I was not at the home during the service -- but this makes my review even more important to me. I learned about it all from my Aunt who was super impressed with Todd from First Call Plumbing. The sewer backed up to the point where we could not use our appliances and were apprehensive to flush the toilet. My Aunt's regular plumber was on vacation so we had to find someone new.  My Aunt was very skeptical about using someone new, but the smell was unbearable and she had no choice. Calling Todd same day, he was helpful, polite and ensured he fit us in, and on a Saturday, too. In addition to solving the problem, he assisted in clean up. He also did a review of other areas of the home. Pricing was generous -- they only charge OT on a Sunday! Thanks for a great experience, Todd!

The service here is impeccable.  Not only is the service fast and efficient but the friendliness  is what sets this business in a class of its own. Their response time was fast after leaving a message on their voice mail, which I would recommend over filling out an online form. Nothing beats picking up the phone. Matt's response from my call was quick, and diverted a service as promised. I will never refer any other plumber to anyone other than Brown's Plumbing. You won't regret it!

Heard about Bruce from B& J plumbing from a trusted neighbor. So glad I followed up with her recommendation.

Bruce was wonderful to deal with, and was completely honest and very, very helpful. Was able to replace my garbage disposal and get it installed, and also was able to hook up with the copper waterline to my brand-new refrigerator when the delivery men from home depot said they didn't know how to do so. He did all that for under $200 and on my timeline. He's honest and trustworthy and does good work!

Would recommend him to anyone in the Elizabeth and surrounding area!

I have had Sam and Michael out a couple of times. They are always very helpful...they have repaired problems other plumbers said couldn't be fixed without big bucks...and are very nice. I trust their work and their prices are quite reasonable. I'll call them again.

Scott called this morning and was at my house in less than 1/2 hour. He looked at my Koehler Toilet and informed me these toilets are one piece toilets. Trouble is, with a one piece toilet, you have to change the whole toilet to fix the leak inside the toilet. He was very professional, friendly, and recommended several options. We spoke at length about what to do, and I have to say, I was not aware of the problem with Koehler. He made a recommendation to change to a Gerber Viper. While learning, I asked him if they're any charges and He said No!
I will be discussing this with my Wife, and we'll go from there. When we make our decision, we will call Scott again for installation.

Called with a plumbing issue late in the day. They didn't have any room to service us that night but sent someone out first thing the next morning. He came in, was very friendly and knowledgeable, got our issue taken care of and was on his way after we paid our dues (which seemed pretty reasonable.) About a week later, Eric called from the office and had been going over their paperwork. Turns out we'd been inadvertently overcharged, he says, by almost $50... He needed our address to send out a refund. Great business and they'll be keeping ours! Definitely recommend. All around great experience.

This is the 3rd time that I have used Plumber Plus.  Al is the owner and has always been very responsive.  He does great work and his prices are very fair.  Before I started using Plumbers Plus, I was using a corporate chain plumbing outfit.  I had a plumbing emergency a few years ago on a weekend and it would have take 4 hours to get a plumber from the chain ... so I looked in the Yellow pages ... and found Al and have used him ever since.  I am so happy that I made the switch!

I've had this man clean my gutters twice. Very professional. I will call him when I need something done again. Clean vehicle, clean appearance. Doesn't talk down to women.

I know this is a family run business and I try to support those, having had one myself, but I had to give low stars due to a customer service issue.

My 80 years old mother hired this company to come out to fix a clog. It was partially fixed, and I'm fairly sure the part that could not be fixed were due to how poorly the original house was built, my issue however, was that he left the work area covered in feces and waste materials.

Apparently he also didn't move items back from near the area where he was working, and then when he was done he told my mother he's a plumber not a cleaner and left! She was so upset! So my 80 year old mom was in the basement trying to safely clean up bathroom waste that was all over her floor.

I live far away so I have to hope that local businesses are fair and don't cheat her. We have had that issue previously. This business definitely should make it clear before they start working that they will not clean up the poop they may get all over the floor. Something they should definitely make elderly customers aware of. Plus, it unhygienic. I'm surprised that's even legal, but there you go.

The work may have been great, but it was completely over shadowed by this mess!

We would not use them again. Slow getting work done not to mention Underhanded and deceitful.

Drain in laundry room was backing up.  I called Pat Chase on my lunch hour and he was able to be there in the later afternoon.  Great job, very efficient!

This company was sent out to me through my AHS warranty. The technician came to our house only to tell my wife (I was not home) that the repair was not covered through our warranty because it was a pre-existing condition. They gave her an estimate of $450-$800 to replace the pvc pipe that was cracked. After looking up reviews on google and better business bureau for Nussbaumer plumbing, I contacted the warranty service to request a second opinion after finding multiple complaints about them. Another plumbing company came to diagnosis the same problem, except this time the technician called it in through our warranty with no problems. Needless to say, if this companies technicians tell you it's not covered by your home warranty...get a second opinion, it saved me would could have been an $800 out of pocket expense.

BUYER BEWARE!!! They do not seem to be legitimate. They told me the necessary first step to a plumbing job/problem was to run a camera and indicator to locate the problem. When I insisted that they start with the camera and indicator they all of a sudden didn't want to do either. Yet they wanted to take out the old trap and relocate a new one outside to bring it up to code while never confirming that it was bad AND put in a new line all the way to the curb while never confirming that that was what was actually needed. Additionally, they quoted one price at the beginning, but later tried to increase the amount without identifying any additional work that was needed. Lastly, I live out of town and when I wanted someone in town to oversee the project/job/ work they backed out of the job having never run a camera or indicator...Again, BUYER BEWARE!!! As for the rating, the only reason that I give it a one star is because the site will not let you choose zero stars!!!

Technician came out for 5 minutes misdiagnosed the problem and throw away my $50 air vents that he says were bad.  Sent me a $125 Bill.
I proceeded to buy 2 new vents that were supposed to fix the problem but the same issue came up again.  Called several times to reschedule a follow up appointment.  Was told numerous times that someone would call me back to reschedule no one ever did.  Finally after weeks a technician came out properly diagnosed the problem and scheduled a power jet snaking on my main pipe.   At that time I was assured that this would be a $300 process and proceeding with scheduling.  After the tech came out and did the snaking I got a $650 bill because they say it took longer than originally planned.  The tech didn't say a word and just acted like everything went as planned.  I called to complain and couldn't get a anyone to call me back.  They agreed to drop the original $125 service call bill but refused to do anything about the $650 bill that was more than double what I was estimated nor would they take off $50 for misdiagnosing the original problem and throwing away 2 perfectly good air vents.  Unfortunately they did exactly what you heard about in the plumbing industry.  Would never recommend this company and it's very clear they don't care about be transparent about there billing or customer service after the fact.

Adam Mondine of Modine Plumbing & Construction is FRAUDULET!  He asked for a $150 retainer for Tiling my shower. He declined to do the work and promised to refund my money. Over the last 6 week I have asked Adam for the refund and he promised he would. He has lots of excuses of why he could not!
Not a Man of his Word.  Please stay away from him. 6 weeks of his excuses are enough!
