Our hot water heater died very early Saturday morning.  Francesco returned our desperate message by 8 am, and came to trouble-shoot that afternoon.  He thoroughly and clearly explained the problem and the options for fixing.  He returned first thing the next day, Sunday, and replaced the heater quickly and neatly, for an extremely reasonable price;  I don't think he added anything for working on a weekend.  

Francesco was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish.  I will recommend him to all my friends without reservations.

In my new home, I've used Mario's three times now to fix some plumbing issues. Mario's has been prompt, thorough, and honest. Each time, they've taken the time to scope out the project before giving me a quote and explaining things to me every step of the way. They do a fantastic job, are responsive, and very friendly.

Sewage backups are common in Lamorinda with roots and debris so it's always urgent to get on top of the problem quickly.  And Better Home Plumbing did just that.  Prompt return of call on a Sunday and an appointment later in the day was certainly reasonable.  Basic pricing and expectations were set over the phone.  Job completed by using auger machine in the exterior clean out.  Professional, friendly, hardworking gentleman.  Other service providers can learn something from the owner.

After 12 days working with a plumber with Old Republic I had enough, the old plumber came yesterday and replaced parts and still didn't work, he came back out and said he would have to replace hot water heater, by the time he was able to come back out it would be another week or later, they were busy. Now get this husband had open heart surgery and has to clean his huge chest incision daily and now we have another week or more after 12 days of no hot water. Said forget it, called Emergency Water Heater, they said we can come right now. I said give me time to see if they are going to pay me back for this. Old Republic will refund me for this in 14 days ( I had to use my credit card). I called Emergency Water and Plumbing and they came out in 45 min , new water heater installed in 2 hours. Love them guys. I will refer them over and over , they are also reasonable. They are professionals. Thank you Emergency Water Heater and Plumbing, no more trips 30 miles to use someone's shower.

My water heater broke and I searched the plumbers nearby my home. I chose Polis Plumbing because he could come next day and his price was reasonable. I liked how he confirmed my reservation through texting and he called before our appointment time and let me know that he is running late because of his previous work was taking longer than he expected. I expect things can run late because of unforeseen situation, but he called several times to update me on the expected time and I really appreciated it. I could tell how much he cares about his client waiting and he assured me that he did not forget about me. That way, I was not wondering and waiting around. They came and installed the unit quickly later. I am very satisfied with his service. He was courteous and sincere. I am glad to find a good plumber so I can call whenever I have plumbing issues. I would recommend him to anyone~

We called VIP based on a friends recommendation to fix a malfunctioning valve. Vince's scheduled us to or the next day.
Meanwhile, we had a sewer blockage that caused flooding. Vince and his coworker were able to fix both issues and did an Exxon job.
