Best Pipe Installation in Oakland CA

I called them late one afternoon; two guys showed up right on time the next morning.  They fixed a couple of leaks on different faucets very quickly and effectively, and the price seemed very reasonable.

Would recommend this company to anyone.

Quick professional response to our backed up garage drain on a Sunday morning. Thank you! Price was reasonable for emergency work. Ben had previously installed a new water heater for us.

Three feet of water heater exhaust ducting replaced, no problems with the work performed.  Billed over $700, far too much.

Upfront that they would charge for transit time getting materials. However it took 2 hours to go 20 min away. And then when the bill arrived materials were marked up multiple times reasonable cost.

Either charge to acquire the materials or markup the materials themselves... both is unreasonable.

Well last Friday around noon PG&E decided to do a 10 year inspection of the gas meter in front of our building in SOMA. They determined that their line to the meter was leaking and by 8:30 pm they had determined that I had a leak on my side of the meter as well.

They left me without a meter and no gas to my warehouse and livein loft upstairs. The following morning my wife suggesting looking on Yelp for a plumber. I saw many reviews but Atlas was the first place that a real person actually answered the telephone.

Audra who answered the phone was very calm and friendly even though I was a emotion wreck. She told me she would have someone out around noon that same day. Frank and Selvin showed up about an hour ahead of schedule and we discussed the problem at hand. I did not want to spend anymore than I had to and explained it to Frank. Because the pipe that was leaking at the meter was old and quite corroded since it was in the sidwalk and open to the elements, Frank wanted to quote me to replace the 2 gas pipe all the way into the building and take up about 8 squares of sidewalk. I asked if he would consider taking out a square and see what the condition of the pipe was where it was buired. If it was ok then that would be the exteent of the work. So he suggested giving two written quotes one for the easier fix and one for the worst case senerio.

Keep in mind this is a commerial building built in 1931, so this was not an easy job. He was very quick with the qoutes but I took that as a sign that he had a good idea of how to jusge the job. The worst case senerio was $ 3800 and the better case was $ 1800. Don't forget this is a 2 service not 3/4. Frank said the simple fix would take a 1/2 day and the major fix would be more like a day and 1/2. I didn't think to try to barder with these guys sinceI was happy they came out so soon and were able to start the job the following morning. In retrospect I think the bid seemed fair after considering, 2 guys, their insurance, the overhead of the company, the parts and the fact that they would get and pay for the permits with the city and they would deal with the city inspector and show back up to deal with that.

I was lucky as it turned out that the easier fix was acceptable. They did find another leak inside the building after they pressure tested the line. but we were able to agree on $ 350 for parts and labor for the other leak problem.

When you can't wait for your brother in law to come and help you with the job or you are like my and are still recovering from surgery you are not going to do this kind of a job on your own which is what i would have done when I was younger. Of course what do I know about plumbing codes etc.

Anyways I found Frank  to be very professional and an easy going guy. He explained everything they were going to do and like i said he went along with 2 different quotes. He handled everything with the inspector and was here 1/2 dat Tuesday, Wednesday and 1/2 of Thursday. I am hopefully going to get PG&E out here tomorrow and get the gas turned back on.

This was a big problem not a dripping faucet. i was glad to get proffesionals on such short notice. I was greatful that they made me feel like they were going to deal with everthing. They even did a nice job repouring the cement.

I feel like I  had a possitive experience with an unpleasant experience.

Vince is the man! Comes through in the clutch every time. Always willing to show a new homeowner the ins and outs. Very prompt and informative as well. Handyman heroes and Vince in particular are me and my wife's go to for our house needs. Used him for three jobs so far and have nothing but great things to say. The owner of the company, Paul Cooper, showed integrity and honesty by apologizing for the disappointing service I had received and, without my requesting it, returned the $150 I had paid fire the inspection. I'm going to give the company the benefit of a doubt and have upgraded my rating from a1 to a 3.

Nathan came on time, kindly presented himself and explained what he was planning to do to fix the water heater. Very open and clear communications, Nathan explained the additional work and costs before continuing the work. He only continued after my approval. The problem seems to be resolved after a lot of work. Very pleased with the resolution, with Nathan's professionality, and with the clear, no surprises communications/approach.

My heater finally stopped working, I called and set an appointment the next day. Joey came right on time and gave me a couple of way to fix my furnace and a quote for a new a one. Joey did not pressure me to purchase a new furnace, I appreciated his honesty and patience in answering all of my questions. I decided to purchase to new one. I called back with more questions and again Joey called back promptly. The installation was a breeze and Joey informed me if I filled out the warranty
online I would get more time, the company changed the serial numbers so I had trouble filling out the warranty, again Joey helped me and called back at least 3 times to make sure it went though. BRAVO JOEY KEEP

Honest Professional service.
I had a faucet problem which turned out to be a loose screw. I called him, he came over in an hour, fixed it and didn't even charge for it.
He has earned my business for life!

Our kitchen faucet had been leaking for awhile. I ordered the replacement faucet, but figured out in a hurry that the install wouldn't be the straight forward project I was anticipating. The mounting nut had rusted and was frozen in place.
I contacted Savior Plumbing to help me out.  They had an available plumber and dispatched him within the hour. Their plumber, Jordan, arrived and got to work. He had to section the nut with a metal cutter to remove it, which was something I wouldn't have been able to tackle.  Once the old faucet was removed, the install of the new faucet proceeded uneventfully.
Jordan is knowledgeable and performed the repair professionally and courteously.

We had a new tankless water heater installed by Rey and his guys and were pretty happy with them!
There was a little problem with an open soldering point after they first installed it, but they were very responsive and came back quickly to fix things.
They are not cheap, but the price is competitive and I am happy to pay for good service.

Owner is responsive, polite and takes ownership of his company. The workers were polite and kind. Great customer service! I loved the technology and tracking sytem they had for customers. Very modern.

Called them up and their communications, response and work was perfect.  Able to come out and solve the problem on the same day I called them.  Very friendly guys, when their prior job was running late they called to let me know as well as ask if it was still OK to come.  Will use them from now on when I have any plumbing issues.
