Best Sink Repair in Oakland CA
I don't really write reviews, but this guy was great! On time, fast, polite, professional and technically good. I had a leak in my condo that came from a broken faucet. He came over immediately and fixed it. Won't use anyone else now. In the past I've had some bad experiences with contractors not come or canceling, This isn't the case.

Would 100% trust Abraham with any plumbing needs. I had no hot water in my shower, a previous plumber quoted me 2000 to change the piping and having knock down the tiles. Abraham came in, said I did not need that, changed the cartridge and got my hot water back in less than an hour, for 25% of the price. He is very honest and trustworthy and competent. I feel comfortable calling Abraham for any future plumbing needs

As a property manager it's CRITICAL to have reliable, knowledgable and responsive people to call for repairs. I'm *proud* to say that Ben with Service Star Plumbing is invaluable to me. He has been able to evaluate, troubleshoot and quickly resolve issues other plumbers haven't been able to figure out. He explains what he does and his pricing is reasonable. Can't say how much I appreciate you Ben!!

My 20 yr-old tankless water heater finally stopped working for good and needed to be replaced- Atlas was the second plumbing company I contacted and I'm so glad I did. SANTOS Rubio from Atlas came out same day and gave me an estimate on-site that was literally thousands less than the first estimate from Oro Plumbing. Santos ordered and picked up the new tankless water heater that afternoon, and installed it the next day. I couldn't be more grateful. I had been without hot water for almost a week! Highly Highly recommend Santos and the guy he brought with him the next day to install the water heater!!

This review is not about the quality of their work b/c I did not use them. Sergei came by to look at what I needed done and gave me a quote couple days later. I asked him when are they available to begin. I didn't hear back from him. About two weeks go by and I get an email from Sergei saying he's following up on the quote he sent me. I replied When can you start? Never heard back from him. Their follow up is lacking and I'm so glad I didn't use them. I found someone else.

I was extremely satified with the quilty of work and effort that Joey, the plumber, had put into my kitchen faucet and drain. Never will call anyone else, these guys are great. Fast and respectful.

Martin and George are best plumbing service company you can hope to find. They are very knowledgable, professional, honest, and the price is very competitive. I called Martin when my water heater started leaking, George came out the next morning and installed a new 75 gallon water heater, the quality of the installation workmanship was great. I also asked George if he could find the cause of a loud vibration noise in my pipes when the water was running. George knew right away that it was a bad water meter, I had the water meter changed by the water utility company and the noise is gone. Call Plumbing Care for your plumbing needs, you will not go wrong with this company.

Responded within minutes late at night provided a reasonable quote immediately and scheduled an appointment for early the next day. When I was running late they were flexible and friendly. We couldn't fix the problem immediately so they worked until late in the night to get it done. Fast, friendly, affordable, easy to work with and they got the job done right!

I've known owner Tom Cortez and his family for over 20 years through St. Raymond's in Dublin, but when our Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) went out last week. that was not the first reason I called Savior Plumbing.
The reason I called is great service. Tom sent a crew member out the next day and not only replaced the PRV valve, but also replaced some leaking hose bibs in the laundry room.
Their man was fast, efficient, professional and did excellent work on both jobs.
I highly recommend Tom and his great team at Savior Plumbing.

Rey is fantastic. When we needed urgent service he responded promptly, efficiently and did superb work for a price that made other estimates seem absurd. Indeed, our experience with Rey at every level was superior to any we've ever had with other plumbers - or the experiences we've heard from others who weren't as fortunate to have called Lacayo Colt Plumbing first.

Not for repairs. Understand that one needs to run a business but almost $1k to replace a inductor blower which cost less than $100 and 4 screws and a few wires that can be disconnected by hand seems excessive. Other HVAC companies I talked to quote half the price which I thought was a lot already, but wanted to make sure that Yelpers shop around before committing to any repairs. Jazz did respond promptly though and their diagnostic price was only $59, but I already know what the problem is on my furnace so that was unnecessary. That's why I gave them 3 stars.

Ted is not only a super cool dude, he is very thorough and reliable. He does his work quickly and most efficiently without skimping on quality. We hired Ted to come by and fix our janky light fixture that was placed by our homes previous owner, and all I can say is that I wish Ted was hired for that job in the very beginning!
Extra 10 stars for his co-worker, Kiwi!

This review is for Paul at Honey Do HandyMan Services. I never hired him for work -- thank goodness. He was so incredibly rude and unprofessional in his communications with me, I ended up not hiring him.
I contacted him in November 2015 to get a list of tasks done around our home. We were in no rush, so we hired him for December 18, 2015. I texted Paul on December 17, 2015 confirmed that he was coming the following day -- Paul texted yes. I took the day off from work, specifically to get these projects done for Paul on December 18, 2015.
On December 18, 2015 -- he sends me a text from Lake Tahoe at the LAST MINUTE that he is in the E.R. and has to reschedule. Hmmm....sounds fishy.....but I reply that I hope he is feeling better. Extended skiing/snowboarding trip? Who's knows....but regardless, he says he has an opening on the following Tuesday or Wednesday. What about the E.R.??? Sounds like Paul is going to be A.O.K.???
I give Paul the benefit of the doubt, and reschedule for the following Tuesday. Even though I took a day off from work, due to his last minute cancellation. After talking about it, my husband and I decided to not hire Paul because his whole story about Tahoe and the E.R. sounded so random and unreliable, that we didn't want to hire someone we couldn't trust into our home.
I texted Paul over 24 hours in advance cancel our Tuesday appointment. Figured that would give him more time to heal from the E.R. or recoup from his Tahoe trip. Whatever. He texted me back SCREAMING that I was inconsiderate for cancelling at the last minute and to never text him again. Ha! Are you kidding me????
We are so relieved we went with our gut instinct and not hire this rude and unprofessional person. I'm sure he would've messed up our projects around our home as well. We definitely dodged a bullet with Paul.

I would not choose to work with Chosen Rooter again. They were selected for us by our home warranty company to install a new water heater. After the installation we were having problems with gas in the hot water line sputtering out of the tap. It took several weeks and multiple scheduling attempts for them to come look at it, and when they did finally take a look, they just said they had no idea what was wrong and that we should get the home warranty company to assign us a different plumber. Well, we did, and that plumber identified the problem (bad anode) and also pointed out some code violations with how Chosen had installed the water heater originally.

I have used Jorge's plumbing several times, from installing sewage sump pumps, rain water sump pumps, installing backstops and correcting past plumbers' shoddy workmanship in general. He's friendly, reliable and always gets the job done right. I highly recommend his services.

Plumber was fine (reason for two stars, not one star), but business hides the ball on the prices of parts. It claims it is not able to provide estimates before the work is approved. Instead you have to wait for the invoice with a price that is significantly higher than the ball park figure provided in their estimate.
They try to blame their suppliers for both their inability to disclose the dollar amount before the work is done and reason for charging so much afterward, but if you research the price of identical parts online, you see their profit margin is at least 100% (so you'll pay at least twice what they paid for the part).
There is NO valid reason for this lack of transparency. I recommend you find a more ethical plumber.

I keep getting calls from this business despite repeatedly informing them that they have the wrong number and to stop calling/texting. I did not order service, have not had service completed and would really appreciate it if you bothered whoever this Morgan person is instead of me.

I walked in just needing a small part for a leaky faucet, but honestly I know nothing about DIY anything. The woman at the counter was helpful and nice and didn't treat me like the dummie I felt I was. In and out in a few minutes, and the part was exactly what I needed. I would never in 1 million years have gotten that level of expertise and help from Home Depot or even ace hardware. Ergo I was very grateful that it was not painful.
