and know their stuff! we are always assured that no matter what time of the year, day or night, if we have a problem they are there! we highly recommend mainstream. I have used T-Flow in the past because they have excellent service and seem reasonable, so called them again when the gas company told me I had a small leak in a gas pipe and it needed to be replaced. When the snow storm made them unable to come on Monday, I got a phone call on Sunday to let me know. When Henry & his partner were on their way and knew they'd be late because of traffic they called to let me know. So great customer communication! When they arrived, they replaced the gas pipe pretty quickly, explained where they were each step of the way, and reviewed the bill with me at the end. I feel completely confident that the gas leak pipe was replaced correctly and Henry's partner took time to double check that the stove was working properly too. Another great experience using T-Flow! Thanks, T-Flow!

My experience with Bushi plumbing has been incredibly good.. Special thanks to Renato who came to see my water leakage issue within 12 hours.. Just one phone call, he asked my husband what's the issue and analyzed that it sounds urgent and scheduled a time to visit.. When he came he didn't jump directly to conclusion but ruled out all the possibilities and finally came up with the actual problem.. He left when he was sure that the problem is completely solved.. I am very very happy with his service.. I will always call him whenever I'll have any future issues and will recommend him to all my family and friends.

The company was very efficient and helpful. They sent one of their plumbers to my place the same day. Mark R the plumber was great and knowledgeable and he took care of the wax ring in the toilet. I no longer smell the foul mold and other disgusting odors. It was expensive but worth every penny. I have other plumbing projects and would definitely call them again.

I have never in my life met a team so passionate at their job. We needed a water heater replaced in our house as well as some other areas issues looked at/fixed. Once we called Landmark we were completely taken care of. We were met at the house and provided options that ranged in prices (with no upset pressure), they educated us on current requirements for venting (3 duct to a now required 4 duct), as well as provided us some good insights into how the water system works in general. Clearly knowledgeable. The quote they provided was never exceeded and we were provided options when looking at water heaters. We chose the one we wanted and before you knew it the team was at the house, early on a beautiful Saturday morning ready and eager to get to work. The work was done beautifully. Not only did we have a new water heater installed (which looks darn good I must say), they installed the new venting ducts as well as shored up ALL the pipes in the basement (something they certainly did not need to do): insulated this one, clamped down that one, checked the water pressure here and removed excess pipes there. A dream team.
Quoting and invoicing is done through FreshBooks which makes the entire transaction paperless and easy. Pricing was unbelievably fair for the work done.
These guys have not only earned our trust, but have earned lifelong customers as well as references.

This company needs to be your first and only choice to get the main drain cleared out. Had lots of roots per video inspection. Peter worked very hard to clear the main drain. He withdrew about eight pounds of roots. A dozen worms were in the pile. Final video showed the drain perfectly clear. Also, he was the first person to ever tell me were the main drain location is in the yard. Been here since 1995.
Thank you Rapid Flow!!!!

There was leakage around my garage disposal- I looked up Yelp and spoke to a couple of plumbing companies in the evening. Bill from Clark Plumbing was extremely helpful and gave me good advise. He gave me an appointment for the very next morning and promptly at 9 am Scott arrived and replaced my garbage disposal within an hour. Scott also looked at a leakage in my bathroom and gave me advice.
Scott was extremely friendly and professional. He did an excellent job.
The charges were very reasonable and the work is excellent! They seem like a very ethical team who are not prolonging a job just to bill clients more money. Infact, Scott did the work under an hour and also gave me useful tips on maintenance!
I very highly recommend them!

I had a flood from my AC unit. MacCO had serviced my unit for several years and then found out they did not actually service my unit- which resulted in permanent damage and a cracked drain pan. The flood seeped through my wall and into the hall and damaged my hardwood floors. When I called them, they were rude and unpleasant. Probably because I am a female. When I asked the person they sent out, what should I do, the reply was not my problem, they were not help at all. I had two other companies look at my unit, they both said same thing. When MacCo replaced the coil, the person just dropped it in, never secured it, which resulted in the drain pan cracking and the resulting flood. I have since spoken with other people in my building, they all say the same things - MacCo service people are rude and do not care and take advantage of people who do not understand their AC systems.

We called Baker-Elman to help solve our problem--- our shower in the master bedroom could not maintain hot water despite the house being equipped with two large water tanks. The 1st person that came spent some time, changed some parts he thought was responsible only to then remove these parts because he was wrong. He then called on someone more experienced who came by. After 3 different people coming out, no one could sort out the problem but mentioned that the recirculating line was connected in a funny way. Perhaps this was the problem but they needed to think about it. The left, problem not fixed, and sent us a fairly large bill. At that time, we had a bill but no thoughts and needed a solution. They came and spent more time finally to say that they would turn off the recirculating line which would cost us water but may help with the problem. Add another bill and still no working solution. At that time, they said that it may help to add a pump to the recirculator. They quoted us a large price for that work (in addition to the money they were already charging us) while noting that they were not sure they knew if this would solve the problem.
We called a different plumber. In contrast, the plumber was upfront with costs. Said they would charge $160 for diagnostics and not waste our money if they did not know what the problem could be. We did not provide the new plumber with information from the previous plumber. Within one visit and one person, they felt that it was in fact the recirculating line and that placing a pump would solve the problem. They gave us an estimate that was much much less than Baker-Elman quoted. They came, did the work, and we now have great hot water.
Baker-Elman essentially charged us nearly the same amount that the ENTIRE work cost us with the other plumber but all they did was scratch their chins. We sent them a note and tried to negotiate a lower payment given that we ended up with absolutely nothing at the end of their work. They responded that we gave away the solution and we mentioned that we absolutely had not. Without further discussion with us and despite our paying them a significant amount already, they filed a complaint in small claims court for the extra few hundred dollars we had asked them to lower their bill for. We basically paid twice for the work--- once with a group that had no idea what they were doing and did nothing and the second time for the actual solution which was quick and efficient.
The 2nd group was much more professional and upfront about costs. Baker-Elman was not. We weren't asking them for charity but we were asking them to be fair given that they should have been up front with costs and that the work was beyond their scope (i.e. know when it is time to give up).

I called the plumber in the morning and left a message in order to have the toilet replaced. He called me back within 2 hours and send a plumber within 15 minutes. I paid $250, all inclusive even a water line. Before this installation, I was waiting to have a plumber whom Lowe's was supposed to send install the toilet for more than 10 days. I even paid $200 plus fee for permit but nothing was done. This plumbing company is my savior!

Two years ago my water heater was leaking. Their sticker was on my water heater, so i called Crescent. The plumber and I discussed my oversized water heater and how it would need a new overflow valve to fix the drip. Since it was close to the end of its warrantee, I decided to replace it instead of just the rather expensive part.
Since I'm disabled, I didn't go down to the basement to make sure all went well, but, since I had hot water, all seemed well. Until...
...my water heater died. Except that it was my old water heater, not the new one I had expected. I live in a two-condo building, with both water heaters side by side in the other condo's space. Somehow, despite our talking at length about replacing *my* water heater, they replaced the one for the other unit. Which, of course, I had paid for.
When I brought it to their attention, I got various excuses which escalated into downright nastiness. After talking to other plumbing companies about what happened (and replacing my heater), they were unanimous in telling me never to use Crescent, and that the nastiness was typical. If called in for something else, Crescent also slaps their sticker on water heaters in the hopes that someone will assume they installed it.
If I could give them a zero, I would. A decent company would, at the very least, have offered to replace my water heater at cost. Instead I got abuse.
