They quoted the job, showed up....a little late but they contacted me, did the job and cleaned up.
They also undid the hose outside for me, since it froze last night.  I appreciated their help.
I would hire them again.

I've asked McCann to come in for everything from a basic faucet repair to replacement of multiple fixtures across several bathrooms over the course of several years.  When it's been critical to the point where I'm considering shutting off the water to the house, they're there quickly.  

Every tech they've sent has been knowledgeable and able to explain and rapidly correct the problem.  Superior professionalism and honesty.  They are my absolute go-to for the Leavenworth/Lansing area.

We had a large flood in our downstairs, caused by drains overflowing and not working. Scott came and fixed it while educating my husband and myself on the importance of regular maintenance of our drains. He was very professional and courteous and even left us some of the drain cleaner they recommend. Thank you all so much!! We will definitely be calling you again when needed!

Next time I need plumbing services I am 100% calling them. Service was great, quick, and easy. The price was also beyond reasonable (not to mention they do free estimates!) Monica who answers the phone was always very prompt and professional. Travis is who came over and helped me. He was knowledgeable and friendly. I also appreciated how nice he was to my clingy dog. He walked me through everything he was doing and even taught me a few things! All in all I am extremely pleased.

Todd is intelligent and diligent and has been selected as a preferred contractor by the City of Lawrence for their Eco-flow program replacing sump pumps that discharge to the City sanitary sewer system instead of the storm water drainage system. He is professional, clean, and value priced. The only problem is that he's busy, so expect to make an appointment!

We are so happy with our experience working with Snake 'n' Rooter Plumbing Company.  They were very responsive to messages and answered all of my questions, including giving me an hourly quote prior to coming out.  They didn't ask me to call them for the quote, all communication was via messaging which I loved.  Once Bryan showed up he worked hard to replace my shower handles but we discovered that the shower parts were so old we would have to replace the valve, handles, and showerhead.  Since Bryan was already familiar with what needed to be done, he agreed to come back out after I purchased the new parts and install everything.  The shower works great and the new hardware looks amazing.  An all-around excellent experience and I highly recommend them.

My first appointment they no-showed me. Struggled to try to work with them but I had one more task they promised to complete but they no-showed me on that too and never could get a callback. Spent a decent chunk of money there and not sure I'm any better off than when I started.

Ron was a pleasure to work with.  Very personable, great communication,  He listens to your needs, works efficiently, gets the job done, leaves the area clean, arrives when he says he will and is very easy to work with.  After he was finished we talked to him about other plumbing work in the basement.  He gave us an estimate on the spot and we will be calling him to have him do the work.

The work was good but charged very high rates, $200+ per hour for labor. I had no choice but to pay as my AC was not working. So, call someone else if you need something fixed urgently.

My first experience with LJ was in August 2018 when he replaced my sump pump and repaired a leaking faucet. While away last year during the pandemic, my daughter checked on our place frequently and discovered the sump pump was no longer working, contacted LJ, and he came out immediately. Since the pump was under warranty, he replaced it only charging for his labor. LJ responded quickly to two other issues with a leaking pipe and faucets during the time we were away. Upon our return last month one of our shower faucet only had hot water. I called LJ and within an hour he arrived cleaned our the valve and resolved the issue. LJ has become my GO TO Plumber and I highly recommend him!

We discovered a leak in our kitchen pipes (under the sink, leaking into the ceiling of the room below) at about 4:58 p.m. on a Friday night. Our former go to plumber evidently  now does NOT do plumbing any more, and several recommended local and regional plumbers informed me (some of them a bit snootily) that they didn't do emergency or after hours work.

Well, that was our only choice...my husband and I both had to be back at work on Monday morning, so we HAD to find someone who DID do emergency and after hours plumbing.

That's when I reached out to Blue Duck. They were very responsive and eager to help. Their rep was at our house Saturday afternoon and did a thorough triage on what needed to be done. And it was a job and a half.

Let me back up and explain - those kitchen pipes were AWFUL. Old, nasty cast iron stitched together with PVC pipe - in a bewildering configuration that leaked, clogged and backed up with frightening regularity. This spiders' web of pipes had been band-aided, patched and repatched for decades (even long before we bought this house, which was almost 20 years ago...). So it was a dire situation and no easy fix (see the before and after photos.)

But the Blue Duck master plumber didn't even bat an eye. He knew exactly what needed to be done and even suggested some improvements that should be made. It took most of the day Sunday but the new pipes and configuration are amazing. We are very, very pleased with their work and when the next plumbing emergency happens (and you know it will, and I guarantee it will happen after 5 p.m. on a Friday) they will be the first and only plumber I need to call. They're terrific!

I had some simple removal work done that took the guy about 2.5 hours, including the infinite time he spent vacuuming up a tiny square of drywall dust, and somehow he managed to come up with a total cost of over $1100 for two and a half hours' worth of work.

When I questioned it, the cost magically went down to $800, but hell will freeze over before I ever pay $300/hr for a plumber again.  This was not difficult work - it was all readily accessible, and only involved capping two water lines and patching two vents/drains where the drain was removed

He also took the copper pipe that he removed with him, though it's probably my fault for not saying I wanted to keep it.

To their credit, the plumber was very nice, but the price was so outrageous that I will never use them again.

If I could give less stars, I would. Our water pressure began to get worse and worse. Called our city utilityman to check and he said there was no leak, but we need to replace our PRV(Pressure Regulator Valve) He said it would be an easy fix and we could do it ourselves. It looked tricky so we called Roto Rooter for second opinion before we attempted to fix ourselves. They tried to charge us $650 to change PRV. Then went on to say we did in fact have a water pipe leak and said it could be between $5,000-$20,000! My husband talked to his dad and he told us how to check for leak ourselves(we are new homeowners) and there was no leak!! We think they loosened our water to look like we had a leak! Then my husband and his dad changed out the PRV for $85 in less than an hour! Boom, fixed! So, they lied to us, made us think we couldn't fix on our own bc we didn't have $3,000 tools, and tried to charge 6-7 times the cost of part to fix. Also, as we were talking I realized we had an AB May warranty and they said they wouldn't help us at all and tried to talk us out of going to them. VERY unhappy with the way they treated us.

The business is posted twice with slightly different names, but it's still the same crooked business.
Jay no longer works the field, he only handles the business side, leaving his less than reputable wife, and her mentally challenged son to destroy anything left of the reputation that Jays pluming had.

I hired them to replace my main water line, they were running average of all the bids.  They guaranteed that I would be satisfied with their service and were very professional.... That's a lie!!!

One of the crew propped open the truck door and urinated in my driveway! I have a 15 year old girl that lives across the street and several girls behind us! Let alone, it was in my driveway!!!
Their best employee was bidding out work on my house, for off the clock extra work. Their manager, Jays step son, threw his trash out in my yard, and when I said something his response was it'll get buried when we fill the hole! Not the point!
They filled the gap where the new line comes into the house with window caulking instead of seam sealer or plumbers putty, they didn't reconnect my ground rod to my electrical panel and left me with deplorable excavating! My meter well is 6-8 inches below grade and I had a super high hump in my yard because they didn't finish!
Then Jays wife came to my house and demanded to be paid! Hey finish the job first!  Let alone they broke the law and didn't seed the raw dirt that law required!

Stay away from them!
This is a terrible company
They go through employees like drill bits because they pay them or they short them. An employee can put a lien on your house to collect payment.
