I had a toilet that would not flush.

Found Duck Duck Rooter plumbing and septic after a call to another place that couldn't come out for two days and couldn't tell me what time.

The first thing that impressed me about Duck Duck was they were actually able to give me an accurate time window for their arrival. And arrived the next morning!

They sent an experienced person who actually knew what he was doing. A true professional.
They sent Marcel.  He is very skilled at his profession. He was not able to solve the problem right away but paused the service time for me while he called his manager and got some new equipment. Within an hour his manager showed up with the equipment and cleared out my pipes. They stayed the full hour and 15 minutes until the job was done.  

The price was very reasonable.

I am impressed. I will call Duck Duck Rooter for all my plumbing and septic needs and I'm definitely telling all my friends about them.

Jerry was great! I requested a last-minute garbage disposal replacement & installation and Jerry scheduled an appt for 2 days later in World Golf Village. He supplied the garbage disposal and installation was quick. His price was extremely reasonable. I will definitely keep Everybody's Plumbing Co in my contacts for future plumbing jobs!

Two other plumbers were unable to fix the problem but Peyton Plumbing quickly identified several major issues with my septic system installation. The gentleman who came out was very informative and professional. Told me about my options and the cost for all. Even though I as  a homeowner decided not to use them at this time; they provided prompt professional service and I WOULD recommend them as plumbing professionals!

I have two bathrooms in my home and both shower stems were leaking I called made an appointment and was called The Day of the appointment by Bryan who was here very fast after he called, he is very courteous and professional fix my problem and the rate was very reasonable I highly recommend these people. They are also used by my son and his neighbor in Orange Park.

Dan has done several jobs for us, the latest being a dishwasher removal and new install.  We are beyond pleased. He is extremely fair in his prices,  does a great  job and he is very professional and courteous.  We're glad we found him and we highly recommend his company.

My husband and I had an urgent plumbing issue. We contacted Josh and he was out at our house the next day. In less than 2 hours he not only found the problem, but fixed it as well. Him and his employee were friendly and very knowledgeable. They left our bathrooms very clean. Their prices are very reasonable. We will not hesitate to call All Around Plumbing again! I highly recommend them!

I had a 4 piece tub/shower installed for $2,950. It was not worth the money or hassle. It was a surprise to see the tub because they sent a picture of a computer screen with pictures of the tub and said this is the best I can do. They stated that the tub was standard but failed at acknowledging a curve that would show a concrete slab. Their solution? Put 1/2 round across leaving a 2in gap still exposing concrete and 2-3 inches of caulk smeared on the tub where they glued the 1/2round with caulk (they also tried to use finishing nails in concrete) and wiped the excess. There were a few other things but they came out and fixed the 1/2 round by cutting it to 45° and then a few days later all the caulking started to crack and pop off the tub. They again came out to fix the problems but then ripped off the 1/2 round because it was not PVC and then proceeded to ruin our new floor....they spoke to my wife in a very condescending tone. The finish on their work leaves a lot to be desired.

The worst company I ever called. We will never call and get insulted again. Take your money and run for the hills.

Outstanding plumber, repair and handyman. My first list was plumbing needs from changing faucets to fixing leaks and water heater issues. Second list included grouting, changing a light to ceiling fan and did some small handyman work. He quoted a price that was that was right in the ballpark!
My list was checked off and I am very pleased with his professionalism and hard work. He's a get to the point and focuses on doing the job right the first time.

I recently had a water heater replaced that Oakley Plumbing installed.  They did a good job, except Bryan needs to learn how to clean up after himself.  Then a few days later I had issues with hot water in my shower.  I was told it would cost $60 for the filter and $115 for labor.  I was at work when the work was done (they entered via a lock box) and when I arrived home I was shocked how filthy the shower area was.  I had just had my place repainted a few weeks ago and the greasy hand prints left behind on the walls....not okay...and my new shower curtain had to be washed because Bryan got that dirty as well.  Then I receive my credit card bill and I was charged almost double what I was quoted!!!  No conversation as to why and I never received a bill.  This type of business practice is unacceptable!!!  I wanted to be supportive of a business owner by a Veteran, but I can't support a business that doesn't clean up after themselves and charges my credit card without authorization of a different amount!!!!

Awful. Had them do a really-plumb and they never came got the final inspection done. I had to do it in my own. Called again for a problem they found with the clean out. No show and no call for the appointment, even though they said they did. Office staff were no help and not engaging at all. Asked for my invoice to be emailed to me and they said it would take 24 hrs. Why? So disappointing. Always looking for help with my rental properties and they definitely weren't help

Go to close on the sale of my rental house they did the work on and they never closed the permit from 2 years ago and it delayed my closing. Also just checked my credit card charges and they charged me $500 more than my paid invoice shows. This has been a nightmare to deal with them and I'm shocked they are still in business

This firm was recommended by another trusted vendor who has impeccable credentials. They scheduled the appt the same day. The technician Eddie was very professional and sized up the issue right away. Got they blockage resolved and tested thoroughly to make sure this would reoccur and everything was secure. Great experience. Glad I called. Would recommend to everyone

Update to my previous review. David Gray recently gave me a ridiculous quote of $300 to install a Reverse Osmosis (RO) water filter and $700 to install a water softener. I decided to install the water softener myself (took 2 1/2 hours). I had not yet installed the RO unit when my tankless water heater developed a problem. Even though I had purchased the heater from David Gray, I called Griffin Service. They came same day and diagnosed the problem (faulty gas valve) and promised to return the next day with a new part. When they did, I asked about installing the RO unit. The gas valve diagnosis and replacement was going to cost $275.00 and the technician quoted me an additional $100 (not $300) to install the unit. He was finished in 45 minutes.

As a side note, when I received my bill from David Gray to come out and give me the estimate to install my plumbing fixtures, they billed me the $1,000 quote instead of the $49 estimate fee! If you want incompetent and overpriced, call David Gray.

I have an undetected  leak in the house, that per city meter it's about 100GL/hour.  I called Roto-Rooter and requested a professional specialized on water leak detection. I was told the cost was $199.00 an hour. I was told that since a listening device is needed , I had to wait 2 days for the technician to come to my house. When the technician arrived he said he couldn't use the leak detector device because the house didn't have a water shutoff valve.  I was so surprised, because even though I'm not knowledgeable, common sense says the water valve needed to be open for the leak to be detected. Actually, I found out later he didn't have the a water leak detector on him. He kept walking around the house and from a room to another. He lied to me from the time he arrived to the time he left my home. I called Roto-Rooter to complain about Mr. Alexander's behavior and they sent another technician, this time with the leak detector device who said that make nonsense to shutoff the water to detect a leak (Like I thought).  Roto-Rooter will never again be in any property I own.  Unfortunately 1 star is lowest score I can give, because 1 start is too high.
UPDATE:
Today I called another company: American Leak Detection. The technician was very knowledgeable and had among his tools a tank of gas which was plugged in a water faucet. Took him 10 minutes to find the leak, which I  could hear the bubble noises under the slab without the ear phone. Roto-Rooter guy want  to send another technician to check the pool because he was 100% sure there was no leak within  the house perimeter so it must be in the yard. Incompetents.

Charged $500 to replace a capacitor on my a/c. Industry  standard between 250 -350. No other issues. Just happened today 3/23/23. My husband was home and a little panicky about no ac with temps getting in 80's today. Only a 2 ton unit. Small house. Eon't call back.

Very reliable and prompt with service. They came out to drain our kitchen sink and replace a disposal. All was done quickly! The man was very knowledgeable and answered our many questions. He also left the place clean like he was never there. Everything worked perfectly fine, the ladies that handled my calls were very informative and kept great communication. I would highly recommend!

We had a problem with our hot water heater. Being on a fixed income this was a big problem. Dave Turner Plumbing was amazing helping me figure out what was wrong. I removed the elements and took them up to Turner's and Dustin checked them out. No problem with them. He suggested to check out the thermostat. I took the thermostat up to Turner's and that was the problem. For twenty dollars for a new thermostat,problem solved! Thank you Dustin for amazing customer service!
