Best Gas Water Heater Installation in Oakland CA
Abraham was able to fix our clogged kitchen sink easily! We highly recommend him for your plumbing jobs. We would definitely book him again.

Very happy with the service provided. We had to fix errors in plumbing created by Acquatek of Hayward and Art of Construction (should be called Art of Conniving), and Ben came and took care of the problem.

Several months ago a plumber ran a snake into my clogged sewer line (from one end only), then jetted it out. After running a camera into the line (from one end only) he decided not to continue with the snake. The plumber wasn't really helpful, and after spending $600 to basically shoot some water into the line I felt burned.
So I limped along with a root-clogged sewer until it backed up again a few weeks later. This time I avoided calling the plumber with the biggest ad, but instead looked on Yelp. What a good idea!
I saw the great reviews for Atlas Plumbing, so called right away. They came out the same day, exactly when they said they would.
Unfortunately, my sewer system (a gold-rush era relic!) proved to be a challenge. When they needed to get to another appointment they were very apologetic, and also asked if they could return after hours with a larger snake. There was no extra charge for the after hours work, which I appreciated.
They returned with a industrial-sized snake machine (which I hoped that first plumber would have done), and also set about jetting out the system from BOTH ends (also something the first plumber didn't do).
There were more complications - the larger snake machine wouldn't fit through my cellar door, so they could only run it from the street. Then the snake line got stuck! A third guy arrived to help extricate it, and there was some talk of having to excavate it (eek!) if they couldn't pull it out.
By now I'm really anxious ... but the story has a happy ending.
After much toil the three guys were able to extract a ton of roots (as well as their snake line). In spite of the extra equipment, extra hours, and after-hours work, the bill was extremely reasonable - quite a bit less than the first plumber.
They suggested returning periodically in order to keep the system flowing until I can save up enough to replace it entirely. That is NOT going to be a fun project, but you can be sure I will call Atlas when the time comes.
Oh, they were very nice guys too - very reassuring and courteous.

Kenny did a GREAT JOB for my family! My daughter flushed her toothbrush down the toilet and it got stuck causing the toilet to overflow. He was very upfront about the different scenarios he could use to try to retrieve the toothbrush (and the expense for each). He was able to do some plumber magic and retrieve the toothbrush without having to take off the toilet from the floor base (which would have been more costly). He was friendly, and you could tell he was mindful of being clean while working. I definitely would use him again, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for any plumbing needs or emergencies.

Ramnar is a great person with which to work. He is responsive, friendly, and gets the job done. We have a new house along the coast and needed to finish it off and the radiant system/house domestic boiler was the last thing. Our general contractor was inefficient and their plumbing sub had passed away. We contacted Ramnar and he immediately checked things out and made recommendations. It was obvious that he specializes in radiant and water heaters. We literally gave him the key to the property and he got things done, with no problems. He also made recommendations for the latest thermostats and configured them for us.
When our other plumbers could not find the time to install a gas line for a PG&E meter drop, Ramnar was courteous enough to match their price and get the work done (which included a gas run to a deck fire pit).
Ramnar is trustworthy, smart and a friendly person who gets things done. He's never too busy to talk on the phone, email or text. In a world of flaky contractors, Ramnar is very dependable and genuinely a super nice person. He deserves the highest ratings and all these fine examples on Yelp are honest. If you are considering building a house or installing radiant, use a specialist like Ramnar (he's been all over the world installing and is settled in Northern California). Many plumbers do not specialize like he does. If you are a general contractor, he would be my go to guy for anything radiant and/or domestic boilers. He's the only call to make for our next house, remodel or upgrade (we plan on using him again!)
Thanks, Ram!!!!

Called because wall heater would not turn on at a apartment I manage, pilot light was fine but would not respond to thermostat. Joey called me back within 30 minutes, told him I tested the thermostat by connecting the wires and got no response from the heater. Gave Joey the age and make of the wall heater, described the problem and what I've done so far, he walks me through where to find the reset button which is hidden near the top of the heater because he is pretty sure it got tripped on a windy or stormy day as a safety precaution and to call him if this doesn't work. Saved me the service fee even though it could have been a very easy payday for him. Other jobs performed in the past were timely and fair.

What an amazing amazing service! I am literally dying in a pipe burst and Awais just talked trough the technicals at 2 am. The depth and customer support is beyond what any other service in an emergency would be.

Wow, we just had another great experience with this plumbing company! Years ago, we had them repair a broken clay pipe sewer line. They did a fine job and they were one of the lower priced estimates we received. Clay sewer lines are kinda rare these days so they had to do some searching to find the right materials.
Since then we used them for various smaller jobs and another big one - re-piping the whole house. Our house was built in 1966 and iron pipe was used throughout the house. Iron pipe rusts eventually rusts inside and the iron oxide builds up to and ends up seriously restricting water flow. Again, they did a superb job - finishing the total job in less than 2 days at reasonable cost.
This time, it was a fairly simple job - we noticed the garbage disposal unit starting to leak. I checked it and was able to determine that it was not a pipe or waste line connection leaking and it wasn't the sink collar mounting that had gone bad. Therefore, the only thing it could be is the main seal of the disposal had sprung a leak and the entire unit needed replacement. I called the office and scheduled an appointment. David came out to the house on time of the appointment date. I had texted photos of the sink and disposal under the counter so he was well prepared for the job. He was courteous, professional, thorough and very efficient. It took him less than 1/2 to complete the job. The Badger 5, 1/2 hp unite was $130 and the total job came to $265! We're very happy with the job, the new disposal (much quieter) and the speed at such a good price!
Thanks Savior Plumbing!

I have used Jorge's plumbing several times, from installing sewage sump pumps, rain water sump pumps, installing backstops and correcting past plumbers' shoddy workmanship in general. He's friendly, reliable and always gets the job done right. I highly recommend his services.

I can't begin to tell you how grateful I am for Ygnacio and his partner. When my hot water heater failed, he worked me in to his busy schedule on a Saturday. Although he warned me up front that he might be running a bit later than the tentative time of the appointment, he took the time to call me and give me an update on the estimated arrival time.
Although we had talked initially about trying to repair the hot water heater and that it might not be possible, he told me to replace it instead once his partner looked at the unit. I initially got upset (due in large part to my past bad experience with a different plumbing company) and after some independent research discovered that his recommendation was the best option. Even though he was recommending the right thing all along, he went out of his way to apologize for the miscommunication, provide me with alternative options, and gave me a spectacularly good price for replacing the water heater. He and his partner even worked on Sunday morning to get the new hot water heater installed, did a beautiful job navigating in a very tight corner under the house, and left me feeling grateful for his professionalism and quality service.
Service and professionalism that is as good as it gets!

Reached out to a number of different local plumbers in the Tri-Valley area to get a bid regarding replacing a leaky shutoff value for our main water line. Not only was Valley Plumbing the most upfront regarding the cost of the project in their bid, but more importantly, they completed the work at close to half the cost of the next closest bid.
Logan showed up on time, was professional, and did great work.
I highly recommend using Valley Plumbing.

$2000 estimate to replace a shower valve. The highest estimate of the three I got, by FAR. I wonder if this is because I'm a single woman and they were trying to take advantage of me. Did not hire, can't vouch for the work. But the gobsmackingly high estimate alone felt insulting.

Thanks Justin for coming out to examine our furnace, and giving us options on how to proceed with the 30 year old furnace that suddenly stopped working. We appreciate you laying all the options out for us in a straightforward manner and explaining the pros/cons of repair or replacement!

Ted is not only a super cool dude, he is very thorough and reliable. He does his work quickly and most efficiently without skimping on quality. We hired Ted to come by and fix our janky light fixture that was placed by our homes previous owner, and all I can say is that I wish Ted was hired for that job in the very beginning!

I have now used Chosen twice to resolve plumbing issues in my San Francisco condo. They provided first-rate, first-class service each time.
Their service team is friendly, courteous and knowledgeable; on my most recent needed service call, Chosen plumbers deployed a 100-foot snake to clear out a blockage in the building's water system.
They worked expertly, efficiently and even hosed down the area affected after their work was done to please me.
I have NO hesitation recommending Chosen -- especially in a town (San Francisco) where it is difficult to find a plumber to even take your call. Bravo Chosen!

Yevgeny did a great job at our place. He repaired the water valve / thermostat which was broken for weeks/months ! Other plumbers came by and could not fix the problem but after 2 checks Yevgeny replaced everything. Precise and clean job as we cannot see anything except the shower blending hot and cold perfectly now !
