I asked Gregg to come to my home because I wanted him to install a new gas cooktop and also do some plumbing repairs around my home. He came by, took a look, and said it did not look like a difficult job. Gregg told me to call him after I bought the cooktop. We never discussed any prices. I have had Gregg do some work at my home in the past and he was always top notch in every way.
Two weeks later when the $1700 cooktop arrived, I called and then emailed to Greg asking when would be a good time for him to do the job. He never replied. Phone calls, email, text messages. All were never responded to. Very strange. If he decided he did not want to do the job, I think the professional thing to do would have been to just let me know. However to simply not respond does not seem right. I have a small business myself and would never treat a customer that way.

I've now used Consolidated Plumbing and Heating twice, both times they were exceptionally helpful and quick to respond. The first time, our repair was handled the next day and done cleanly and professionally. The second time, they helped me diagnose over the phone and were above and beyond helpful. I will not hesitate to call again!

I was so glad to find AMC Mechanical when our gas dryer died. Andrew responded promptly and professionally at every stage of the process. We ended up being Home Depot's first delivery of the day and Andrew ensured that he arrived right when they did (7:30 am on a Saturday morning!). He worked incredibly efficiently and made sure to test that the dryer was working properly. I have highly recommended him to my friends in the Boston area and would definitely call him again for any future plumbing jobs.

I'm not sure why everyone on yelp gave Frank just glowing reveiws, because my experience with him was completely different. His quote came out higher than most and his expertise left me a bit concerned. Call him if you wish, but I found better options out there.

Last year my heater broke right before a major storm. I called multiple places and was told that it would be days before they could come take a look at it. A friend of mine recommended Pat. Pat was there that afternoon and was able to resolve my issue almost immediately. I was expecting to pay through the roof for the quick service but the bill was very reasonable. Pat walked me through the bill so I knew exactly what he did. I highly recommend Casper plumbing and heating. A+ service.

We called this morning with a drain problem and Wayne's crew was here within 90 minutes. Extremely professional and courteous, masked and gloved with Covid-19 in mind, and they did the job in no time at all. We're very pleased and recommend them without hesitation.

Fast. Friendly. Effective. Renato was awesome. Our heater stopped working during a frigid weekend and he was at our house within 30 min after calling. He figured out that the igniter was the issue, zipped off to some store to get the part, came back and fixed it. I really appreciate that he also explained what he was doing and showed me where the issue was with the part. For COVID considerations, he was masked up and kindly sanitized his hands when he arrived. Highly recommend his business! Thank you.

Very happy with these guys. The owner, Leo, was quick in getting back to me this fateful morning, when we found the basement flooded with raw sewage--on a Sunday, of course. Communication was excellent: he told me he'd have somebody to my house in 2-3 hours. When some other emergency called his technician away, Leo called back immediately to let me know but told me I'd be the next priority, and I was.
They're not the cheapest, but I decided to go with them because I was worried about the age of my sewer pipe (my house is over 100 years old), and Z Plumberz is one of the few companies that have the latest technology to deal with old, damaged pipes.
When looking for help, I had read a horror story told in a review on another local plumber who damaged a sewer pipe while snaking it. Their insurance company refused to pay. The bad plumber apparently hadn't used a camera to assess the condition of the pipe to ascertain whether it was already damaged. So sue me, he told the person, who had to spend $10K on repairs.
I shared my concerns about that with Leo at Z Plumberz, and he told me that they wouldn't snake without first using the camera to make sure the pipes were in good enough condition. What if they aren't? I asked him. He told me that his company has a way out of that problem: they use what's called trenchless sewer line repair, which is utterly awesome: it's a repair method that allows plumbers to repair your pipes underground, negating the need to dig out an entire trench. Absolutely do google that term - trenchless sewer pipe repair - if you have sewer pipe issues in an old house. Do be careful, though: one drain expert told us that a crooked plumber out of Saugus has been offering this type of service (it's pretty newfangled, and only about 3 plumbers in the area offer it, we were told) but was charging people the cost of photographing their pipes, claiming to show them images of clear pipes, but in actuality those were old photos of somebody else's pipes and hadn't done the work at all. He was convicted, we were told, but he's used 3 different business names, all based out of Saugus (sorry, legitimate Saugus plumbing/sewer pros!), so it wouldn't be surprising if he popped up again doing the same thing.
At any rate, my situation wasn't that dire. The problem wasn't with the pipe outside the house. Rather, My tenants or somebody else had flushed wipes - that horribly common cause of drain blockage. They got stuck in the drain trap, and the drain backed up. It was straightforward to fix, took an hour, and the cost was $290.
The technician who came - I think his name was Auden, perhaps - was equally professional as Leo, communicated really well, and was very informative. He did a lovely job cleaning up with his shop vac, though of course we had to get down there with a whole lot of bleach afterward, so that was our Sunday.
I'd highly recommend Z Plumberz. I would have also been happy with John's Sewer, I think. They sent somebody in a really timely manner to suss out the situation, and he was great. The only reason I chose Z Plumberz was because of their ability to do trenchless repair if needed: a technology that even the John's Sewer tech said was cutting edge and top-notch.

Had a problem with upstairs toilet. Called 4 people, couldn't get anyone here within a week. Call Mass Plumbing and Heating, Welter came within 3 hours. Welter was respectful of current Covid issues, he was efficient, cleaned everything up, and in general...a nice guy to have working in the house. Highly recommend! Barbara C.

We had a clogged bathtub drain and coincidentally saw a T-Flow van parked right outside our building so we gave them a call. We were told that the team working across the street from us could come right over after completing their current job. This was great because the other companies we'd tried reaching out to were all booked since it was the first day after the holidays. The team that came over was super professional, knowledgeable, and fixed our issue very quickly. They even laid down a cloth to walk on and cleaned up after themselves so you couldn't tell we'd just had repairs done at all. We would definitely do business with them again and recommend to others.

Simon is a great plumber that provides exceptional service. I've called Simon for my plumbing needs, he arrived as scheduled, performed the work professionally while explaining what is being done. He does a great job, completed the tasks at hand and is very efficient. He has reasonable rates and cares about the consumer. I highly recommend High Quality Plumbing LLC for all your plumbing issues.

Bill did an exemplary job. He is extremely responsive, knowledgable, and a pleasure to work with. His customer service is second to none. He took excellent care of our furnace and addressed all of our concerns. I look forward to hiring him again in the future.

Please stay away from this unethical company. The manager Rick was not only rude but also lack of basic ethics. This morning, when he called to ask me for payment for a 3-hour job --replacing a transformer for the heating system in my rental property. I told him please send me the invoice and I will mail you a check. He replied if I let everyone do that, I would go out of business. When I asked him to explain what was done and please at least show me a job order and a photo of the replaced/bad parts and I would give you my credit card info. Then I left home and started driving to the site. While I was still driving and wasn't able to answer his call, he left me a voice message saying if you don't call me back I will ask the plumber to put back the old parts and leave you with no heat. And within less than 30 minutes I parked my car and only found out that they already removed the parts and left my tenants in the cold. What kind of company would treat customers like this? This is absolutely unethical. Before they showed up this morning, we at least had some heat, but now the heating system does not even turn on. I don't know what they did and why it took them 3 hours the first time and only a few seconds the second time. First they wanted to overcharge you, and when that failed they just did more damage to your system and more inconvenience to people. What bad news!.......Soon after that I called another plumbing company, Winters Plumbing and Heating. They sent a technician over and inspected the heat pump, and concluded that the system was messed up and beyond repair.

Though you may receive good service, you will pay through the roof, and then if you seek feedback on why the cost is so high, the owner will yell at you and berate you.
The service provided by Andrew Fodera, the plumber who provided my service was great. He was on time, respectful, answered questions and very helpful. However, you will pay through the roof for the service. Andrew came to my home twice for no more than an hour each time to assist with a leaky kitchen faucet and continuously running toilet. I was informed I needed to replace the kitchen faucet and he adjusted the chain in the tank and tightened some bolts. Andrew returned to install a new kitchen faucet that I had already purchase. The total for the two visits $791.96.
Feeling this was very high for two hours of work, I contacted Ron Pescatore to inquire about the bill and understand the charges. Only to have him yell at me on the phone and ask me repeatedly what I thought his time is worth. I indicated that I expected to pay a reasonable hourly rate, but am very surprised at 2 hours of time for the work provided totaled nearly $400 an hour. He continued to yell over the phone about the cost of his trucks and time to drive to my home stating more than an hour to drive each way.
Be advised, you are paying for labor, owners time to coordinate, drive time and god knows what else. I take responsibility for not getting a cost estimate prior, I have learned my lesson.
I will pay my bill, but I would recommend that no one hire this company, given the high prices and the treatment you may receive from the owner if you reach out to better understand the cost. Just know that with this company, you will pay through the roof for basic plumbing needs.

Two years ago my water heater was leaking. Their sticker was on my water heater, so i called Crescent. The plumber and I discussed my oversized water heater and how it would need a new overflow valve to fix the drip. Since it was close to the end of its warrantee, I decided to replace it instead of just the rather expensive part.
Since I'm disabled, I didn't go down to the basement to make sure all went well, but, since I had hot water, all seemed well. Until...
...my water heater died. Except that it was my old water heater, not the new one I had expected. I live in a two-condo building, with both water heaters side by side in the other condo's space. Somehow, despite our talking at length about replacing *my* water heater, they replaced the one for the other unit. Which, of course, I had paid for.
When I brought it to their attention, I got various excuses which escalated into downright nastiness. After talking to other plumbing companies about what happened (and replacing my heater), they were unanimous in telling me never to use Crescent, and that the nastiness was typical. If called in for something else, Crescent also slaps their sticker on water heaters in the hopes that someone will assume they installed it.
If I could give them a zero, I would. A decent company would, at the very least, have offered to replace my water heater at cost. Instead I got abuse.
