Best Plumbing Repair in Reno NV
First of all, my mistake I thought I was calling Allen Plumbing and asked for Lamont. Wallace answered, said this is Wallace and asked what did I need. Not super friendly. I had a weird feeling and should have checked the phone number right then, but I thought maybe this was a family business. This proved not to be the case. I had explained the scope of my work and we agreed on a time to meet early on a week day.
Wallace showed up 1/2 hour early. I was not ready. Like most people my mornings are hectic, and I felt this was very unprofessional. Wallace took a look at my job and threw out a couple of prices for each section of the job. I was a little shocked at the quote, feeling it might be high for some of the work, and confused as to what the actual cost would be. I indicated I was going to get a couple of quotes and asked if he would give me a written quote. He said I should get a couple of quotes, and then said he didn't care if I called him or not. Really?!
Through out my dealings with Wallace I felt he was arrogant and condescending. Wallace will not be doing any work in my home.

John of Bertani can out to our home on a Saturday afternoon to provide us with expert advice on what should be done to correct an isssue with a shower stall that was leaking. He was very clear as to how the problem would be correct and shared many tips as to how it could be done in an economical way and still maintaining a high level of quality. He listened to our issues and provide a well thought out solution. We would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a exceptional plumber

I am not mechanically inclined and had a kitchen faucet issue. I called and they offered advise on how I can do myself. I tried but no luck so I called back and he was here in 10 minutes. Not only was he professional and wearing a mask he was nice. . He assessed problem and realize he needed a tool from his van. He had it fixed pretty quickly and was fair in price. I will use them again if I have any future plumbing issues. Highly recommend

GPI preys on non-resident owners. $1300 to RandR a hot water heater. I think not.

I use Squire Enterprises for my home and business. They always take care of business. The owner Warren is very knowledgeable about his industry. Great local company!

Quick service and response time. They were very apathetic to our plight of having a new born and a broken water pipe in our laundry room. We've already set up for future services with them after this experience.

I have been a Realtor in the Reno/Sparks area for three decades. I am always in need of a good plumbing and HVAC contractor. For the last few years I have been using Gibson Plumbing and Mechanical. They have been doing a great job for me, and all my clients. I highly recommend Cary, the owner, and his staff, you won't be disappointed.

Don't bother wasting your time. I have never given any business a bad review. I guess there is always a first. River City Plumbing (and whatever the name of the landscaping company is that is on the answering machine) along with Douglas earned this review. Douglas didn' my phone messages return numerous times and his plumbing employee Johnny never did. (But Nico the job estimator was a lovely person!) After getting an estimate from Nico I bought the sink they told me too. They send out Johnny (who SHOULD have known to check the sink before removing the old sink but didn't) and he takes out the old sink, determines the new sink is incorrect and then puts back the old sink and leaves. I am called and told to buy a different sink - which I did and 2 others that are close in size to the original sink to be sure they have a selection - I call to set up the repair and again no immediate return calls. Finally Douglas calls to say they are not doing the repairs because they weren't making enough $$ - really $350.00 to change a small bathroom sink. Ok - I get it - you got bigger jobs ($$$) to do. That said, your customer service stinks. I wish good luck to the other people who try to use your services.

Craig responded to me right away and was able to send one of his crew members out quickly vs several weeks as other companies had told me. One of Craig's men, Brad, showed up on time in a snow storm and got everything fixed up quickly. Very professional service.

I have used Young Handyman Services several time for my building in Citrus Heights and Rocklin. He did some building maintenance and light installs for me. Reasonably priced and would use again. Thanks Trevor!

This was my first time connecting with a plumber via Yelp and I could not be more pleased! Luke arrived a few minutes early, which I really like. The work was done quickly and the result was a flawless repair. I really appreciate owner run businesses, they take great pride in their work and go the extra mile. Ohnstad Pluming is now my go to plumber. Highly recommend you use him for your plumbing needs and, yes, the 530 area code is correct. :)

John was great. Ultimately he did not provide any plumbing services for our house, but he did spend over 10 minutes with me on the phone talking through all the various potential issues and the various options I could choose. He even had a recommendation to do it myself if I didn't want to have to pay a plumber! Imagine that, an honest business man suggesting something that could take business from himself! He did recommend me to go with another plumbing company, which turned out to be a fantastic recommendation (see my other plumber reviews for details).
John also did offer for me to call him back if no one else could answer my call and fix my issue.
John is a true professional. Thank you very much!

I appreciate the service guys wearing their masks at all times. They always show up on time and do a phenomenal service. My issue is not with the service members but with the administration lady. Not sure what her name is, or if there's more than one but there's always one lady who always has an attitude any time I call, whether is to request a new service or to ask questions about their billing or even the service. For example today, two guys came to fix a couple of faucets and unfortunately one of them forgot to tighten up the outside faucet because it was still leaking. I called Jet plumbing to let them know about what was happening, and Robin, i believe that was her name, started getting annoyed by when I couldn't say the exact plumbing terminology. I explained to her at the beginning of the conversation that they had just come earlier today to fix it and it was still leaking. She kept saying that she couldn't understand what I was talking about since there were many orders. Then she asked me to call the plumber directly, in my mind I thought why should I do that when I initially called you to get the services done, you didn't have me call the plumber, right? But I kept my cool and said ok. So i called one of their sevice guys and he immediately came and tightened it up, he was great and polite, unlike the lady who I had just spoken to. It's funny how they change their attitudes when they are first contracted but as soon as you want to do some follow up questions or have them come back and fix what they forgot to do, administration ( Robin) gets attitude.

This is by far the best plumbing service I have ever had do work fo me! Jay is truely a professional who cares about his work and cares about the people he serves. Never have I had such a positive experience in nearly 50 years' working with the building and construction industries. I beg your indulgence as I relate my story.
I was scheduled for serious spinal surgery in San Francisco on June 3, 2019. Just before we left we had a sewer blockage for the third time in May, 2019. This time it could not be cleared. To my good fortune, another plumber recommended Jay McColl who had the equipment necessary to power through most obstacles. Jay came out to look at the project and give us an idea of the nature of the problem and what it might cost to make the repairs. Knowing that the sewer line was the original, as built in 1939, he explained several likely conditions and proceeded to take a closer look. He advised us that the pipe had rusted through and partially collapsed. He explained several alternatives and recommended pipe replacement because of the visible damage. The project included replacing the existing sewer line (which ran under my concrete garage floor), removing the obstruction in the line and installing additional cleanouts per city code. I authorized him to proceed as may be required and my wife and I left for San Francisco.
Jay got to work and secured permits from the city, arranged equipment and set up the project to move ahead on my return to Reno. I had expected to be gone for a week with the surgery. Little did I know that my wife and I would be gone for seven weeks. My wife took over in my absence and coordinated with Jay to get the work done.
Since my wife knows virtually nothing about construction Jay explained every step in a way she could understand and he helped her make the right decisions. Shortly after commencing the work, Jay ran into a boulder the size of a large coffee table which had crushed the sewer. Being down seven feet below a concrete garage floor the only choice was cut the floor, excavate and remove the boulder. Jay contacted my wife and advised her of the nature of the problem and the fact that the obstacle was likely to be a granite boulder since even heavy equipment could not penetrate the obstruction. Jay advised there was no way around the obstacle and we authorized him to go ahead as necessary. He ended up cutting the concrete floor, excavating to the existing sewer line, verifying the obstacle was a huge granite boulder, and breaking the boulder into small pieces that could be hand carried out of the garage. Again, Jay provided photos as the work progressed. He ran into a second boulder outside the garage and had to repeat the process used (excavate, break up, and remove) excepting the removal of the concrete floor. He and his crew worked many hours and late into the night to finish the work before we returned from San Francisco.
All during the process, Jay and his crew treated us with respect and addressed every concern promptly and completely. When I returned from San Francisco I met with Jay to review the work that had been done and all of the photos he had provided during construction.
Bottom Line: He is the best in the region and I would hire him again in a heartbeat!

Got 3 quotations for the work I needed done. They weren't the cheapest (although pretty close) and they weren't the most expensive.
I had to have an existing bathtub removed and a new whirlpool tub installed. The tub was enclosed by 3 walls, they removed the old tub and installed the new whirlpool tub with NO problems. Nothing was disturbed, the tub sits about 13 inches from the toilet and they never had to remove the toilet which was a God sent ! The drain for the new tub was different from the old tub and they had to do some alterations to the cement floor to accommodate the drain location for the new tub.
Everything was done it one day, they made hardly any mess and what mess they did make was cleaned up by them and you would never know they were there !
Darrin did the majority of the work but when it was time to install the new tub the owner came out to assist. Trust me it wasn't easy to install the new tub on a wet concrete pad they poured, hold the tub up to line up where the new drain had to be and do the drain hook-ups with the toilet constantly in the way.
These guys did a GREAT job and I would recommend them in a minute based on my experience.

We have used them in the past, and have gotten wonderful service. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend them We first contacted them on a Wednesday about an outside water leak; we were told they were booked for the day. We said we understood and asked if we could set an appointment for the following day; we were told to call after 7am and they would take care of it. When we called, no one answered and we left a message; no one called back. We called throughout the day, but no one ever answered the phone. We called this morning, Friday, and were told that someone would be here by 2:30pm. No one showed up; we called to check their arrival time, and we were told to find another plumber because they were too busy to make little repairs. If they had let us know earlier, we could have scheduled someone else before the weekend, but it was much too late.

So it's Sunday, so what could possibly go wrong!
Bath tub and both toilets suddenly not draining properly. Neighbor suggested rapid router, called and within the hour the truck was here and Timothy quickly and professionally determines our situation. Was it fourteen tree roots entangled in our pipes? No, simply a toilet in one bathroom that is quite possibly the same age as our home, built in 1964.
Certainly recommend Rapid Rooter on all levels. Price for a weekend call was more than reasonable and now we have a plumber we would use in the future. May have to request Timothy as he was awesome. Saw others reviews where there were complaints of how the bathrooms were left, not our experience at all so attacked a photo.
