We had an emergency situation where our water heater turned in to a hazard because something was wrong with how it was handling the gas intake. Mark not only caught the problem, he was able to fix it for us and mitigate the danger for our family. He did this all at a very reasonable price. Thank you so much!!!

I disagree with previous posters. Brandon has been coming to my house, my parents house and has been referred to plenty of family and friends that are very pleased with his service and availability for the last 5 years. His work is clean, it has a warranty in case anything goes wrong, he is prompt and courteous and I've never had anything go badly with his visits. He has repaired a clogged main sewer line, replaced a leaky toilet, installed a sump pump and much much more.

They were able to come out very quickly, and address my problem. A previous sprinkler company had left a bunch of drains open in my sprinkler system, and Backflow testers were able to come the very same day I found the problem and tighten everything down. The tech was even able to show me how to test for and fix the problem myself in the future which was incredibly helpful. Will be using them for all my sprinkler needs in the future!

We have been having an issue with one of our two AC units for a few weeks. It would work most days and most evening but if it got too hot and it got behind, it would run but only for a while and then stop completely. It would come back on at some point in the middle of the night and be fine.
I called Sunshine on a Friday (last Friday) and was told that Jared would be coming out on Saturday..perfect! He showed up early after a phone call to make sure that was okay, even better! After looking at the air handler (not the AC..at all) I was told that it could be a transformer or a motherboard. I was also told to replace my filter with cheaper ones so that the unit could get more air. Try this for a few days and they will make another appointment for me for a hotter day so that he could come back to see if the unit would reproduce the issue. After he had left we turned the unit back on to try to cool things off some before it got too far behind. Not only was were we too far behind but now the unit wasn't talking to my AC at all and all it was doing was circulating hotter and hotter air. My bedroom got up to 87 degrees. Not good for sleeping.
I called Sunshine back at 7:30a on Monday and got a message service (I believe) and was told that they would forward the message to dispatch. I called back at 8:30 since I hadn't heard anything, they had not gotten the message. Not only that but the earliest they could send someone was Tuesday. Really?? Not only was the situation worse than before they came out to check it but now we have to wait yet another day and there is still no guarantee that the issue will be resolved.
Is this review premature? Perhaps but as of right now customer satisfaction is not a huge concern from where I'm sitting.
I will edit this review if things work out..or even if they don't.

I called to schedule an appointment and they confirmed day and time for my Water Heater Tune-Up. Well... the day arrived and they called me just 2 hours before the appointment windows to say that all the technicians are busy and what about if we call you sometime next week to re schedule the appointmen?t. Obviously they had something more important or other expensive job to do and they just moved mine to another day. You know what? forget it. Is my first and last call to this company.
The other pain in the neck from this company is that once you give them your address they will start sending you unsolicited ads by postal mail. I tried everything to stop receiving their postal ads from calls, letters, reports to the BBB and more without luck. They keep sending me their unsolicited mail without respect for my requests and privacy
Update 5/12/2014: I keep receiving Postal Ads from AAA Service even after 3.5 years of phone calls, letters and BBB Complains totally ignored by this Company. Please avoid calling this company... once you give them your address you will flooded with ads with the owner smiling everywhere...

Done was outstanding. They were professional, thorough, and absolutely committed to 100% customer satisfaction. Our technician, Jack Higgins,, was exemplary. He had to replace two furnaces for us. He arranged the electrician, pulled the permits, installed the furnaces perfectly, made sure it was interoperable with the AC and humidifier, brought it up to code (as we hand our furnace for 18 years) answered all of our questions, and spent the entire day making sure it was a perfect installation. Jack was outstanding, honest, and complete. The pricing was good, the service was better than the others. I give them an A+. You can trust them and have high confidence that it is done perfectly.

Great company. I had CPH&D come in for a whole house plumbing install and hookup of a toilet, sink and bathtub in a new bathroom. The techs (Shane and Michael) were always on time, very friendly, and did excellent work and very thorough and careful as I had provided the vanity (expensive recycled wood), sink (hammered copper), faucet, toilet and bathtub (claw foot) and none of those would have been considered cheap at least to me, so I was concerned about any potential damage during the installation of those items. Not a problem. I highly recommend these guys and very pleased with their work! Thanks guys!

I called and got an estimate on a couple large plumbing jobs. The technician they sent the first time seemed very knowledgeable. However...a couple days later I needed someone to come over asap and change some washing machine valves. I needed the job done asap because of another unrelated home improvement job. A different technician came by the next day and replaced the valves. About an hour after they left I noticed one was leaking, I called and they sent the same guy back over the next day to fix it. He said he fixed it and was about to leave when I noticed it was still dripping! Absolutely terrible quality control and attention to detail. I said im sorry but that is still dripping and will need to be fixed yet again. He then removed all the problematic fittings and replaced them with a different style of valve and soldered it into place. Finally not dripping he left. Needless to say I'm not planning on hiring them for the remaining major plumbing job. It is mind boggling to me that the technician didn't check his work for leaks on either occasion!

I was driving on Interstate 70 eastbound when I was tailgated by a Mac Vik Plumbing and Heating van. The driver then switched lanes and began tailgating the next car further up. This process continued until he was out of my sight. I estimate that the van was less than 3 feet from the bumper of each car it tailgated. I wrote down the number for Mac Vik and called them almost immediately. Heather answered the phone but would not put me through to the manager/owner. So I described the situation to her and she suggested I call the Colorado State Patrol. I asked her to leave a message for the manager/owner and she took my number. The call was not returned. Several days later, I called back to leave another message which was never returned.
I am forced to conclude that the management doesn't care about this incident.
Why am I writing this on Yelp? Because it may be a good indicator of how they manage their business. A business that won't respond to something as simple as reckless driving probably won't be responsive to your complaint either. Just beware.
