Alex with Ducks takes service to the next level. He listens, educates, and does amazing work. As a Realtor I've had run into plenty of service techs. Alex really really impressed me from arriving early, to explaining the service he was about to perform, all the while he explained what he discovered as he continued through his process. When his sewer inspection was over, not only did myself and the client understand all the options we were educated about the process, and felt like he had answered all the questions before we had any. What really set his service into the exceptional realm for me was, we had a few other minor issues that perplexed us with the home and Alex was able to fix one in a moment, and the others he explained the issue and would be willing to take of them no problem when the work began, and the only reason be didn't at the moment was he came for an inspection and the tool he needed was not on this particular truck. This is a long overdue review. My landlord called Abe Lincoln about a year ago to fix a clogged pipe that was causing some water to back up. They arrived promptly and was able to snake out the drain within an hour and even charged me less than quoted because the clog was so easy to fix!

I honestly dislike leaving bad reviews on a Tradesman, and especially a local Tradesman... However, last year around this time I had Doug come out because my lower level addition toilet was backing up.   I showed him the cleanout for the toilet on the exterior wall and asked him if a 4 pipe that was at grade level with no cleanout cap was possibly the main cleanout?  I didn't know because there wasn't the standard cleanout cap and I wasn't a part of my homes remodel before we bought the home 6 years ago.  I was told by Doug that it wasn't the Main Cleanout and he was not sure what it was, even though it was 4 black pipe and inline with the city sewer tap and the side exterior of the house.  Doug decided to snake a camera down the 3 line through the 2 exterior wall cleanout from the toilet at the lower level.  He then used a signal device to tell me that my mainline had a belly in it and was causing the backup.  He said he would have to trench the entire old line and replace it with a new one for $5000 or dig where the belly was and splice  in a cleanout for less?  I said is it possible that I had some tree roots issues instead?  I had just cut down 2 40' hackberry trees from my front yard and one was about 5' from the mainline.  He said no?  He charged me $130 for the 30 minutes and left.  I got ripped off and here's why!  I ended going to HD and renting a 100' 5/8 snake and removed my toilet from my original bathroom that I know was tied into the main sewer line.  I rootered it myself for a couple hours and bore through a bunch of roots which eliminated my backup!  1 year later the problem reappeared, only this time I saw the sewage bubbling up from the 4 pipe that I was told was not my main cleanout!!!  So back to Home Depot and re snaked, all good again and I now have a cleanout with cap installed on the 4 pipe, so if I ever call Doug again...He will know right where to go?! Sheesh...maybe a little effort next time to help a neighbor out!  Tip: These State Street West Sac Homes in your neighborhood have similar plumbing.

The reviews you read about Ata are 100% true.   Ata is honest, reliable, and does great affordable work.   It made the whole process a pleasure.   He is old school and thorough.  I have been burned by other tradesmen, not so with Ata.  My only go to plumber from this point forward.   In addition, he is a thoroughly decent human being.   Thank you Ata, Steve Booth.

Crayne Const.,recently repainted,  all of the wood exterior of our Land Park home,  Ranch Acres-color.  They also repainted the Corbels, and the Wrought Iron Gates which were Expresso Brown in color.

Sam is the real deal! I've hired Sam multiple times over the last few months for my home and rentals and have been very happy with the quality of his work, and has quickly become my go to plumber. On top of the 10/10 work Sam is a very strong communicator (always picks up and keeps me updated during projects when I'm away),  courteous (for example, wiped my tub clean after replacing my tub spout), fairly priced, and is willing to work at what seems like any hour if there's an emergency. Last week I had one pipe burst and another leak at the same time at a rental, and Sam worked until 9:30pm that same night to correctly fix them.

I needed a plumber to repair my sad attempt at installing a garbage disposal. After calling others who were backlogged for two weeks, I called Mac's. The receptionist was kind and expressed an understanding of my embarrassing predicament. She scheduled a repair for 8:00 a.m. the following morning.

Isaac arrived, was clean and efficient, and fixed my dripping garbage disposal without breaking a sweat. He was professional and knowledgeable.

When a plumbing, air conditioning, or heating challenge raises its ugly head, I will call Mac's first for an affordable and quality repair!

I contacted John regarding some ongoing plumbing issues, he was very responsive, professional and his quotes were very reasonable. He told me exactly what I needed and did not try to over sell. All plumbing issues were resolved and his work was top notch quality. I would highly recommend John for any plumbing needs.

Randy Fowler came to our home to repair a leaking shower and charged $150.00 we payed Randy.  The part he used started to leak in 2 weeks. When we called him back and he wanted $90 to replace part he installed less than two weeks prior.  When talking to him the first time he seemed very nice and honest.  It's sad we can't trust repair people in our own community. :-)

I have used Bell Bros. in the past for drain clearing because the are good at it and only charge 87.00. Our service man Scott was fantastic. He explained everything before he started and completed the job really fast and even showed us the glob of hair he got out of the pipe. He snaked in about 10 feet to unclog the bathroom drain. He was very nice, friendly and a big asset to the Bell Team of PROS. Remember Bell for your drain problems, they get the pipes cleared and flowing. They also wear Booties and masks for a clean safe environment.  Thanks again for a job WELL DONE.
