Great help!  He replaced two valves in my apartment and worked around some issues he found that I didn't know about. He was very responsive and got the job done.

We received a written confirmation for the services to be performed at 11:30 am. At 11:00 am the crew arrived and we advised  the scheduler, Denice, that we were on the way from work to greet them.  She was very rude and gave us a 15 min window. I arrived at 11:20 am and the crew was gone.  This is the second time we used their services, so technically, I was a client (had written a check for $400 two weeks ago). However, their lack of loyalty and management of clients is very poor. Perhaps if you are a local you are used to this behavior, but to us is unacceptable.

Great and reliable service. Very thorough work, super tidy clean up and he walked me through all the steps for the repair. Ask for Big Dan!

I've been dealing with Patrick for two years now, and have watch him at work across from me 3 years before using for the first time.
My neighbor raves about his work on re- doing the pipes in his house, and now I'll rave about him after my three encounters.

After months of putting up with not-hot showers after a recent renovation (and GC being slow with a solution...), I finally took matters into my own hands.  I called Dovi yesterday afternoon.  He answered the phone himself.  He thought it sounded like a minor adjustment and didn't think it would cost more than $300.  We booked the appointment for this morning, and I appreciate the emailed and texted confirmation.  Dovi came this morning, a little late but not by much - and I got a texted message when he was en route, so that was great.  He FIXED the issue in both bathrooms in 20 minutes, then patiently answered my questions about other plumbing mysteries for another 10 minutes.  The cost was $175.  Less than estimated (when does that happen?!).  And I just took my first HOT shower in months.  I can't believe I waited this long to call someone, totally ridiculous.  I think it was because I was afraid of being taken advantage of, since plumbing is a dark art to me.  Granted, I don't know if $175 is market price or what, but it is a small price to pay for this issue to be settled.  Thank you Dovi!!

I called this company for a leak in my wall and they recommended water damage clean restoration who came to my house and scammed my insurance company $6000. They billed my insurance company 6k to put in 4 small fans in my house.

Steve  is a busy man. I was initially very impatient. He conducted a water leak detection service.  I had a leak under the floor of my home. Steve committed to fixing this leak without breaking my new marble floor. He assured me of his success.  I asked for him to be there during work. He was hesitant. Steve squirmed a little and agreed. He said in this case,  I had to wait one week for him to be personally available to be at my home working fir two consecutive days. After closely observing his work in progress I was skeptically questioning him.  Steve is a master at his trade.  He successfully bypassed the leaking pipe through my attic. No floors broken, and I got a $6,300.00 credit on my water bill.  I doubted Steve. Plumbing is expensive. I'm very satisfied I got my money's worth.

My A/C stopped cooling and in Miami that is not a problem that you can put off for too long, so I scheduled National Air and Heat to come by and check it out. Scheduling was a breeze and they sent out Danny Pereda who was very friendly and knowledgeable, he was able to diagnose the problem and resolve it quickly. Will definitely be using them again in the future.

Had to call in an outside plumber when my super couldn't fix my clogged sink - Laiby called me back and was able to fit me in the same day. He did a great job fixing the issue, even when it turned out a little more complicated than it had appeared at first. Very impressed with the work as well as Laiby's professionalism.

I called Empire, a family run business, when I noticed a leak in front of my house coming  from the base of a tree in the yard.

I clearly explained the problem to the dispatcher. I am not sure why then, they sent out a technician, Michel, (who after talking with him for a while was not an experienced plumber) for a problem that was more complex than a clogged pipe or toilet.

Michel had to call Phil (the business owners son) to assess the problem.  It took almost 2 hours and multiple phone calls to the dispatcher before Phil finally arrive.

Footnote:  Each time I called the dispatcher I was told that Phil was 10 minutes away.

Once he finally arrived, Phil explained what needed to be done. He said he would get a proposal drawn up in a couple of days and have it emailed to me. He verbally quoted a repair estimate between $1,800 to $2,200.

2nd Footnote: When I commented I was not a plumber, Phil said he was not a plumber either?!

I waited for the email proposal and finally  had to call (7 days after the visit) to follow up.  I was told that it had already been emailed to me. (Not true) I asked them to resend and miraculously I received the proposal.

The price on the proposal was higher than what Phil had quoted so I called to renegotiate the cost. Each time I called (6 times over several days) I was told that my call would be returned.

I never received that call back so I moved on...I suggest you do the same if you are considering using Empire as a source for your plumbing solutions!!

I had technician Ronny Rivera (#2437) come over and assist with a clog. He was very efficient and very helpful. The service is indeed very expensive, however, the service great, they are very professional, courteous, honest, and will not charge you for the visit. It is indeed a premium service, but sometimes wen you have a problem at home you want to pay premium to get it fixed right.
I truly recommend Roto-Rooter and you should ask for Ronny to be the technician to visit your home.

My mother is retired and needed help with some plumbing issues. This company is horrible, they did not want to fix the problem and wanted to charge a $45 for just coming and not doing anything...and they used rude, intimidating tactics. Don't ever hire this company. Apparently they have never heard of Yelp before, maybe they will treat their clients better.

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. Try another plumbing service.

This is the worst place to do business with they give you appointment for maintenance and every time they have an excuse for not keeping the appointment. This time is raining so wee have to reschedule for an other day. Last time we don't do maintenance on a holiday. The way to do business is not the business way is has to be at the covenant of the customer. They sale you the unit and they won't respect the contract that they have with their costumers. Please stay away from that company.
