Best Water Heater Repair in Newark NJ
They are nice people and all that but really had hard time unclogging a simple toilet clog and they also made a mess out off the bathroom with pieces coming off of dirty equipment. They almost were going to remove the toilet but luckily that did not happen. I got charged $250 for partially unclogged toilet which got clogged again the next day. I was clever enough to not call them again but found another plumber through my association, which unclogged the toilet in 10 mins and I didn't even have to clean up afterwards. I was charged second time so ended up paying crazy money for simple jon. They must be good at other things looking at the reviews but not for unclogging toilets.

Adam was professional, timely, and solved our A/C issue without a hassle. He showed up, diagnosed the issue, and described the solution and cost up-front. He then said if the fix didn't solve the problem he would come back at no charge. I'll definitely call Eco AirFlow for my future HVAC needs

Excellent experience with this company. Easy and flexible scheduling with Abe. We had an outside drain that was clogged. When the guys arrived it was explained what the problem could be, what future issues may arise and what preventive measures to take as well. We were told the price upfront so there were no surprises. Ed and Pedro were the technicians. They were polite, efficient and very knowledgeable. They were able to fix the clog and answered any questions I had. It's tough to find trustworthy companies out there who are good at what they do but this one exemplifies that and knows their profession very well. I definitely recommend them.

We recently had a clog in our kitchen sink that couldn't be cleared with our 25 ft auger. Found Travisano via Amazon Home Services. They provided a quote promptly and we scheduled the appointment for the next day. They arrived on time, cleared the clog within the hour, and cleaned up after themselves, even taking the time to show me a couple of things with the plumbing in my old house and making some suggestions to our home care that will decrease the likelihood of flood/water damage. Highly recommend.

Another plumber, another issue with the board at my apartment. Felt compelled to write a review for L & C as they were incredibly patient, kind, consultative and helpful. Unfortunately, the job didn't work out, but L & C are good people whose customer service you can count on.

I just has John, from the Jersey City Roto-Rooter office come to my house in Cranford, NJ, to fix a clog in my backyard drainage system. He was very professional and was able to finish the job in under one hour.
When I called to set up the appointment I asked for a morning appointment. I was told to expect him between 9:00-11:00. I got a call this morning, to check to see if 9:00 was still a good time. He arrived right around 9:00 and was done by 10:00.
I am very pleased with the service of this company and highly recommend them.

They were very rude on the phone. I should have known that this was a red flag but I still had them come out to install the new faucets. They sent some new guy that didnt have much experience and he broke both of them.he left without puting back the old faucets and I was stuck with two bathrooms that could not be used. I called them back several times over a 4 week period and they just don't care. I disputed the credit card charges for $2000 and now they put this into collections. This is the worst plumbing company in new jersey.

Another great service call - this time replacing three (3) steam radiator valves that hadn't been worked on in over 40 years. Lou did a fantastic job working through a very challenging repair.

I called Adam on a Saturday morning after discovering to my horror that sewage had backed up into our basement and our water pressure throughout the house was shot. He came over right away and fixed both problems. He also gave me a lot of useful advice about the house which is much appreciated cuz we are clueless new homeowners. Great guy!

We had an unknown basement leak in our new townhouse. We were unable to diagnosis it and getting desperate. He was responsive - quick - and honest. I will be using him again.
He fixed: sump pump, replaced the bucket of the pump, fixed A/C condenser pump re routed, and fixed outdoor hose busted pipe.
Other things that made him standout-
1. Responded within the hour
2. Scheduled to come out to Westchester ASAP even during weekend
3. Diagnosed the problem and gave me 2 options for solutions - one that was an economical fix and got us out of the active leak situation and a more permanent solution at a very honest price
4. A new leak was discovered and he got that fixed as well

$956 for a $88 part and less than an hour labor!
I had Russo Bros. & Co. come out for service for intermittent heat and they charged a $150 diagnostic fee. It was a warm day and the technician was time constrained and their opinion was there was no issue but assured me if there was any issue, Russo Bros. & Co. would come back and waive the diagnostic fee.
Shortest version, it was a warm month and it is a area of the house not used every day, about a month later we turned on the heat and it didn't work so I called Russo Bros. & Co.. They were not very pleasant about informing me I'd need to pay another diagnostic fee, even though I agreed if I didn't have them do any work I'd pay it. Even though they answer the phone it's a great day at Russo Brothers, they were mean-spirited and argumentative about collecting their fee.
Russo Bros. & Co. sent a Service Manager who apologized and said they would waive the diagnostic fee, it was a misunderstanding and requested I take down a yelp review. They replaced a circulator pump.
What prompted the re-review for prospective customers is that they charged me $956 for the circulator. The circulator pump has a list price of $157 and sells on amazon for $88. amzn.to/2S8lN8I
My system has individual shut-offs for each pump, plenty of space to work and the Service Manager was in my basement less than an hour.
So, Russo Bros. & Co did not rectify the situation to my satisfaction. For those interested, a search for cost to replace circulator pump on boiler on Angie's list a full repair including labor ranges between $200 and $550, this was the highest range I could find, and their assumptions even use same Taco-brand pump.

I understood I was paying a premium with Russo Bros. & Co, but as other reviews note I believe they gouged me on price, in my specific case and giving them the benefit of the doubt, they overcharged me more than 42%. And by the way, there was a Better Business Bureau complaint about their diagnostic fee.
I'll never use them again.
