Team arrived within an hour of my desperate phone call. All work was done quickly, without fuss and without making a mess. I will definitely use Kenneth again.

Fast response time, honest assessment and fair pricing for an issue with our water heater. Would use these guys again for plumbing needs.

I had a pipe leak inside our bedroom wall which led to mold. URV came in evaluated and fixed the problem very quickly. Best of all, their price was very reasonable. We will be using their service again.

I couldn't ask for a more competent plumbing service than Service Star Plumbing by Ben. Scheduling was easy and timely. Ben provided a detailed and fair estimate and I am very happy with the end result. This time it was for replacing a kitchen faucet and two bathroom faucets. Ben had previously installed a new water heater, replaced a garage disposal, and added a new drain line in the garage for a washer. Top notch quality and service!

Atlas Plumbing did a great job through out the difficult process!
I am on the bottom floor in a 6 unit building. Water was coming up thru the drain like a little fountain. The tub was 2/3 full when I started to worry. I plunged it back and used drain enzyme cleaner which is for slow drains. I thought I had fixed it but the water came up thru the drain again-now 3/4 full. After trying to fix it myself I Called the landlord and between us both... 4 plumbers were to busy to come out.
The landlord was out of town so I was the guy who had to make it happen.
I was taking off a full day of work and had to get it done today. I could not afford to be off of work another day.
I called Atlas. They have a free estimate so I had them come out and inspect it and let me know. Mike gave me the $145 for the snake. I told Mike and his apprentice I would have to give the landlord the heads up and had them leave so I could get the landlord to commit to the same day fix. Mike asked if I wanted them to wait till I worked out the logistics and I said no that it may be a while. He said ok no problem and they left without any problem. The landlord was out of town but Atlas worked with me; called the landlord and took his cc info over the phone. I would have bet Atlas like any business would have wanted some formal verification in the transaction but I was thankful the Office folks at Atlas were very easy going. They took the landlord name and phone number and they called him then called me back to tell me the landlord ok'd the fix and is paying for it--then Mike and his apprentice Alex came back 20 minutes later as positive and professional as before.
The snake would not go down past the trap no matter how hard they both tried.
My very nice neighbor let us get into the garage where the pipes were for my tub.
Mike found the pipes in the garage and found they were leaking onto the garage floor and items in boxes in the area when ever I took a shower. The simple snake was not going to work because the pipe outside and below my tub was old style and to narrow for the snake. Mike asked me if we could call the landlord to give him the options available for the fix and let him decide. The landlord went for the fix the whole thing scenario-cut out the narrow j shaped pipe and use the snake from the bottom up then install a new wider j pipe.
Both Mike and Alex were hard working determined and honest professionals.
Mike was not out to gauge the customer. He simply left it up to the landlord to make the final decision. In fact Atlas waived the $145 snake charge and gave the final cost BEFORE doing the job. No hidden fees. No surprises.
Just hard working, determined, honest professionals from the office staff to the plumbers in the field.
I will recommend Atlas to everyone I know who needs a plumber!

We had a great experience with Handyman Heroes. Larry came out to take a look at the bathroom, kitchen, laundry room, fireplace project, and provided a reasonable quote. We were working under a tight deadline, AND we ended up adding work to the already difficult timeline. Sergio and his crew did a great job, completed everything on time and the place looks terrific! We recommend the Heroes and would definitely work with them on future projects.

Their work and team are excellent and they understand and delivery great furnace repairs at a fair price. SUPER responsive and easy to work with for emergencies and their integrity is excellent. The tech Jordan was super knowledgeable and easygoing, leaving us clear on status of our furnace, giving an evaluation of the quality and reassuring us that repairs were worth it. When warranty follow up was needed Joey the owner handled everything easily and performed follow up work quickly and only charged for materials. He made it easy for me to decide whether or not to buy parts on my own and made everything painless. I waited awhile to post my review and can affirm that the fix is still working great afterwards. I am happy to have a locally owned company in my contacts and will recommend them to anyone who asks!

Professional, prompt scheduling and they arrived within the timeframe they said they would. They explained and showed me the problem with my water heater, checked and found it was on warranty, and offered to contact the manufacturer for us. Others from the company came by to help and drop off the needed part. Quick installation of the broken part and saved us a lot of money. They also have a year guarantee on their work. Courteous and went above and beyond to help us. Nice and skilled guys and we would definitely call them again if in need, though we are hoping nothing ever breaks in our house again.

Excellent service, with a smile..................................................................................................................................ridiculous for Yelp to force me to type 85 word before I can submit my comment when I can say what I want in four words. I am only typing 85 because Elite deserves positive recognition

Fantastic quality of service! Friendly, reliable, professional, trustworthy!
I randomly called Savior Plumbing because I needed to redo the kitchen plumbing, install a new garbage disposal and replace a rusty faucet that was stuck in place. David came out and sawed off the old faucet and replaced the old rusty drain with high quality PVC plumbing that looks amazing and I know will last. Everything is running perfectly. Truly a professional.
A week later, my HOA notified me of water leaking into the unit below. I called Savior Plumbing with no hesitation. Was hoping David would come out but this time it was Adam. He was just as friendly and professional. He identified the problem and replaced a gasket that another plumbing company had replaced several months earlier. It was the wrong part! Adam identified it. Replaced it with the correct part and tested to make sure that we weren't leaking. Having a peace of mind that Adam did the right thing and fixed my issue the right way is invaluable!
Everyone here knows how valuable it is to find a reliable company with reliable people to help you in a time of need. I've found it in Savior Plumbing. Thank you David and Adam!

Rey and his team are amazing. Super professional and kept to their quote. Even fixed a problem that was out of scope and an issue inherent to the house. Did a super job. Would recommend them to anybody and will use them for future work.

Had a good experience with an estimator today. Wait: good experience but two stars?
I've had frustrating exchanges with their phone reps. They use local dispatchers and a call center that appear to operate in parallel or ignorance of one another.
My inquiry was seeking an estimate about heat-pump installation. The estimator showed up at my house without any of the information I had provided to the initial representative I had contacted. They don't give us all the information, was his remark.
In the end, that part was fine because he and I talked through things and I filled him in. But subsequent interactions with their phone reps and schedulers -- surrounding trying to get a tech out to fix a small gas leak discovered by the estimator -- have been frustrating.
This company is well reviewed. The technicians may be skilled; but the surrounding service/support not so much.

I had many people say they were either going to call me back or show up for an assignment, but Ted was the only one who kept his word. No shade, but shade...I had no idea how unreliable people are in this line of work. It was a relief to find someone who is trustworthy. In one meeting our door got fixed and that was that, thanks buddy.

I had an appointment for this guy to replace the filters in my Reverse Osmosis under sink unit, yesterday. When it became apparent that he would not show up, I called the phone number, listed here on Yelp several times only to get a non-specific voicemail message, so I wasn't even sure if it was his number. I then tried replying to the email chain we had established for the meeting schedule. That was also not successful. Finally I used Yelp's request a quote link and then he did finally answer. He said, didn't you get my previous message? My son is out sick and I can't make it today. Let's reschedule. The upshot I never got the supposed first message and it was only through my own efforts at communication that he replied at all.
Why do I feel that he is lying and that it was a lame excuse? It is not without precedent. I note that on his Yelp reviews there are many glowing messages, all of 5 stars, and a few really bad 1 star messages. I could not find even one 4 star, 3 star or 2 star review. That in itself seems strange.
It seems the one star bad reviews all have a common thread. This guy is a flake! He always has some lame excuse. One particularly interesting one was from him in Lake Tahoe on the appointed date of a job, and that he was in the emergency room up there. It's obvious that he blew off the job to go skiing and then got in touch with the client as an afterthought.
The ironic thing is that I studied his reviews more closely while I was waiting for him to show up, yesterday. I had initially just gone with the couple of praising reviews, which percolate near the top, being most recent. After reading through page after page I noticed the pattern of his excuse making. I didn't want someone so unprofessional and unreliable in my residence. So I just said, let's just forget it in answer to his typical excuse email.
I ended up doing the job myself.
I also think that Yelp should closely examine all of his glowing 5 star reviews for authenticity. I think that many of them are fakes!!
Here is an addendum:
Ten minutes after I posted the above review I got an irate call from Paul. I can verify that his number is correct now, due to my caller ID. I can also confirm that he likes to shout and use very colorful language. Paul, please do not ever call me again!!

There's never a convenient time for your tank to fail but I got lucky. I actually reached Chosen through yelp for a plumber and chose them because they responded very quickly and I actually got to speak with a real human about my problem (thank you for your kindness and patience Alex who answers the service calls). After I sheepishly turned down their service to wait for my home warranty company to call back, I got a message saying they were on their way. Turns out that my home warranty uses chosen as a vendor and I felt that I was in good hands again. They dispatched Jesus, a kind and personable soul who inspected the heater and assured me that he would be back. Fast forward to an hour or so later (on Mother's Day mind you) Daniel calls and sends jesus back and the new heater was installed, rubbish removed and basement as clean as I left it. I would not hesitate to use or recommend Chosen again. They saved us! And also their logo is literally CRAP (chosen rooter and plumbing) big points for that gem.

I have used Jorge's plumbing several times, from installing sewage sump pumps, rain water sump pumps, installing backstops and correcting past plumbers' shoddy workmanship in general. He's friendly, reliable and always gets the job done right. I highly recommend his services.

Like S. d., they've done good work for me in the past, but it was steep. Better the devil you know, so I went with them when I had a cracked sewer lateral.
$800 later i have some footage of the pipe and an I had to ask them to resend the estimate (only the bill arrived the first time). The proposal involved re-routing half my lines cost 6.5K, which doesn't include permits and I would have to do the crawl space excavation (not insubstantial) myself.
After some research I found a trenchless solution (cured in place pipe) for a small fraction to repair only the 4' section of damaged cast iron pipe (the rest looked healthy).
To sum up: good work if money is no object. Down side, expensive and not much interest in finding the best value solution.

We were given an appointment window of two hours during a workday. As is the case for most working people, it's difficult from me to take time off from work, and what accumulated personal time I have I don't like to have wasted.
At the close of our 2-hour scheduled window the company was a no show. I called to ask for an ETA and was told that the tech called in sick, wouldn't be making it, but could come tomorrow. Which is also a workday.
People get sick, I understand. Not communicating it is unprofessional. That the company didn't call to let me know they wouldn't show is frustrating and feels disrespectful of my time.

We've had excellent experiences with Valley Plumbing for several jobs including whole house filtration and water treatment, zero waste reverse osmosis in our kitchen, miscellaneous kitchen and bath repairs, and urgent assistance with clogged drains. Kirk (one of the senior plumbers) is exceptional and truly detail oriented. The sales room staff are super helpful. They're a trustworthy, local, family owned company that stands beside their work. We'll keep using them for all of our plumbing needs, and you should consider doing the same. Highly recommended!
