We had what we hoped was a minor leak.  Thanks to Express Plumbing's knowledge and expertise they discovered a crack in the pipe which extended up the inside wall and curved into the ceiling.  It was not easy to detect the extent and we feel fortunate it was their years of experience and knowledge that found the extent of the problem.    They were prompt in arriving onsite.   Upon arrival they wore footwear covering over their rather clean shoes I might add, although it was a dry day and I said you don't have to, they said, no, it's our protocol.    We totally trust them and would highly recommend them to you.  Price point was very reasonable for the several hour job from start to finish.  Friendly.  Professional.  Knowledgeable.   Trustworthy - and they explained what they are doing every step.   It was not an easy job too numerous reasons to explain.   Number one in our books and we will recommend to all in our community.  Thank you so much!

Al Buerkle has worked with my mother for a number of years now.  My husband and I are in the process of buying a home and had a plumbing issue we asked the seller to fix - after the seller's plumber told us it did not need to be fixed we sought a second opinion from Al Buerkle.  He was very quick in reviewing the dvd of the snaked drain and giving us a written opinion that we could send to the seller.  He also talked to both of us about the issue and how it would need to be repaired.  I felt very comfortable talking to him and held his opinion in very high regard given the extended working relationship he has had with my mother.  While the seller ultimately decided to use her own plumber to fix the issue, he was very helpful and we will certainly use him for all of our plumbing needs in the future.

Harry is very professional and knowledgeable.  His approach to the work was thorough.  I will definitely use him again.

What a day, It all started 2 days ago when my wife Tammy saw water leaking from the water supply line to the fridge. It's under the floor joists in the basement ceiling. She shut it off with the little valve that's connects the hose for the fridge to the copper waterline.
 The next day she noticed the water that leaked on the basement floor, had dried up. In the mean time, she and my step-daughter Tanya went to the store, as they usually do on Saturday, and decided they could buy a new water supply kit and repair it themselves.
 In order to change the 'little &%$%#oops! valve' that attaches to the copper pipe, they had to turn off the water with the main valve coming into the house. This is when it got really interesting... OK, Water off?  A-OK. Valve replaced? A-OK. Water turned back on?...... Mucho problema!..... Water spraying out of the top of the main valve!  Ay, chihuahua!... Houston, we have a problem... (for those who are 30 and under, Apollo 13 had just experienced an explosion and astronaut Jim Lovell called mission control in Houston to report the problem.)  Tammy had to turn the water supply valve off... now we have no water... and it's Saturday. Now what?
 We need to turn the water off at the street to replace the main valve in the house, but it's Saturday and how do we contact anybody at the water company? Well you can't...
 Now I'm worried... but was lucky to find a plumber who was willing to come and  repair it.came Sunday afternoon and had difficulty finding the underground main valve in the alley. The standpipe ('curb box' for access to the valve, ) was leaning and had been pushed over at some point. It was also full of rocks and dirt because the lid was broken.
 Richard dug by hand for a few hours before finally exposing the valve and used a special wrench to shut it off.
 He then installed a new 'shut-off' valve inside the house and fixed the supply line to the fridge.
 We found Jay to be a pleasant and courteous man and would recommend him highly and without reservation.

I have had terrible issues with other plumbers, especially with the ones home warranty companies use. Jaros has saved the day for me!  Fast, reliable and great to work with.  Small family business.  Same small crew. No flashy marketing and big mark ups. Just great service!  Highly recommend!!!!!!

EXCELLENT Company! I am so grateful to Mark & Tim for the EXCELLENT job they did at installing my new kitchen faucet & fixing a leak!! They did a FANTASTIC job!!! They are EXTREMELY honest, more than reasonable, and very personable. On top of that, Mark is a veteran... Thank you again for your service!!!  I now have found my new plumbing & HV/AC Co! I had seen some less than positive reviews, but they came highly recommended by a national store. They were able to find the proper piece of equipment I needed but also warned me about using that item with my current plumbing in my residence. They outlined the cons of my intended use. I decided to not use the purchased product as a result of that conversation. It would have been very easy for them to just sell me the part, but they engaged me in dialogue to help problem solve for the best possible outcome. Their prices were reasonable, but the discussion regarding the pros and cons probably saved me at least $400 that would have been needed to replace the damage using the part would have cost. Cash only under $10.

He doesn't use licensed plumbers and yet charges full price. He is a crook and a felon and he goes by Jay but his real name is Golan. In all of the businesses he's run, he has cheated people out of their money and manipulated people. He's also been sued multiple times. For your sake, please do not use him.

We have 2 four year old toilets that were becoming hard to flush. I expected a change to the handles and flush tower gaskets.  Instead he recommended a brand new $498 toilet to replace each.  I declined.
The plumber only adjusted the water level in the tanks of each. It cost me $160.00.
Not much help.

Terribly rude person/owner.  He was very condescending and has little patience when speaking to customers.  He lost his patience and hung up on me because my child began to ask for me.  Would not recommend him to anyone ...especially if they have children.

They are currently trying to steal money from us. THEY ARE NOT LICENSED.  They left a job incomplete because they didn't know how to fix it. They then took a payment for a job and did not start it. They are frauds and disrespectful.  They lied and said a permit was pulled. They think they can get away with theft because of the contract which isn't binding. I will get back every dime I paid them in court because they stoke a down payment and fraudulently worked on another job. ​

I am super grateful for the fast services provided by Calfo, especially Christian R. We needed emergency heating services during one of the coldest days and the height of a recent snow burst blanketing the city. But that didn't stop Calfo. They answered my call on the first ring, took down my name, phone number and address. Within minutes, I received a text alert that Christian R. was on his way and estimated an exact 54 minute window! :D I'm so glad I called Calfo, even after attempting a call to a few other heating companies, with one providing an estimated 12 hour window. Christian R. traveled from the South Hills to the East End in treacherous winter conditions, crossing bridges/tunnels to provide excellent service and value. We were back in operation in short order and Christian R. checked off all the boxes before he left. I felt confident and grateful for the reliable, responsive and quick service that Calfo provided at a time when waiting overnight, as quoted by a competitor, was an unfortunately disappointing alternative.

we cannot say enough horrible things about these people. stay far away. Via our home warranty company they have been working on fixing our heat/ ac unit since January 11, 2021. As of today July 8, 2021 it remains unfixed. In May they removed it and cut lines claiming they were installing a new one. That never occurred. They took our unit and we have never seen them again. none of them know what they are doing, they are dishonest, incapable of doing work, leave cigarettes everywhere, and will never fix anything. This company needs to be shut down.

We had 3 bathroom faucets replaced by westmoreland plumbing. The tech was pleasant and did a good job. He had me sign for acceptance of the work before any work was done and only after being paid did he asked me to sign a decline line which was not even mentioned til he was paid.  I don't have any complaints about the work except they are EXTREMELY expensive.  I know I paid the price because I wanted the faucets done now, But I know I was I taken advantage of. That's my fault and I take responsibility for it.  Lesson learned. If you choose to use this company for work, just get another bid to make sure you aren't being taken.
