Best Water Heater Installation in Oakland CA
First of all, Kenny and his crew did a really good and fair job on what we thought would be a simple removal and re-install of a claw-foot tub in my very small bathroom. I met not only Kenny but also several of his team and they were courteous, smart - as in good problem solvers - and they wore their masks at all times. Even when there was a bit of a question about finding the right pipe connector size, I had a strong feeling of confidence and knew they would work it out. And they did. Bottom line, they were available when I needed them, they put in the effort, and they were very nice. Thank you, Kenneth Asire Plumbing!

Abraham was super responsive and helpful. He was willing to come in at 11 pm to fix my sink and toilet. He even went to go new supplies to fix my sink. I was so grateful for Abraham.

RICH IS AMAZING!!! This was my first time using VanGo and I am beyond impressed with this plumbing company and Rich, my new plumber. Living in a very old apartment building, I have had lots of plumbing issues over the years. Of the 5 times and 3 plumbing companies I have called over the last 5 years - Rich at VanGo is by far the BEST plumber I have met. The company answered my call right away and had the plumber call me right after. They were en route to my place within minutes. My kitchen sink had backed up and flooded our kitchen with nasty stinky water. They explained that the plumbing had a block below our apartment in the wall so the water from the upstairs neighbor was flowing into our sink even though we weren't using our sink. Rich knew exactly what to do and removed the blockage and fixed the broken plumbing. He showed me what the problem was and explained how he was fixing the issues. He was friendly and nice to talk with. Rich thoroughly tested the plumbing before leaving to make sure there were no leaks. Then he cleaned my sink! I am beyond impressed!! Rich is wonderful! I recommend VanGo and Rich in particular. GREAT JOB! I will be calling you next time for sure. :)

As a property manager it's CRITICAL to have reliable, knowledgable and responsive people to call for repairs. I'm *proud* to say that Ben with Service Star Plumbing is invaluable to me. He has been able to evaluate, troubleshoot and quickly resolve issues other plumbers haven't been able to figure out. He explains what he does and his pricing is reasonable. Can't say how much I appreciate you Ben!!

It is very difficult to get your calls returned. Incessant billing for service calls that results in merely adding more water pressure to the system. Does not recommend.

I had written exemplary reviews of the services provided by Albert Nahman in the past. My recent experience with Albert Nahman forces me to reconsider. What has happened in the interim? Is this a delayed Covid effect,
the general malaise in the country, chip or part shortage or just I don't give a damn anymore?
I contacted Albert Nahman on November 4th as my 31 year-old furnace decided to call it quits. Of course, this corresponded to a significant drop in temperature in the Oakland Hills. Marcus showed up on the following Monday and confirmed what I suspected: the furnace was beyond repair and it was time to replace it. He told me that it had exceeded its expected longevity. Nevertheless, the estimator had to come and do the evaluation regarding the new estimate. Bryan did show up the following day and confirmed Marcus' evaluation. He gave me a ball park figure and explained that my ducts might not pass muster for the permit. I asked whether we could proceed with the project anyway. He said yes.
I waited one week and checked my e mail regularly. No estimate. I finally called and asked for the estimate. It showed up the following day. i called to fax the signed contract and made paid the deposit on-line. No instructions had been provided initially how to pay the deposit.
I called to make sure they had received the deposit. I was told that they had to order the furnace and that this would take some time and I would be informed of the arrival. No information about the furnace other than it was a 95% efficiency furnace as opposed to my old 80% furnace.
I have been heating my house using my two fireplaces and logs purchased at Lucky's. Still not the warm home that I have come to take for granted with my beloved old furnace.
This morning, I called and the call was answered by Lexy. I asked her if she had any information regarding ETA of my furnace. No, but she would put me in touch with Jeff. Initially no answer from Jeff. i called Lexy again and she told me she would personally ask Jeff to call me back.
Jeff did call me back and to summarize our conversation: He had no information about the ETA of my furnace, he didn't know what furnace had been ordered and only Bryan the estimator could provide this information. I then asked Jeff if he and Bryan worked for the same company. I believe he said yes but not convincingly. Jeff told me that delays were commonplace and to appease me he told me about a client who was still awaiting his furnace with an order placed in February of 2021.This did not appease me, rather infuriated me. I asked him if Bryan could give me a call. He said yes...
I am still waiting for Bryan's call and still piling logs into the fireplace.
What has happened to Albert Nahman's? This is a complete reversal of the
excellent customer service received in the past.

Second time I've used Atlas, and just as pleased as I was first time around. This time I managed to get a penny, some glass, and other stuff stuck in our garbage disposal, which had caused it to seize up. I figured I was going to end up having to buy a new disposal, which was not how I wanted to kick of '09.
Instead Atlas sent Mark out on a Saturday, when they said they would, and he fixed my disposal in less than 20 minutes. Mark was cool, prompt and upfront about what he was doing. All in all, it was $95 well-spent, and now I can get on with my weekend.
These guys are excellent.

We needed some solution towards issues with allergies , forced heat air when it is cold and didn't appreciate cold floors. So, we found this company! We had our home installed with heated floors. It was the best decision ever!
We had warm floors installed throughout the first floor of our home. Not only did it provide energy efficiency, it provides comfort throughout those really cold months. When we turn on our heater, we don't experience hot air blowing to our faces anymore. It's comfortable and toasty inside while it is freezing cold outside. In fact, I am able to wear shorts and tank top inside the home because of how comfortable the temperature is. The warmth also goes up to the 2nd floor!
Service was great! They answered all our questions and assisted with whatever we wanted to know. It is a great long term investment plus definitely adds value to your home! I definitely recommend this company for your heated floors installation. It was the best investment!

We have had multiple great experiences working with Handyman Heroes. Samuel and Francisco completely restored our bathroom and hallway after a roof leak, and went out of their way to make sure we were completely happy with the work. They were super friendly and easy to work with, and even fixed additional unrelated issues they saw along the way! We also have appreciated the ease of scheduling and coordinating with HH -- the service is very predictable and reliable. We'll be using HH again!

Honrath and Stacey is a great company. Their pricing is fair and they don't gouge. They have been our family's plumber for 5 years or more and they never disappoint. They have installed our wall heaters, water heater, and new toilets, besides fixing major clogs and other plumbing issues. They are prompt, polite, knowledgeable about their craft, personable and have a lighthearted, comfortable manner. They have never failed to lessen my anxiety when a plumbing problem arises and I think that the world is going to end. They simple say, Oh, we've seen this before. We'll have you up and running in no time! They were even honest when it came to advising me about switching from wall heaters to central heating. Jim told me that for a house my size that it wouldn't be economical, nor would it add any efficiency, since it would heat room that I wasn't in. I was ready to hire him to do the job, but he cared more about being honest and saving me money. With that said, I would be extremely confident to recommend this company to consumers and businesses. They are the best!

We had a pipe burst, called Plumbing Care, and they were out to fix it within the hour. The office staff were professional and extremely helpful as we explained our situation. The technician who came was professional, knowledgeable, and did outstanding work. We couldn't be happier and will call them again. Good ( let alone Excellent plumbers are so hard to find!

We got a clogged kitchen sink and could not do any dishes. So the next morning I called around to various local companies to have them clean out our clogged sewer line. Awais was the only one that could come out that day to take care of our problem. He kept me informed of his arrival time as he had other appointments that morning. He showed up, took off his shoes before entering our home, checked out the situation and immediately went to work. His first attempt was just short, as in his tool was too short. He called his assistant who showed up within minutes with a rooter that could cleanout the line for about 50 feet. Took care of the problem. They did a very good job of making sure they did not make a mess and were out of there within an hour. Real reasonable cost and a 30 day warranty to make sure that took care of our problem. Thank you Elite Plumbing.

From the time we called, Amanda had to quote to us promptly Ayer we sent photos of the old heater, it's location and passage way. Time was set for replacement and the contractor, Jordan was an excellent worker explaining things as he worked. An excellent experience.

Lacayo-Colt Plumbing has done so much work on our house, they are almost like family. The owner, Rey Lacayo, is personally involved in every project and stands behind his work. We had contacted Jazz Heating and Cooling previously to repair our heater. When our air conditioning went out, they were the first company we called due to our previous positive experience with them. Again, we were not disappointed. Sanny was on time, analyzed our problem and fixed it with the parts he had on hand. Reasonable price, wore a mask the whole time and put in booties when entering the house. We absolutely and without reservation recommend Jazz Heating and Cooling.

On the day we moved into a new house, we realized there was no hot water. We couldn't get the pilot light to ignite on the hot water heater and were worried that no plumbers would be able to help on a Saturday afternoon. I called the Plumbing Guys and Ignacio said he'd be at our place a mere 3 hours later. (I also called a few other plumbers; one wasn't available until Tuesday, and a few others never picked up.) When Ignacio arrived, he got the pilot light to start right away. He was super friendly and felt bad charging us (we insisted on paying him, even though he kept saying we didn't owe anything). We will definitely be calling him for all of our future plumbing issues and appreciated his efficiency and honesty.

Daniel is fantastic! Last minute morning call to rooter out my main line. First glance when they arrived-how the heck does the truck look? It was clean & looked like he was very organized-great sign of a sub. He looked at the problem & got right to work with his assistant. I highly recommend them; attentive, courteous & fast. I use them again. Oh, clean, too!

I have used Jorge's plumbing several times, from installing sewage sump pumps, rain water sump pumps, installing backstops and correcting past plumbers' shoddy workmanship in general. He's friendly, reliable and always gets the job done right. I highly recommend his services.
