Best Drain Cleaning in Boston MA
I just had an excellent experience with Greg. I was in need of a plumber to take care of a few issues on our home inspection report as we're in the process of selling our house. I had left a message for Greg - and called back the next day...he was so apologetic that he couldn't return my call the same day. This started our experience off in right foot.
Within a few day, Greg came by - addressed the issues and even suggested I not get something repaired as it could lead to future issues. He was honest, and extremely kind and respectful.
It's too bad that I'm moving - for Greg would be my go-to for anything plumbing and heating. Before calling anyone else, please let Greg take care of you!

Received a return call from some rude lady to schedule a heating service. Worst attitude like they're the only plumbing company in MA. I'd rather not deal with that.

Just finished a service visit from Wayne in regards to a malfunctioning garbage disposal. He was prompt, polite and extremely helpful over the phone as I described the issue to him before coming by in person.
Furthermore since I had assumed that the disposal was broken he actually told me to hold off on purchasing a new one as he believed it could be repaired without a replacement (though he had some in his truck if I needed it). He was extremely knowledgeable in a wide range of brands and told me which were reliable and which to avoid.
He was very accommodating and took my calls on the weekends as well!
Very upfront with the cost and even gave me his two cents on other home projects I was considering saving me a bunch of future headaches and expenses!
Overall he's been one of the most upfront and honest services I've dealt with and i'll definitely be using him again for any future projects.
Would strongly recommend!

These guys were excellent! I called and they were here in an hour. Quote was half the price of another national company. Service person, Dennis, was courteous, timely and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to fix my outside drain issue. Would recommend this company anytime, anyday.

Fantastic service and PRICING! Came right out and took care of our shower in short time for short money.

Frank has done an excellent job in my house. My water heater started a bad leak. I called several places, he was the only one who responded right away (no answering service). He was in my house in 15 minutes to check out the situation. The job was completed neatly and professionally, in about three hours (including a warehouse run). The price was more then fair, right down the middle of the already low estimated range. I would call him again in a heartbeat.

I own a condo in an old building in Cambridge and I called Beantown drains yesterday because the plumber I had scheduled to fix my clogged shower drain bailed at the last minute due to a family emergency. I got in touch with the owner Matt at 12 and he was at my place by 1 and fixed the clog in about 15 minutes. He then noticed that the trap was broken so he replaced that and a couple of other old pieces over the course of a two hours visit. We pretty much talked the whole time while he worked about our jobs, family and other interests.
Matt is a really nice guy and a total straight shooter who's goal is to develop long term relationships with his customers over maximizing the amount of money per job. He gave me a totally fair deal for work and parts way beyond what we originally discussed. The experience was so good that I'm writing a yelp review which is something I haven't done in years. I will absolutely call Matt and Beantown Drains when I have another plumbing issue.

My family used Charlie's services in Boston about a month ago. We called him to fix the plumbing in my aunt's bathroom, but because of unforeseen circumstances, Charlie drove all the way out to my aunt's house, but wasn't allowed to come inside.
Charlie expressed so much empathy and kindness toward my family's unique situation. There needs to be more people like him in this world. Most people would have been extremely uncomfortable, but Charlie expressed his understanding and told us to call him when we need him again.
If you're in need of plumbing services - call Charlie! He's one of a kind.

Bill did an exemplary job. He is extremely responsive, knowledgable, and a pleasure to work with. His customer service is second to none. He took excellent care of our furnace and addressed all of our concerns. I look forward to hiring him again in the future.

These guys have been great in the two times I've needed to use them. Each time they've responded quickly and been able to resolve the situation completely. I needed to have Boston Sewer come so I could apply for the Lateral program and Rapid Flow returned to highlight the issue. Can't recommend them enough.

Service mgr Chris was very helpful and his service plumbing technician Ryan was excellent and professional on my hot water heaters.

Mike did all of our plumbing for a bathroom renovation, and all of the work to install a new heating system. I would highly recommend him.

Last year my heater broke right before a major storm. I called multiple places and was told that it would be days before they could come take a look at it. A friend of mine recommended Pat. Pat was there that afternoon and was able to resolve my issue almost immediately. I was expecting to pay through the roof for the quick service but the bill was very reasonable. Pat walked me through the bill so I knew exactly what he did. I highly recommend Casper plumbing and heating. A+ service.

Boston is a small town.
My hot water was off. Matt (T-Flow, 617-818-1229) was available late, after Thanksgiving. I chose him because Yelp put him at the top. I read his reviews. And mine will sound similar. Short story, it was the TACO zone valve (whatever) for my indirect water heater, a $450 part.
I said to Matt, you close in 4 minutes. We can talk tomorrow. Matt - instead let's get started. Please send pics. They're worth a thousand words. Matt teaches me by phone: you have the following system. It could be these couple things. I'm sorry, though. I don't feel comfortable sending out my guys to do this specific work. He immediately sends me to another five star resolution. Their work, and that of the city, follows. It applies. Give Matt and T-Flow credit.
General Plumbing and Heating (781-396-3809). Jon - Matt told me the specifics. Here's what I think: Your boiler is only two years old. Before we talk money: Do you smell gas? I open the furnace door and check. Just a little, I said. Call the gas company. Tell them you smell a little gas.
The gas company in Cambridge was prompt. I receive mandatory good phone safety instructions from eversource gas. In maybe 25 minutes flat the gas guy is there and done. It is not a danger. He says I did right by calling. Here I'm thinking hot shower. And I become a safer new home owner. And he guessed right what it was. Free consult, no guilt.
Jon's guys, Roberto and Chris have the system humming early afternoon. Nice guys.
And Matt at T-Flow didn't make a dime. He's just another community leader in his corner of our fair city.

I called Wayne's Drains this morning. Because I was at work I asked them to call me when they were on their way and I would meet them at home. The tech called as promised just 5 minutes later and arrived at my place literally 30 minutes after my initial call. So great service in terms of how fast it all happened. The tech James was super nice, super fast, and resolved my toilet clog problem in 20 minutes. I had spent a lot of time trying to resolve it myself so it wasn't simply using an auger - he had to pull the toilet up and snake the whole line. They aren't cheap - when I calculate the hourly rate it's a lot - but it was exactly what they quoted me on the phone so no surprises there. Overall I am very happy with the service - fast, professional and my really annoying problem solved.

Would absolutely recommend Bushi's services. Extremely fast response, and prompt arrival. Renato was considerate and efficient, and I am so thankful.

Very satisfied with Z Plumberz. They are professional, response quickly (plumbers show up within hours), and communicate effectively. Everyone I have spoken to (the sales coordinator, the manager, and the plumbers) are all very thorough with the process. The rate is also pretty standard by Boston standard. I would highly recommend this company.

Don't even call anyone else for a quote - Budge It Drain is ALL you will need. The ladies in our house all have long hair. We recently downsized from 3 bathrooms to 1 (eeek!) and no matter what prevention method we try, we keep clogging up the tub drain. I have had to call for drain service 3 times now - Budge It was the 4th call so I have a lot to compare to... They came IMMEDIATELY, they were faster at clearing the drain in the old plumbing than any of the other companies that came and THEIR PRICE WAS *WAY* better! They cleaned up any debris left over and were really nice guys. Tell them Renée sent you when you call and tell your friends about them. You don't always need a drain company but when you do, you want a company you can rely on.

Two years ago my water heater was leaking. Their sticker was on my water heater, so i called Crescent. The plumber and I discussed my oversized water heater and how it would need a new overflow valve to fix the drip. Since it was close to the end of its warrantee, I decided to replace it instead of just the rather expensive part.
Since I'm disabled, I didn't go down to the basement to make sure all went well, but, since I had hot water, all seemed well. Until...
...my water heater died. Except that it was my old water heater, not the new one I had expected. I live in a two-condo building, with both water heaters side by side in the other condo's space. Somehow, despite our talking at length about replacing *my* water heater, they replaced the one for the other unit. Which, of course, I had paid for.
When I brought it to their attention, I got various excuses which escalated into downright nastiness. After talking to other plumbing companies about what happened (and replacing my heater), they were unanimous in telling me never to use Crescent, and that the nastiness was typical. If called in for something else, Crescent also slaps their sticker on water heaters in the hopes that someone will assume they installed it.
If I could give them a zero, I would. A decent company would, at the very least, have offered to replace my water heater at cost. Instead I got abuse.
