Chris came out today to install a new toilet. He was on-time, fast, efficient, knowledgeable, super helpful and friendly. Chris went above and beyond when it came to answering my questions. He also had me inspect his work before he left to make sure I was satisfied. The price was definitely lower than other plumbers would charge. I highly recommend 1/2 Price Plumbing.

We had a bad leak in our shower and Chris came out to see what the issue was. Chris was very pleasant and professional from the moment he arrived. He explained the problem and expressed his concern in finding a replacement part based on the age of my hardware, but promised to do his best in order to avoid having to break tile to replace the entire thing. The damaged cartridge was difficult to remove but he was able to do it and was able to find the part for us and complete the repair very expeditiously. Chris's work was very clean, thorough and courteous. Their pricing was very fair and I would strongly recommend their services. I would definitely call Chris again should a plumbing issue arise.
We have a leak on a pipe, call another plumbing co. and they said we had to repipe the whole house, then we call 1/2 PP they detected where the problem was and repipe just that section, with minimal damage on the walls at a very reasonable price. Mathew explained very easy for us what the problem was and how to fix it. We strongly recommend 1/2 PP

Professional, attentive and reasonably priced.
I highly recommend 1/2 Price Plumbing, as they communicated everything I needed to know about the repair I had in a rental.
I also had 1/2 Price Plumbing come to my home to replace a toilet and was completely satisfied with the courteous, professional and reliable service.

I've used 1/2 Price Plumbing several times over the years. At every encounter I've been happy. Diego and most recently Matt have come to my place to do work. They always call before coming, are on time, and clean up after. South Florida is the Wild West when it comes to any work being done to your place. 1/2 Price Plumbing is my go to, and I would recommend calling them first. I think the prices are reasonable, and the guys experts in their fields. What more can you ask for?
I needed to have a toilet replaced in my guest bath, not an emergency but they were out within an hour and there price really was half of what other plumbers would charge. Clean, fast and courteous service. Would definitely recommend.

WARNING: ON THE EXPENSIVE SIDE!!! I called them based on the good reviews in nextdoor.com and asked for an estimate to get my leaky single handle Moen cartridge replaced. I was told the plumber would have to go out and see what I have and would quote me a price there. I agreed. Chris got there on time and was professional and quickly quoted $325 and offered a $50 discount for being a 1st time customer. It was more than I expected, but reluctantly agreed. Unfortunately, I did no research to get an idea of what it should cost in advance. The actual work to change the cartridge was a few minutes. Most of the 20-25 minutes that he was there was chatting. The cartridge was changed and the leak is gone, so no issues with the work. When I got back online, I started researching and quickly realized that I had way overpaid. I even called a couple other plumbers that gave me an quote on the phone, both of which were cheaper. The cartridge itself goes for about $15 on Amazon, which means I paid a pretty penny for labor. Net result.... courteous, on time and work done right but too expensive. If you do call them, make sure you first get an idea of what it should cost to get your repair done. Price is too big of a factor for me and therefore only 2 stars.

I had toilet and drain backup flooding a bathroom at 8 AM with an open house scheduled for noon. Called and had Matthew there by 9 AM ,drains cleared by 10 and open house went off without and issue. 3rd time I've used and very happy with service and price.

I used this company on two previous occasions for emergency work and was satisfied with the results. However with the most recent experience I was highly disappointed with the quality of work and the response from the owner who claims to stand by his plumber's work and refused to offer a partial refund for work that was overpriced and of very poor quality and workmanship compared to the remedial work that had to be done for the work to pass inspection. While I understand that I didn't reach out to them before the remedial work was done, I didn't have time to do so as the contractor working needed to pass inspection and I also didn't know they'd cover the plumbing work. See the photos below of the work from this company compared to my contractor'remedial work which was valued at $538. The point I'm making here is that if you're paying $475 for repair work to have your kitchen water lines prepared for a new kitchen you expect quality work. I will not be using 1/2 price plumbing again.

Our main line drain was blocked causing a whole house back up. These guys came exactly as scheduled (to the minute). Quickly found the problem, cleared out the blockage and then checked all the toilets and drains were working.
The pipes to my washing machine broke in the wall and flooded my house. We called 1/2 price plumbing and they arrived within minutes. Great customer service and took care of the problem right away. Pricing was reasonable too. We will definitely use them again. Highly recommend!
They are not half price plumbing at all. Charged me over $1000 to install a customer purchased short boy water heater in a closet underneath my AC handler ! However, they did a good job.
They do great work at a very reasonable price. They even came to my house to replace my water heater on July 4th at regular rates, no extra charge. I have used them multiple times and they get the job done quickly and I have never had a problem. Would recommend them highly.

Our pipes were backed up, and we needed to call 1/2 price plumbing to help us once again, and we were very happy with the service that Matthew provided. In fact, he climbed up onto our roof, and snaked the pipe, and this resolved our issue. I mentioned to Matt that I had received an email, which entitled us to a $10 discount, and he took that price off the bill. 1/2 price plumbing has always done great work for us, and we will keep recommending them!

We were quoted a great price for installing a toilet I purchased online at Home Depot. Installation was completed within 1 hour (which was fantastic) and the installer was very kind and informative.
Regarding the work itself, the old toilet was removed and carefully placed inside the new toilet's box to prevent a mess. The new toilet was installed and the flow was adjusted. Finally, the bottom of the toilet was grouted to the floor and everything was cleaned up. They even took the old toilet which saved me from dragging it out for bulk trash. By the time they were done, everything looked just the way they found it.
It's nice to see the good reviews are justified. These guys are great. I'll definitely be using them again.

I had a shortboy water heater installed at my condo.I had to get a permit for the installation from the City of Plantation. Half Price Plumbing charged me $360.25 for this. Stated on the invoice Processing Fees charged by 1/2 Price Plumbing associated to obtain a permit from the local city do repair work.PLUS CITY PERMIT FEES I talked to a City of Plantation plumbing department official and he said a permit for work like this done for me is obtained and paid for ONLINE at Plantation's website! This company gouged me for $360.25 to get an online permit plus the cost of the permit which is $107.00. The high pressure blowout valve I needed to get I was charged $275.00 and I went to Home Depot with my model of water heater and asked for a U.L. Listed valve he had one for under $20.00 .Somebody at Half Price Plumbing needs to take a course in Business Ethics. I was also unable to work for sometime due to a medical condition at the time.Do not consider to use this company . I'll let the readers decide.
We had no hot water and called at 9;00 am. Our hot water heater was old so we suspected we would need a new one. At 1:00 pm we had a brand new hot water tank. The service was fast, efficient and priced reasonably. Chris took care of us. He was friendly and wore a mask to ensure safe contact. We highly recommend Chris and this company.

You will be happy with your service from this company. No one likes dealing with leaks but 1/2 Price plumbing made it less stressful for me. They showed up on time, took care of the problem and were reasonable with their prices. They were very knowledgable and took the time to discuss different options. I've used them twice now and have felt confident with their quality of work. All of their plumbers have been courteous and kind.

They have been my plumbers for years. The only people I call. No matter how hard or easy the job is.
I called this company for a leak in my wall and they recommended water damage clean restoration who came to my house and scammed my insurance company $6000. They billed my insurance company 6k to put in 4 small fans in my house.
Our experience was awful with 1/2 Plumbing on every level. From not honoring the appointment time (we were called out of work to meet their schedule) to an aggressive 'plumber', we paid $125 to have a 'screw placed back into a faucet (even though we were told we would have a $15 estimate. Total time, 5 minutes. To replace two faucets (our expense to buy the bathroom faucets) we were told we would pay $370 to install the faucets but that they would not guarantee workmanship even if they drove away and it did not work the following day. We read all kinds of posts which raved about this group which makes us wonder if the posts are contrived. We are left we the feeling of being ripped off. Finally, we had hoped to pay with a check and were told at the last moment that this is not possible. We would have appreciated knowing this in advance. So disappointed on so many levels. I am surprised that we were asked to create a rating. Hopefully 1/2 Plumbing will grow and be better for future clients.

These people are awesome. I had a major plumbing issue in my house I called Paul and he send Chris out and took care of it right away. He was professional and cleaned up right after himself. I will always recommend them
Had them come out due to my upstairs bathroom tub was leaking into my kitchen downstairs. Also had a leak under the sink. They cut a hole in my kitchen, which i authorized. Just to tell me it was the tub! Which I already knew. Needed the problem fixed! Did not cap the faucet in the tub which was causing leak or attempt to fix the sink. Just gave me a $2800 verbal quote to replace the tub. A friend was able to stop the leaking by removing the faucet and sealing the pipe! A $1.50 part at home depo. I called the office to get a written quote to replace the tub. Left 2 messages which were never returned. Did speak to a woman in the office and requested a quote be emailed. Of course I never heard from them. All I got from this company was a big hole cut in my kitchen ceiling. Lesson learned!!

These guys live up to their high rating. I had a water heater go out in one of my investment properties just days before the hurricane was approaching. My regular plumber (great guy) wanted quite a bit more for the replacement then I was comfortable with. So I decided to call around. This company gave me the best quote out of all the reputable companies I contacted and got back to me very quickly.
The rest of the process was just as smooth. They came on time, did the job quickly, efficiently and saved me quite a bit of money. They also found that some of the repairs my plumber thought I needed turned out to be unnecessary. I couldn't be happier with their service. The man sent to do the job (I forget his name) was one of the most professional, polite and friendly contractor's I have ever met in my life. I will be using them in the future for all my plumbing needs. They do good work, charge a fair price and are very honest about not recommending unneeded work. What more could you ask for?
I came home one night and I had water in my kitchen I had no idea where it was coming from called them the next day they were at my house in an hour and proceeded to fix my problem they also help me to get a remediation specialist. They were so helpful and put me at ease. They not only fixed the leak but kept me calm there work was clean and efficient. Needless to say they are now my new plumbers
My tankless water heater died and a few friends referred 1/2 Price Plumbing. They were at my home within 2 hours of my initial call. Diego was very knowledgeable, professional. Got an estimate which was very reasonable and they were back first thing the next morning. Replaced the unit, and left the garage cleaner than when they started working!!! Highly recommend!

This company is amazing!!! We have used them a few times and I couldn't be happier. They are upfront and really want to do right by you. We had Chris the other day and not only was he professional, knowledgeable, and fixed the problem in a timely manner, he was so nice!! He didn't just fix our problem but went above and beyond for us. He noticed we had water damage and immediately got on the phone to help us get it fixed. Most companies make you feel like a number and that they just want your money. After receiving notification from the city that I had a water leak on my property, I needed a plumber fast. I called 1/2 Price Plumbing and Chris was here within two hours. So fast! He discovered the leak at my water heater and was out bright and early this morning with a brand new water heater. He did such a beautiful job with the installation, was very friendly and easy to talk to. He was happy to answer any questions I had and had my hot water back to me in no time at all. Employees are honest, and professional. Quick response time. Extremely efficient and knowledgeable.
The plumber that was assigned to perform the job was here on time. If i remember right his name was Erick. He was very professional and courteous. He explained what he was going to do and explained that we were going to need extra service in the near future. I kind off knew that what he said was true. I have 7 days to decide what i'm going to do with the extended service, I will definitely use them again.
This company was highly recommended by my family and best friend. They just completed the work at my home in Hallandale Beach, FL. I'm so happy with their work, responsiveness and professionalism. They are one of the best companies I've ever used. I have 8 homes, and I will use them for all my plumbing needs. I am always using contractors, but I have only written 2 of these reviews in the past. 1/2 Price Plumbing is one of those exceptional cases. I was referred to this company by a relative who heard they were good. But to my disappointment, they are actually horrible. I scheduled an appointment to have somebody come out to my property today to give me some estimates on plumbing work and I was given an arrival window of 2 PM to 4 PM. I waited there from 2 PM to 5 PM and still nobody showed up. When I called the owner of the company, his only answer to me was, oh I'm sorry I meant to call you but I had to send emails and kept getting phone calls. Adding that my guys were shorthanded today. Not a single apology or suggestion or offer to come out that day, or any other day for that matter. Absolutely reprehensible, and a colossal waste of my valuable time. I would not recommend this company to anybody.
We had Half Price Plumbing worked in our new home as we suspected the previous owners didnt take care their pipes right, you could notice the water was draining slow and eventually the pipes filled up. HPP helped us out in every way possible, including financially. They didnt break our bank as we thought it might have been with other plumbing companies. Matt, the technician that came to our home, was very friendly and you can notice he loved his job, he seemed very dedicated. He helped us out every way he could. We could not have been any happier with his approach. He genuinely wanted to give us the best price possible. He even helped me to get a stuck little screw out of my food disposer. We had a small leak in the toilet + a number of other smaller issues. I called and spoke to Paul who sent Chris out two days later (he was ready to send the Tech out the next day, but I was the one who requested the delay). In any case, Chris came out and fixed not only the leak, but the other minor issues that we had. He was very professional and polite.
This is the second time that I call 1/2 Price Plumbing and I have never been disappointed. They are very professional and the price is very reasonable. Like I said before, this is the second time I call on 1/2 Price Plumbing and I will continue to do so. I highly recommend them.

Paul was amazing along with his Team. He gave me a fair price for a water heater replacement and provided exceptional service. I called various other companies and the prices were outrageous. Originally his earliest availability was Wednesday early morning; however, he was able to get one of his technicians to come out in the afternoon and take a look and ended up being able to replace the whole water heater in just a couple hours. When i called and examined the issue I was having he already knew based on the location of my home where my water heater was located and the size, as he had previously worked on other homes in the area with similar layout. After making a phone call, they came out in 2 hours and was able to take care the problem.
Efficient, professional and extremely pleasant team.
Finally, I found a great plumber I can recommend.
I've used them twice. Once for a clogged kitchen sink and they were great. Came out fast and fixed the problem the same day.m and had the best quotes price. I called the again when a piece of cloth got stuck in my garbage disposal and I was able to fix the disposal but there was a persistent leak when I reattached the disposal to the sink. I informed them that the issue was not the disposal, both over the phone and on yelp when we requested service, and the person on the phone seemed to understand even though we were also quoted a price for a new disposal installation. When the plumber came he didn't bother to look at anything and told us we needed a new disposal. We tried telling him no but he was adamant, therefore my husband asked him to leave. We were quoted $275 for new disposal and labor. I you tubed and watched enough videos and for less than $40 and 3 new parts, i fixed the leaking sink myself. I hate being the one to only post something negative, but the gentleman who came out and refused to even try to find the problem warrants a negative review.
Outstanding service. Next day appointment and actually came earlier then expected (they called first to confirm). Chris quickly fixed my garbage disposal instead of trying to sell me a new one. Saved me hundreds. Fast, friendly, and honest service.

I had a leaking water heater. I called them and Chris came out the same day. My water heater was replaced the next day. Chris, my service technician, was very professional and always on time. I needed to have additional work done in my utility room and Chris came out to uninstall and later reinstall the water heater so the other trades could do their work.
I'm not sure that their rates are really half price but I would say that they do excellent work.
Chris came and installed a new kitchen sink for my mother's condo. He had a good attitude and worked fast! Also great prices compared to other quotes. And he gave us a hand soap pump that matched our sink that he had laying around in his van. Will definitely use them again. Thank you!
