I had called these guys to come and evaluate a problem I was having in my tenants bathroom.  They arrived at the specified time and said the issue was due to sediment buildup and it wasn't a big deal.  He flushed the pipe and informed me he wasn't charging me anything!!!!!  I was so taken aback and pleased!  I mean who does that???  I think these guys are awesome, they couldn't have been nicer from setting up the appt to arriving on time and then to fix the issue without charging me anything!! they will certainly get my business!!

The repair guy came and provided a extremely brief analysis of what he consider is the water leak and charges a rate only for the free estimation. He requested an additional charge to fix a caulk leak. Did 10 mins of repair and receiver his certified won't happen again only to have the leak come back the next week

Professional, courteous and got the job done!  I found Roman through Yelp and asked for a quote to do couple of things before we move in to our new house. He stayed late into the night to make sure the job was completed. He is sincere and does quality work. Thanks! Would recommend.

I couldn't ask for a more competent plumbing service than Service Star Plumbing by Ben. Scheduling was easy and timely. Ben provided a detailed and fair estimate and I am very happy with the end result. This time it was for replacing a kitchen faucet and two bathroom faucets. Ben had previously installed a new water heater, replaced a garage disposal, and added a new drain line in the garage for a washer. Top notch quality and service!

I called Atlas for a free estimate because we suspected that our upstairs bathroom was leaking into the downstairs unit. First of all the receptionist was very kind and scheduled us an appointment for the next day which happened to be Christmas Eve. On the day of the plumbers confirmed arrival time in the morning (they asked to move up the time becasuse they were letting their plumbers off on a half day!) and showed up here promptly!! Two plumbers showed up I think one was a trainee and they were quick to look at the problem and wore mask and shoe covers. They ran a couple of options to see what may have caused the leak however we could not re-create the leak during the appointment. The plumber suggested that we wait for the leak to be active again before we try to figure out where it's coming from.

He also ran through a couple scenarios of what it could be and what we should look for and I really appreciated the honesty of the plumber without trying to have me to unnecessary work at this time. He gave me an estimate which included removing part of the ceiling. I could tell that they were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I will not hesitate to call Atlas again if I have any further plumbing issues.

Gil was reliable and helper fixed the leak at home. He was cost effective and highly reliable.

Very disappointed in this company. I made an initial appointment, and they said they had to cancel (3 hours before the appt). So I rescheduled for another time and day, and then they said they double booked. If this is any way they run their business, I think I might have dodged a bullet. Hopefully you all have better luck!

Our hot water heater was giving us vast problems.  I gave Joey a call and he came out the *next day* and installed a brand-new American Standard hot water heater.  He and his assistant are real nice guys.  And quite knowledgeable as well.  What I like is within their busy schedule they make time for you.  Several other plumbers I have called are booked up for days.  Joey is always there the same or next day.

The other good thing is if I need plumbing parts, Joey knows a lot of great places to go that are very helpful with their customers.  He does not refer Home Depot (I personally don't care for that place).  But he does refer you to great suppliers if you need parts.

We had a leak from our garbage disposal unit that spilled onto the floor and reached out to Elite Plumbing to come look and determine the fixed that was needed.  Awais responded within 10 minutes of the inquiry and we set-up a time to meet the next day and he arrived within the time frame agreed.  He inspected the issue and explained what the problem was and gave me my options and also provided options in case different scenarios happens.  In addition to explaining the issues, he also showed me the issue as well and walk me through the problem and how he would fix.  

He did a great job, fixed the issue within a reasonable time and was respectful.  Will definitely use Elite Plumbing again for any plumbing issues.

I've been meaning to review Rey and the team at LCP&H for a while. We had some plumbing issues at the start of the pandemic which his team quickly took care of. He did say that it would be a short-term fix because ultimately we needed a new sewer lateral. Sure enough 3 months later it was evident that we needed the new lateral, and fast. Lacayo-Colt was there that week and knocked the job out in a day and a half. The were respectful, communicative and professional during the job. They did excellent work and the pricing was very reasonable. The only tough part of the experience was waiting almost 2 months for the City of Oakland to come inspect the lateral!!! Insane for an inspection that took 10 mins. EBMUD certified it the day it was done. Rey and his team kept in constant, transparent, and quick communication about the inspection delays and got the inspector out, finally. They filled the trenches and cleaned up in less than 5 hours. They even fixed a wax ring on an old toilet at no charge and made sure everything was good to go.

Jazz was very quick in responding to my service request, and was able to schedule an appointment during the week of Christmas.  Sanny, the technician was able to pinpoint the problem as to why my furnace was not igniting.  Sanny came back to install the part that had been ordered the following week.  Overall, satisfied with the experience from start to finish.

My in-wall heater had stopped working, and after checking the pilot and circuit breaker I had exhausted my ability to resolve the issue. HVAC companies wouldn't service in-wall heaters, so I thought to try a handyman.

I contacted Ted and he responded quickly, asking for photos of the thermocouple--a part inside the heater, which he correctly guessed was the issue. He had me order the part and scheduled a time to fix the heater when the part was due to arrive.

When he came, Ted replaced the part and while doing so found a separate problem with the igniter. He explained that the heater would still work, as we could ignite the pilot manually, but would try to clean the part of its corrosion first to mitigate any need for a replacement. That worked! No need to order another part and wait. He explained that he always tries to fix things first--within reason--before replacing them, an approach I greatly appreciate.

Not only is Ted very skilled and professional, but he's great for conversation and polite. We don't wear shoes in our house and I didn't even need to ask him to remove his, he already had.

I will absolutely hire Ted again for other projects, and recommend him to others.

My door was stuck sometimes. I asked quote on Yelp with different vendors. Paul responded quickly and gave a reasonable quote. He came the next day and fixed my door within 30 minutes. He was very friendly and did a great job. I highly recommend him.

Daniel and his team were so responsive, fast and got the job done quickly, with a great attitude! Our hot water heater burst during the holidays, unusually cold San Francisco temps, and going through a home warranty can be a pain. But I heard from Daniel the same day they were dispatched, they were at our house in a few hours, he managed the discussions with the home warranty company directly, and the next day we had a new water heater!

I have used Jorge's plumbing several times, from installing sewage sump pumps, rain water sump pumps, installing backstops and correcting past plumbers' shoddy workmanship in general. He's friendly, reliable and always gets the job done right. I highly recommend his services.

For basic repairs, service is good, but If you are looking for a quick response, avoid this company.

Although we had used their services several times in the past, when we had a flooded basement we were informed they don't work past 4 PM.

Requests to speak with an owner deadended with managers who failed to address concerns.

Not a good experience. PG&E found gas leaking at furnace valve and shut down the unit. They came found no gas leaking restore the unit. PG&E came back to recheck. Gas leak at valve. Called them back twice they say they're are going to call back however haven't done so yet after two calls and four hours. Piss poor performance.

We won't be using this company again.  We found them on Angie's List and this is the first and only out of four companies I have found/used on Angie's List that I have not rated with an A grade.

We called this company to fix a serious leak in our front yard as well as to fix our backed up drains--two problems we thought might be related.  At a $135/hour rate, and with an A rating on Angie's List, we expected a high quality job and a high level of professionalism.  We were told that roots were blocking our pipes and at least two out of a five hour job was spent snaking out our drains.   The problem appeared to be resolved, until four days later, when our drains were backed up worse than before.  We naturally called the company back to try to get somebody to come back out and re-diagnose the problem.  Doesn't it seem plausible that hours were spent fixing the wrong problem and that maybe their plumbers missed something and did the wrong job?  We were told we would be charged at the regular rate for additional work, and that the invoice clearly states there are no warranties on blockages.

This was obviously very disappointing treatment.  To be charged top dollar only to be told that they would not guarantee their work AT ALL seems like terrible business.  What's worse is that we were never told ahead of time that there would be no guarantee on the work they did on our drains.  I would have liked to have known this before hiring this company at all and certainly before allowing the work to proceed.

The technician did stop prior to performing some of the repair work and let me know that it was going to be expensive and to make sure I knew how much they were billing per hour.  It seems like this company just cares about getting paid--not about good customer service.

UPDATE:  I received a callback from the company after posting this review. The company refunded me $260 but also asked me aggressively through two follow-up calls to change my review to reflect a favorable outcome.  Still so disappointing  Companies should take responsibility for their mistakes because it is the right thing to do--not because they want a public pat on the back and a better review.  Sorry, but I will NOT change my star rating on this one.
