After some issues with the 3 ton unit originally installed, Cornerstone swapped it out for a 4 ton unit at no charge. The new unit has been operating without issue! Yay!! Thanks Cornerstone!

Came back from a 7 day cruise to find out that our upstairs AC unit had stopped working. I was very nervous about how things might turn out as the unit is around 7-8 years old. I tried some basic troubleshooting but no luck.
Rob W. was the tech that came out to our home and within 15 minutes he had diagnosed the problem; a frog had crawled into our drain line and plugged up the works.
Cornerstone could have easily told me the unit was DOA and I would need a replacement but instead, Rob W was very honest and charged us only for the work performed to get the pipe cleaned out.
Could not be happier with their work, will definitely use again in the future. Thanks!
Once again, Reese from Cornerstone was so helpful. We thought we had an issue with a new water heater running constantly, but he diagnosed it as a water leak from the street, hearing the water flow from the new unit. The County came and fixed it quickly, but we thank Reese and his waterlogged feet in our yard for the assistance.
Gary arrived promptly at the scheduled time to check out my hot water heater. He was very nice and explained everything in detail. I had a new water heater installed within a few days. Everyone was very helpful!

Richie and Michael came out and did a very thorough inspection. They replace a part which they showed me the original needed to be replaced. I would recommend Richie to anybody he seems to know better than anyone I've had here before. Hopefully next time if there is a next time I can have him again.
Excellent service by Ronnie! During seasonal inspection of A/C, problem was found w/ unit. Ronnie explained & gave options/recommendations.Have had Cornerstone maintenance service over 10 yrs now. Always great, courteous service. Highly recommend them.

Been dealing with Cornerstone for years. I have three houses in Plantation Palms that they service for me. They used to service my old A/C units and then they gave me a great deal and I replaced all three units.
I just had a problem with one unit not cooling. It was in a house that I have a tenant in with small children. The part was not going to be available for about 5 days. Jay, the A/C Service Manager helped me out big time. He was leaving for the day so he told me he would pick up two window air conditioners and personally install them for my tenant, all on his way home!
That's what I call going over and above to help a customer.

Called cornerstone about a drain line needing to be snaked. This is an additional property that I own. So the lady on the phone told me that they don't service rental properties. Then I told her lets consider it my home because it is, I own it. Told her I was probably going to sell it. Then she tells me its a $350 trip charge because Im going to sell it. WHAT A JOKE COMPANY!!! Obviously won't be using them or recommending to anyone!

I have our bathroom completely gutted, Cornerstone Pros verified the time of arrival and called a half hour before arrival as advertised!
They had sent Carlos out for in person for a estimate, I hit the jackpot with him! Carlos was very professional he offered several payment options explaining everything that needed done and set up an appointment for the work to be done, the next day If the repair is as excellent as Carlos I'm sure it will be, I'll be very happy with my choice in plumbers.

Excellent A/C service however way expensive on Blue Light UV purchase and install. I paid $594 for install of a 2 year Fresh-Aire Blue Tube TUV-BTER 24 Volt UV Light. Amazon sells the same exact item for $278. Install took less than 15 minutes ($316 profit... is excessive.) I should have investigated this further before purchase; so as the saying goes buyer beware!. It a shame too since I am one of their long time Platinum Customers. William Messina DNP, RN

I used this company for an electrical issue I had. Manny arrived on time, he took all covid precautions & followed CDC guidelines. He explained to me everything he was doing. I was very impressed. Knowledgeable and friendly. A++ would recommend and will use again if ever needed.
I found a leak from a water pipe leading into my house. When I called to schedule an appointment and the lady who answered was very helpful, initially all they had was an appointment 3 days out, she had me wait to try and get me worked in the same day. 2 hours later Troy S arrived. He was professional and kind. He explained the problem, and the fact that that my pipes might continue to do this (not his fault, my house is old, and he was being honest). He repaired my leak quickly, and cleaned up after himself. I would definitely have him out for any future issues that come up.

Chris came out and looked at our old water conditioner tank almost 10 years old and was very honest and fair with his assessment and recommendations. He even tried to fixed a disconnected hose causing water to spill out and rust on our garage floor again showing us clearly why we will need a new unit. Very professional, knowledgeable and reasonable quote. Will definitely call him back out in near future! Where to start? These ladies and gentlemen at Cornerstone have never let me down. I first came to them several years ago after one of their competitors wouldn't make right on a problem that never seemed to end. They fixed my system then and they have just done it again.
Scott came out first and spent 5 hours running down the probable cause and when he needed a fresh pair of eyes, he made the call to the office and got Brandon and, their newest technician, William out on the same day even though they all had full schedules. They finally found the problem tucked away deep in the duct work where a bunch of wires were melted together (their best guess was from actual construction, which I would have to agree with that assessment, as we've had weird problems since we bought the house.
After they finally found the problem, they fixed it in about 30 minutes. Courteous and professional all the way!
I would also like to give commendations to Matt and James for services in the past that I've never done a review for!
I know that no company can be all things to all people, but give Cornerstone a chance to earn your business, I don't regret it for a second!

They couldn't give me a ballpark estimate to install an RO system, which should be pretty routine. They insisted someone had to come out and I had to pay for them to come out - just to get an estimate. I found another company to give me a ball park estimate before coming out so I went with them. When I tried to cancel my appointment a day in advance they gave me real attitude and said they would try to cancel it. I had to tell them they can try all they want but if they send someone out I'm not paying for it or answering the door. They finally called me back and were able to miraculously cancel my appointment. Eeek. Working with them could have been a nightmare...
In all of my years on this planet dealing with contractor after contractor this is absolutely the worst contractor I've ever dealt with in all of my time. Can I simplify or understate how horrible this contractor is? They kicked my ceiling in and did not repair it. On two separate instances they tried to burn down my house and my whole wall turn black. Brand new installation has only worked at most two months at a time and I'm over a year in and out of warranty now. Under no circumstances would I ever call this contractor they are the worst I've ever dealt with

Called in a panic after another company was a no show and they sent a tech out the next day. Kevin was on time, courteous and explained everything fully. He was even super friendly to my two year old and completely understanding when my dogs wouldn't stop barking. He emailed me a detailed receipt (including pictures of the work) just an hour after completing it. The price was higher compared to other places I called, but I'd gladly pay more to receive such awesome customer service.

We continue to be impressed with the employees of Cornerstone. Our air conditioning units both needed repair and one replaced. Chris P. was very professional and didn't pressure us to make a decision regarding the repairs. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained the problems and solutions thoroughly.
Always wonderful to have businesses do what they say they can do as well as not push to get a decision immediately, understanding that no expenditures are trivial when it comes to home repairs. We continue to feel Cornerstone cares and works with its customers to help receive prompt thorough service.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about cornerstone. My husband and I bought our first home recently and had 3 inspections prior to closing only to find out that the house was a disaster and no one actually inspected anything! Their electrician Chris came out to meet with us and inspect the house and unfortunately we had to rewire everything. Chris worked with us through the entire process. He and Wiz did all of our rewiring and then some. I cannot say enough about their work ethic, they did everything they could to make this a comfortable and easy process for us. They were also a lot of fun to have in the house, both of them are characters which made it less stressful for us. We've also had cornerstone do some plumbing for us as well. I'd refer them to anyone.
We really appreciate Cornerstone's professionalism and courtesy. Their office staff is always very helpful. I really like the text and emails showing when the service person will arrive and a photo of the service person. Even when I my phone cut off the office staff, I was reconnected with the person already working on helping me resolve my plumbing problem without having to re-explain the problem. Chris, the plumber, was very nice, knowledgable, and respectful. While not the least expensive plumber in the area (the office sets the amount for specific services) they warranty the work and get the job done. It is perfect for people like us who just moved to the area and need reliable tradespeople.

I was in panic mode when I noticed a wet spot on my ceiling! After narrowing down the issue we contacted Cornerstone Pros. The very next day (it was late when I called) Quenton came out and after climbing around in the attic he figured out what the problem was. Quenton was very professional and very helpful. He turned a very stressful situation into a very positive experience. Thank you Quenton and Cornerstone Pros for taking care of us with the best customer service experience I have had in years!
DO NOT USE Cornerstone air. They are a dishonest company/ manager and owner included, with incompetent, unskilled service techs. I bought a brand new a/c unit from them- very expensive. I also purchased a service contract with them to maintenance the unit. They sold be a unit that has had multiple problems. They have been unsuccessful with repairing the unit. They have avoided all of my calls refusing to come out to do warranty work and let me use my service contract. They have admitted that the unit is faulty and want to wipe their hands clean of it. They left me with a big mess of water stained and mold covered ceilings and a mess of an mold and water filled attic.
In addition, they have dishonest repairman. On one appointment that I had with them, the tech asked me if I had any other problems in the house and I did have a problem with my dryer vent. They Cornerstone tech sold me that they repair a/c, plumbing, and electrical, and he would gladly repair my dryer vent. He did the job and he said his credit card swiper wasn't working so I had to pay him my cash or check. I wrote him a check and he said that he would bring it to Cornerstone and write up a invoice and mail it to me. The work he did was faulty so I called Cornerstone to ask them to come to look at it. The manager/owner of Cornerstone air said that he knew nothing of this repair and refused to take responsibility for his employee. He told me that the company was not responsible for their employees doing this type of work.
I have been trying to get them to come out for nearly a year now to come out and paint the ceiling that was supposed to be covered under the manufacturers warranty due to a faulty unit. I have also been calling them to have a service man come out to service my unit because I have water and mold all over my ceiling right below the a/c unit. They have avoided my calls and just finally told me today that they didn't want to service my unit anymore because there have been too many problems with it. They recommended that I find a different a/c company.
Cornerstone is fantastic about taking your money to purchase and install a new a/c unit and sell you a maintenance contract but are incompetent and unwilling to make good on a faulty unit that is still under warranty and that they sold you a service contract for.
Cornerstone has been nothing but a VERY EXPENSIVE, time consuming, home damaging headache for me. I HIGHLY suggest not engaging in business with them.

Came home late last Friday evening after a long day of work to find that our AC wasn't working and it was 82 degrees in our home. I'd heard good things about Cornerstone and gave them a call, even though I assumed I'd get a voicemail since it was after 8PM. Much to my surprise, my call was answered by an after hours receptionist, who promised that a technician would get in contact with me shortly. Not 20 minutes later, the tech called to say he had 2 calls in front of me but that he would come to my location after he had finished his previous calls. I live in Dade City - certainly not an on the way location! By 9:30PM my tech had arrived. He worked hard for over an hour and made sure that he didn't leave until my problem was diagnosed and resolved and I had AC again. So very grateful to Cornerstone going above and beyond, out and about, until late in the night so I could get a good night's sleep and enjoy the weekend! :) Will definitely use them again!

My wife and I decided to have out plumbing and HVAC replaced. It is great to have a company that can do both with a fair price. I am a home inspector and the quality of work was great. Trevor was fantastic from the quote and always available to me. The crew was outstanding as well. Jerry, Chipper, mike, and Jay were fantastic! Professional and finished both jobs in one day. I would happily recommend them.
Dont waste your time or money. They dont care about your schedule or appointment. On top of that you get an incomplete and bad job done.

Have used Cornerstone for our AC needs for years and have always trusted them and their team. Recently we started using them for electrical and plumbing and were happy with them in those areas, too.
We signed up for their maintenance plan... not sure what they call it... and all 3 technicians showed up on the same day as promised to do their inspections.
They uncovered some potential problems throughout our property BEFORE they became BIG problems. Being a member of their plan saved me a fair amount on their posted rates.
That said, the only feedback I would have for them is to quit advertising so much and driving their rates up. Their prices are still reasonable... but are on the high side of the other quotes I received.
In years past, they would always have been a five star, but I was able to get the work done for less elsewhere.
As for the quality of their work and the cleanliness and professionalism of their staff... you won't find any better, anywhere else.

I have nothing but exceptional things to say about Cornerstone Pros. Their customer service was second to none. They were able to diagnose and replace my faulty hot water heater within 24 hours and it was over the weekend! Kiel the technician was professional and polite, and his work was extremely clean. Kiel even gave me a follow up call later in the day after the install to ensure everything was working properly. This type of service is rare in this day and age. That goes for Kiel and everyone at Cornerstone Pros that I spoke with. Extremely satisfied customer!!
They sold me an A/C unit at $5,000 that later I found out was being sold at just over $3,100 with other A/C companies. On a maintenance visit 2 years later the A/C coil of that same unit 'broke' for no apparent reason and they wanted to charge me an extra $1,000 for 'labor' even though it was covered under the warranty. I called another A/C repair company since I figured a 2 year old coil would not break down easily and the technician confirmed my suspicion that the A/C coil was tampered with and broken by external means by someone who knew how to break it without damaging other parts of the unit. Cornerstone Air Conditioning & Heating Inc. is extremely dishonest and criminal in their practice, they should be avoided at all cost. I will be following up with a complaint with the BBB and I want to advice to all of you to stay away from these criminals but don't take my word for it, you can call them up and roll the dice yourself, it will only cost you a good amount of your hard earned money to prove me wrong. That is if you think it is worth it to ignore this warning.
Purchased new system last year and have had at least 6 service calls since install. Once again my system is not working and my home is getting hot, which isn't good with a baby in the home. Stay away.

They are still trying to get it right, but they are making progress.
I had a 12-year old AC system. I had ZERO problems. Plenty of cold air, acceptable humidity with 1 dehumidifier that I emptied once a day. The unit cycled on and off as anyone would expect. I decided to replace that system with new so I could control when and for how long I'd be without AC.
I was sold a state-of-the-art AC system that was allegedly much more efficient and would lower my electric bill. A Daikin DZ18VC0361 with a DV37PECC14 Air Handler. It's an 18 SEER 3 ton unit and I have a 1,500 SqFt home. What I have is grossly less efficient and my electric bill is 10% higher.
They arrived at 9:30am, left at 11:30pm. The next day the AC ran all day long. They returned and saw that they had forgotten to connect some ductwork. A couple days later the AC was still running all day. I was now using 2 dehumidifiers that I emptied twice a day. They returned and discovered another section of ductwork had been torn open and needed to be replaced. I had to pay for that and they replaced it.
A couple of days later the AC was still running all day and couldn't catch up until late evening. They returned and checked all the ductwork and sealed all the ductwork. They corrected some things found by the inspector. The inspector returned and said the Air Handler was leaking cold air into the attic. They allegedly fixed that, checked everything.
The AC still runs all day, can't catch up until early evening. In order to maintain 79* the unit has to be set at 74*. I was able to maintain 45% humidity using 1 dehumidifier that I emptied once a day. Currently I am am unable to maintain 45% humidity using 2 dehumidifiers that I empty twice a day.
The inspector returned, along with the new installation manager for Cornerstone Pros. The air leak had apparently been fixed. However, the inspector found another problem. Three weeks later and haven't heard a word.

They came out to assess my plumbing. I needed a toilet float.. asked the cost and was told 130.00. Ummmm I paid 200 for the entire toilet. Had them look at an outdoor faucet and was told 300-400 for the PART!!! It's a normal faucet!! So I said thank you, I'm not interested, the tech (who just threw out these costs....never looked anything up) told me don't shoot the messenger. I then asked him again to leave. There are too many small businesses to support during these hard economical times.
After our AC stopped working we researched companies and read reviews from Yelp. Cornerstone had received good reviews so we decided to give them a try.
We were very pleased with the results!! We called this morning and received an arrival timeframe of between 10-2. We also got an hour call ahead to let us know they were on their way. Our technician, Richie, was very professional and had our problem fixed by 12:00 that afternoon. We will definitely be using Cornerstone again!!
I called Cornerstone because they are a business in the vicinity where I live and I wanted to give them an opportunity to earn my business. The office person was very friendly and set up an appointment for a salesman to give me a second opinion on replacing my central air conditioning. Michael showed up on time the same day with a big smile and an eager to please attitude. He LISTENED to everything I said which to me is most important! By LISTENING, he was able to determine what my needs were and explained how his company could best meet my needs. I wound up making a purchase right then and there knowing I was getting a good deal and a good product. I would highly recommend giving Cornerstone the opportunity to earn your business and hope you have the same experience as I did.
Brandon did a great job installing UV lighting in our HVAC units to minimize any mold buildup on the condensers given the heat and humidity we deal with in Florida. Also, kudos to Miguel in the office for working with us with some great pricing. We have always been impressed with their field technicians, including Brandon. They are courteous, professional and personable.

I am very happy with the work Cornerstone performed in replacing my heat pump. We replaced a 14 year old unit that was making a lot of noise. The new unit works great! They were on time and were very neat. The county inspector also told me they did a nice job.
Service tech was great but their pricing was so much higher than other qualified AC shops around. It seemed as if they did t want my buisness and could care less. So many promises and yet so little delivered.

Reese came out a checked my ceiling for a possible leak. It turned out to be inactive and he later found that my leaky water heater was still under warranty. So he saved us $600 on replacing the other issue we had lingering over our heads. We highly recommend Cornerstone. :)

We are the 3 family - get 3 estimates and ke the lowest RESPONSIBLE bid. We needed bathroom commode work in our 80's ranch home. We had an idea of what we needed but decided to go with the 3 method and not DYI as we will be done a full house reno in the next year and will need contractors we can trust. Cornerstone fell off the top of the list with a fix or replace cost for a bathroom toilet at $576.00! The lowest RESPONSIBLE bid for a new toilet, installed, flushed and ready to go came from a Lowe's contractor for $215!
We highly recommend the 3 Method - had we gone with our first call (Cornerstone) we'd be out $285! Best of all, we now have a responsible plumbing contractor for the BIG remodel - whew!

This Saturday my AC quit on me! It was 19 years old, so I knew I had to say good bye. I called at 4 pm and Travis came by 7 pm. He provided me detailed information on what I can do to save my unit and also gave me a quote for a new unit. He was incredibly professional and very thoughtful in his explanation. He brought me portable AC units to keep us cool till the new unit would be installed on Sunday morning. He went above and beyond! Then today, on my birthday, Samuel and Blain, came installed the units. I am grateful! They were great! I recommend them highly!!! Thank you!
These guys came out to the house, did their inspection, an recommended a way ahead when one of my 3 units failed. The install was professional and painless on my end. They were professional and they cleaned up behind them. They took care in removing molding around the attic access and re-installed it when complete. The new unit working great. Only ding was that they did not schedule me for the county inspection once complete. They are my new AC service company for the future. Thanks.
I contacted Cornerstone Air because I saw the positive ratings from other sites. the gentleman who came out was punctial and extremely nice. However, this company is extremely overpriced. He let me know I had a bad freon leak coming from my coils and that i would require purchaisng a new unit. The prices for a 2 ton unit were from $4K-$11K, which is extremely ridiculously expensive. So instead of purchasing a unit from them I chose to get a second opinion and that individual told me that the coils just needed to be replaced not the unit, which would only cost me about $500. BIG difference. I'm glad I didn't go with Cornerstone, or I would've been out $5400 dollars. I would not recommend based on pricing.
This review is about Cornerstone Air and plumbing. The great experience started on their website at 10:00 PM. I was able to initiate an inquiry directly from the website. I'd always used the HVAC company that had installed my system to perform twice yearly system checkups. I wasn't happy with the last few visits so I searched for a new company. I was very apprehensive because prior to replacing my air handler and compressor I had many service calls from just about everyone in the Brandon area. I felt ripped off each time. This time, Hannah was my appointed customer service rep. We communicated via email. She told me they had a tune-up special that was at a GR8 price. I set up an appointment for that afternoon. She was extremely attentive, always concerned about me and my schedule - not there's.
About 1 hour before the scheduled time, I received a text message telling me that Brandon was on his way. There was a picture included together with a short bio. (Neat!) Brandon arrived before I got home and my wife let him in. When I arrived 30 minutes later, he was already in the middle of servicing the air handler. My system has a pump to remove the air handler waste water and he inspected that too. He was extremely personable, knowledgeable, funny and had a great attitude. He pointed out some potential issues and offered GR8 maintenance suggestions. We then went to the external compressor where he set up gauges and provided me with some very useful information regarding Freon levels and stages. I was extremely impressed.
Out of the 15 or more air companies I've dealt with Hannah, Brandon and Cornerstone were the very best. Their extremely professional, caring, knowledgeable and stuck to their quoted pricing.
Don't make the mistake that I did for so many years and call the other scammers - Just call Cornerstone and you'll be as happy as I am now! Thank you Hannah and Brandon - I really appreciate how you helped me!!! AGAIN - This is the company you should use.
We previously used Cornerstone for a plumbing issue so when we had a major problem late Saturday afternoon, we called them again.
We found a drip in our garage ceiling and when we pushed on the ceiling...water poured out! We concluded it was coming from the second floor a/c.
Called them and Tim, our technician, came out to inspect. He was very knowledgeable and super nice. He wanted us to understand the system we had and he reviewed it with us.
He found the problem and had it fixed in a couple hours. He kept us informed throughout the entire job and answered all of our questions.
We signed up for their monthly program and will be calling to schedule our plumbing inspection soon.
We are very happy with the service we received and would recommend highly!
I will update review after our plumbing inspection. I am hoping we get another amazing tech!

Cornerstone is one outstanding company. Every single experience I've had with the company has been a pleasant experience. Quick to respond to any request, the employees are both personable and professional. My positive experience with one of its employees, Reese, was just the latest example of this being true. This is the company that you need to use for all of your plumbing needs. No more needs to be said.
My faucet in kitchen broke and I called Cornerstone. They came promptly. Tony was awesome and explained everything. He had such a friendly and funny attitude. He removed the old and replaced the new one in about an hour. He cleaned everything too. Could not ask for better service.
My upstairs toilet stopped filling water after flushing. This happened a few days ago and I could not use the toilet unless I filled water in the tank manually each time I used the bathroom. Uggh
I used yelp to find a local plumber and based on reviews, I called Cornerstone. The customer service associate, Caleb was very helpful in setting up an appointment for today. Gary C. was the plumber who arrived. He was very cautious about not getting dirt in the house. He diagnosed the problem as a broken fill valve and recommended changing the fill line from the plastic one we had to a metallic coil with brass ends. He said that type was better since it could be bent and still work well.
He did the repair in less than 30 minutes and was able to knock of $20 off the initial service call. He was able to send an invoice to my email for my records instantly which was appreciated. Gary was very amenable to my asking lots of technical questions and was very friendly.
While I hate repair, Cornerstone made it a very painless experience.

We had a toilet that was never properly installed despite prior company coming out three times and breaking the toilet paper holder in the process.
Mike Hill came out and did a beautiful job and remove extra wax rings the other company just left under the toilet and never got a proper seal. Mike also installed my new toilet seat which I very much appreciated. From setting the appt, the follow up and timely arrival everything was professional. While price was a bit expensive I learned my lesson from prior company You Get What You Pat For. We would definitely use this company again and Mike Hill our plumber was great and professional. My bathroom now looks great and I will be able to keep it clean.

our air conditioner went out July 1, 2023, called Cor east one on July 2, 2023. tech was out noon that day. We were told that the unit was out of Freon, the tech gave us a quote of $350 a pound for the first pound and $321 for each pound after. Because our unit is 20 yrs old he had to ask his boss if he could put r22 in which he didn't have on his truck. He returned the next day to put the Freon in, which was almost 4 pounds. The bill was over $1300. After calling three other businesses and was quoted their prices which ranged from $75 to $100 per pound I felt we were taken advantage of. I called Cornerstone this morning and talked with the manager which she told me that was their price. The tech did not check for any leaks before he put the Freon in. I am writing reviews in several places. I would not even give them a star for their business but I have to give at least one.

Ive decided to update and condense my previous review.
Cornerstone was hired for a repipe and I was left with numerous issues after. While they did address and correct them, it did take them more than one visit and the correction was less than satisfactory. I feel the job was done just to satisfy my complaints and not to go above and beyond. I initially dealt with Miguel who was very friendly and helpful; he was empathetic to my complaints and tried to quickly resolve them. The reason I am giving two stars instead of one is due to Miguel's excellent customer service and a small refund I was given (it was less than I requested).
Cornerstone Air installed our AC in 2015. In 2020, they advised us that our unit platform was not pitched properly. They rebuilt the platform. Now, 3 years later, they told us that the platform is bowed. The technician told us that they should have used 3/4 plywood back in 2020, but my platform is only 1/2 plywood. The line backed up which, with a level platform, should cause the safety switch to engage and shut off the unit. The backed up line was not Cornerstones fault and I paid $248 for them to clear the line. However, the fact that the platform (built by cornerstone in 2020) was not level due to the wood bowing), caused additional problems. Since the platform was not level, the water flowed out out instead of the safety switch shutting it off (if it had been pitched properly, it would not cause water to flow out) and ruined my daughters carpet. Yes, the line was backed up. However, if the platform was level, the safety switch would have engaged, shutting off the unit and preventing water spillage. Now, they want to rebuild the platform again and they want us to pay for the rebuild. A platform, if done correctly, should last the life of the AC unit. Since it was not done correctly with the wood needed to support the size of my unit, it didn't last more than 3 years and now needs to be rebuilt. It didn't warp to do water. If it was level, the safety switch would have worked. The warp caused the water to flow out from the back up. So... here I am, stuck with paying for a platform rebuild due to them not properly building a platform to hold my AC unit for the duration of its life. In addition, I have another added expense to redo my daughter's carpeting.
Called to get a quote said they could not. Told them I had another company come out but was discouraged when their machine broke and they were indifferent when I said ok I guess I will just go with your competitor. Very snarky. Angie was her name.
I called them Monday morning to schedule installation of a bypass system for my tankless water heater. I figured I'd be lucky to see anyone for several days...... Especially since we've never used them before..... Nope, BIG surprise, they scheduled me for the same day.... Gave me the usual 4 hour window...... Bigger surprise, they were early! The installer was clean, courteous, and very professional (even when I got irritated over parts cost, which, in the end were spot on). Will definitely use them again!
Had my water heater installed and guys were awesome !!! We had some set backs due to my HOA but Josh and Robert were great they did amazing job !!! Very nice and professional .
I have been relying on Cornerstone Pros for a year now and have never had a problem with them. They have installed a new A/C system last year and have addressed a plumbing and electrical issue recently. There is a pond in my back yard with a fountain that quit working. I thought it was an outside switch to the fountain but they determined there wasn't. The two service men were going to walk out into the water to try to determine the problem but I advised them not to. Despite telling me it would be another charge to come back later if they obtain a boat to check the fountain I told them to get the boat and come back rather than walk out into a muddy silt filled pond. Most recently I had an estimate on a stand by generator. Michael took time to explain everything and answered any questions I had. I recommend them for HVAC, electrical and plumbing problems.
Both myself and my father use this business for our a/C and plumbing needs. For the most part we are very happy with them. They do a very through preventative maintenance. I really like the 9.95 a month one price for pm contract. One thing I'm not really keen on is the techs writing the invoice, it seems to me it would be more accurate if it came from the office. But maybe that's the way the industry does it, I'm not sure.

I paid $160 for them to flip a breaker switch.
They charged a $69 fee for the analysis, which is a bit high, but I'm fine with the charge. Then they charged $95 to flip a breaker switch, which is insane. The HVAC guy was in and out of the house in less than 5 minutes. I called management to complain and they stood by the charge saying this was the standard default service fee; I thought that was the $69, but apparently not.
A/C stopped working and called Conerstone after reading other reviews. I am pleased to say their service was outstanding. Donald was our technician and he was professional and explained everything to us. Very impressed and will recommend to friends and family.
Chris our Tech is very knowledgeable. Takes the time to explain what he is doing and what has to be done. We trust him, his work is very neat and we will be using you services in years to come, We just hope that Chris will be around!

Update this company had responded, but after some back & forth about if they pay their service techs commissions / bonuses for the extra work they find / sell. Cornerstone deleted that part of this review.
They never answered the question, but I did find out from one of their people their techs are in fact paid to find services to sell you. Like in our case the tech said we had mold in our air handler & needed a very expensive UV light to make the air in our home safe. I climbed the ladder to look myself & there was no mold.
The bottom line is when companies pay service techs to find work to sell it often promotes an environment where unneeded work is recommended.
Every time I see one of their billboards advertising Call Today, Fixed Today I just chuckle to myself...I last contacted them about 2-3 months ago to service a unit purchased from them (along with a full 10 year parts and labor warranty) only three years earlier (that has had CONTINUOUS issues); they showed up on day one to diagnose the issue, and then disappeared for over a week with NO communication whatsoever. My tenant called me on the 7th day of having no working A/C to ask for an update...all the while I believed the issue had been resolved. I called them to find out what was going on, and it sounded as though it was not a priority (perhaps they were aware, yet didn't bother to communicate this to me).
I was a loyal customer of Cornerstone for about ten years, but I firmly believe they've outgrown their ability to provide the service they guarantee, and their prices have gotten *ridiculous in comparison to competitors. They try to sell you one of their annual maintenance plans with each visit (with a convenient monthly payment plan). I ended up buying it on several occasions for my personal residence, which amounted to two free annual tune-ups and discounts on repairs, all for about $150.00 annually. I would have paid less for two tune-ups elsewhere, and the discounts I received only brought their pricing a little closer to what I discovered I would pay with a competitor. This unit was also purchased from them with a 10 year parts warranty.
The two times I needed warranty repairs, the labor cost was more than $500 for less then two hours of work (the service tech stated that Cornerstone charges flat fees for every job rather than hourly rate pricing)...only after complaining about the cost was I offered an additional discount and removal of the service call fee (which became the norm...there was always an 'initial price quote' followed by a 'better price quote' with a discount reserved for some plan for which I was not currently subscribed). I will say that the techs were always polite and friendly, but always trying to sell some additional plan or protection.
I am done with this kind of service. I can't imagine treating customers like this unless you *want to lose business.

I was referred to Cornerstone by a Plumber who couldn't get to me for a week, but trusted the fact that if he referred them, they had to be good. My call was answered quickly and was surprised that they had a same day appointment within a few hours of my call. Mike Hall was the tech and he called to tell me he was on his way. Mike diagnosed the issue within minutes with my toilet and even offered to check the other two toilets to prevent future occurrence. I was out of town, so he texted me before and after pics, and my paid invoice since I paid over the phone with the office. Now THAT's customer service! I will definitely call them again if I need help and will be checking online to see what other services they offer. Many thanks to Mike for exceeding my expectations.

Asked for generator estimate. They gave price that wasn't itemized and was $7000 over the the retail cost of the generator. Look elsewhere first.
Cornerstone may have been good at some point in the past but over the past 5 to 7 years they have become arrogant and grossly incompetent. They regularly send out techs that have little to no knowledge whatsoever. Most of the time now they do much more harm than good. They are way over priced but now seem happy to charge whatever they can get away with and joyfully gouge away with no conscience whatsoever. They send out salespeople like their son in law to play with your AC with no idea what's going on. They then make up stories to cover their incompetence. Do not use them , do not trust them, believe nothing they say. You are better off throwing them off your property if you have a system still under warranty and find a competent honest company that can service your system before Cornerstone destroys it. They have earned and deserve zero stars. Their warranties are full of wholes with bogus deductions etc. Both my son and I have fired them for cause recently . Good riddance to bad rubbish!

Some neighborhood kids were playing in my side yard and managed to throw a bat and bust the main water valve into my house. Cornerstone was able to send someone out that evening, within an hour of being called, to get this issue resolved.
The plumber that showed up was fast, professional, and did a great job getting this issue resolved. He even managed to make the repair so that the valve no longer sticks out as much as it did when the builder installed it to help prevent any fluke, future catastrophes. Great job and customer service by Cornerstone on this job repair!
Wow! We have been satisfied Cornerstone customers for awhile and really had 'wow' service last week from Troy. We noticed an issue with our hot water heater and he was out quickly, professional, and personable. I definitely felt comfortable with his diagnosis and he was coming the next day to replace the unit. What sets Troy's service apart form a typical plumber? He was able to work quietly (and fast!!!) while I was working from home. He assured me Thursday he could do it while I was working and sure enough, you would never believe I had someone here doing a home project.....anyone needing a plumber, call Cornerstone and ask for Troy
Josh, the Cornerstone technician, performed the regular checkup and maintenance on our HVAC this morning. He was prompt, professional and very helpful. He even changed all five filters on the returns in our ten-foot ceilings for this 76-year old customer. I am completely satisfied with his work.
I called and a technician was out to help within a couple hours to service a clogged drain line from our AC unit that was leaking in our garage. The office staff were very nice and helpful. Matt was our technician and he was great! Got right to work to fix the problem and gave me great tips on how to avoid the issue in the future. Highly recommend and will call on them again in the future for any issues. Thank you!

Did not fulfill service contract guarantee. They advertise 24/7 Emergency Service. I even have a signed Gold service contract with them promising a 24 Hour Service Guarantee. I had a plumbing emergency coming home from work, promptly called them and was told someone could come out 4 DAYS later. Their discount you're supposed to get is also nothing special, they give you set prices which you can easily match or beat with their own coupons. Don't waste your time or money.

We were looking for a replacement water heater for our home. We searched for references and never really got stellar recommendations for anyone. We settled on Cornerstone based on a recommendation who was impressed with the individual who did the service. Unfortunately we we did not have that individual. Our experience included misunderstanding of quotes, missed appointments for installation and ultimately a tardy arrival upon rescheduling the installation. We were hoping to find a solution for all home repair needs but unfortunately this is not going to be Cornerstone

So my toilets been dripping for about two months now, and now it hasn't fully flushed in 2 days. I decided to give this company out since there has been such positive reviews about them. I'm really glad I choose them.
I didn't have enough time to call about the service so I filled out a form online. I probably for a call roughly 2 hours later. The lady on the phone was very nice and accommodating and we set up a time for the plumber to meet. He was right on time the next day. Well, actually 10 minutes earlier then expected. His name was Michael and he was very sweet. He answered all my questions, gave me a few recommendations and went right to work. He was spot on about what the issue was was my toilet. I'd definitely recommend them!
I had an electrical problem and needed someone out asap. Jerry G came out and found the problem. He was wonderful and made a tough situation very tolerable . I have been a customer for years and recommend them highly.

This is the first time that I have had a problem with Cornerstone, but it's been continuous and unresolved. Wednesday Ricardo came in and replaced the coil in the handler. A few hours after he left the AC completely shut off. I called the office and he came back out. He said he fixed it and an hour after he left it shut off again. I had to pack up my family and dogs to go sleep at a friend's house since the office couldn't send anyone out until the morning. Thursday Kyle came out in the afternoon and attempted to fix it as well. This time the AC turned off early in the morning. Friday morning I called the office again and Josh came out. He also attempted to fix the problem....the AC has again gone out and we have all packed up and had to leave our home again. We called the office and they said they could send someone out again Saturday. Saturday (yesterday) we again had to cancel all plans due to Cornerstone not being able to tell us a time when the tech would be able to come out. Garret came out in the late afternoon and found that when Ricardo originally replaced the coil he cracked the pan underneath. Garret told us he would have to wait until Monday to call in a replacement for this part. In the meantime, he reconfigured the piping so that the water that was dripping out of the unit would not fill up the pan and the AC would stay on. He let us know the only way it would turn off again was if the pipes were to clog and he didn't think that was going to happen.....4am this morning I again have no AC. This has been inconvenient to say the least. I have had to rearrange my schedule 4 days to be home (with no AC) when the tech comes and haven't even been able to sleep in my own home for 2 days. I don't know why this issue has not been escalated to someone who can resolve it. I'm frustrated with the lack of urgency and capability to resolve this issue. I called the emergency line this morning and spoke to John, he told me that he could schedule a tech to come out on Tuesday. This is not acceptable, this was a problem cornerstone created and now I have to wait 2 MORE days without AC.
Amazing company! I had gotten two other quotes for a central air system besides this company and chose this company because of their friendliness, thorough explanations and great price for a good quality product! The installers were very knowledgeable and friendly! I highly recommend this company and will be using them myself for any future needs I may have.
We have used Cornerstone a couple of times for different homes, but this most recent service call was exceptional. The tech was able to help us figure out why the unit kept freezing over at odd times even though the unit seem to be running correctly. Being the experts they are they helped us realized that a squirrel had gotten into the attic and tore apart the duct work. They were quick to fix problem and the house is finally cooling properly. This is also going to save on the electric bill now that the home isnt just cooling the attic. They are even handling the permit inspection from the city. We will continue to use Cornerstone for the prompt expertise and step by step communication. Great company to work with!

I called Cornerstone Air, Plumbing & Electrical to obtain a second opinion because of toilet smell/leak. My technician was Chris. My experience with Cornerstone was very professional and pleasant. I received a phone call from a service representative informing me that Chris would arrive to my residence within a hour. He was on time. I told him my problem and he listened attentively. He diagnosed my problem and provided a solution and future repair options. I choose to give 5 stars because of the professionalism of the staff from start to finish. In addition, I received a follow-up phone call from Mr. Chris. I will definitely call this company again for any home repair needs that I may have in the future.

Purchased the $49 Angie's List Deal for A/C Maintenance, Cleaning, and Tune-Up, including a Duct Fogging sanitation with One Pound of refrigerant. They reasonably charged an additional $29.95 for second A/C unit. Super communication with company. Answered each email promptly. A technician named Matt arrived and immediately put booties on his shoes to protect my floors. He introduced himself and explained everything he was going to do in great detail. He was meticulous and thorough....he took his time -- was not rushed. I was super impressed with the overall experience with this company from beginning to end. If you are a Angie's List member check out their specials. They also offer competitively priced warranty packages.
The only reason I use Cornerstone Air is because of Donald Smith the Technician, If Donald leaves I will take my business wherever he goes. I have been using them for years, they send out these young inexperienced techs who do the basics and try to upsell you to death. Donald came in and noticed that I did not have the proper shut off switch that should have been installed by the builder 5 years ago when my house was built. It should have never passed the county inspection. Anyways, I filed a warranty claim with my builder and it was installed, how their techs could have been servicing my house for all these years and not noticed?! Donald is old school and knows his stuff! People in the office are useless....
Rob from Cornerstone was phenomenal in helping get my A/C back up and running. I can't thank Rob enough for his prompt service, friendliness, knowledge, etc. Not only was Rob able to fix my issue in short order, he was a nice/down to earth guy the entire time which when dealing with an A/C issue is such a nice change of pace. I would highly recommend cornerstone to anyone in need of service!
We contacted this company through Angie's List and we can't say enough good things about Cornerstone A/C & Heating.
We were given excellent information from their sales rep., Alex. He answered all our questions and concerns and helped us select a unit that would suit our needs since we were also having closed cell foam sprayed into our attic.
Travis and Zack came out to do the install and did they ever work hard. The heat outside was brutal and the attic was that much worse, but they never complained. They worked over 10 hours to get the job done. I had to make them stop and eat.
A few glitches & tweaks required 3 or 4 return visits which were done promptly and to our satisfaction. They even answered a call for help on a Sunday!
We felt we really got our money's worth and hopefully these two improvements will lower our electric bill considerably and see us through our retirement.

Earlier today, I used Yelp's Request an Estimate service in search of a plumber to clear a complicated backup in a multi-unit shared plumbing line. Mind you, it's Sunday, a busy holiday weekend, and a subtropical rain storm has literally just passed through. Daniel responded to my online inquiry and as soon as I called to provide him with additional information, he promptly dispatched Reese, who saved the day here in my condominium!
Reese gave me a call when he was on his way and as soon as he arrived, he assessed the situation and worked so hard to help us clear this clog, keeping me apprised of his progress the entire time. He was conscientious about not dirtying my place, which I greatly appreciated, and he even provided me with his personal/professional opinion about preventing similar drain line backups in the future!
Because of the awesome service I received tonight, I plan to tell my fellow board members about Cornerstone and I hope that we will do business with them again in the future (hopefully for a different reason though, ha!).

We had a flood in our Condo which flooded our electric panel. The power had to be turned off until we got a licensed Electrician out to make sure it was safe to turn back on. As we all know, water and electricity are not a good combination. We found Cornerstone on YELP. Since it was a Holiday weekend, we were forwarded to an after hours message center to schedule the service call. They were prompt and efficient. On the day of the call, we received periodic updates on the technicians location for his ETA. Chris was very professional and was able to service our panel and check out our mechanicals. Pretty affordable call.

The company would not honor the $30 a/c cleaning they advertise on their website. Instead, they wanted to charge me $65! No one at the company knew how much they charged per pound of freon. Even the dispatcher had to call a manager. After pressuring them to find out what their pricing was, I finally got someone to reveal to me that their price per pound was THREE TIMES the going rate!
The only company which won't reveal their pricing until you commit to the work is a shady one which will never get my business.
A/C Tech Rob W. was very knowledgeable and professional and answered all questions without hesitation. Their scheduling staff and employees answering the phone were very courteous. They behave as if they truly want your business and want to do a good job. Overall, excellent experience.
I called and requested a plumber service since two of Kohler toilets water never stop running. In 2022 I had same problem in the other toilets, because I have 5 bathrooms. I told them exactly the same in detail, in 2022 my friend replaced the Kohler toilet valve kit I bought from local Home depot for about $20.00. Now the valve kit goes for retail $21.97 + Tax. In short: the needed parts less $40.00 because they would get the whole sale price. Anyway, the dispatched plumber asks us for $500.00 after he applied some sort of discount. After we found the price highly unacceptable, of course, we refused the service. Then we had pay $39.95 for their service call. However, if the person who answered the phone would tell me their price, after I told her what we needed to be done. After all, I could buy two new complete Kohler toilets for less than $500'00.
Very responsive & technician knew what he was doing. Enrolled in the monthly service plan.
I must say I was very impressed with this company. After a long day out shopping and showing the Tampa area to out of town friends, we arrived home around 6:45 pm to a rather warm house. I turned down the A/C but the air was warm. We checked out side and the fan was not working. We typically call another company, but the last time the charge was a bit high and we had to wait 2 days for a part to arrive. This time I checked in Yelp. I went with cornerstone because of the previous review. Took a chance and went for it, we called around 7 pm and was told to expect service between 8 and 11 pm. Approximately an half hour later we received a call saying their were on their way. The technician arrived ( his name was Chris) and got to work, a few minutes later the a/c was up and running. He explained we needed a part to ensure the blow up would not happen again, but we did not feel pressured to purchase it from him. He had a laminated price list, which I thought was really cool and I certainly did not think I was taking advantage of even for being a Saturday evening. I will absolutely call them again. The charge was very reasonable, I was expecting a higher cost then what I was changed for being Saturday evening and raining. thanks Chris, you were very nice, friendly and fast. With a house full of family guests in for the weekend, a/c was important. Good job...
Very disappointed in this company! All was going well until the actual work began. after installing $400.00 of Freon I was advised that the coils have a leak. I was told how much a new ac unit would cost and how much a replacement coil would cost. The unit NEVER DID COOL! The tech left...I contacted a different provider and they found the leak in a copper tube; welded it, added 4 lbs. of Freon, and had my unit cooling in approximately 2 hours. All for $575.00!!!

My expensive of a plumber charging a consultant fee, usually has been VERY expensive. A plumber should know how much it would cost to change out a toilet, even with additions parts needed.
Only 1 star because I had to mark it. This really should have a -5 stars. I called Friday night looking for a plumber because my tub would not drain. I called and asked if they offered after hours service, was told yes not a problem. About 45 mins later the plumber arrives pissed off because he has to come over. He walked in smelling of cigarettes and was just irritated to be there. I told him what had happened and of course he started making rude remarks about using drano. He said the clog was due from 40 years of drano. Which was completely wrong. He was slamming his equipment around and cussing. He continously grunted and sighed because he had to come out. First off he should have stayed home. It was not like I wanted to pay the after prices for no reason....much less pay for some jerk to come and be rude. He said he was unable to unclog the piping and needed to take out my tub in order to figure out the issue. He was so pissed off that he couldn't get is equipment to back in the case. So not only was he insulting he didn't fix the clog. I am very disappointed in his professionalism and will NOT ever use this company again. I had to call another plumber who successfully fixed the issue without distroying my bathroom. A little advice, Mike you may want to look into another profession!
Cornerstone Air and plumbing. Great people from phone call to Curtis the technician. I called with a couple problems 1 a hammering ( water spurting and banging)in the Kitchen faucet. The wife complaining of a bad smell when the a/c was on. Cornerstone discovered somehow the faucet was a almost closed valve. Done. They could have told me anything. They are honest. Curtis showed up to clean the vents, on time , clean, sharp.Done. Smells great.

Highly recommend Jerry. I have called on expert electrician Jerry twice now, as he does excellent work! He goes above and beyond. Also, just a nice guy. Put in an outlet for us and repaired my hall light on his first visit. Second visit he replaced all my outside lights. He cleaned up all the old caulk and replaced the fixtures lighting up my driveway. He also replaced my back patio floodlights with cool LEDs. If you want a guy who knows what he is doing ask for Jerry.

Totally incompetent,called on 8/4 for an A/C service,my appointment was for today8/5 between 8am and 12pm( no show),I call at 1pm to check on arrival time,they have no record of me making appointment,claim they have no service tech named Alan(which was given to me when I made appt.)working there,now they say they're two weeks out on service calls and no one there would have made my appointment.I guess I made it up,I will never call this company again,I'll fix it myself first.Do yourself a favor and avoid a headache,don't use them.I gave them a one,only because Yelp wouldn't post without.
We came home from work to find our house at 88 degrees and the air conditioner blowing out hot air. It turns out the fan motor stopped working, so we called around right away to find someone to come out that night. Luckily, Cornerstone sent Matt out an hour later at 8pm to replace our motor and get cool air flowing again. He was very nice and helpful and we thought the price was reasonable for the repair. Other places said we had to wait until the next morning, but the fact that they came out that night earns them 5 stars!
I've been managing about 30 rentals for over 25 years, and have always found it worthwhile to maintain a win-win relationship with vendors.
Cornerstone seemed like a respectable outfit, based on reviews on Angie's list, so I started dealing with them exclusively in 2013, joining their service club, and purchasing two brand new Heating/A.C. units, a Lennox and a Daikin. I found their technicians to be consistently pleasant and knowledgeable.
Unfortunately, due to a sequence of three unrelated mistakes on their part, we came home to a ruinous flood in March, 2016. Cornerstone was very prompt in bringing in a competent remediation company (although this was extremely disruptive at a very bad time for my family).
The real problem involved the ruined hardwood floor. Because this particular product is no longer available, we accepted the closest match offered. Though it has since proven unsatisfactory, we did agree to it and thus accept that responsibility.
Over the next seven months Cornerstone sent numerous contractors to repair and paint walls, and to replace flooring and trim. Each of these repairs involved additional disruption. There are several remaining areas of damage, but we have not brought it up, preferring to avoid further disruption.
There were several stages in this process where I had to call Cornerstone to get the next task accomplished. I was never abusive, but always polite, as a matter of principle.
In October I received a letter politely informing me that Cornerstone was firing me! There is no signature, no apology for the misery inflicted upon us, just the implication that I have been unreasonable. Furthermore, the company suggested as replacement is not even a Daikin authorized distributor! I've been around long enough to realize that stuff happens, mistakes will occur, etc. (though these three are bordering on incompetence). But it is just such situations which reveal the true character of the parties.
One of our AC units stopped working. Cornerstone came right out and repaired it the same day. Their tech, Jay, couldn't have been more polite and respectful. He put boot covers on every time he entered my home and constantly gave me updates on what he was doing next. He was very professional. We even had Jay come back the next day to install Ultraviolet bulbs in both of our units to sanitize the air flowing through our systems. Before Jay came to our home both days, Cornerstone called to let me know they were on their way. I would highly recommend Cornerstone, they were a pleasure to do business with.

Quick response. Our technicians were really helpful and explained exactly what was wrong and the best way to fix.
I had said originally that I had not heard from them, but I was mistaken and confused them with another electrician. They did in fact contact me after my inquiry. I chose not to pay them $39 for an estimate as I feel that an estimate should be no charge. It does not seem right to pay someone for the opportunity to earn your business. Before you have ever even talked to them. That is my opinion and I respectfully moved on.
I don't usually leave reviews but I felt Cornerstone deserved one. Our air went out on a Sunday and not only did cornerstone come out quickly they charged less than all the other ac companies on a Sunday. The technician spent an hour diagnosing the problem and even though he could not fix the problem (bad coil) he was able to get us cooling. Coils werenon back order and when our ac went down again another technician came out quickly and got us going again. As soon as the coil came in they got us up and running even though their own office did not have power due to Hurricane Irma. Every technician that came out was polite professional and friendly. Cannot recommend this company enough!!!!!

I had a coupon with tune up for $39 value (1 lbs freon free included if freon was low). When he comes up, freon was low and there was chance of leak. So he made it service call as it was low in freon and AC was not working well according to him, and further the leak detection was chargeable to $198 + freon (chargeable for all)+ fixing it (unknown price).
Now coupn says if low on freon in AC tune up and technician says service call if low in freon and then makes it a leak detection. So 3 star. As it seems complicated to me.
Tune up means clean up drain lines, check for any leak and that all parts of AC are working fine. But only got freon checked in service call/ tune up but paid for all as coupn was waste.
We just got freon added and AC is running well.
I m not prepared to pay for leak detection and fixing as AC was checked 6 months back by AAA airwaves and 2 lbs freon was added too (Sept.) when they came to see AC stopped (coz of ice). So 99% chances last company cheated on us. I have had experience with 3 companies so far and just end paying much more everytime and worst part is AC is 2014 built. I need recommendation on right AC company.
We've used Cornerstone for a number of years now but will not be calling them back. We have a warranty on our ac for parts but the charge for labor has skyrocketed. Our last bill was $799 dollars for just a couple of hours of labor. When I called the office to ask what the hourly charge is, she told me it was up to the technician. Then she said she would have someone get back with me, that was three days ago and still no phone call. All I can say is Goodbye Cornerstone

I called Cornerstone based on the reviews on yelp.
I had a ac balancing issue I needed help with.
The first two people I spoke with all said the company could help fix the air balancing issue and went into details as to how they would address the issue.
I then set up an appointment with the scheduler and then reconfirmed what the tech would do on the service visit. After being put on hold for a few minutes, I was then told they did not do air rebalancing for new customers. Wasted 20 minutes of my time.
TERRIBLE company. The last 2 times that they've come out for our scheduled maintenance that came with our service plan, our a/c has stopped working properly IMMEDIATELY after they leave. This time, the technician told us that because we've had work done by another company (an honest family friend who doesn't charge SO much) they wouldn't be able to honor a warranty on parts (not that I expected them to...) but our a/c stopped blowing cold air as soon as he left. My husband called to tell them that our a/c stopped working directly following the maintenance call and she said that the technician would come back out, but if it was determined that the malfunction was due to the previous company's work then they would have to charge us a service fee. ARE YOU SERIOUS????? Your technician left my house an hour and a half ago!! Clearly it was because of something he did. Such a lousy dishonest company. Whether I have to pay the service fee or not I will not even bother with the rest of our service agreement. I'm NEVER doing business with this company again.

I requested a quote for a AC duct replacement and given an appointment VIA text message.
Come the day of the appointment I did not hear from anyone and when I called I was told my appointment had been cancelled without any reason or notification. If this is who they are from the beginning, I would not want to deal with them even for the most simple thing. Cornerstone Pros ... I will line the bottom of my cat litter box with your advertisements from now on. Good luck
UPDATE: AS OF 8/11 I HAD ANOTHER COMPANY COME OUT AND LOW AND BEHOLD I DIDN'T NEED THE REPAIRS THAT THE BELOW SAID I NEEDED. I WAS LOW LESS THAN A POUND OF FREON THAT WAS IT! I DO NOT RECOMMEND CORNERSTONE OR THEIR TECHS!
First time here and was so not pleased at all, the tech was as much as a word I want to use is not appropriate so we will leave it as rude as the manager was as well! My system is only 3 years old they are trying to tell
I need over 1000 dollars worth of work done to it and that is just labor the parts are under warranty! I got a second opinion on it and was downright belittled by the tech for getting a second opinion you have to understand you're telling me I need this work done on a 3-year-old system! Then the tech tried to tell me and argued with me about me being the original homeowner! The attitude was not appropriate or appreciated at all! Was told not to get a second opinion that I needed to stick to one company then got yelled at cause my neighbor flushed the line for us due to having to wait for them to come out! we had to get it up and running for the time period! my first-time experience was not good I don't appreciate the attitude of both the manager and the tech who came out! Empathy goes a long way and this company doesn't have that! Now I'm stuck in their monthly service contract cause I thought they were a good place to do business with now I can see why they have a cheap monthly contract they want to hook people and for them to be stuck! The way I was spoken to by the manager and the tech was right and someone shouldn't be belittled cause they get a second opinion

Called Cornerstone one morning about strange electrical problems going on in my house. They had someone out here in less than an hour and a half. They tracked down the problem and fixed it in no time at all. Terry was a super nice guy and knowledgeable. I signed up for their AC, electric, and plumbing annual contract because it seems like a really good deal. I would like to add that their price for coming to my house and checking all of my electrical stuff was very reasonable. I highly recommend them and will use them for all my future needs in their areas of expertise.
Once again this company has proven themselves to be honest, trustworthy and professional. Making an appointment was easy and the operator was professional. The technician showed up on time, was very professional and was able to fix the problem in under an hour. He didn't try to sell us anything expensive or exaggerate the problem. Fortunately for us it was a small issue which was resolved quickly. This company may be a little expensive but it is worth it for the piece of mind knowing that they did things right.
Start by saying they are very nice people! But... I couldn't get even a ballpark price for the work I needed. Even after I called several times. I had a kitchen sink, faucet, and garbage disposal to be installed. I had to pay them to come give me an estimate. If I would have got an idea of the price, it would have saved them time and me money. Their quote was very very high and I could not use them. But again, everyone was friendly and they did show up, so that means something! I wish it just didn't cost me $60 bucks just to meet them!
Had Cornerstone come out to The Villages to check our furnace for the winter. Discovered the aged furnace was quite old. Was quoted a price to bring it up to par but decided that because of its age we would be better to purchase a new one instead of putting more money into an OLD unit (17 yrs ). Pricing VERY fair.
Best decision we made. Very happy with price/service. Punctual/professional and courteous.

My five ton, $6,000 system failed county inspection. after multiple calls to get them to come back out, I was told it would be scheduled for Friday, June 23. i even got a conformation text the night before. No call, no show today. when I called they said I was only tentatively scheduled, and they had no technician. They pretend they had no idea what I was talking about when I said I had a confirmation text and a call from Becky, their scheduler. Good luck using these people.

Outstanding professionalism. We 1st used them when one of our A/C units froze up on July 4th. They were prompt, offered a detailed breakdown of what the issue was, and what options to consider with the prices of each.
We called them again when we had a clogged drain at Christmas (it always happens on the holidays!) when a manual snake wouldn't clear it. We had them come out on the 26th. They gave a time estimate, then called back to say they were running ahead of schedule and wanted to make sure it was OK to arrive early.
Jerry was the tech who came out, and we were so impressed with them again on this 2nd visit we had them also look at replacing our aging hot water heater. Again we were given multiple options (with pricing) and invited to check around to see if it was a fair price. We did and it was. Despite it being what is in effect a holiday week between Christmas and New Year's the new water heater was installed in a custom location we had wanted, on budget in less that 48 hours after we gave the OK to do the work.
Highly recommended for any plumbing, or A/C needs.
I needed a new chandelier installed in my dining room. Terry arrived on time to give me a quote. I loved the price and the fact that he could do the install immediately. He finished in under an hour and the chandelier looks great. I'd call Cornerstone again for any future electrical work.
Nice work replacing a leaking coil in our air handler; efficient and very effective. Top notch professional job performed by Scott and a day or so earlier Matt. Cornerstone is a great company to do business with in my opinion.

Not sure a jack of all trades can be the master of your issue. Had him out to evaluate the AC over summer of 2016 as I wanted to replace it. While measuring voltage, he blew the transformer that supplies power to the interior thermostat. BIG shower of sparks, except July 4th was last week. Then started denying it. Said he had to go to the shop get another (10:1 stepping xfmer and AC guy does not have one?) and left.
I probably should have complained, but the next guy I had came in far more competitive than any of the other 4 and had also done my mom's home, so I just moved on. He also replaced the transformer for no cost.
Perhaps their other techs are better, but don't deny issues to someone who is familiar with HVAC.

We used Cornerstone in October 2014, we thought the service was okaty, but the price seemed high. They told us we had a leak in one unit and would need to think of purchasing a new unit. I referred them to my parents house, since they were also having AC issues. They immediately told them she needed a new unit, and charged them over 400 dollars for being there 30 minutes. Their unit is working fine and had another AC company come out and tell them they do NOT need a new unit at all. We recently needed our AC unit serviced ad called a local company to come out. We realized that Cornerstone charged us 5X more for freon than a local AC company. THEY ARE CROOKS!

Overcharged me for service and I believe they are being dishonest regarding the charges. My air pump unit outside was making a loud noise which is less than 2 years old. Called Cornerstone and asked if they do warranty work which they said they did. Scheduled appointment. When they showed up, immediately the service guy determined I had a bad contactor which needed to be replaced. He told me at the time was $198.00 for the part and $69.00 for the service fee. Asked about the warranty and he advised that the unit is under warranty but the part would still cost $198.00. Even when these items are under warranty, he said you still have to pay to stock it back with the company and that $198.00 was my warranty price. I went ahead with the service but thought I would follow up with Trane (which is the brand of my air conditioning unit) to confirm later. The next day Tiffany from Cornerstone called to ask about my service which I advised that the service was good but couldn't understand the price since it should have been covered under warranty. She said she would check into it and call me back. When she called me back, she said that it was a wear and tear item and that is why it wouldn't be covered under warranty. A few days later, I called Trane, they said that the part was covered under warranty that a warranty was not submitted for my part and that other than labor, I shouldn't have to pay for anything. Called Cornerstone back and advised what Trane said who they advised again that they would look into it and call me back. When they called back, they admitted that the part was covered under warranty but what the cost was for labor. $69.00 was the initial diagnostics and $198.00 was for the labor of replacing the part. I told them that this was an outrageous price for labor. The service guy was here for about 15 minutes replacing the part and 10 minutes talking with me. Even when you look at the bill that I have, it shows $69.00 for diagnostic and $198.00 for the Contactor. If this be the case, they are charging about $534.00 an hour for labor.

I had Gary C. come over for a clogged sink and garbage disposal. Cleared my problem with no issues. Quick, friendly service and very knowledgeable. I'd call and request him again but hopefully I don't have to.
Having your AC unit break down in 90 degree weather in Florida is probably the worst thing that can happen. We were serviced by another local company after our AC broke and found out our compressor went out on our 11 year old unit! They gave us a quote of either $5700 or $9700! This was 6:30 in the evening. We suffered through one night unforgiving heat and called several other companies in the morning to get several more bids. We were fortunate enough to get a hold of Miguel and we got a great quote and he said we could have it installed that afternoon! Thank God! The two young men were professional and did a great job and we had air that evening. We are happy campers :)
Responded quickly, responded on time. Work was done professionally and courteously. Very happy with everything from start to finish.
Customer service is huge for me, and I was really impressed by this company. Both of my AC units went out on the same day (when a different company was performing maintenance). I was scrambling to get quotes and get the install done. Everyone I talked to was friendly and helped me as best they could. I felt like everyone really cared. Matt did the quote and was so knowledgeable and friendly. T.J and John R. were the installers and they were considerate and kind, and ensured everything worked properly.
The brand was not one I was familiar with, but I came to learn that was just in the US, and that they were huge globally. I was able to get better functionality than if I had gone with another provider's Trane units. We have now had the units for a month and they are so quiet, and are definitely cooling just fine.
The one suggestion I would make to you, if you need a loaner unit, ask them to give/put in the ventilation duct. The person who delivered it may have just forgotten this.
Overall, excellent experience, and I plan to use them for my future AC needs.
Phenomenal experience. Serviced our first home with a/c work, and plumbing over the years. Turned it into a rental and they've been keeping up the maintenance for the past two years. All the staff I've encountered has been knowledgeable and courteous. Always give fair pricing and discounts to club members/ long term clients. Never had to question or worry about the quality of work and we live in another state away from the property. Professional, timely, work done right the first time around. Listed as my vendor with our property management company. Nope their not cheap but neither is their quality of work/ service. You get what you pay for! Extremely trustworthy and Highly recommended.
Showed up in time! Great start! With little delay the tech asked me what the issue was. The tech started messing with my a/c looking for the issue. (Even made a joke at a previous companies attempt at fixing my a/c). The tech found mold in my system -which I had suspicion of but other companies had shrugged it off- and got to work cleaning the lines and getting rid of the mold. Installed a uv light to prevent mold growth too. I paid more than I wanted too, but I also wanted to have a working a/c in my house. Let's see how it works, if all is good in a few days I may sign up for the maintenance package.
