Came home last night to find several inches of water in my garage. It was definitely coming up from the drain, due to the combination of rain & melting ice dams in my gutters. For whatever reason, the water wouldn't drain. I wanted to find someone local to bail me out of this nasty situation. I called Chase Plumbing first thing in the morning, based on the positive yelp reviews.

Patrick showed up before noon (he had 2 jobs to finish before mine). He was very quick in diagnosing the problem. First, he tried snaking the garage drain, but the trap wasn't cooperating with the snake due to a hole in the trap (or something). 2nd, he tried to snake through the driveway trap, but the previous owners filled it with cement (ughh). 3rd, he cracked open the main stack of my house and ran the snake that way. Within a few minutes, he pulled up a dirty old rag, and my garage started to drain! He patched up the stack with some couplings and I was good to go! The damage was $200, and was about what I expected to pay, given the complexity of my situation. I have a feeling I would have had to pay more if I looked elsewhere.

Patrick is a straight shooter, he doesn't sugarcoat anything. He gave me a little insight into the plumbing under my garage and driveway and advice for some future improvements.

I definitely recommend Chase Plumbing if you are trying to keep it local and avoid getting overcharged by larger chains.

Called Patrick early this morning after I woke up to a running toilet with a tank that wouldn't fill. I'm completely useless when it comes to plumbing. He happened to be on a job in the neighborhood and said he'd call when he was done. 20 minutes later, he called and was at my door minutes after that. He fixed the toilet in about 10 minutes and charged me $90 which I found more than fair given the prompt and friendly service, and the parts he had on hand. He's in my phone as Plumber from here on out.

Called Pat on Saturday evening, after trying to call another company that didn't answer. He did answer, I told him I wanted to have him look at my pipes to have a washing machine hooked up because they didn't look right. He told me he could look at it the next day and he would call before coming. He came exactly at the time he scheduled with me, told me what needed to be done and gave me the price which was very reasonable. He also said he can do the work the next day and that's exactly what he did. He got the work done quickly and it looks nice. I would recommend him to anyone.

Called the same day of service - very quick and efficient. I needed a rusted kitchen faucet in one of our rental properties replaced and Pat had to end up using a saw to get the old faucet out; he was super friendly and showed me where to turn the water off and had very fair billing. Would call him again.

Thanks for fixing our leaky toilet and a fair rate, Patrick!!!

Seriously, this guy came down like Batman or something, and he lives right near us. We should get a spotlight with a wrench symbol and shine it in the night sky whenever we have a plumbing issue again. He's good. Highly recommended.

Mr. Chase has been a Godsend at my house twice in the past 15 months. He didn't come in and try to sell me 500 things. He came in and replaced my bathtub faucet handles and fixed a drain vent in my basement. He charged fair prices and didn't waste any time.

In a world where any fly by night jagoff  will try to scam a female customer, Mr. Chase is a breath of fresh air. He looks at the problem, makes recommendations, and lets the customer make the choice. He then gets to work and doesn't charge you for hours of chit chat and bs. He returned the work areas to their original conditions and went on his way. He's not a man of a lot of words, so he won't be your therapist. He will do the job, charge you fairly, and do the job well.

Quite honestly, Mr. Chase was a blessing from God both times he did work at my house. I'm thankful to have found such an honest and no-nonsense plumber.

Hire this guy for your job. You won't be sorry.

Due to the great reviews on here, this was the first plumber my fiance called in an emergency. He was told that they were just finishing up a job and would be here afterwards. Two and a half hours later we called back to get an ETA and were told that we would have to be put off until the next day. Really wish we had been told that from the beginning instead of wasting a day waiting for him.

This afternoon, after getting back from yesterday's wedding, I looked up at the kitchen ceiling in horror!

There was a bad, bad leak, and the dripping was coming from multiple spots!

In a state of panic and desperation (we thought we fixed it!!!), I went on elocalplumbers.com, and clicked on Chase Plumbing.

Within a minute, I got a call back. It turns out that Patrick Chase, the owner, lives a few blocks from us.

A less than an hour later, the leaking has stopped. Some loose bolts on the bottom of the toilet were the culprit.

The damage? $65.

Thanks Pat. Whew!

My bathroom sink drain pipe started leaking through my living room wall and into my basement late on a Saturday night. Got up on Sunday feeling ill about the potential cost to repair. I started researching plumbers and found these Yelp reviews which prompted me to call. Surprisingly, phone was answered on a Sunday and Patrick wanted to come right out. I was worried about Sunday charges and he advised that it wouldn't be necessary. He was at my house in about an hour and quickly determined that the prior owner's shoddy plumbing job had caused the issue. He had to cut through the wall to get to the problem and remove/replace a portion of the drain pipe. This took a couple of hours. After completion, the pricing was much better than I had expected. He is a good guy - I have dealt with a lot of contractors who inflate prices or use fear tactics to encourage additional work that might not be needed. Patrick was straightforward and honest. I already want to schedule some additional work that I've been delaying and plan to recommend him to my friends & family.

Another plumber no showed on me and I took a chance after reading the yelp reviews. Exactly as advertised. Helpful and direct with fair prices.
My whole house is now reasonably warm and I did not have to take another day off of work.
We did not fix everything but I have a good idea of how to address my issues.
Thanks!

Woke up to a horrific smell in the downstairs of my 115 yr old house. Sewage was backing up into the basement. Called Chase Plumbing, and Mr. Chase was here in about an hour. Very courteous, professional & informative. He went right to work and didn't stop until my lines were draining easily.  Response time, service performed and Price was fantastic and above all fair. We just moved to PA so finding a real 5-star plumber at the first sign of problems is a huge plus!  I'm storing their number for our future remodel needs!!

Highly recommend Chase Plumbing! Pat had a lot projects going on, but went out of his way to help me with basement flooding. Very reasonably priced (compared to those big brands) and even gave me advice on how I can stop problems before they start. What most impressed me is that he was truly trying to help, instead of trying to sell me on additional work.

Used Patrick Chase once to fix a faucet and he did an ok job, very pricey. I asked him for an estimate on some additional work, and never heard from him. I called again to have him come out to give me an estimate on some other work, Today he was suppose to come out, I called to see what time he was coming and acted like he had never heard of me or coming out. He proceeded to tell me about how he was wrapped up in a job and just quit smoking. I asked if he was coming he said NO. Very rude and unprofessional. Won't be calling him again.

Excellent! Honest, and reasonably priced (his hourly rate is really quite low -- $75 for the first hour)! And he will ultimately save you money because he is SO honest -- I was under the impression I needed to have two sections of pipe/valves replaced but he simply tightened things up in a few spots and the leaks stopped. I'm so, so thankful he didn't do $200-300 of unnecessary work (and embarrassed I hadn't known to try that!).

Pat answered my call right away at 7:30am, made a same day appointment, called when he was on his way, arrived exactly when he said he would, and was able to quickly fix all 4 problems/leaks in the basement! He had all the necessary parts in his truck, and did quick and clean work.

He also explained things as we went along. Very helpful!! And very professional. I will never call anyone else.

Pat saved the day. Our sewer line was backed up. We checked out yelp and found Pat. He was at my house within 20 minutes, on a Sunday. Yes his rate his higher than most but no additional charges were incurred such as a truck charge, mileage nor a holiday charge. He snaked the line and was gone in no time. He also gave us some helpful hints on the newer toilets that use less water but require some routine maintenance. Good stuff.

Honest guy and helped me out on a Sunday. He could've raked me over the coals but he charged me a fair price and gave me advice about my plumbing. Will def use again!

Pat was PHENOMENAL.  I had a drain pipe leak where the drain's location was behind the wall and behind some kitchen cabinets.  Pat answered his phone immediately and then was able to come by the next morning.  He arrived promptly and recommended ways that I can access the pipes with minimal damage (I'm fairly handy so I could do the work to get to the pipe and needed an expert plumber then for the fix).  After I was able cut through the dry wall to access the pipe, I called Pat back on Friday at 6pm and we talked over phone and text where I sent pictures and he was able to diagnose and think of solutions...all this for no charge.  By doing so, Pat was able to bring all the right materials and come to my house at 9am the next day (a  Saturday).   He even found other leaky issues I had under the kitchen sink that I didn't catch and he fixed them at no additional charge.

Pat busted his butt and worked for 5 straight hours fixing the problem.  This was a tight squeeze fit because he had to work inside a cabinet.  He was professional, courteous, and his rates were very reasonable.

An honest, reasonable, and skilled plumber is hard to find.  Pat with Patrick E. Chase Plumbing is just that.  He's a 1-man company and seems to be working all the time...he is skilled and good.  Prices are quite fair.  Highly recommend.

Awesome plumber, great prices, we had multiple gas leaks in the basement, and our gas was shut off. He was here the next day and got everything up to safety quickly. He did not replace everything that was unnecessary, he's an honest hard working guy. If you need a good plumber he is the way to go.

8 months later and the caulking around my tub that they fixed has mold on it. I went around three years with a few portions starting to get mold after that amount of time, then has this company replace the old caulking.

I had a new company come in and tell me they used the wrong caulking for my tub, and that's why it's moldy. Seems like a total waste of money now since it didn't last very long. Pretty disappointed.

While the faucet he fixed is still in good shape, the tub clearly is not.

Disrespectful toward me & my home. He didn't have right parts, had to buy additional parts along with tweaking the job afterwards  & now water leak is back. Expensive as well. Had to call another plumber & start from scratch.

Patrick returned my call really quick and was able to get out to the house we own in Beechview (we are in Wisconsin) to give us a quote on a repair of a 12 yr old furnace. While he wasn't able to fix it (turns out this was a very complicated ultra efficient furnace which I wasn't able to tell him about before he went over) he also didn't charge us for the service call - he lives in the neighborhood. I appreciated his honesty and compassion for wanting to get heat on.

Found Patrick on Yelp and read that he was able to come over quickly -- and it was true -- he was there within 15 minutes. He was able to fix multiple pipe leaks, and did so thoroughly and quickly. I will definitely call him if I have a plumbing problem in the future. Highly recommended.
