Best Water Heater Repair in Minneapolis MN
Mike came out to replace two toilets in my home on short notice. He gave an estimate of cost and arrival time, both of which came in as promised, with good communication ahead of time. My input was asked on color/materials/size/etc, and the units installed were as agreed to.
Job was estimated, materials obtained, and installation done all in the same day, leaving me with two new working toilets (rather necessary for a family of five!) and a cleaned up workspace.
Final bill was as estimated, and was a fair price for the work done and materials purchased.

Called on a weekend for emergency service after my boiler broke down. They said they would come out, I gave them my address and other details, and they decided 6 hours later (after I'd turned down several other companies who offered to do the work) they wouldn't come out after all because I was outside their service area, despite having my address the entire time. Their normal service may be fine, but definitely not a good choice in an emergency!

I've used Pete to help me finish my basement bathroom as well as a bonus room bath. I've also given his name to many of my friends for their projects such as toilet replacement, leaky faucet repairs, and used him at our place of business (flooring replacements). Pete always responds and gets the job done when we need him to!

Our pipe was leaking through the top floor bathroom and into our office area on the first floor. We needed emergency services and Hibernian was there. He showed up on time, had the right PVC piping to solve the problem, and fixed our issue. He was engaging and so helpful! The price was much less than anticipated. He saved our 4th of July weekend! Amazing professionalism, fun conversation, and our new go to plumber! Will be recommending him to all our friends!

We needed two gas lines installed and we thought the quote was extremely high from another company. We contacted Pat and he came right out for an estimate and was extremely reasonable, easy to work with, and FAST. Bonus was he was able to work in the evenings so we did not have to take vacation from work. We will definitely be calling him again for any plumbing needs.

Amazing service #4348 Josh Came out to fix my backed up floor drain on Christmas day after I had another plummer come out and do nothing then charge my wife for the work that he did not do. Josh was professional and and knew what he was doing and had my drain working in no time. I would recommend Roto Rooter to anyone who needs a drain fixed. Saved me so much trouble after having so much water on the floor and almost having to cancel the party.
Thanks Josh #4348

Sump pump failed. Called them about 8:30 in the morning, had a new sump pump installed before lunch. How fantastic is that.

Messaged John's on Yelp on a Sunday night as I had a clog in my main line and needed a clean out. Someone on the other end responded within 10 minutes with an up-front quote on what they thought I would need. Shopped around a little and found this price to be a good value. I called Monday morning and they had someone out here about an hour later. The technician was professional and was committed to doing a great job. He quickly found the clog and broke through it. While he could have stopped at that point, he kept going through the clog multiple times to get it cleaned up the best he could. I would call John's again in a pinch.

I called Chris as well as 6 other plumbers on a Sunday and he was the only one who called me back within 10 minutes. He came within 90 minutes and was extremely thorough. I felt his prices were fair, especially given it was a weekend. I would highly recommend him for any plumbing job you need.

All I can say for this business is that my experience was FANTASTIC!!! I have been in my home for almost 22 years and had several different jobs done, including plumbing and have never been so pleased, as I was with the work done by Clint. He had to remove a difficult clog in addition to repairing some damage done by another company, which attempting to do what Clint did so well! Clint also laid down protection/coverings and did not leave any kind of mess for this 77 year old Senior to clean up!

I had a very bad experience. From a mistake causing water damage to my house, to missed local code that resulted in paying twice to get the job done, to tile chipped by the plumber on final trim installation. All of the above could be worked out and some were, but overall the owners approach was one of blame and focus on his bottom line rather than my outcome. I hate to leave a small business bad reviews, but as someone who relies heavily on reviews, I wanted the info out there.

We bought an 85-year-old house and that means one thing - galvanized pipes. Otherwise known as swiss cheese, aka, going to leak and burst whenever I feel like it, aka, go ahead you cheapo and roll the dice and not replace me.
I know a plumber back east and he told get rid of the galvi ASAP. Um, ok. So I called a few plumbers. Some were really cheap, like do the math and you wonder it takes X days and Y material, how do you stay in business? Another big shop in town was very expensive and seemed like they were adding little things here and there to the estimate.
Erickson's guy, Mike, was very nice and was thorough and was clear on not needing things that the other high-priced shop proposed. He explained the residential codes to me and why I did not need certain things. He did preface that this was not going to be cheap. He walked through all the things that needed to be done and how long it took and I realized that this was going to take several days of someone working all day and knocking out walls and ceilings. This was a big project.
Their estimate was expensive, but still about 15% lower than one of the other big guys in town. But, I got a good feeling about them. So I gave Erickson the work.
They came in an installed pex and ripped out all the galvanized across 3 floors of my house. They did an excellent job and would not hesitate having them back in the future.

We have been using Plumb Right for Years. You can always expect a friendly and experienced live person answering your call. Their response time has always been excellent. Dale, Devon, D.J. and Marcus work as a great team or individually depending on the job. There is no job too big or to small and they always treat every job as top priority. We respect their recommendations on replacement and repair plans.
Our last call for service was responded to the same day with completion of the job the next day. They installed a new water heater, water softener, water filter treatment system, repaired a problem toilet, and replace another. Devon also cleaned a couple drains without us having to ask. Something we do every year. We consider Plumb Right part of our family and recommend putting them first on your list of who to call when plumbing needs arise.

All-around great service. Needed a basement drain cleaned after it stopped flowing. He responded to my text inquiry within 40minutes on a Sunday morning and we scheduled work for the next day. He was prompt and fixed things in about 30 minutes, including some extra runs down the pipe to make sure it was clean beyond the trap. We appreciate his thoroughness, politeness, promptness and fair price. Loved the option of scheduling via text too!

I am SO DISAPPOINTED I called and set up a service call to have them come out and give me a quote. they came as they said they would! that's Great, the tech was very nice. But for the $75.00 service call Jo said he had to do an energy check through my house. So I let him go that's when the pressure started about how my houses power was so dangerous! and then the upselling started!
I asked them out to give me a quote for diagnosing my can lights in the kitchen possibly adding two new receptacles and installing a light fixture that I had purchased! This was however was just an opportunity for them to start up selling the first estimate was for this: Diagnose my kitchen light install the fixture I purchased and check all my outlets to make safety first. The first quote for that was over $1200.00. My reaction Are you out of your mind!! So Joe got Jeff on the line I explained to Jeff I just wanted a quote on the work I asked for! Fair enough even though the current wasn't right.) So then Joe gives me another quote for just DIAGNOSING my can lights in the Kitchen and installing the light I had Purchased this quoted was almost $900.00. I said No Way!! So then. He called the office and told Jimmie that I was not happy with the quote and wasn't into the upswell. So I said I wouldn't pay over $500.! Jimmie said give her the diagnosis and light install and I will give her the package we have available for diagnosing plumbing AC furnace and something else and it will be $675.00. I honestly felt SO MUCH PRESSURE ! I finally said okay..
He took the switch plate off and put the tester to it pulled the can lights out and told me it's the can lights that are bad! Okay! That took him 10 minutes tops! Then he started my light fixture which he didn't have the correct wire nuts for and he left in the middle of that.
BEWARE !!! This company in My Opinion is all about up selling! So basically I paid $75.00 trip charge ( agreed) and $675.00 to have a light fixture installed and to tell me my can lights were bad. Joseph came to the house at 2:15 and didn't leave until 5:30. The pressure from this guy was so bad I didn't sleep a bit knowing I was RIPPED OFF!

I had to call the office staff on a couple of occasions after installation and speak to a staff member Alisha not only was she rude on both occasions but very unprofessional. I am happy with my product and the service people I dealt with but there office staff could use an upgrade.

Before I begin, I want to say that I have a unique situation. When my house was built (far before I bought it) they decided not to make room for a furnace inside the house. Instead, they opted to go with a furnace/air conditioner combo unit on the outside of the house.
My existing combo unit died in 2013. I hired Sabre Heating & Plumbing to install a new unit. On the installation day (Friday, December 20, 2013), I should have realized that Sabre was not the company I should have gone with. I was at work when they installed it. When I returned home, I tried to turn on the furnace but it would not turn on. I decided to look around the new unit to see if there was a power switch or button. I couldn't find one but instead found a pair of fuses just sitting on top of the unit and two wires coming out of the ground, neither attached to anything (see included images). I told them what I saw and the next day they came out and fixed it. Strangely, I did not see the fuses or wires poking out of the ground later.
To protect my investment, I signed up for their Sabre Blue Maintenance Plan. For $300/year, a technician would come out twice a year to make sure the unit was running correctly. For the first few years, everything seemed to be working just fine. I believed that when they came out for the biannual checkup that they were doing a thorough inspection of the unit. Also, since there were different technicians who came out over the years, if one technician missed something then the next one would probably catch it (or so I thought).
Things started to go wrong in the summer of 2018. At the beginning of August 2018, the air conditioner was not cooling my house so I had them come out. I looked back in my email and all I could find was a charge for $106.25. I don't delete emails so I was surprised to find no work order. On 8/16/2018, there was another charge for $108.00 to replace an ARMOD. On 10/11/2018, again my combo unit was having issues and I was charged another $125.00 for a trip fee. Next year on 8/22/2019, I again needed them to come out and repair my unit. This time at $234.00 and again with no work order so that I could not trace back what they did. One month later on 9/20/2019 they had to come out again. This time to replace the TXV at $433.89. The sheer number of issues with my unit should lead me to believe that these $300/year biannual checkups were either not being done or being done by untrained technicians.
This leads to the most recent issue. On 2/4/2020, I noticed my furnace making a loud whirring noise. On the following day, it stopped producing heat. The technician who came out replaced the inducer motor. I asked what I could do to prevent this going forward and he told me that sometimes they just seize up. He got the furnace working but I noticed that there was barely any air pressure coming out of the vents. I was happy the furnace was working so I just let it run for the night. I woke up cold at 3:00 am and saw that the temperature in my house was 56 degrees. I called Sabre again the next day and informed them that the furnace would run for 20 minutes and then shut off. They sent a different technician the following day. After working on it for a number of hours the technician told me that furnace was overheating and that a safety switch was turning it off. I asked him what could be causing it to overheat and he replied: I don't know. He told me that he would increase the high limit so that the overheating would not shut off the furnace. I didn't like this answer so, for the first time, I decided to call another HVAC company, Blue Ox. Within 20 minutes the Blue Ox technician discovered that the evaporator coil was completely blocked by dirt and dust. The reason why it was overheating was that no air was coming through the intake and the motor was trying extra hard to suck in air. In addition to this, the Blue Ox technician noticed that the exhaust vent was still taped inside the furnace where the evaporator coil was. The Sabre technicians who installed the furnace didn't know or even bother to inspect the unit after they had installed it (hence the random fuses and bare wires). Since this exhaust vent had been in there since the installation, it meant that no Sabre technicians had bothered to look at the evaporator coil, not on the numerous times they came out to fix the unit or on the many biannual checkups. In addition, these experts rarely offered solutions and were not even curious as to what the underlying issues were. This makes me believe that they are either severely under-trained, extremely lazy, or unethical. Any way you cut it, it is a good reason to go with someone besides Sabre.

I had Sebastian out to do some rough in plumbing, fix a floor drain and do some finishing work. He did very bad work and was very dishonest. He repaired a main water line and Unclogged the basement floor drain. The water main started leaking again and I had to pay to get it fixed and the floor drain was not properly unclogged and it caused me to fail an inspection. He also, in a very threatening way demanded more money after changing his bid and refusing to do the work he agreed on. Don't go with this company unless you want poor quality work with changing prices.

This scam company is a total rip off! Their prices are way over industry standards, plus they have a ridiculous travel fee they don't disclose even if you don't hire them. They are awful!
