Plumbing problems suck. Plumbing problems on Sundays suck worse.
Called Clearwater Plumbing and the issue was resolved within an hour.
Also great recommendations for restorations.
Again plumbing emergencies are fun but at least Clearwater fixed it.

Recently our whole air conditioning unit needed to be replaced in our home. I had about eight companies come out to give estimates in regards to the cost, maintenance & guarantee options, system types, seer level, etc. My husband and I ended up going with Lakeside heating, cooling, and plumbing. We were not disappointed. Today was our install day and the team arrived and they did a great job, they were very friendly and they talked us through the unit and the new thermostat upon completion. Overall we had a great experience with them. The only thing I would say has room for improvement, is there automated email and texting system. Both of these were sent to us to confirm our appointment for today and both posted a time of 9:00 a.m. Around 9:30 they still are not here to install so I called the office to follow up. The lady who answered the telephone was very friendly and informed me that actually is not one set time but rather a window of time so that the employees can show up to the office and get what they need for the day in the a.m. This does make perfect sense, I just wish the texting an email systems would have informed me of this time range rather than one specific time. But again, overall they did an incredible job and we are very satisfied with our choice!

It's the middle of the night and your hot water heater decides to spring a leak.... who do you call? Crowell Plumbing, of course!
I've used the guys at Crowell Plumbing and Heating for years -- first at my house in Westchase, and more recently at my condo in Carrollwood, and I've always been very pleased with their service. Over the years they have helped me to replace old fixtures, fixed an annoying leak in my washing machine, and most recently replaced my hot water heater.
Bobby, one of Crowell's Master Plumbers, helped me by replacing the water heater and the drip pan underneath, and then completely replaced and reconfigured the PVC piping in and out of the water heater to be sure that everything was draining correctly. Very personable guy who took the time to explain what he was doing, and then spent the extra time cleaning up after the repair job to be sure that all the trash was removed and the floor was cleaned.
Crowell offers all of the standard residential, commercial, and new construction plumbing service and repair work as well as 24 x 7 emergency service. Their offices are on Florida Avenue near Cappy's Pizzeria.

Red Cap Plumbing and Air truly exceeded my expectations. We had been without hot water for 5 days and they sent Brent to the rescue.
We called a competitors and they charge me $155 to tell me what I already knew, then wanted to charge me another $155+ to install the part.
My coworker suggested I contact Red Cap. After speaking with Red Cap and explaining our concern, they offered to waive the $29 fee to troubleshoot the problem. Brent from Red Cap, fully diagnosed the problem and realized that there was another hidden issue as soot built up on the burner preventing the pilot light from staying on and properly heating the water. I asked Brent if they matched competitor pricing. He immediately contacted his manager and received approval to match the price.
What really impressed me was that Brent was very thorough and was able to properly explain the problem and recommend an appropriate solution.

I was quoted close to $600 to install a new faucet, which took my brother in law about 20 minutes to install. Additionally, I was told I would only be charged $37 for someone to come out, but I ended up being charged $51. I was very upset with the lack of transparency and the overpriced services offered.

Jamarcus was my technician and was excellent. He came on time, did everything as promised and above and beyond and cleaned everything up afterward. He fixed an ongoing issue we were having with second floor drainage in our home in South Tampa, and went above and beyond and taught me how to do a few things to save me from having to call a plumber back out so I could fix the issue myself going forward. Recommend him without a doubt.

No show - no call - do not waste your time with this company. Poor customer service at every step.
This company was supposed to install a water heater on Saturday morning. My husband called them on Friday to confirm the appt and was told they would be out between 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. We waited all morning for them to arrive and they did not show.
When my husband called the plumber, he said the wrong model was sent and that a manager had called to notify us that the install would not be happening. That's a lie! There was no call to his phone from this company. Had they had the decency to notify us, we would have understood. Their plumber said he would re-order but it would be another 10 days.
Today, Monday, 2/12/18, my husband called to cancel their service. They've proven their undependable. Their receptionist asked if he wanted to speak with a manager and he said he did. After holding for 8 minutes with no manager answering the call, he told the receptionist he was done. We looked at their reviews and thought they provided good customer service but our experience shows that to be inaccurate. It's worth it to pay more for a company that honors their commitment and communicates with their clients.

Yelp says I live in NY but I currently live in Port Richey, FL.
Called them out Monday 6/14/21 for toilets overflowing. Technician arrived at 6 and left at 10:30 p.m. Couldn't find clean out which is outside. I've only been in this house for 2 weeks. He went through the vent stacks and then snaked toilets inside and said it was due to a tidy bowl attachment that had gotten loose and entered the system.
He said it was under a 2 week warranty and I paid $440.68. Originally it was supposed to be around $340 but after he snaked it, he said the total was now $440.68.
Next day, 6/15/21, toilet overflowing again. When I called, I was told to turn off water under toilet, which I did. Same technician came back, this time he took off the toilet in the master bath (not the one that overflowed) and snaked from there. Toilet in other room that overflowed and had water shut off was now gushing water into the room. I noticed it and told the technician who came in and shop-vac'd the water out. I asked if the gushing water was because of him snaking the other toilet and he said no and then I asked if the wood floors lifted if they would be responsible. He said we would cross that bridge if we get to it and I called his supervisor, who has still not called me back.
After several hours, he says, I don't know what the problem is and we have to come back tomorrow with a camera because I have iron cast old pipes.
Wednesday, 6/16/21, different technician comes, tries to find clean out outside. Unsuccessful. Does not use camera and tells me it won't work under water, so did first technician not know this? He snakes from vent stacks...again and seems surprised when I tell him the other technician already did this. He now says he doesn't know why the other technician passed the job on to me and that he will have to come back with a piece of equipment that will help him find the clean out! Not sure why that piece of equipment wasn't on the truck.
Scheduling calls me after he leaves and says they are busy with OTHER clients and can't come back until Monday. I say, I AM a client and why aren't they coming back tomorrow when I can't use the toilets or anything water driven since I'm on a sewer system. I push the issue and she checks with a supervisor and now they are coming back Friday afternoon.
This is unacceptable. I think I'm getting pushed off because this is under warranty. The communication between the technician and the lack of a supervisor calling me back has me livid. I'm sure that if they had already paid and not been able to use the water for a week in their OWN home, they would be pissed.

I called and requested a plumber service since two of Kohler toilets water never stop running. In 2022 I had same problem in the other toilets, because I have 5 bathrooms. I told them exactly the same in detail, in 2022 my friend replaced the Kohler toilet valve kit I bought from local Home depot for about $20.00. Now the valve kit goes for retail $21.97 + Tax. In short: the needed parts less $40.00 because they would get the whole sale price. Anyway, the dispatched plumber asks us for $500.00 after he applied some sort of discount. After we found the price highly unacceptable, of course, we refused the service. Then we had pay $39.95 for their service call. However, if the person who answered the phone would tell me their price, after I told her what we needed to be done. After all, I could buy two new complete Kohler toilets for less than $500'00.

This is the worst place to have anything done at your house. They were the company that got the contract to do new construction install on our home from builder. Problems at the start and they send people that don't even know what heir doing. To this day our system still doesn't work properly. They install these fancy computer Air conditioning units and don't know how to program them or repair them. Worst part is they're base is 50 miles from my home. That's another reason to not hire these guys. My advise. Make sure you get a mom and pop company near your home.

I need a contractor for several jobs. I gave this group of clowns a small job; to install a safety handrail in the pool. Seemed simple.
They sent one worker and 1 supervisor; a manager named Bobby. The manager did not much; mostly watched the poor guy work in the heat.
When they finished and it dried, it was very loose. I called them back, they said oh, yes, it is loose. So they re-did it. I let it set overnight (they said it would be good in 20 min). It was worse. Very unsafe. Very poor workmanship. I brought them back to show them (a 3rd time) and they offered to fix it, but I told them to go away. I believe in second changes, but if you can't figure it out in 2 tries; you probably won't. I asked for my money back. They said no. They do not stand by their work. They lie about their abilities and they do not get the job done. I suggest to avoid BMD. They created a serious safety problem with the rail and they do not have the ability to do the work....and what they did was sloppy.
YOU SAID YOU OFFERED TO FIX IT. Liar. Yes, you came out a second time and fixed it. It was worse. Why would I have you out a 3rd time? I asked for a full refund, but would accept a refund on the labor. Nothing from you, i had a real professional out to fix it. He said you used the wrong cement and did not even have a brace on one pole insert. He said whoever installed this did not know what they were doing. You caused a dangerous situation. You lie and are unprofessional and unskilled. To anyone: Use these amateurs at your own risk.
