URV were the first to respond, and Roman came and fixed my drainage problem in less than 2 hours.  This included removing and replacing a toilet to provide access for the rooter snake.

I am quite happy with the job.

Ben is an Amazing plumber.  He was very prompt, reasonable and professional.   He cleanout and replaced a cleanout joint in our basement that was backed up, leaking and well past its end-of-life.

After being a customer for 20 years, Lunt Marymor over charged us +$750.  Five phone calls to the accountant, the service manager, and leaving an email for the owner did not get anyone's attention.  I suspect either fraud or gross incompetence of many employees.  Not sure why a company would let it's reputation fall so easily, but we won't be calling them.  Plus, my faucet handles have permanent grooves from an associate's error.

These guys are truly awesome.

One of their guys came out here, charged me $95 to tell me there's nothing he can do. I called the owner, Joel, and he not only credited me the $95 to go towards replacing my toilets, he did the job himself.

He provided me with a quote and didn't charge me more than the quote.

Don't bother calling anyone else, they are the best!!!

Pipe Spy is definately a company I would recommend for all jobs and especially on complex piping projects. The owners are knowledgable in their trade and I found them always think for what is best for the customer to get the project completed in the shortest time and lowest cost.  Paul Cooper is an excellent owner/project manger having knowledge across different trades thereby making the best approach to resolve my issues, ensuring all the plans were done correctly and passed city review, all the work done in time and pass inspection and at the contracted cost.  My neighbors were doing the same kind of project with less complexity and I believe that I had a much better experience with Pipe Spy than my neighbors with their contractor.  I should also add that Pipe Spy has the general contractor license to handle all work so I don't need to do the contractor and sub-contractor kind of project which made my project much easier and efficient.  It has been 6 months since my pumping project was completed and everything has been going on smoothly and I am very pleased I found the best contractor in my area to do my project.

I am so disappointed in the service (if you can call it that) from Jose. My mother has been a customer for a long time, and now that her medical condition prevents her from managing her affairs, we were happy to help out.

We waited weeks for the appt, and we were charged $75 for Jose to tell us we need a new hot water heater, which we already knew as it is leaking, and we knew we needed the same size.  He had no idea when anyone could come back to replace the hot water heater.

Also on our list was a leaking hose under the downstairs sink. He said he couldn't repair or replace the leaking hose, but would sell us a new faucet for $888.00 (??!!) even though the faucet works.  We had a similar hose replaced in our own home recently, so I know these hoses are replaceable.

Also on our list was a new seal for the downstairs toilet- and again, all he had to offer was the opportunity to buy a new toilet. The toilet is not broken, and is a modern toilet, FYI.

Last, we asked that he clear the pipes from the downstairs shower as the two bathtubs (on one stack) are draining slowly. We have needed this in the past, but he said it would not fix the problem- despite our 45 years of homeowner experience to the contrary. He was not willing to try.

Also, he had to tell us about a membership opportunity before he could tell us about anything else he found.

Jose said he would send photos and estimates, and asked if he should send to the email address on file- an email address that is no longer active. I gave Jose the correct email address to use. It's been more than 24 hours, nothing yet. I fear he either did not send it or he sent it to the old email that no longer is accessible.

Finally, despite my confirmation with their office on Friday, he said he was not authorized to allow us to use the Family and Friends card we got after our last service call.

So disappointed that we waited, and that during the pandemic we have exposed my daughter, who met him to let him in, to this plumber who had nothing to offer for our repair needs but was very willing to sell us things we don't need.

I was extremely satified with the quilty of work and effort that Joey, the plumber, had put into my kitchen faucet and drain. Never will call anyone else, these guys are great. Fast and respectful.

Both bathrooms flooded at the most inconvenient time, so I went on Yelp and requested a quote to clean out the drains. It was very convenient on Yelp because several companies messaged back but Awais was the first to respond. I needed same day service which he provided within 2 hours! Very friendly and  knowledgeable! He explained everything during drain cleaning service which I appreciate! Thank you Awais!

He didn't make a dime off our transaction. Our garbage disposal leaked. Rey inspected it and said it needed to be replaced. We requested an inexpensive garbage disposal for $250. At the hardware store Rey bought items for several clients in bulk and didn't notice he got a disposal worth almost $500. He didn't realize his mistake until after he installed the disposal. He insisted he charge us only what we originally agreed. I objected that he visited us twice, shopped for us, and labored under our sink, so we should pay him a little more. He wouldn't accept any increase in price. Now that's what I call an honest businessman.

Unfortunately they couldn't give me better news on salvaging my current heating system. So basically just paid for a guy to give me an estimate on how much a new system would cost
However the tech Sergio who showed up was super friendly. You get lots of reminders and can even track where the tech is, so great communication.
Won't be going to them for now but would recommend for people who want friendly service

Wow, called at 11am on a Sunday and Wali responded immediately.  He said they could help right away.  Christian was prompt and courteous (25 min!), professional and friendly. In just a few minutes he snaked the bathroom sink for a clogged drain. Reasonable price. They do installation too so I'm planning to use them to install some bathroom and kitchen fixtures in the near future. Very happy customer!

We've had Ron out twice now and he's been great. Quick, friendly, and even let me record him answering questions about the dos and don'ts of garbage disposals! We're fans of Chosen!

Thank you Kirk from Valley Plumbing for replacing old taps and connecting my washer and dryer in my new home. Kirk also thank you for showing me where to turn off the water and gas to my home. You were so polite and a pleasure to have in my home. I would not hesitate on calling Valley Plumbing again, if I ever need some work done.

The heat was very uneven throughout our house and not working in some areas. There was also a very complicated system for regulating it.

We had just bought the house and although it had been excellently maintained and outfitted by the previous owner the heating system seemed very complicated as far as control and regulation.

The technicians were very professional and courteous, got everything  resolved quickly and showed me basically how the system worked.
They also were very attentive to my concern that the system should be easier to regulate and set it up exactly the way I asked.

I would highly recommend this company anytime.

Great company to deal with.  Have toilet stopped up last year in July 2019.  Well known national plumbing company came out 3 times to clear the toilet within one week.  I suspected sewer line was broken.  

March 2020 toilet was backed up gain.  Called another local plumber and made appointment to call me for estimate and they forgot to call.  Using Yelp I contacted Ygnacio B, the owner of Oakland Rooter and got a response immediately.

Jose was out in a couple of hours and found the broken sewer line. Gave us a quote on Sunday and completed the job Thursday (rain delay one day).  Trenchless sewer line was installed. Jose was very professional, very respectful, and very accommodating.  Ygnacio was great too. Very responsive and accommodating.  Price was very reasonable too.
