Absolutely outstanding service! They came as a recommendation from a coworker. I own a duplex and had an issue with the upper unit kitchen sink clog. It turned out to be a little more labor intensive than snaking a drain (which I had tried myself).

Turned out there were pipes that had rusted through and were also leaking. They were so knowledgeable in explaining to me what was going on and making sure that I understood. They were so professional and nice, they cleaned up their work when they were done. They even had a come back on a second day to finish fixing the problem because they had to go into the ceiling of the lower unit.

They were very accommodating with me and my schedule. I am so happy with the job they did and they're pricing is completely fair and reasonable that I will forever call upon them for any future plumbing needs! Excellent experience!!!

We recently moved into a house and this was our first time hiring a plumber.  That being said, it was daunting to decide who we wanted to go with.  Jay from Norman's Home Improvements made the decision easier for us, as he was thoughtful and willing to discuss our possible plumbing issues right away, before even booking an appointment.  I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Norman's to anyone who was looking for assistance.  Our experience was a good one, and our issue was resolved with one visit.  The total cost was especially reasonable, and we feel we learned a lot in the process - it is always a great thing when someone is willing to explain things to you and answer questions, versus just completing the job.  

I reached out to numerous plumbers and companies, but Jay's response stood out right away.  While most people were happy to give me a (fairly high) ballpark quote which left me wondering if I would be taken advantage of for my lack of plumbing knowledge, Jay was happy to discuss the possibilities of why our kitchen sink had stopped working for no apparent reason ahead of time, before even booking an appointment.  He was able to come take a look at our sink just a couple of days later, on a Friday evening.  He spent some time discussing the plumbing of our house with us in general, which was extremely helpful as we only moved a few weeks ago.  He was happy to answer questions and make sure we understood things, which we really appreciated.  He was professional and explained the cost ahead of time after diagnosing the issue and prior to completing additional work beyond the base service fee for the visit.  

Norman's Home Improvements was a good first experience for us, and I would gladly hire them in the future for additional work.  In addition to plumbing, they also do work on electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.  We would highly recommend Norman's and we especially appreciated the willingness to not only perform the work but explain the process to us as well.

Even though Chris wasn't the man for my job he pointed me in the right direction and walked me through the process I should expect to get the job done. He will be getting my call for my next plumbing needs.

I have used Clear Flo Plumbing twice in the past five years. The first time, Bryan arrived the same afternoon I called, right after the water heater stopped working. He replaced a heating element and the charge was extremely reasonable. I was so impressed that with his promptness, work, and price that I made a note to use him exclusively,

This week the water heater stopped working again. It is 15 years old and the life expectancy of water heaters is 10-15 years, so I thought I would have to replace it. I went to Home Depot which referred me to a service company 300 miles away. They said an electrical permit and an electrician would be required -- true, if it is a NEW installation. The extra $450 made me balk.

I decide to call Clear Flo again, figuring there was always a chance that it might be something that could be repaired. Bryan made an appointment, called to say he would be a few minutes late. When he arrived, he immediately checked the circuit breaker (my first guess, too), then removed a small panel on the water heater, pushed a red button, and the problem was solved. Total charge: $0. Fantastic. I only wish I had more problems for him to solve

I am definitely keeping this company on my go to list...they are reasonable, honest and courteous staff... Had plumber come to do some faucet and bathroom plumbing and did great job...knowledgeable and quick.  Had them provide a quote and invoice was on point.   So nice to know there are still honest people and businesses out there that you can depend on.

Not only have I done several contract jobs side by side with Rod Sr and Jr, I've enlisted their services in my own home as well. Scott did an excellent job installing my new A/C. I also had Horsch & Miller install a new hot water heater in my home and again another excellent job. They are do a very through job and are reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them!

I use this business because they have come through for me prior to my experience of 40 below weather & the furnace going out.  They stepped it up & installed it.  They have always been there for me.  The best is that I trust these nice, respectful, gentlemen that enter my house.  They are truly quality employees that make me feel comfortable. They even have a lot of patience with my annoying dogs.  Thank you Southport for being there for me & having quality employees!

Called at 8:30 to say my toilet was leaking. Was told someone would be there by 1:00. At 11:00 Ted was at my house and had my problem solved and fixed by 11:30. Thank you!

Never bothered to return calls or inquiry on website. Totally unprofessional and anything but express!

On 1/2/2015 they installed a hot water heater that was manufactured on 2/10/2009.  Obviously, this didn't last long and had to be replaced recently.  Of course, they also didn't return any phone calls or respond to a request from the BBB.  If this is they type of service you want then go for it--Good luck!  I highly recommend you avoid this company and hire a different plumber!

No stars. I have used them for over 10 years for 10 apartment units. And I always thought they were pricy. I had water coming through my walls one day at our home. I called them.  The guy showed up...at 5. And told me he has other plans but it was ok. So he explained that he was at time and a half as I was holding my 6 month old. Well I don't know what to say. We need our plumbing to work. So he didn't even fix it that day. Came back. Same mood. Whatever. But I got the bill...
And they charged me $149 for parts and $557 for labor!!   Total bill almost $800. 3 months later we still had a leak. I called and said I think your friendly plumber cracked our pipe. They disagreed. I called another plumber who happens to be an OSHA instructor. Came to look at it. Even took pics for his class on what not to do. So disappointed!!  I even explained my disappointment.  They didn't offer to make it right, nor seem to care that they lost all my business.  I will never use them again!!  Don't bother even dialing their number. They may have a wedding to go to on the weekend. And can't help you anyway. I heard that one too.

2nd Update: more than a week later and still no return phone call. They have my money and obviuy that was their one y concern.  This shows they absolutely do not care about their customer's experience OR their employee's conduct.

UPDATE: I called them before posting this.  They still have not called back. We will not be using them ever again.

Doug from Roman electric came to our home today. He was very condescending, rude and extremely unpleasant to do business with. He fixed our problem, but I can't recommend them based on how poorly we were treated.

Our toilet was leaking the week of Thanksgiving and we had company coming over in two days. We called Hartlaub and they came over the same day to look at and fix our problem., From the lady who answered the phone to James who was the serviceman that came, we couldn't have been happier with the experience. Everyone was professional and courteous and all pricing was upfront. No hidden fees or surprises.  We would recommend Hartlaub to anyone needing any service they perform. We will definitely be using this company again!

So yesterday I wrote a review because the furnace technician left my basement flooded. Turns out while he was down there doing maintenance on my furnace, he broke it. A fully functioning furnace, only 10 years old, overnight no longer heats the house. I'm getting a lawyer! Don't let them in!!!

Unfortunately, this company bought A&S Plumbing in Watertown WI.  The first time we called, they fixed our shower which resulted in a leak through the garage ceiling and a bulge in the bathroom floor.  Unfortunately, we didn't realize this right away and contacted them to fix a kitchen sink.  We were charge over $500 for less than half an hour of work.  When we questioned the charge, we were told the price was standard.  Later, when we realized there was ongoing leak  from their shower repair, they refused to take responsibility.
