Best Water Heater Installation in Oakland CA

Loved that Justin installed a new water heater for us, saved us from no water weekend. No hassle, clean explanation, super easy to discuss with and work efficiently. My 8 year boy brought out his piggy bank and wanted to give them a tip because they were so kind and taught him watch over little things. Haha...

Honest Abe, thank you. Prompt, responsive, fixed the problem. Seems very experienced: after finishing the work on my kitchen sink, did a pro bono check on my tub for free.

I highly recommend this company and especially Marcus for their prompt service. I had a major sink clogged in my kitchen which had to be snaked. Marcus was able to unclog it after many attempts. He improvised in this situation which saved me a lot of headache and also in cost.

We had problem with our drainage in the bathroom which caused a leak in our closet downstairs. He came to check it out and advised what needed to be done. He was able to fix it and replace any outdated parts. Thanks Ben.

You call, you make an appointment, they show on time, they charge the going rate for solid craftsmanship.
They historically have worked on big building construction projects, but due to the weak economy now have a service department which brings all that construction experience with them. They are not who you would call for a blocked toilet emergency - that would be roto rooter or rescue rooter (who rip you off when you are most desperate). These guys are for the planned plumbing jobs. You won't be sorry. if they don't get it right the first time and they are at fault, then they do it right with no charge on the return visit.

Well, they are not cheap. But they are available when you call, so great for emergencies. They also have flat rate pricing. I got my toilet water valve fixed on a Sunday night for $200. I previously had a sewer scope and the guy did a good job of making me feel like it was thorough.

I used to love these guys.  You call - they come - they fix the problem - all done. Tonight I called (rather late at night) with a major house plumbing issue and I did not get a call back. I called again an hour later to see if anyone was coming and was told the plumber would call me soon.  After another half hour I called another plumber and canceled my call. So sad to lose a good plumber.

It's about time we post a review about this company. Ramnar, the owner, installed our radiant heat almost 20 years ago before he even started his company. This is a wonderful cost efficient way to heat our large property (tile, wood and carpet floors) and it never failed us. We never have to think about it, the thermostats are set, there is no dust, no noise, it's just the best! We are thrilled that he now has his own company, he is the best we know, trustworthy and extremely skilled. We just make sure to service the system and water heater once a year this way we also get to see him and his crew and make sure everything keeps working properly. Absolute top notch, efficient, very nice and fair priced, wouldn't think of hiring anyone else!

Gil was reliable and helper fixed the leak at home. He was cost effective and highly reliable.

Used Handyman Heroes three times now and every experience has been super.  Once to replace a water heater (which potentially saved me about $400 from Home Depot installation estimate).  Once to do painting and electrical work.  Once to patch some gaps in outdoor siding.  Every time was great - a job well done by super nice people.

Once again, my hero Joey came through.
Just as it starts getting cold our heater thermostat went out. I replaced the batteries.. nothing.
Called in the morning and Joey was out that afternoon. Fixed it in a flash.
So SO grateful.

Simply the best.  Plumbing Care are local, reliable, communicative and fast.  I came home on a Sunday and noticed a pool of water in our garage.  At first, assumed it was a leaking roof since it was raining, but followed the path of the water which lead me to our water heater.  Shut off the water line and prepared for the worst...who would possibly be available on Sunday?  

I called Plumbing Care and they had a technician (Anatoliy) show up at our door within a couple of hours.  And by 4pm, our new water heater was installed.  It was pouring rain, but Anatoliy handled it like a pro...showed up on time and gave us a (very) fair and accurate quote.  AAA service!

I accidentally dropped a mini shampoo bottle into the toilet while it was flushing. I tried to pull it out but ended up shoving it in further. Another company tried to scam me and said I needed a whole new toilet for $1000. This plumber came quickly and was able to clear the clog after a few minutes. He was super fast and courteous and very reasonably priced. Would recommend any time!

Our kitchen faucet was leaking, and  Savior sent Dave to help us.
We needed  new parts, so my husband called Kohler. The parts arrived, so Dave came back out. The wrong parts were sent by Kohler. Dave then called Kohler himself.  The correct parts arrived within 2 days, where it was over a week before.
By this time, we had spent over $300 in service fees.
My husband called Savior  and spoke with Darryl.  He gave us nice price adjustment, which we greatly appreciated.

In today's day and age where customer service can be a rarity. Savior Plumbing GETS it.  We highly recommend this plumbing company and will use them for all future plumbing.

We asked Rey to come give us a quote for air conditioning a year ago.  After pg&e finally updated our transmitter a year later, Rey and his team came and installed.  I changed my mind on where to put the unit and Rey didn't even blink... he said, we want you to be happy and had his crew move it.  He didn't make me feel bad he simply wanted me to be happy.  Then we needed one more vent and he came in the next day and put one in.  Every step of the process was smooth and lovely.  I loved his energy and couldn't recommend him any more.  He and his team are the best!

Mike did a Fantastic job. I will definitely use them in the future and highly recommend them. The Price was fair for the job and totally worth it.

We had a great experience with Ted last week when he fixed a bathroom door that kept coming off of its track. He was responsive, deliberate and thorough, finishing the job the same day after making sure he had the right materials and we were aligned on his approach. Thanks so much, Ted!

Plumbing Guys immediately responded, book an appt for the estimate then booked the return job.  Price was fair.  Appt for the job was a bit off but this is amidst pandemic and terrible air quality so that's reasonable...    Thanks!!!

My outdoor water heater stopped working in Dec 2022 after a few very cold days. With fidelity national insurance, I was assigned to get service from Chosen Rooter & Plumbing.

The initial inspector, Ron, was courteous and very helpful. He not only showed me some basics on how to locate and assess my water heater, but also answered additional questions.

As soon as my insurance approved the tank replacement, the company contacted me right away, and sent a very experience, senior installer, Robert to complete the job. Rob arrived on time during Xmas/NY holiday, and did an excellent job installing the new tank. He went above and beyond by explaining to me exactly what he is doing and teaching me how to access the new tank's function and offered me his contact in case things do not work.

Overall, I give this company a 10/10 rating. Courteous staff, excellent communication and service even during the holidays, AND delivery of service above and beyond my expectation.
