Backed up sink after New Years Eve, and stuff I was buying At Lowe's or Home Depot was not working. I needed my sink & kitchen back. After 2 days of me trying to fix it I finally gave in and called a professional. Andre's Pro Plumbing responded to my distress call and showed up the very next morning. Very professional, very informative, showed me what the problem was and Very reasonable. Having A plumbing problem didn't create a financial problem. I'm going to update this review because the real issue here was the wrong device sold to us for the city that we live in. We found out that the water in our city has chloramine, with that said the product sold to us was to remove chloride which in other cities that's the norm. By having a system that only removes chloride it breaks the chloramine, leaving the ammonia in the water. The product would have worked perfect in a place where the water only has chloride but it was more harm than good for a place that has chloramine. That is the reason our hair started to fall out in chunks and had dry skin. I suggest that moving forward you do a thorough research of the area before selling the product, to ensure this doesn't happen to someone else.

We're selling our house and the inspection came back with an item we agreed to take care of - the hot & cold lines in a bathtub were reversed. Because of the great reviews, I called Gilbert. He was really nice, asked what kind of faucet it was and brand. He then told me it wasn't a difficult fix and told me how to do it.

I told my husband and he wasn't comfortable doing the work. And we thought our buyers would appreciate it being done by a professional (and correctly) so I called Gilbert back and asked when he might be able to come do it. I felt bad because it seemed like a silly job for him to have to waste time to come out for. But he was so nice. He was on a job in Round Rock and said he'd stop by (I live in Cedar Park) when he was finished. Within 2 hours he was at my house.

He began working and realized there was a bit more involved than first thought but he still had it corrected within 30 minutes. The price was very reasonable.

Josh from Mr. Rooter came out promptly when I had a busted shower valve that forced the water to stay on and prompted me to shut off water to the entire house. He was thorough and efficient in providing an analysis of the problem and conveying it in an understandable manner.

I was back up and running quickly and the valve works better than I ever remember it working.

It's worth noting that although Josh operates as Mr. Rooter, he's still a local business that is 100% Veteran owned and a native of the area. This is the only guy I'll ever call for my plumbing needs in the future.

I went on yelp to look for assistance with my tub spout issues... it's stop working.   That's the diverter that changes the water from the tub to shower.
I looked at several people and companies but chose GUARANTEE PLUMBING & A/C they came and assessed the situation for $39 which they will apply to the overall cost ... (if you continue to use them).

They came in assessed what items they needed .. left to get the materials, returned promptly and replaced it and was out in less than 15 minutes. (yay)

The technicians were friendly and courteous.
They were mindful of the CDC requirements.
In addition, I had a toilet seat that needed tightening and they tighten it for me.
I just want to give them a YELP and say you can use them I think that they will do you right with your plumbing and air-conditioning needs.

In keeping with being transparent at first I was a little bit skeptical because I had read a couple of reviews that were negative about this company however,  I forged ahead and received positive results. I am sure you will as well. :)

I made an appointment to have a leak repaired. On the day of the appointment I noticed the leak wasn't there anymore so I texted the gentleman I had been texting the entire time to set up the appointment to cancel. He instructed me that next time I should call instead of text because his technician was already at my residence (He wasn't) and that's how they keep costs down. Well he had already estimated the repair to be $175 without even knowing what was wrong. These people are money hungry. He sent me an invoice. I guess I will put it in the neighbors mailbox.

The technicians are friendly. However, the technicians are very well trained to make customers believe blooming a couple hundred-dollar repair into thousands of dollars large repair is a better option. The technician tried to steer customer away from a simple repair, by convincing customer an over-haul will solve all current and future issues. No doubt, this large repair will cost almost $10K. Small repair is certainly not as profitable as a big repair; it is apparent this company prioritizes their interest over customer's.

Came across a small water leak on the main line coming into the house...I was happy to see that Jamie lives in my neighborhood, I mean...how much more local can you get...He showed up in about 30 minutes, gave me what I thought was a very fair quote and got to work...job was wrapped up in about 4-5 hours and was please with the whole process...Looks like we have a new Plumber that I wouldnt hesitate to call for my needs.

Great company to work with! Had a leak under the slab last week. I called a different company to come stop the leak...which they did. Then came the quote for them to run a new hot water line. I ended up calling Big City which quoted me literally HALF of what the other company quoted. Big City sent 2 guys out to run the new line. They talked me through everything they were going to do and did a perfect job! They were also hard workers. When someone is charging you by the hour, you don't want a team that comes out and jokes around the whole time...which the original guys from the other company did. Hopefully I won't need anymore plumbing work done (unless I'm remodeling), but if I do I will be calling Big City Plumbing again. Thanks again guys!!!

Purchased a water heater 6/2011.  It leaked 1 hour after they installed it.  They sent a person out to fix it under warranty 3 hours later.  At the time I did not notice that they had also NOT installed the venting system correctly.  The vent stack was NOT attached to the water heater nor connected to the Vent stack.  The gases and CO2 where being exhausted into the water heater closet.  on 10/2011 I noticed that the vent pipe was not attached to anything and called for repair.  The person who came out said i didn't want to do this for free.  He did not fix the problem and when I pointed out to him that there was still a hole in the vent stack, he said NO there isn't, that's the way it's supposed to be and that's as good as it's going to get!  If you want it fixed better you will have to call Monday and have the guy who installed it come out, that's his job  Gases and CO2 still leaking into the closet.  I have called the city to come out and inspect this work.  They follow ZERO of their customer service creeds.   Would NEVER use them again.

This company is full of crap!!! I've been waiting a month for one of their plumbers to come out and the day of the service I get a call saying that the service I ordered is not one they provide. REALLY???? What the hell!!! If it's not a service you provide then don't keep me waiting for a month! Don't trust these people! Do yourself a favor and go with another company!

During the snow storm of 2021 a water pipe busted in my home. I called Roto-Rooter on a Monday and pleasantly found they were scheduling me for the next day.  Winter conditions continued and no show.  I called them at the end of the day and was told all scheduled appointments were moved to next day.  Next day no show, no call.  It's Friday and still no show, but what disturbs me most is no notice this whole time.  I only heard from them once and that's bc I called them.  Luckily my neighbor called A.L. Plumbing and after talking to their plumber he squeezed me in right there on the spot and fixed my problem.  A.L. Plumbing, 210-269-6346.  

I can't speak to R-Rs quality of service, but I can speak to their disregard for customer notification, time, and general courtesy.
