Mike is responsive and professional. He made time to come to my building on a Saturday and quickly diagnosed my boiler issue and provided me with a competitive and fair quote. One of my favorite things about Mike is that he PICKS UP HIS PHONE, which is not common. He was accessible throughout the process, and although I ended up going with someone else who was closer to my neighborhood, I would definitely hire Mike in the future if the need arises. He's a good guy and this is a good company.

I needed a light fixture replaced and a toilet paper holder installed. Everything went as planned and was done efficiently.

Christopher capped some copper pipes under a sink for me recently and did a very good job. He was very professional and friendly and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again for other plumbing jobs.

I hired L & C to replace my parents' broken sewer pipes in Staten Island.  They came over within a couple hours to give an estimate, and started the project a day later.  The team did an excellent job, worked diligently to ensure the proper pitch was set for the new cast-iron pipe, and had everything completed within several hours.  My elderly parents felt at ease with the workers and are very appreciative of the hard work L & C did.  I definitely recommend L & C Sewer & Drains for your plumbing needs.

Bl Piping and Heating is now my  go to for all things plumbing.  I had a leak under my kitchen sink and the previous plumber came out five times and couldn't stop the leak.  Bk came out and so far no leaks.   Bruno knows what he is doing and gets the job done.  I highly recommend Bk Piping and Heating!

called the company and in the outset it says free inspection but after talking to the receptionist I will be charged $60 for the visit. Not an honest way to approach any new customers like that!!! waste of time.

I had a very bad experience with them. My wife called them to remove our drain from the tub, something very simple for a plumber. They told us on the phone that its $85 for the call and if additional services needed, the guy would tell us in advance. The guy came and it took him about 15 minutes of work to complete the job. Only then, I was told that the job would cost $320!!!
I later found out that this did not even include taxes and they actually billed us $348!! That was after he completed the job and not before like I was told.
Needless to say, my wife and I felt completely manipulated by these people. Quite a trick they have. I would have never agree to pay that much if I knew at the beginning that this would be the cost.

I had a guy that was willing to do the job for a $100, flat. I should have gone with him.

I hope my story will be a warning for the rest of you.

Peter responded to my initial email the same night.  By the next day, we had set up a same day appointment and he was here diagnosing the problem.  He was able to explain the issue and fix it efficiently and professionally.  Peter is knowledgeable and very conveniently located in the Brooklyn area.  I would definitely use his company's services again!

Continental did an excellent job.  I called them to clean out some of my drains.  They were very accommodating, showed up on time, and were polite and neat. I Will definitely use them again.

Wanted to share the pleasant experience I had today, using Ariel Quality Plumbing.
4th of July, when no one else is working, my bath tub and toilet got badly clogged. I called and much to my surprise, Ariel Quality Plumbing were at my door 45 minutes later.
The plumber was really nice and worked hard to clear the stoppage. I was expecting to get hit with the charge because of the holiday but he told me that they charge the same all year round.
Over all, very good plumbing and customer service. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Exceptional service.  I called before lunchtime to get a quote for a new window a/c to be installed in my apartment and my unit was installed just a few hours later.  I had to send Jacob some room dimensions and a photo of the power socket, but from start to finish everything was smoothly and professionally handled.  The guys who installed my unit were friendly and efficient and Joe even helped me submit an application for a rebate.  It was all way above my expectations.  I didn't really think that an a/c would really cool my 4th floor, open plan, high-ceilinged apartment but within an hour the place felt great.  I can't recommend Brooklyn's Best AC enough.

My AC went of the fritz. I called Infinite  Comfort and they came right out. They assessed and advised me on my options and got my air back on track. I highly recommend this team. Their customer service is top notch!!

We had an appointment window of 11a to 3p and called repeatedly, someone shows up at 8p.  We called to have a bathroom faucet replace and they wouldn't give any pricing over the phone - said we would get it on site. When the plumber got here, he quoted us $450 and said it was a 30 minute job. This is outrageous pricing for 30 minutes or work (in addition to all of the extra waiting time). We said no way and sent them away.

Call these people if you want to get completely ripped off.
My tenant has called Roto Rooter because dishwasher didn't drain water, and the water was leaking.  The fix on the invoice was kitchen sink drain stopper clean.  Three trips.  Replaced the 2 Elbow waste pipe for kitchen.  For this, they have charged her $200 for parts and $732 for labor.  First, an elbow pipe cost $20 max, so that should have been $40 at most.  The job lasted an hour and 20 min, counting the time he had gone to park his car and to retrieve tools, which was treated as three trips on the invoice.  My tenant is a young woman with no knowledge of plumbing and has signed off on this without checking with me first.  When I called them, and spoke with the manager on this blatant abuse of pricing, his response was that this is their price and the tenant was willing to pay this.  Yes, I understand that they are free to quote whatever price they want to, and it was my tenant's own fault to get ripped off for not checking with other companies.  However, it is completely dishonest to take advantage of someone just because they didn't know what the going rate is for the type of service performed.  This job should not have cost more than $400 by a licensed plumber, and I'm counting higher because it is NYC.  For a similar job, I have paid $200 elsewhere.
I'm giving them 1 star because at least, the job was done correctly and the problem is solved. But Roto Rooter is never getting my business again.
