Best Gas Line Services in Pittsburgh PA
I was not at the home during the service -- but this makes my review even more important to me. I learned about it all from my Aunt who was super impressed with Todd from First Call Plumbing. The sewer backed up to the point where we could not use our appliances and were apprehensive to flush the toilet. My Aunt's regular plumber was on vacation so we had to find someone new. My Aunt was very skeptical about using someone new, but the smell was unbearable and she had no choice. Calling Todd same day, he was helpful, polite and ensured he fit us in, and on a Saturday, too. In addition to solving the problem, he assisted in clean up. He also did a review of other areas of the home. Pricing was generous -- they only charge OT on a Sunday! Thanks for a great experience, Todd!

These guys were fantastic. Very friendly, professional. We had a plumbing emergency, they responded very quickly to the call. Came out the next day and fixed the issue. The price was great, and the job was done really well.

Heard about Bruce from B& J plumbing from a trusted neighbor. So glad I followed up with her recommendation.
Bruce was wonderful to deal with, and was completely honest and very, very helpful. Was able to replace my garbage disposal and get it installed, and also was able to hook up with the copper waterline to my brand-new refrigerator when the delivery men from home depot said they didn't know how to do so. He did all that for under $200 and on my timeline. He's honest and trustworthy and does good work!
Would recommend him to anyone in the Elizabeth and surrounding area!

Called them out for a sewer back up ... long story short he assessed the issue and gave me an honest diagnosis .... everything was fine ! Rotorooter wanted to charge me $15k for emergency service and stressed the need to have this done immediately !
If you are looking for an honest company that is my looming to retire off of each job, then call Dave at 1 Plumber !

I have had to call Frank three times in the recent months. Two calls were for smaller problems and one was for a large problem, a broken pipe behind a wall. Frank was able to fix all three problems in a very reasonable amount of time and at a very reasonable charge. I recommend Frank to be called for any type of plumbing problem. John B Penn Hills

A technician installed an outdoor frost free hose bibb on my house two to three years ago. At the time he told me he was leaving the company and planned to move. The cost of his work had me joking about paying for a chunk of his relocation costs! Soon afterward, the bibb leaked and had to be adjusted. The next spring it had to be worked on again. And this spring, it had to be replaced due to not working at all. The replacement cost was $274 and, as before, the bill was not itemized. The first installation was somewhere around $350 and was done by one technician. This one was completed by two men two to three years later and cost less. It's confusing and frustrating, but I'm retired and don't have the energy to fight with them. My only consolation is that I'm having a new HVAC system installed next week and didn't consider Gerard Plumbing for even a second.

We have had quite a few issues since purchasing our home two years ago and Chuck has been outstanding to work with. Recently we had a leak through our kitchen ceiling which ended up being quite the job during this pandemic. Chuck redid our piping in the exposed kitchen ceiling, master bathroom vanity and exposed pipes in the basement. We appreciated his honesty in the process and the education on our plumbing. Thank you Chuck- we appreciated all of your hard work! His apprentice came the last day with him, Morgan, and he was also very courteous. Also a thank you to Andrea their scheduler, she is such a pleasant woman to work with.

Mr. Brown was very receptive to our call! This time he responded right away and Cameron was here within a few hours to fix our emergency. Cameron was excellent and knew exactly what he was doing. We will definitely use this service again! I am so glad we gave him a second chance!
Thanks!
Thanks!

Jennell: Thank you for responding but my home AC unit is still working fine. As far as the Duquesne Light goes I have an insurance rider thru Duquesne light that I call ( phone number is on the bill)when I have an issue--- that company then calls a repair company to address the problem.

I have been using Shelton Plumbing for years. They go out of their way to help me when I need them. They return phone calls promptly and call when they are on their way. And to say they are friendly is an understatement. This is a great team and I highly recommend. I wish I could remember everyone's name but high five to Sara, Denny and Jake.

Loved them, they put in a new gas line for us. They were fast, professional and reasonable. I would call them first!

We used Cuccaro for our house back in 2011. This year we have had to replace almost everything they have done. They charge ridiculously high prices and fake their own customer reviews. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE, unless you want someone telling you that you're out of your mind.

Highly inflated prices for drain cleaning and plumbing services. Technician was pleasant and showed up within the provided time frame, however wanted to charge $300 to pull a toilet/replace wax ring, and an additional $250 to clean a clogged drain. I declined service.
Was charged a $55 trip fee (waived if you accept service) for me to tell the plumber what I needed done and him to reveal pricing, despite the website and advertisements touting free estimates! The estimates are NOT free if you decline to have the work done, or simply cannot afford it.

These people are liars. They came to my house to see about a leaking hot water tank under our home warranty. Water was clearly leaking out of the tank, across the floor an into the floor drain in the basement. After the third visit for this I insisted that they replace the heater, which they did for $1100. They told the HSA warranty company the heater was not leaking. Scott and Cole did the work and lied to the warranty company. Why would I ask to have a heater replaced that was not leaking? And if it was not leaking, why would a reputable company agree to replace it?
Do not use this company.

Don't let the offer of a senior discount fool you. Even if you ask for it, it may not be listed on your invoice. Make sure you check your bill!
Also, don't ever schedule Saturday service unless you want to pay premium prices.

Stay AWAY from these guys! I had a pipe burst on Friday with the intense cold, and as a result, water all over the place - had to turn off the water main. My insurance agency recommended Restano and when I called they were closed/busy and I got sent to their answering service (on a Friday afternoon). I must have called at least 4-5 times and while the answering service was extremely nice and assured me that a technician would contact me soon, nobody ever called back. In my last message, I basically said that all I wanted to know was if I could expect someone to contact me before the end of the day and if they were too busy, to just let me know so that I could contact some other company. NO RESPONSE. Finally, 5 hours after my original call I gave up and contacted another company that I Googled up. They responded right away, sent someone home and my pipes were fixed and I had water back in a couple of hours. Meanwhile, it's now Sunday night and I STILL haven't heard back from Restano. If I could give them zero stars I would...

I have used this Mr. Rooter for all my household plumbing needs for 20 years with complete satisfaction- work was good, prices reasonable. This weekend my hot water tank went and naturally I gave them a call- after all they had replaced this same water heater 15 years ago. After waiting around all day for them to come, they showed up in the late afternoon on Saturday.. After giving them a $97 assessment fee, they told me that replacing my standard 50 gal gas water tank would cost north of $5,500. I sent them packing of course. Three other plumbers gave me estimates for the same work and not one was more then $1800 for the same work. Clearly, the technician is paid on a commission and didn't feel like doing the job on a Saturday afternoon unless he could find a foolish customer to pay a ridiculous price so that he could make out (literally) like a bandit. I wasn't so foolish, but they had already swiped my credit card for the $97 assessment fee- still a ripoff but on a smaller scale. Mr. Rooter has seen the last of my business for this little stunt- I hope the $97 was worth it! Beware of this rookish operation- Must have new ownership because they were always reasonable and trustworthy.
