Our headaches began, when we trusted the reviews on YELP. We hired Trevor to handle as much remodeling as he was qualified to handle. That was a mistake. Trevor has just  enough knowledge to  appear as though he is qualified. Almost everything he touched in a 3 month span has cost us money to  be fixed by a professional. He completely disassembled our HVAC for a repair. That fix cost me appx $7k, as I had to hire an HVAC contractor to fix both of  his HVAC jobs that he totally jacked. His bathroom remodel left sewer drains dumping into our sub floor vs. correctly tie in to sewer lane. His electrical work all  has to  be corrected and put ip  to code. I am still having those issue resolved almost 3 months later. I consider myself lucky, he did not burn either of the properties down to the  ground!

Trevor always seemed to be hurting for money. Always  wanted to be paid before the jobs finished or inspected. Serious red flags!

God help anyone risking their property on his work product. I'm up to almost $10k getting his work fixed.

This was my first time connecting with a plumber via Yelp and I could not be more pleased!  Luke arrived a few minutes early, which I really like.  The work was done quickly and the result was a flawless repair.  I really appreciate owner run businesses, they take great pride in their work and go the extra mile.  Ohnstad Pluming is now my go to plumber.  Highly recommend you use him for your plumbing needs and, yes, the 530 area code is correct. :)

A guest staying at my condo clogged the kitchen sink. I called/emailed 3 plumber in the morning. Later that morning, John was the first (and only) one to call me back. He was busy, however found time to unclog the sink that afternoon. Good work!

This plumber came to fix my parent's sink. They went on and on about how responsive, on-time, quick, and professional this plumbing company was. Both were friendly and professional, and they got the job done. Would recommend!

I first called them for a leak in my bathtub. They came fix the problem and try to charge me for 1.5 hour while the worker was in my house 30 minutes.
6 weeks later the bathtub was leaking again. I called them back so the same plumber can fix it once and for good. Not only I had to pay for it but I was charged AGAIN for 1.5 hour + other cost for a total of $230. They are lying about the amount of time spent and adding as much extra as possible. Not to mention that the problem should have been fixed from the very first time!
Please, find a hon nest company who is not trying to take advantage of you!

We were connected with Friendly Plumbing through our home warranty, Fidelity. Our water heater went out Wednesday morning (yay, while it's been snowing) and the soonest they could have someone out was Friday. We made the appointment and Carlos showed up during the 3-5 timeframe. Long story short, we had to replace the water heater. We decided to pay overtime for Carlos to come out on Sunday to replace it instead of waiting for sometime during the week. At this point, we're going on day 5 of no hot water. No fun! Carlos was friendly and got the job done. Julie, the dispatcher, was also friendly and tried to make everything as easy as possible for us! She communicated with Fidelity and was helpful through the entire process. (Fidelity on the other hand was a pain in the a**). Would definitely recommend Friendly Plumbing!

A-1 Plumbing is an unethical business that overcharges its customers. I was referred to them to repair a leaky toilet water connection (from the water outlet on the wall to the toilet tank). Their repairman Roger decided to replace the fill valve inside the tank (which was unnecessary) in addition to the leaking external flex tubing. He charged $370.00, $185.00 for the fill valve (Lowe's price $18.48) and $185.00 for the 20 minutes of installation. Potential customers should be aware of this fraudulent business.

I was in a real pinch for the holiday's while visiting my inlaws and John was very receptive and helpful by coming over right away. We had them perform a variety of services over the past few months and we've been very happy with the price and the overall end result.  Thanks John!

$320 for a five minute job. Although told the plumber that the clogged pipe has been serviced before, he claimed it must be a very difficult job, a hard clog near the sewer main. But when it turned out to be just as I mentioned, an easy fix right at the already-open garage clean out, the price didn't change. Way over charged for the service. It was half that a year prior. Then they respond to my previous review with a request to email them with details.  I did, and now more than a week later they didn't respond.  Lowering score from two stars to one star to reflect that their customer satisfaction response is merely an effort to look better on Yelp.

These guys are the best. Fixed my problem quickly, didn't charge an arm and a leg, and I will be requesting Rod as my technician everytime. It appears he knows how to fix anything, and I've worked with a lot of plumbers. I will be using preferred plumbing and drain solely as my vendor for my rental moving forward as I have gotten let down my many of the bigger Companies in the past

Had a new garbage disposal to install...CNC was recommended by another business in Fernley that has excellent service. So I tried calling CNC 3 or 4 times with no answer, so I left 2 messages at 2 different numbers and no return call after 24 hours. Guess they make more money than they need.

Had to call a company out of Sparks to come do the work!
