I called them because of an issue with my kitchen sink. At first, they seemed very diligent, as they said they needed the landlord to be informed of every step, and to provide approval along the way. A technician came over and told me the faucet needed to be replaced. They first would tell me they would contact the landlord, but never did. I ended up having the landlord reach them and still nothing done, no follow up, nothing. Both the landlord and I had to call several times over the days to finally get them to schedule a visit to fix it. We literally had to continuously be the ones to reach out to them, over a period of two weeks. You will guess, nobody came, I wasted an entire day. When I would call them because nobody would show up at the time they provided, they would always tell me the technician is on their way, or find excuses. This company ended up wasting two weeks of my time during which I could not use my sink. I can't believe companies can get away with this lack of efficiency and reliability and still do business. Unacceptable.

I called them at 8 am and they schedule for the same day at 12am. They arrive on time and they unclogged the kitchen and laundry room within an hour. They also explained to our tenants what to do and what not to do in order to not have this problem again.

if i could put none stars i would... they came to my home to give me an estimate on a re-installation in my home, he had to put the sink and toilet back to where they were originally, i have recently change my floor and they had to be put back... the guy wanted to charge me 2,500$ for 2 to 3 hours of work....
He left my home and I call three different companies and they all gave me a estimate from under 400$.....thief

Roto-Rooter is a good plumbing company with good customer service.
They answer their phones 24/7 and they work 24/7.
The appointment windows are usually 4 hours.
They come within the window. They look at the problem and give you an estimate. That part is free. From that point on - it is up to you, to go for it or not. Plumbing repairs done through a plumbing company are usually costly, but they usually come with warranty. With Roto-Rooter the repairs start from $220 and up, depending how complicated a problem might be.
I was very fortunate to get Vladimir (#1782), a senior technician who was very professional, very knowledgeable and friendly and managed to fix my leaking faucets efficiently and promptly. I dealt with other technicians from Roto-Rooter before. They were all professional and nice, but Vladimir was the most experienced one I dealt with so far and was the only one who managed to fix my problem. Thank you Vladimir! I definitely recommend.

Plumbing tech Luis #675, was on time, explained the repair process and replaced my exterior yard faucet with a more efficient connection and model. This required cutting and welding and yet he was done in less than 20 minutes! Plus I paid $40 less than a previous identical repair with another company. I have other plumbing projects that I'm going to run by Roto Rooter.

I would give 0 star if I could. Do not use this scam company EVER.I called to get a price quote on unclogging the bathroom toilet and they said they don't provide pricing on the phone . I'm out of town so I asked my house guest to open the door for them to check and give pricing. They took advantage of my guest not speaking English, they didn't provide any written price quote for her nor asked me for my authorization. They spent only 25 min unclogging the toilet with a plunger and charged $235!

At first I was skeptical to use Roto-Rooter based on several online reviews but they actually gave you a free estimate and that is not a marketing scheme. Other places I called were charging anywhere from 85 - 155 to come see the issue. Granted they would credit that towards the job but if you chose not to do the work you would still have to pay the 85-155 for going out there. I'm glad Roto-Rooter gave me the option.

I scheduled my service for a 10-12 window. They called me at 9:10 to let me know a worker was being dispatched shortly and at 9:56 tech 1703 (Fred) was at my doorstep.

Fred was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. Honest about the work and gave me the price.

He was diligent and did an excellent job.

Technicians Ronny Rivera (2437) and Aron Zuares (2394) came to our house on February 1, 2016 at 2:30pm and left at 7pm, we are located in Surfside / Miami Beach and our house in a 1949 bungalow needing TLC when working on pipes. They worked effortlessly in searching the troubles at hand, worked them thru, and at the end, what we paid was fair, without a single overcharge for procedures which had to be performed as a trail and error basis.
A highly recommended 5 star rating on this group.

Roto rooter was great. They kepted me informed as to when the tech would be coming. They gave me a window timeframe and then called me 30 mins prior to the techs arrival. Tech made it on time and was able to diagnose the problem right away and fix it. I was able to even get a discount with the online coupon of $40.00 dollars. Roto rooter is a little costly its not cheap, but at least I do have the satisfaction that the work is guaranteed. The tech was professional, polite and pleasant Hopefully my home wont need plumbing repairs in a while but if it does I woldnt hesitate to contact thema gain. Thank you. I am a landlord who was out of town. They charged me $200 more than what I agreed to when the job was completed and I didn't agree to. They already had my credit card so they apparently charged whatever they wanted. I reached out to the plumber immediately about the price difference and had zero response. Also, $976 for a clogged toilet repair. I didn't have much choice for the $776 as I was out of town, but to charge an extra $200 on top of what was quoted is ridiculous.

My elderly parents called me last Saturday afternoon in a panic because neither the toilet nor the shower drain in the master bedroom were functioning properly. Although it is usually difficult to get a plumber out to someone's house on a weekend, I called Roto-Rooter and they told me that they could have someone out within two hours. Luis (#675) showed up on time and quickly diagnosed the problem as a clog in the main line between the house and the sewer. He spent a couple of hours snaking the line from both the front and backyard before being able to clear it. He was the consummate professional at all times, even though he was working outside in the sweltering heat. Luis even provided his cell phone number to call in the event that my parents had any further difficulties over the weekend (which they didn't).

The only reason that this is a four-star rather than a five-star review is because Roto-Rooter isn't necessarily the cheapest firm around. In fact, far from it. However, if you have a plumbing problem that you need resolved immediately, you don't necessarily care what the cost is. I know that my parents wanted their bathroom back in working order as quickly as possible. Roto-Rooter is definitely the firm to call if you're looking for a quick response and a job well done. Especially if Luis is your plumber.

I called Roto-Rooter at 10 am to schedule an estimate. Vladimir (1782) arrived in 50 minutes. He clearly and professionally stated the problem and fixed it right the way. Not only he fixed the problem but he explained to us and to our tenets what to do to prevent the clog in the kitchen and bath. scheduled an appointment for a drain clog. the day of one of their technicians cancelled (citing nonexistent reasons) then another technician was rescheduled by some woman in atlanta. she was extremely rude and the second technician never showed up. this resulted in a 3rd call from a different atlanta woman who then tried telling me another technician would be on the way soon. i then told her to cancel which resulted in her very rude attitude despite me being the person inconvenienced the entire day. horrible business - all employees should be ashamed

The pipes in my house were clogged and Roto-Rooter came out and was able to give us an estimate about the issue. The had to use cameras to see what was wrong with the pipes which was great because you could see what they were talking about and not just take their word for it. The guy that came out Humberto tech # 1480 was really friendly and explained everthing in detail. He was able to unclogg the pipes and make sure everthing was working.

I would defenilty call them again, the other great thing is they guarantee the work and if you have an issue they will come back out for free.

Wow! Joe from Roto Rooter arrived within one hour of my call. Fixed my leaking toilet and adjusted my water heater thermostat. He was professional, polite and pleasant and knew what he was doing. He also gave me several recommendations about purchasing a new toilet in the future.

***Read Here before moving forward with another Plumbing Service***

Background:
My story is simple. I moved into my new home with my wife (who is expecting), and after 2 weeks in the new house I found my first floor (in my two two story townhouse) flooded. WHAT A HOUSE WARMING PARTY

Facts:
- I went with a local, unknown, plumber who after two separate attempts was not able to fix the problem (3 days lost).
- I called Roto Rooter (RR) at 11PM, and within 1.5 hours I had a technician at my door.
- RR determined that issue was a pipe breakage.
- The next morning the RR excavation crew came, fixed the issue and found that AT&T was the culprit. When AT&T ran their lines,they damaged my plumbing. I'm now working to get reimbursed from AT&T.

How this could help you save time & money:
- If you are looking for a plumber, who is reasonably priced, knows what they are doing and has state of the art equipment (believe me this makes a difference)... Go with a brand that is well known. Roto Rooter is a great option. Don't go with a mom / pop or no name brand (NOT WORTH the HEADache!)
- I'm sure there are other good technicians, but these two provided professional service and guided me through the process step by step. If you are in the Doral / Miami area make sure to ask for one of these guys (Ronny Rivera - Tech#2437 or Rudy Ravdes - Tech#852) and get your problem solved quickly. Good Luck!

Awful service!!! Very very expensive I needed my kitchen sink tube changed the first time the guy came 45 minutes late he said hell do it for 82 dls, I asked if it could be the next day cause my kids where asleep, he said someone will como from 8 to 11 he came at 12.30 to tell me hell do it for 350!!!! i spoke to the manager i they did not respond for the quote that was given to me a day before....
I end up doing it with someone else for 75!!!

I am new to Miami and didn't know what plumber to call, but I got great service in California from Roto Rooter, and not just for drains, so I called them here. I got their $40 off coupon from their website. The great thing about them is they will come any day at no extra charge. They came on time and they called ahead to let me know they were on their way. The 3 guys who were here, Humberto, Rene and another guy who came to help, were all polite, clean, professional and spoke perfect English, which is a plus for us as we have had difficulty dealing with some guys who were working on our new house who only spoke Spanish. I called for a clogged toilet and it turned out that I actually had a broken pipe out by the septic tank, which they found with their camera. They fixed the whole thing. I will call them for any plumbing needs that I have.

I had technician Ronny Rivera (#2437) come over and assist with a clog. He was very efficient and very helpful. The service is indeed very expensive, however, the service great, they are very professional, courteous, honest, and will not charge you for the visit. It is indeed a premium service, but sometimes wen you have a problem at home you want to pay premium to get it fixed right.
I truly recommend Roto-Rooter and you should ask for Ronny to be the technician to visit your home.

We were having problems with the community cable contractor that botched a job which broke our main sewer line. They wouldn't take responsibility for their mistake and Joe (#1667) set them straight. With the help of the camera evidence, it was obvious that they were responsible for the damage and he made it clear to them that it was their fault. He was available when called and even came to personally show them the damage via camera. Yes, it's pricey but what plumbing service isn't and definitely invest on the warranty. Before we found out it was a break in the main line, they came to unclog the main line and we got the warranty. So glad we did because Joe arrived quickly a few days later when our toilets exploded again and this time discovered the break. Thanks Joe, you were my hero dealing with that contractor.

I desperately called RR on Saturday night because I had a birthday party going on when water started to come out of the kitchen cabinets baseboards! The person who answered was very nice and he had Carlos from the Water Mitigation Dept come out. He assessed the situation quickly and he told me he would get a plumber to my house 1st thing in the morning (Sunday). That's when Hugo Delgado arrived promptly at 9:00 am. He was a true professional, so rare these days! I felt very at ease and didn't feel as I was getting ripped off. He was very patient with me and answered all my questions. He came back after the demo was completed and reviewed was needed to be done the following day. He & his partner arrived on time Monday morning & completed the job on time & within the quote he provided. Can't say enough on how professional Hugo Delgado is...he's an asset to Roto-Rooter!

During the course of the faucet install, I had to correct the technician several times concerning the correct installation of the Moen faucet(brand new in the factory box) I provided. In two of the instances, he was proceeding in direct contradiction to the factory provided instructions. If I had not pointed out his errors, the faucet would have improperly installed and voided the factory warranty. For the amount of money I was charged ($261.95) for a forty minute task, I would expect that the installer should not have to directed by the customer in order to insure that the installation was completed properly.

Due to the fact that the landlord wishes to use this company I am forced to deal with the incompetence that Roto-Rooter continues to exhibit. Today 4/28/2016 I was scheduled for a technician to come out between 4 PM - 8 PM to perform an estimate that requires labor in opening the ceiling in order to determine where the leak is coming from. At 7 PM today, I receive a call informing me that Roto-Rooter will need to reschedule for tomorrow at 8 AM - 11 AM because in order to cut open the ceiling and determine what is causing the leak in my apt they will require a ladder, and the technician scheduled does not have a ladder apparently... Why did they schedule a technician to cut open a ceiling that does not have a ladder? This is pure incompetence! In addition they then inform me that out of all their technicians only 1 has a ladder and he only works in the AM... I am now scheduled for my 4th visit from Roto-Rooter to perform an estimate which will more than likely result with a hole in my ceiling and no resolution unless the landlord decides to pay the outrageous charges this company makes... Guess that's what you get with Roto-Incompetence! I personally will never use this company or recommend anyone use this company ever...

Great service! I would recommend them to anyone. We called them to the day before because we were having major issues with our kitchen skin getting clogged while washing dishes. They came the next day, assessed the situation, and got the job done ASAP. We chose to go with the high-pressure jetting service and we are so glad that we did. The gentlemen that helped me was Ronny Rivera. He was very polite and hard working, got the job done efficiently and cleaned up everything in kitchen and outside after he was done. He even recommend a great product the company uses that they sell at a cheaper price than Amazon! We will definitely be using them in the future again.

Nice page, nice ads, but I strongly believe the company lacks of ethics. Back in May I contacted them to inquire about a leak the on the first floor ceiling, they did not find the leak, yet charged me $500 for having a technician coming to my house, left a whole on the ceiling, did not repair the problem. Instead, came out with the water mitigation services claimed I had mold in my property, took 3 days to give me the horrible results, came over,asked me to evict my house for mold treatment, when they were done, sent me clearance letter (which is issued after final testing a are done), and a bill for nearly 6k.... funny thing is that the clearance letter was received within 2 hrs from them telling me that testing would be done... I ve been asking for the results since I got the bill...I had to hire another plumbing company who came to find the leak, make the repairs, and the patching for 750.00 (which quoted by roto rooters for 2,400), and who is now threatening of lien against my property for insolvency.
I am willing to pay for what is right and in average from quotes received from several service providers (1500-1750) for mold treatment and A/C cleaning services .(350-500), $2,500.00 Max, once I get the requested proof. If I get another threat I will publish all correspondence between roto-rooter and my self, under the right of one party disclosure, and will file a complaint to the better business bureau.

Again, I was told the wrong wait time and am still waiting hours later..... Trust me, save your time and money and find someone else.

The worst, please save your time and get professional quick fix somewhere else. I stayed home for 2 days waiting for them, they said next day after I call them, so I waited whole day home, at 5:00pm they called me to say no one is available, they told me tomorrow you will be first on the list, I was like okay so next day they called me at 9:00am to say that I'm first on the line, so the whole day waiting until 4:00pm they are calling me to say that the plumber is not comfortable to leave her car keys with valley, I'm not sure what they are expecting me to do. 2 days waiting for nothing.

Service Technician Renne Montilla was absolutely outstanding. Renne responded to my home to repair a damaged, leaking, and clogged bathroom sink. After calling dispatch (dispatch personnel were also extremely courteous and professional) Renne was at my house within 45 minutes. He was respectful, professional, and resolved the problem in under an hour. There is only one bathroom in the house, this sink has been giving us problems for years and it is a huge relief that it is fixed now. The estimate was free and the pricing was reasonable. When the job was completed I paid exactly what the estimate said. I would recommend Roto-Rooter and Renne Montilla to anyone looking for quality service.

After calling Roto-Rooter, technician Ronny Rivera (#2437) was dispatched to my house early today.....Sunday, March 13, 2016. Really happy to see him show up, as I have quite a houseful. Not good when plumbing issues present themselves over here. Ronny was able to resolve our problems and also gave us advice on what we should and shouldn't do to further help us in the future, as our house is quite old. I really appreciate all he did to get our problems resolved today, along with all his tips and his professionalism. Great service....very satisfied.

Not recommended. I had the plumber come over because the toilet was clogged. The guy was pretty professional. He gave me his cell number in case anything happened in the next few days so that I would call him directly instead of me calling his company. I paid around 500 dollar and he left. The next day i had the same issue and tried calling him to see what to do. After calling and leaving several messages throughout the day i got a hold of him and he was very rude. I basically had to argue with him and, as a result he ended up sending over two guys to check out my problem. The two guys were a joke. One almost fell off my roof because he didn't know how to go back down a ladder. He was putting a camera down a pipe on my roof to see where it was clogged. They told me they had to replace one pipe and it wasn't that much to do. They recommend i fo the job myself. When I asked for an estimate they left and came back with an almost 5 thousand dollar estimate for repairs. Do not use them.

We had a great experience with Roto-rooter.The plumber,Trevor,was efficient and knowledgeable.We didn't realize that this company could replace piping.We had a freak accident where the pipe that supplies hot water to our washing machine totally broke off the wall.Water flooded our laundry room until my hisband was able to turn off the water for the house.It happened on a Friday night and they were able to give us an appointment on Saturday at 830am.Trevor was done by 930am.Price was reasonable as they don't charge extra for weekend rates.Overall,worth the price.And a good one year warranty on services.

I had the best experience with Roto-Rooter today. Had a backed up system and my plumber Ronny was super patient a thorough. He would not give up until everything was perfect, even when he had to deliver bad news about my old cast iron pipes. Could not have asked for a better experience!

I call at 9am for my water heater problem! They told
me that they will send someone in an hour! Story
short he got here at 1pm! They guy didn't even take his tools with him to diagnose my water heater! He
looked at it and said , that it was to much work for him to fix it , without even diagnosing the water heater! The lazy technician told me that he won't fix
it and just walked out of my apartment! Never seen anything like this , but than again is Miami!

I need an emergency plumbing service as the drain was clogged. Attached is the invoice, $500 for unclogging a drain, 30 min job!! Never heard or seen anything like this. Never again!

We had some issues with our pipes that required immediate attention. Thomas (#0067) came within a few hours and did a great job explaining everything to me and went over and above to fix the problem. The service is not cheap, but they do a good job and provide a warranty for their work in case further issues arise. Definitely recommend these guys to come and get the job done promptly and pleasantly. Thank you Thomas!

Beware!!!!!! My kitchen sink was clocked and i called them today. When he arrived he told me it would cost me 700$ to unclock my sink with a snake! Crazy!!!!!!! Im glad i asked for the price before he started! This is a total rip off!!!!!! They wouldnt give me an estimate by phone, 700$ for 10 min work is just totally out of line

Alberto Melendez #3571 came to the rescue when my main water valve burst. Made an emergency situation much more tolerable. If he hadn't shown me the main water shut off for building, my floor would have flooded other units. Thanks!

I have lived in my home for 26 years and have never had to call a plumber because my husband could usually fix the problem....until today! We called and were told our appt would be at 4:00. Surprisingly Vlodimir was able to come out 3 hours earlier which was a welcome surprise. He immediately identified the problem and cleared it. Assured us that Roto-Rooter was here for any other issues and stands behind their repairs. The drains work great and Vlodimir should get a raise. Had a slow draining kitchen sink and a toilet that was not flushing properly. Hector showed up on time. Without looking at the kitchen sink, he quoted me a repair price in excess of $500. Without looking at the toilet, he quoted me a price in excess of $400 to rebuild the tank. Paid the $167 service fee and sent Hector on his way. What a rip-off. Roto-Rooter used to be a dependable and professional company. I guess those days are gone.

I wish there was negative stars I could give. Worst plumbing company I have dealt with. Honestly to snake a main line $500 your kidding me every other plumber I have called no where near that price. Every agent you speaks to tells you something else. And the techs that come out honestly don't t give a damm weather they do the job or not. But hey if you want to be price gouged to hell go with them. But hey with a big company why would they care.

We found water on the floor in our master closet which led to the discovery of a 5 mo. leak caused by the flooring company installer. The nails punctured holes into copper pipes behind the baseboards. Huge mess but the guys (Tony) at RotoRooter are the best hands down!! Super professional, super fast and just nice guys. We will only call RotoRooter from now on. Thank you guys!

I called about a clogged drain in my bathroom that affected the sink, shower, and above all, the overflowing toilet. They quoted me two hours for the agent to come out, but only took them an hour. He was done with the job in about 20 minutes and everything clears fine. The only downside is the price, i think they can be a little more reasonable ($312 with a $50 coupon is very extreme for a 20 minute job), i wish i made that kind of money.
