HISTORY

Established in 1999.
Done Plumbing & Heating was started in 1999 by a family which had been in the plumbing business in Denver since 1978. Having sold their first business in 1997, the owners were getting calls from old customers and employees alike, requesting they open another company because they were not getting the service or being treated as well as they had become accustomed. With over 35 trucks, Done Plumbing now has over 115,000 happy customers and growing.

ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER

As a second generation owner, plumbing and HVAC has been in my life since before I can remember. As my parents owned and operated a plumbing and HVAC company before retiring, the dinner table topics revolved around their day and the challenges and rewards they had while servicing their customers. My first job in high school was helping dig trenches for plumbing repairs, and the values instilled in me were that of a great customer experience. Together with my brother and our amazing team/family of over 50 employees, we are honored to continue serve the Denver Metro area.

My Neighbor recommended Done!-- came out same day; honest & customer service oriented. The co seems focused on keeping customers long term. Aaron was professional and his explanations were clear.  Wasn't trying to 'sell' me anything. I've finally found my plumbing co.

Done Plumbing is a great company!  Every tech has been friendly, helpful and their work has been exemplary. I especially like that they email a picture of your tech so you know who to let in the door. That extra thought for their customers is truly appreciated.

I needed a trustworthy company to go to a rental house of mine, but was referred by another amazing company 24 Hour Flood Response.  I can't say how impressed with the whole process from the receptionist to the guy that handled the service call.  No extra charges on the weekend and the issue was fixed within hours.

Called and made an appt for the next day with ease. They called and we're going to arrive early, awesome. Tony was very professional. He did a great job, gave me a quote on one item and quickly fixed the second. He advised pricing, finished the job, cleaned up and was on his way.  Great job, will use them again

Quoted ridiculous prices to do basic work.  Was not even in the neighborhood of fair or reasonable.

I give them five stars despite being a plumbing outfit.  First off, nobody really wants to hire a plumber and any amount of money you shell out is too much to pay for a plumber.  Also, after they make the job look easy, you wonder if you could have done it yourself.  Like if your tub stopper fell down the pipe causing the bath to become a permanent bathtub and not a shower and they use a little grabber tool to pull it out in five minutes and charge you 125.  Not that this happened to me, just a hypothetical.
So why five stars?  There are things you need from a plumber and there are things you don't need from a plumber.  You need a plumber to answer their phone. You need a plumber to quote you fair prices.  You need a warranty and most importantly, you need someone registered with the BBB.
What you don't need is someone jacking up the prices....believe it or not, anything under 200 is cheap.
On top of all that, Done has coupons, solid customer service, and considerate service.  The last Done guy I used made a point of putting shoe protectors on before entering my house.  I've used them a bunch of times and its never a pleasure but always a relief.

These guys are great. When I called to make an appointment, Jessica was really accommodating and worked with our schedule. We received a call when Gavin was on the way, and he thoroughly reviewed the work and cost to unclog our bathtub. He was great and a pleasure to work with. He was careful not to damage our floors or the tub glaze with the equipment, and thoroughly cleaned everything when he was done. I would absolutely call Done Plumbing again.

I'm writing this review in regards to service at my home completed three months prior in May. If anybody from Done ever reads this, I'm sorry it took so long to get this out!

While tightening one of my outdoor hose bibs after watering my plants on a Saturday afternoon, I had caused a brittle plastic component to crack, resulting in slow leak. If I were a smarter man, I would've left it alone and either researched the part I needed or scheduled service with a contractor during normal business hours. I however did not take a reasonable approach, instead reaching for pliers and duct tape. What happened next was that I managed to bring the spectacle of Old Faithful home for my neighbors viewing enjoyment. The embarrassment at my stupidity was overwhelming. At this point, it was clear that I had escalated things into an emergency situation, so I had to shut off the water supply to the house and start calling around.

I found several plumbers on Yelp who advertised an emergency line, but every one I called prior to Done gave me estimated response times ranging from several days to TWO weeks, leading me to discover that people can have wide-ranging opinions on how to define the word emergency.

When I called Done though, it was a completely different experience. At first, the estimated service date was two days later on a Monday but they offered to put me in a standby queue for same day (Saturday) service in case others cancelled, which I gladly accepted. Sure enough, I got a call a few hours later saying a technician could be on the way on 30 minutes, which was absolutely awesome to me, as we were considering shacking up in a hotel just so we wouldn't have to turn the water back on every time we needed to flush the toilets!

The technician, Justin, came within the window. He looked everything over and offered the choice to either repair or replace the bib, providing estimates. I opted to replace and he got straight to work. He had to cut a very small hole through the drywall in the basement in order to locate and replace a section of the pipe. I was amazed how he could work in such a small area but the man pulled it off! He had a great personality and did first class work. He added a shutoff valve at this location (apparently it's code to have them now), which, I know it sounds lame to be this excited, but I was somewhat thrilled because if it happens again, I can shut the water off at this point instead of the entire house. I ordered a drywall panel off of Amazon and installed it over the cutout for easy access instead of patching with more drywall and it looks decent, much better than if I had tried to patch myself. What can I say, I would probably about as good at patching drywall as I am with plumbing!

As it's been three months, I can confidently say the repair was sound and is holding up nicely. I'm very glad I called Done and would place them at the top of my list the next time I need service.

Two aspects to this review.  The first is that the personality and patience to explain our sewer problem to my husband and I was fantastic.  They walked us through the entire process to dig holes by our house and in the street in order to repair our broken pipes.  That is the good part.

The not so good part happened after we got the quote.  The quote to complete the repairs was $11,200.  We knew the job was going to be expensive and that price was in line with what our neighbors had to pay for the same work.

However we still wanted to get another competing quote.  DONE knew we were getting other quotes but before we actually received anything in writing from other companies, we called DONE back and asked if they could do anything on the price...and they hesitantly reduced the cost by $600.  We thought that was fair.  Then we received the written quote from another company (which by the way was $6,800 with Zane Michalko Plumbing for the same job), we called DONE back again to see what the could do to further reduce the price.  It was only at that time that they dropped their price from $11,200 to $6,800 to match the price and get the job.  REALLY!!!  They dropped the price by $4,400 only after the 2nd call.

That speaks volumes to the amount of 'fluff' built into their prices.   Again...they were very professional during the estimate - nothing to complain about there - but don't be afraid to look them in the eye and tell them to friggin' lower their price or you'll go elsewhere.

Check out other plumbers prices before handing over that kind of money to DONE.  I'm done with DONE Plumbing.

Wow. We got their number from a friend and called at 7:30p. My hope had been to schedule something for the next day. To my surprise they called back at 8p to say a tech was in the area and had just finished another job and could come to our house. When he got to us, not only did he demonstrate grit and perseverance in completing the job but he was also incredibly personable and a delightful person - even at midnight.

I'm definitely impressed and we will be calling them again if and when we have any other issues.

We have used Done Plumbing & Heating for years and have NEVER been disapponted.
Devin our tech was prompt and we were informed by the office when he was about to arrive.

As always they respect your home and place booties on their feet. I believe they do a through job and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Lastly the office follows up with you each time to make sure you are satisfied!!
What a concept huh? We wish more businesses would conduct themselves in this manner.

When they say We can get it Done they mean it!!

Done's Tony and Dom were every bit the professionals that worked effectively explaining the entirety of the situation and how they were intending to fix it before they began the process. They were super friendly, on-time, great communicators and their quality of work was top notch. I would highly recommend these guys and will look to them for any help needed in the future!

We scheduled an appointment for a tech to come and give us an estimate on repairing our AC unit.  We specifically requested an evening appointment because of my work schedule.

Done left a message stating they could get a tech out sooner and then left another message requesting the same thing.  When we finally called (because it was the middle of the day and no one was home to get these messages), we were informed that not only could the tech NOT come early but wasn't coming at all!

I had taken off work early specifically for this appointment.

Extremely disappointment with the level of service and am now contacting other local companies.

*** Update:  after posting this we received a call that they were able to find someone to come out and check our AC unit. ****

UPDATE:  Sean totally made me change the star rating for Done Plumbing!!!  He did an outstanding job and completely saved the day!  Sean was courteous, professional, and spent time explaining what we needed for repairs and/or replacement.  After my HORRIBLE experience with customer service, I'd recommend Sean for a raise.  He gave EXCELLENT service - enough to make me take the time to revise my review.

So today I called what I thought would be my plumbing company for the duration... had a water heater replacement need, and was SO surprised to hear I had a do not service tag on my account.  What???  No explanation, and the receptionist said she would have to ask a manager to call me to explain the cryptic on the account.  I paid cash for the one and only service I had on Thanksgiving 2015, paid cash, tipped the technician $12 tip, and had given this company a 4-star rating (would have been 5-star, but I thought their after hours rates to be a little excessive).  Was told I would hear from a manager to explain that tag on my account.  Have not heard back... so maybe not as good as I thought?  Would advise caution.

Needed someone to come and look at my tankless water heater ASAP. Xcel energy was out the night before looking at it and it was emitting a high level of carbon monoxide. Done Plumbing responded the very next morning and was familiar with my water heater. They were able to come out within a few hours of our call. Technician was awesome! He spent at least a couple of hours diagnosing the issue and although the carbon monoxide levels had significantly decreased he wanted to ensure that he was certain. He also installed a carbon monoxide detector in our basement to bring an additional peace of mind to my family. Will definitely consider working with them in the future. Thanks!

While I have to agree with some previous posts regarding the repair charges being too high, let me also say that the company more than makes up for it through their customer service, from their receptionist/dispatcher to the on-site technician doing the repairs.

I may have been able to complete this repair myself for much less, but had never replaced a shower master water control valve before - having their tech complete the work along with a one-year warranty gives me sleep insurance I wouldn't otherwise have had!

The technician was prompt, friendly, respectful (he wore shoe covers when in the house), and explained what the problem was and how to fix it before quoting the price.  Overall, VERY professional and, in spite of some reservation about cost, I will be calling them again when I need plumbing/HVAC help in the future.

I needed a plumber pretty fast. Done sent Nathan, a really nice man, out early the next day. He spent an hour resolving the problem. There was no charge! Somehow the front office had waived the initial visit fee. Our daughter had used Done several years ago and recommended them--perhaps this was the reason for the fee waiver? Whatever it was, I was surprised and pleased, and my five star critique is now it is on a Central Park (formerly Stapleton) online recommendation network.

Called for a plumber late in the afternoon hoping to get an next day appointment at best. They said that a technician would be out within an hour, the tech arrived within 30 minutes and was professional and friendly. Fixed the problem after quoting me a price (seemed a tad high but I wasn't going to shop it given the circumstances) and left the house with our plumbing problem fixed. I was extremely impressed overall.

Done Plumbing & Heating was recommended to me by my boyfriend.  I had a sewer backup because of blockage.  I called Done.  They had a plumber at my house within an hour.  The plumber, Jake was great.  Professional, courteous and thorough.  He snaked the line and recommended I have a camera sent into the line to ensure the blockage was all clear as the water flow was not entirely back to normal.  Based on his recommendation, Jason came out the next day and found a pretty bad blockage.  He was able to clear the line, saving me time and ultimately money.

I have worked with other plumbing and heating companies who have wanted me to purchase service agreements, try to up  sell me, etc.  Done did nothing but come out and fix my problem with nothing but professionalism. Their service is impecable and the technicians are nice and friendly.  Done is definitely my go to plumbing & heating company from now on.  Thanks Jake and Jason

A few months ago, Done came out to fix a pinhole leak in a pipe inside my wall and were in and out and under a couple of hours for $500. Completely replaced the pipe and did a great job and I was thrilled! A few days ago I went to Home Depot and bought a drop in standard sink and faucet for my bathroom. I had them come out tonight to give me a quote on how much it would cost to replace the older faucet and  sink with the new ones I had just purchased. They quoted me over $800 and that was with my supposed 15% discount! Now I won't call them again because I believe this is quite a rip-off. Just talked to two other plumbers over the phone and they think they can do the job easily for under $200. My Plumbing is in great shape so there's absolutely no reason they want to charge over $800 but the guy told me the real reason for the high cost is because they get it done so quickly. I told him I didn't care if it took all day if I could get the job done for under $200 so be it!

Called them on New Year's Eve and they were going to have a truck out that evening to fix a broken shower mixer valve.  They reported car troubles and showed up New Year's Day.  They were very professional and courteous but about 5x as expensive as another plumber.  They charged me 200.00 + 39.00 trip charge just to come out and cap the hot/cold pipes.  They wanted close to 1000.00 to replace with the new valve which we already purchased at Home Depot.  Since we needed water to the house, I paid the outrageous fee to cap the hot/cold lines but drew the line at the repair.  I called a local plumber who came to diagnose the problem (without any charge) and fixed and repaired the valve for 250.00.  I wish I had called him first.   To sum it up, Done Plumbing and Heating knew what they were doing and were professional, but their pricing is HEAVILY INFLATED.  You will pay at least 3-5X more than what another plumber will charge.

They have the audacity to solicit reviews when they way overcharge.  OK here goes - they wanted $503 for a thermostat that I ended up buying for full price online for $123.  I even offered them $250 for an item that probably wholesales for under $100 and the stuck with their 500% markup.

John was amazing.  He came almost as soon as the window I was given started, he told me exactly what was happening price and all and he was so conscious of my time limits and constraints.  The repair worked the first time, with John explaining the warranty and then a follow up call from the main office not more than 30 minutes later to make sure I was happy. I'm very pleased.

Do not call them!!!   If I could give them a zero on the rating system I would! They started off on a good foot by returning my schedule request within 5 minutes of my submission, and were even on time for the appointment. After that however it was all down hill. My wife and I purchased an old home in the wash park area summer of last year, and wanted to put in an ac for this summer. After doing a quick once over the rep looked at the furnace and decided that it would need to be replaced in addition to installing a new ac. He returned to the van to run some numbers for our estimate. When he returned I was shocked at what was presented. He quote us at $19,000 ($17k for the valued customer) for a new AC and furnace, not top of the line mind you. The cheap side was going to be 15k, so I asked if there were any specific reasons it was so high, like electrical etc. he said no it was just how much it was. After a few more questions he left and I went online to quote the material cost for everything he had listed. It came out to around $3k for the 96 efficiency furnace and the same size and brand AC, and this was not at wholesale prices. In essence he was charging me close to 12-15k in labor for a one day job by his own words. I thought something must have been wrong with my home or I missed something major, so I had two more come and give estimates both were miles less expensive than the estimate Done gave me. I was able to have the new AC and furnace installed with no issues in one day for a little less than $5k, and that company made about $2k for the labor cost, which I have no problem with.
They either have some extremely suspect people working looking to rip people off, or are extremely incompetent. Either way beware and do not use them!! I will never consider them again.

Our water heater broke early one Saturday morning. They replaced the water heater the same day. The cost was a bit more than other places, but it was worth it. The technician was patient and professional. He took the time to explain what he was doing and why. We were so pleased we booked him to come back the next Wednesday to fix our shower.

We used Done once for a water heater problem and the technician was savvy, nice, affordable, and fast. As a result, just called them again for a pump issue.

Completely different experience. The guy said our pump needed to be replaced for $1100. My husband and I had been googling our problem all weekend, and know replacing the entire pump is $250 (not including labor). When pressed for why the quoted cost was $1100, he just said they don't itemize. B!tch. Even Grease monkey itemizes. Labor and parts! You can at least attempt to EXPLAIN. He had a bad attitude. Sent him on his way. And had to pay $40 for him to look at the pump and seem disinterested.

The service was performed within the estimated time frame and the problem was solved when he left. Wonderful service. I've used Done! several times and will continue to call them when issues arise.

Not to mention I received a call confirming my appointment, a call when the tech was en route to my house, and a satisfaction call when the service was complete. Excellent customer service!

The entire service call felt as though it was designed to keep running up the costs. A 45 minute cleaning and inspection of a boiler (described as a thorough time consuming process) with no materials included was billed at over $500.00. Not many services are worth $500+ per hour!

We noticed a drip from a pipe in our crawl space. We decided to call Done Plumbing and Heating because of their high rating. We called for service at 6:38 pm and Terence was here, in less than an hour. He was very professional, friendly and informative. He determined where the leak was coming from and gave us options. The leak was coming from the dishwasher that needed replacing. Terence suggested we replace the dishwasher which we purchased and had installed from another company. However, the day before the dishwasher was installed, we had Terence out for another appointment where he replaced hot/cold intake valves and dishwasher valve with new metal parts. We were very happy with our service from Done Plumbing and Heating & Terence!

The tech called with a quote before starting the work.

I am not looking for perfection but this is as close as I have seen in some time.

Good job.

Very happy with my experience with Done Plumbing. DJ was my plumber and showed up on time and was very professional. DJ explained what was wrong and what he was going to do to fix it and all went according to his plan. He even took the time to answer questions I had during the fix, which I appreciated greatly.
I would definitely call Done again and ask for DJ to come back out to fix plumbing issues. Although they are a bit pricey you get what you pay for sometimes and these folks had great communication from the front office and great techs like DJ. They also gave me a veterans discount after DJ noticed I was a vet, much appreciated. Great job and great experience!

I had been having the worst experience with my washer and ended up having to buy a new one. When the washer delivery guys told me they couldn't install the new one because my valves were corroded, I almost cried. I had had no washer for a couple of weeks and here it was Friday evening. After looking through recommendations by my neighbors on Next Door and other sites, I called a couple of plumbers. I called Done late Saturday afternoon and got an appointment window for Sunday morning between 9 and 11 AM. Dallas was at my door at about 9:10 AM and had the job done within an hour -- at NO extra charge for coming on a weekend! I am impressed and will use this company again. BTW: they give a military discount. Woohoo!

**UPDATE: A supervisor called me to discuss this issue. He assured me that he will not stand for any of his workers to inflate costs and for what it is worth, he refunded the money I spent on the sewer cabling. When I asked him why I wasn't given other, less expensive options like jetting the sewer before jumping straight to taking out my entire alleyway he said he would need to review the details of the quote and the actions that the plumber took to diagnose this issue.

---------------------------------------------Original review -------------------------------------------

It is a sad state of affairs that these large companies exist and it should be against the laws of consumerism that they operate in the manner that they do. They prey upon people who have little to no knowledge of the ins and outs of plumbing and then are compensated on commission to swindle unknowing individuals out of thousands of dollars unnecessarily. It is truly criminal.
They advertise $99 sewer cabling and then once they get in the door they size you up and take advantage of you in every way possible. That is what I felt they did to me.

I used this company to snake my main sewer line recently for $99 when it backed up into my house and I couldn't use running water. The first time they did so it worked, however, my sewer line backed up again only one week later. The next time they sent someone out to cable the line, he told me that he couldn't pop the line open and teed me up for his colleague to come out and put a camera down the sewer line the following morning. He told me that I should expect the worst because he had a feeling that it was a really bad problem. The next morning, his colleague came out to camera the line and said he couldn't get his camera past a certain point. He told me that the only way to fix the issue was to take out my entire alley, asphalt and all, and get a crew out immediately to replace a quarter of the sewer line in order that I would have use of running water as soon as possible. The cost for this he told me would be $12,000. He told me that if I delayed it would cost me another $1,000 to mobilize a crew the following day. He played upon my urgency to have the issue resolved ASAP. The $12,000 was the cost to replace about 1/4th of my sewer line, maybe even less of my sewer than that. In reality, replacing my entire sewer line wouldn't even cost that much!

I called another plumbing company who I know to be honest and reliable (they don't work on sewer lines but are knowledgable about them). The other plumbing company laughed and told me that I was being horribly taken advantage of. They also were nice enough to give me the name of an honest plumber who would come out to my house immediately.

The second plumbing company who came out to my house looked at the issue and, after sending a camera down, told me that I had a few rocks that had gotten into my sewer line and was causing the problem. He fixed the problem for $325. I cannot imagine if I had spent $12,000 for something that should cost a fraction of that. Before the second plumber left my house he told me that these large corporate companies are making it impossible for an honest plumber to make a living. This plumber no longer works on residential properties because these large companies like Done plumbing are making them look bad by advertising cheap sewer cabling when really that's just a way into your door to assess whether they can take full advantage of you. It makes me sick the people who probably hand over thousands of dollars to these companies for issues that don't exist. It should be criminal. Unfortunately, it is legal. I would advise to you that if you use this company you remain hyper-vigilant as to their official diagnosis of what it is your plumbing needs truly are.

I had these guys come out over the New Year's weekend for a backed up sewer in my Townhouse which had started to back up and flood my first floor with sewage. They came out right away and were professional, prompt, and courteous. They spent a lot of time at my unit and got the drains working, though not for very long (only for approximately 12 hours). When called again the next day they came out right away (no charge) and tried to get the pipes cleaned out again, but ultimately could not get the water draining successfully. They suspected a broken sewer pipe outside of the unit's foundation and so they came out again with a pipe camera and confirmed it (again, no charge to me). At that point Done Plumbing stopped when they realized this would be an HOA matter to resolve and likely the HOA plumber under contract (Total Plumbing) would need to dig up and replace the pipe (which they subsequently did).  Even though Done Plumbing did not successfully solve my sewer drain issue, it was beyond what they were authorized to do, and they did stand behind the work they did perform, tried hard on my behalf to find the source of the drain clog and get my pipes draining, and the Plumbing Technician was great, and he kept me fully informed through the whole process. I would definitely use Done Plumbing again based on this positive experience.

Done! come back out to a rental I own after they augured a toilet because there was a leak that started after their service. They didn't charge a fee to come back since it was a re-visit, but they did quote me $364 to replace the supply valve (cited this as source of leak) and to replace the tank components. For that much money I figured I'd take a look myself, the supply valve was actually fine but I replaced it anyway since I had bought a replacement and already had the water off, the leak was actually coming from where the supply hose connects to the tank. ~$25 in parts and less than an hour of my time as an amateur had it up and flushing leak-free.

Maybe the quoted fee is reasonable, and maybe it's best practice to replace the supply valve even when it's not an issue, but the plumber told me it was leaking when it wasn't. Either a misdiagnosis or an attempt to take advantage of someone who didn't know what was going on. I'm no plumber, I'm happy to pay for plenty of things, but it felt to me like a money-grab since I wasn't there. Lost my trust/confidence in either case.

Requested a service call to repair gas water heater.   Chad the service tech charged $526 to diagnose not repair or replace anything.  Estimate was $4000, then he changed it to $3000, and then offered $1000 to replace a $150 valve.   I called the office and I am waiting to receive a credit for the $526 that was a rip-off.

This is the worst plumbing company you could ever call. They came out & ran a snake and told me there was nothing they could do, didn't know what was wrong and to call another company. The guy then got in his truck and drove off leaving me with no water and a horrible mess.

I came home to a leaky outdoor pipe and water in our basement. After calling 5 plumbers that say they offer emergency services but were not able to come out over the weekend, Done! Was able to get a technician out within an hour. Zach was our technician, and he did great work. He was really professional and took time to show me the problem and explain the work that was being done. I would definitely call Done! again.

We had called Done Plumbing Heating two days prior and set up and appointment to receive a quote for a new AC unit. Appointment was scheduled for Friday with a window gap ending at 1:00pm. About 1030 they called and said they would get here, but it would be closer to 1:00 pm. Okay no problem. At 1250 I called to see what was going on with our appointment and the lady who answered the phone came back and said it would be later for today since they are busy. Sorry, but I don't have time to wait around for someone to hopefully show up later. If you're not able to make an appointment then why should you be trust with installation of a new AC unit. Personally its things like being able to keep appointments go a long away rather then being told to stand by wait. Hard pass for us.

As much as I appreciate the response to my review and thank you for pretty much restating what I did say. The fact is appointments are made for a reason and they are suppose to be strategic when I called to see how much longer it would take I was told to stand by and just wait, sorry I value my time and have other things to do then sit past an appointment for an unknown time because you guys dropped the ball. It doesn't matter what certs a person has, what matters is staying true to what a person said. Example you can't make an appointment that was set up in time then it doesn't bring into question where else can you guys fail. Not a risk I am willing take.

We called Done! as we were having granite countertops installed and I could not get the hot water on 3 out of my 4 sinks to shut off.  Done! sent Thomas Meyer out within 1 hour.  He assessed the situation after hearing and seeing my explanation and informed me of the solution as well as provided me with a quote before starting the work.  He also informed me how I could save money now and in the future by becoming a member of their 1st Service Club.  I actually had Thomas fix another issue that I was having not related to the faucets.  He added that to the quote and even showed me how much I could save with the 1st Service Club.  I saved the amount of the membership, the service fee, and then some more!  I was very satisfied with his work and he finished everything before the installers came to install the countertops.  I would recommend them and Thomas again.

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TOP NOTCH WORK! Initially, I had gotten Rooter Town (you will find my 1 star rating for them soon) to come snake my main for roots that were found during a sewer scope. Rooter Town did a great job of initially snaking the line but didn't run out the snake long enough and ended up clogging the main. Unfortunately, their technician did not adequately test his work so when I took a shower this morning and ran the dishwasher at the same time I was greeted with a basement full of water.

Done Plumbing sent out a technician within 45 minutes. MATEO came out to my house and was professional from the initial greeting. He wore booties the whole time and took them on and off as he entered the house. He respected my home as if it was his own and treated me with nothing but respect.  He provided me with a fair estimate, completed his work in less than the time estimated and best of all, tested it by having the water run i the house for ten minutes directly following his work (something Rooter Town failed to do). The snake splattered a bit on the walls and he stopped everything he was doing to immediately mitigate the mess, clean it and ensure that it wouldn't happen again by putting up blankets with duct tape. Hats off to Done Plumbing for hiring a very well mannered and well spoke technician who furthermore is an 8 year Army veteran. I will definitely be giving out my referral for this company. It is great to see a company that really puts American quality and service at the top of their list of priorities.

Thanks Done Plumbing & Heating!!!

We had a bad experience with Done Plumbing a while back and thought we'd give them another opportunity.  We called them over to give us a quote to solder joint where we were trying to move the toilet connection two inches to the left of where it existed.  Their bid was $350!!!  When we asked them why so much, they explained that they have a book where they have predetermined prices for certain types of things.  Ours was considered a pipe repair which includes pricing for eight feet of copper pipe.  The technicians are not allowed to think outside the box when it comes to quoting for the actual work that needs to be done.  They are simple plumbing robots that have to quote directly from the book even if the predetermined description of repair doesn't quite fit the job.  Beware!!  Side note:  We had another plumber fix it and he charged $95.

I have much to say about my experience with Done Plumbing and Heating. I think the quality of work is outstanding. However, there were a few down sides that I wish I had known before calling them, which is why I am leaving this feedback. The technician was so kind, knowledgeable and helpful. However he never took off his shoes in my home. He left track marks. This is not a huge deal, but was surprising to me for a professional company. Also, I was SHOCKED by how high the prices were. I seriously cannot get over it. Had it not been an emergency, I would have never agreed to the service, and honestly will never call them again because their prices are astronomical for the work provided. One more thing: the technician was being kind and said that he had something he would give me something that would help keep my drains clean in the future. I thought it was such a thoughtful gesture, he gave it to me, and left. HE NEVER TOLD ME HE WAS CHARGING FOR IT!! On my invoice, he had charged me $50.00 for the drain cleaning stuff! I thought he was giving it to me as a gift! It was just a crazy expensive experience that I was not expecting and I cannot afford to ever use them in the future.

I just needed a gate valve replaced probably with a ball valve ....might take an hour at the most ....they wanted $700 ....and of course tried to sell me a water pressure Sensor ....said they would do the whole thing for $1000. I was very glad I gave Done a call when we discovered a gas leak in our new home the week before we moved in. Bryan, our plumber, was very professional and kept great communication every step of the way. He did the job quickly (to finish before move-in day) but he never sacrificed on quality. If he realized he was missing a part he stopped and ran to the store instead of trying to rig something together. I even had the gas company and another contractor (working on another project) comment on how he did the job right. He made sure everything was to code when he had the job permitted and inspected. Gas leaks can be a very scary problem, not to mention a pain when gas powers your HVAC, water heater, and range. I felt very confident with Bryan and would highly recommend him and Done plumbing. I even requested Bryan to come back out a few weeks later to install a water line for our new fridge because I knew he would do a great job. I can also say that my whole overall experience with the Done team was great. The office staff keeps you updated about the status of when the plumber or tech will arrive. They send you email confirmations and when a contractor is assigned to your job they send an email with their name and picture so you know who's coming to your house. They have it together and I won't hesitate to give them my business in the future.

Really Realy ticked off this morning! I called done last night because I have a plumbing problem. I talked to a women on the phone told her my service area which was Larkspur Colorado. She said which I have on recording Yes we service Larkspur I asked her when i could get someone out to look at the plumbing problem i was having she said she would have someone call me immediatly back since they are a 27/7 company. 2 hours went by and no one called so I decided to call back. I was told by the guy that answered the phone (again I have this on recording) that they don't have anyone working nights. when I asked why their website said they did he said because we can. I asked when someone was going to call me back and he said tomorrow morning which is today. I told him ok I really needed someone tonight since their website states that they do emergency problems at nights or on weekends for no extra charge. An hour after that phone call the women called me back and stated that they didnt have anyone to call me last night and someone will call me in the morning. The guy I had talked to when I called in was in the backgrund screaming at he women stating I just told them that!

Ok so now 7:45am rolls around, of course we have been up all night making sure our pipes don't over flow or freeze and a women from Done plumbing called and stated, I just wanted to let you know so you don't wait around any longer that we don't service your area ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?!!! I asked her why not and she said we don't.

Ok so I initally called and youtold me you did and now you make me wait all freaking night thinking that you are going to call me first thing in the morning and come out here and solve this problem!!! If you don't service my area maybe you should have yur people at night know that! Maybe if you don't service my area you should consider not putting your ad in VALU PAK in my area! This is ridiculous! No wonder you don't have good reviews your customer service SUCKS

Smart and logical help today from technician Quinn Beale. He worked through an issue we have had for years with temperature consistency, and found a solution that we think will stick.

Part of the issue may be relatively low water pressure, which was something Quinn arrived at after considering all the facts.

YES, they're more expensive than most.  They're worth it! They started immediately, FINISHED THE JOB IN ONE DAY, (included breaking and repairing the cement in the  basement to get to the 6 feet of awful busted pipe in kitchen line).
So, the workmen did what they said they were gonna do and then cleaned up afterwards.
And then the people in the office followed up on things and were  real nice all the way through.
Plus, I qualified for financing on the spot at 6.7% through Wells Fargo.
Definitely worth it, you get what you pay for.

Contacted Done Plumbing to snake a slow drain in basement.  No quotes are provided over the phone.  My tech was polite, courteous, and professional.  He deserves a 5-star rating.  The charge, however, to cable 15 ft. of drain was $228 and the job took 5 minutes.  Won't use Done Plumbing again.

This company used to be fantastic; this is NO LONGER the case!  Roughly 12+ years ago we used this company to replace an outdoor faucet and install an indoor shut-off in the basement and it literally lasted and worked great until a few days ago when the bib began leaking.  Since we'd had such a great experience with this Dave Logan recommended business, we called them again - big mistake.  We were able to get an appointment right away (now I know why!) and Kris arrived on time and seemed to be a nice guy.  He got busy and installed the parts, but I was genuinely concerned when he sweat the pipe for what seemed to me, way too long, but since I work from home and was busy, I couldn't watch him constantly.  The job took longer than it should have and when he left, I attached the hose and we still had a leak.  Fortunately, Kris was still in his truck and since he had failed to test everything properly, he needed to  tighten a piece on the bib.  For the high prices they charge, everything should be well-tested before leaving!  Approximately ONE HOUR later, the pipe where Kris was working, burst and water was spraying everywhere - outside and inside - in the basement ceiling and in the wall!  I turned off the main water valve and my wife called Done, requesting that Kris not return.  About 30 minutes later, Kris returned - it just keeps getting better and better!  After checking things for literally a few seconds, Kris rudely stated this had NOTHING to do with what he had done, and worse, implied it was my fault for shutting off the indoor valve. Well, when water is spraying everywhere, you just want it off!  I called and talked to the Manager and was told in so many words that they were not responsible.  We had just given them nearly $600 and they weren't responsible?!  Kris did fix the second problem and so far, it is holding, but I worry!  While I appreciate a company that supports its staff, they must also support the people who make their business possible - customers!  My wife was concerned about mold and tried to talk to Kris about it, but he was very rude and dismissed her out of hand, turned his back on her, walking away!  Interesting, how a pipe that lasted just fine for more than 12+ years suddenly failed after Kris's work.  Obviously, I can no longer recommend this business, but we have always had great service with Bill Smith Plumbing and Applewood Plumbing and they both stand behind their work!.

I'm giving 1 only because the girl I spoke with to make the appointment was extremely polite and helpful and my technician was not only on time but the company called to see if I was ready for his arrival. This is where we head south. I am apparently in the wrong line of work! I guess plumbing is where the big bucks are made. I need an 8 piece of pipe on an outside water line replaced that runs my sprinkler system. I was quoted $421 and accepted under the assumption that I was also having the relief valves replaced. (I guess I was confused because the quote was not itemized) Nope! That price was for an 8 piece of pipe that took 20 minutes to replace. Then the tech only stuck around long enough to make sure the pipe didn't leak when the water was turned on. So I was crossing my fingers that when I turned on my sprinklers that something didn't leak. When my husband called to file a complaint he was made to wait 24 hours and the person he spoke with was quite rude and blamed the pricing and lack of service on him. If I still lived in a small town and didn't have a choice of businesses then I guess I would be screwed. But luckily this is Denver and I have a choice. But no more large corporations for this girl. I'm a small business owner and small businesses will get my business from now on.

I bought a foreclosed property in north Aurora and needed various work done - a leaking water manifold, garbage disposal, hose bib, and three water shut-off valves needed to be replaced.  Received one of those weekly packets of coupons with a coupon for $25 off repair from Done Plumbing, so I gave them a shot.  Scheduling was easy and the plumber, Bill, showed up within the scheduled timeframe.

Plumber looked at all the work to be done for 15 minutes, and spent the next 30-40 minutes in his van.  Came back with some pretty outrageous quotes.

$1800 to replace the water manifold - $600 for the part, $1200 labor.  I asked how long that would take and he said 'a full day'.  So I said 8 hours labor - that's $150 an hour, if it actually takes you that long.  He said he would throw in the garbage disposal replacement for free (otherwise it was $159).  The prices already seemed absolutely ridiculous, but I asked what the rest of the work would cost: $207 to replace the main water shut-off valve, $186 to replace the hose bib, and a $79 service charge.  These were not the 'standard rates', but the 'value rates', whatever the hell that means to them.  Plus a $39 trip charge, owed regardless of any work performed.

Rather than paying the $39 trip charge to send him out the door, I wanted to at least replace the toilet shut-off valves.  He wanted their set rate of I believe $95 each.  By the way... all their prices are set rates, regardless of how long it takes them.  If you want to pay by the hour, it's an insane fee for the first hour ($150-ish?), then a hugely inflated cost each add'tl hour ($85-ish?).  I felt good (at the time) about haggling him down to $95 for the first and $40 for the second valve.  Then I actually watched him perform the work - a whopping 15 minutes spent on the first valve, and at most, 5 minutes on the second, made me realize just how over priced they really are, even with the reduced charge I talked him into.

$155 bill to replace two toilet shut-off valves.  Plumber was there 90 minutes, but half that was in his van, 20% of it explaining to me why the prices are what they are, and maybe 15% actually performing any work.

Now here's the ultimate kicker.  I did a bunch of research, shopped around online, and bought & installed the new water manifold myself.  Paid less than $150 for the parts (pexsupply.com) instead of $600 from Done Plumbing.  It took about 3 hours.  I have ZERO experience with this kind of stuff.  I would guess that a licensed plumber would take half that time.  $1200 labor, flat rate, for that?

Don't even waste your time giving them a phone call.

Had Done plumbing come out and scope my sewer line. Was not a place inside house without pulling the stool. Jason found it was cheaper to go thru the roof vent. He scoped best as he could and found problem with connection at the street. Told me the price of what it would cost, and any other possible charges that may have to be included. Told Jason to go ahead with work. Once again he explained the charges so there was no misunderstanding. They started work few days later, once down to the problem area they scoped again and found a small dip in line and was going to try and raise it. If they had problems raising the line he pointed out they would have to dig back 3 feet and what cost would be . Lucky for me no problems, all was put together as per code. infill and leveled off. New sidewalk poured. Looked just as good as when they started. I highly recommend Done Plumbing.  Will call them if ever I need plumbing service.

I have had three separate experiences with this company servicing our furnace.

First, the flame sensor needed to be cleaned. Done charged $170 for this, and replaced a wire, perhaps needlessly, but I was charged for it, nonetheless.

Second, our blower motor went out last winter. We had it replaced by Done, and were charged around $925. It was balls cold when this problem occurred, and we needed it fixed before our pipes froze. Unfortunately, we weren't able to research the average cost of blower motor replacement before the tech assessed the furnace, so we told him to go ahead and fix it. Afterwards, we found out that it typically doesn't cost more than $400 or so. We were signed up for Done's priority member program, so we got a discount and paid $800.

Third, because we were still paying for priority membership, we had Done come out to inspect our furnace earlier this week (priority membership allows for waived trip charge and one free annual inspection), even though they'd overcharged us in the past (free is free). My spouse was not home at the time of the inspection, and I know nothing about furnaces. The technician, Justin, told me (and my spouse over the phone) that we had two serious gas leaks that needed to be addressed. He convinced me to shut off the gas to the furnace, told me he smelled gas (although CO2 is odorless), etc. He told me for around $1500 he would fix these issues, and for 4-10 thousand dollars, Done could replace our old furnace. In retrospect, it seems to me like he used fear tactics to make a sale.

We wanted a second opinion, so we called another company. They came over and told us our furnace was absolutely fine. All it cost us was $79 for cleaning and inspection. SO GLAD we didn't shell out another huge amount of money.

In the 10 years (almost 11) that I have been in my house, I've called a couple of AC contractors over the years to fix various problems with our furnace.  Working with Salem from Done was one of the first times that I didn't feel like I had someone just trying to rake me over the coals to try and turn something into a big job when it didn't need to be.  He came out to my home, was exactly on time, took the time to evaluate the problem and presented an option for repair at a cost less than I was anticipating.  We also discussed future options as well for potentially upgrading my system when I was ready to.  No pressure at any point nor did he attempt to make me feel like if I didn't do it now, I'd be paying them a LOT more later.  Thanks Done, for a job well....done :)

We could not have had a better experience with Done! Late one night I went downstairs and discovered we had a wet spot in the carpet. I opened up our utility closet and found a tiny little hole in the copper pipe coming out of the hot water heater. First thing the next morning I called Done and told them the issue and when I could be available to be home and they were able to schedule a technician to arrive sometime in their standard 2 hour window. Lucky for me the technician got there right at the start of the window. The technician was Lincoln and he was everything you'd want in a good plumber. He was friendly, clean, put covers over his shoes, and quickly diagnosed the problem and quoted a repair price. Now here's the important part - there's no doubt you could get someone to do this type of work for cheaper, but you have to ask yourself if you really want to skimp on something as vital as the plumbing running through the inside of your house? We elected to pay the fair price quoted and Lincoln immediately got to work and was done in under half an hour, all the while chatting and explaining exactly why he was doing things and why they were so important. By the time he left our house he had repaired the problem AND educated me on many different plumbing issues and techniques. After this experience I absolutely recommend Done for all your plumbing needs!

Just bought a new house and needed our water pressure valve replaced.  Called up done, and they said they could have someone out that day.  After setting up the appointment they called back 20 minutes later saying they could come earlier if I was home.  The technician Chris showed up 20 minutes later and got to work.  After learning we were first time home buyer's he went over some of the things that we needed to do to get ready for winter to avoid any issue's, many things we had no idea needed to be done.  I would highly recommend done to anyone looking to get some work done!

I had a broken hose bibb. I called them at 12p and James, their master plumber was at my house by 1:45 the same day.  When does that EVER happen??? While I will tell you, they are not the cheapest, I value good workmanship and reviews. It was worth the extra $ for this company. James explained everything to me, gave me options and was understanding with my decision. He replaced my hose bibb, cleaned up the area where he worked and was very nice to deal with. I will use this company again for future plumbing needs.

Yes, they attempted to rip us off too.  Called the guy out to look at the garbage disposal (it was loose and rattling), and it mysteriously stopped working altogether.  He said they just do that sometimes.  He tried to sell me a new disposal for $800+, and I told him I had a friend who would install one for me for much less.  After he left, I saw he had unplugged the disposal--that's how it suddenly stopped working.  When I tried calling Done to complain, all the guy would say was that it was customary to charge a trip charge.  Same response from Tom Martino's office.  helllooooo

Very professional.  Keeps to their schedule.  Show you price before they start doing the work. Provide service 7 days per week which is very convenient, especially for emergencies.

We have always received prompt service from Done. Their technicians are always knowledgeable and friendly. I like that we get an email prior to their arrival with a name and photo of the person coming to the house. I feel their prices are fair. We have used them for AC work and basic plumbing. They also replaced our water heaters with an on-demand system and we have been very pleased with that.

I have used Done on multiple occasions for an apartment building we own.  They have always been professional, courteous and fair, until I got Kenny.  Kenny is a 1-star performer at best.  Unfortunately Kenny seemed over his head technically with a pretty simple boiler and his response was to be rude, try to sell me additional services, let me know he really bills $300-400 an hour and I was lucky to get him for $250/hour, and made me feel as if I was an inconvenience.  Finally, when I called for another service call several months later, they refused to service the building due to Kenny's notes.  The owner did not return a call when asked for an explanation.

Summary: decent shop for most of the techs, but they are not committed to servicing the customer and some of their techs seem under-qualified and over-confident.  Many better local service providers.

Do not use Done Plumbing. What a joke. $350 to put in a kitchen faucet. $109 at Lowes. Came out for $39 for an estimate. Would not provide full estimate. Wanted $60 to cut a hole in drywall just to look at a leaky pipe and estimates $300 to $1000 to fix it without even looking at it. $350 to replace a drain stopper on a sink? $314 to replace a shower knob? This was an obvious rip off. Trying to take advantage of the woman of the house. So sad. Oh, their $25 coupon would have saved us some money. This guy thinks plumbers are worth about $300-$400/hour or more. I understand their services are needed, but this is a complete rip off. We are thankful these fixes are not needed now and can wait for a good an honest plumber to give us an estimate. I will take this down, if other estimates are equivalent.

As a follow up, I said I would take this poor review down if I received equivalent estimates. Well, let me tell you, that is not going to happen. We received an estimate for $390 for which Done Plumbing estimated $1200-$1900. I think the $40 trip charge is how they make their money.

DO NOT USE DONE PLUMBING. THEY ARE EXPENSIVE! AND WILL NOT PROVIDE A FULL ESTIMATE WITHOUT ADDING $60 to cut into drywall that did not need to be cit.

Talked to Lucas on the phone and emailed after this situation. My opinion, if someone's going rate is higher than a national and Colorado average...keep calling other companies...we found a reputable company ( DM me if you'd like the name )
When someone does not even offer a discount for all the time and money that was spent as a previous customer, it is time to move on.
Lucas will I am sure will try saying a consent was signed ( legality for court, period) a signature that you were satisfied with the work ( no, we just wanted everyone out of our house, period...They will NOT let you NOT sign for a NOT SATISFIED, why is THAT NOT AN OPTION?)
They will only respond to a bad review and try to put all their signatures on display...but guess what? If you take a contractor to court, you can win! Watch the news, happens all the time...
The two stars are for the polite receptionist...

Any response by this from the company will be taken as harassment...move on, without another customer...thanks for the memories

From the first phone call to the follow up requesting a review - PROFESSIONAL every step in the process. James was prompt in his arrival, accesses the situation, offered me options of how to resolve, and completed the work efficiently. His attention to detail (including cleaning up afterwards) and willingness to answers any questions I had is greatly appreciated! Thank goodness for such wonderful service!!! I know who to call in the future - Done Plumbing!

Okay, I'm giving them a couple extra stars.

Done plumbing is not cheap. We paid $124 for them to come fix our water pressure in the shower (which involved changing a filter) and took them about 30 minutes (according to the BF). It was $124 after a $75 discount for leaving us waiting all day on Saturday AND a $40 AAA discount. So I would recommend checking their website for coupons, and using all the discounts you can.

I wasn't the one present when the plumber came, but my boyfriend said he was very very nice and our dog only barked at him a couple of times...

I am upping their rating based on the fact that our water pressure no longer resembles that of a camp shower. Our water is now so pressurized it can easily take out an eyeball. I like that.

This outfit tried to rip me off!  My A/C wasn't working, so I called it.  A guy came out and said there was a leak, and that all the freon was gone.  He gave me an estimate for locating the leak, repairing it, and refilling the system.  It was nearly $2,000.00!  I told him that's what I paid 4 years ago.  Then he said, Well, then you might be better off just buying a new system.  Gave me a bid of nearly $4,000.00 for that.  I said I don't think so, and he charged me $30.00 & left.  Then I called the company that installed the system.  A guy came out, tightened a connection, re-filled the freon, and said Have a nice day.  Took about 10 minutes, and no charge.  That was less time than the tech from Done! was here.

I had an emergency plumbing issue and called Done Plumbing at 10:00 AM. on Saturday. They confirmed that the tech would be there at the 6:00 to 9:00 PM slot guaranteed or hopefully sooner. I got a call at 7:00 PM and they said that the plumber decided to go home and that no one was coming! True to their name, they are Done with Reliability. Like other posts, these guys are seriously unreliable. Hire someone else that is reliable and sticks to their word.

Been living in our townhome for over a year and a half. Had a leak begin with the main drain pipe that connects to washing machine. We tried to use 2 different friends that are plumbers but plans fell through. One friend did recommend Done! Therefore we set up an appointment and had a tech come out. Dallas was friendly, efficient and helpful. Not once did my wife and I feel like he was trying to scam us being that we are two women with a plumbing issue we don't want to mess with. He thoroughly explained all the possibilities and kept working to make sure we were getting what we needed to hopefully avoid further issues while saving us money.
I read a lot of the reviews and many complain about the pricing but I also struggle with why you went through with the service. Our tech was very straight forward with pricing . We did get other quotes from other plumbers because our appliance guy gave us his thought on what he thought was wrong and then we were able to get ballpark estimates from others. Anyhow, I'm just grateful for our experience

Well they showed up on time but I thought they were going to call first.
I was told the cost was 59.00 for the call then the tech said there would be a 250.00 diagnostic fee and the total cost would be about 1K.  The furnace right now is not working and it runs but there is no gas flowing so nothing to ignite.
Then  the tech said the cost would probably be about 1K to replace the valve.
Now the valve is right in front of the furnace and the shutoff is right there so I do not consider 1K  to be a reasonable price to tell the truth 250 for a diagnostic fee seemed a but much.
So we decided to part ways and they did not charge me even for the service call which was very nice.

However the technician try to play it very coy over the diagnostic fee, it seemed he knew based on his 20 years of experience just what the issue was.
After he left I called another company and they are coming over this afternoon.
I did some more research online and it said to just give the gas valve a couple of knocks to see if you could get it to open, well sure enough a couple of knocks and it came back on,  now I am still going to have company #2 come out to see if they feel the valve should be replaced or not since I don't want the heat to go out when I am  away and have a pipe freeze.

It seems the technician was trying to play some kind of game to tell the truth since he certainly could have just tapped on the valve too?  The 250.00 diagnostic fee was also supposed to be credited to the final bill so he had nothing to gain unless he was going to try and claim it was more than just the gas valve.  I will never know and am waiting for company #2 to come out this afternoon.   All I can say is just don't be afraid to say no and don't feel as though they have you over a barrel.

Also do not try to replace an furnace part like a gas valve yourself!!!!

I had another company come out  for 130.00 total they came out diagnosed the issue as being an overheating furnace due to a number of reasons.  Made some adjustments to the gas pressure and fan speed.  That hopefully will resolve the issue in the short term.  They did say the furnace was oversized and that along with the poor installation was causing reduced airflow further execrating the overtemp  issue.  Tech spent about an hour at the house and explained what he was doing and why.  Much better experience that with Done. :(

These guys are awesome.  I had John come to my place and he gave me an honest assessment and explanation as to why he could not tap into my existing gas line and run an additional gas line to my kitchen.  He explained that the size of the gas supply line coming into my condo would not support my existing furnace as well as the new gas stove that I had picked out.

He also pointed out how to reconfigure my existing drains on my two bowl sink into a more efficient single bowl sink that I am going to order.

The last thing John discussed with me is how to more efficiently run a second water line to the ice maker in a new freezer.  I thought I had to split the existing line and run it across the kitchen but he pointed out that he could tap into the water supply line on the back side of the wall that supplied my guest bath.  Much better and much more cost effective solution.

The net of all of this is that John gave me the best, honest answers to my questions and Done did not charge me for this consultation.

I will never use anyone else but Done for all my future plumbing needs.

Thank you

Buyers BEWARE! Especially the elderly. This company charged my 86 year old mother $2005.00 to replace a 40 gal. electric hot water heater that at the most I could find after the fact sells for under $500.00. In fact they also told her that she needs and sold her a carbon monoxide detector even though her home is 100% electric. Everyone needs to know that this company uses a flat rate to charge customers and doesn't bother to include that in their advertising or when talking to you on the phone.Otherwise they would not even get their $69 trip charge. Flat rates could be told to potential customers prior to wasting anybody's time.
SHOP AROUND. The smaller companies are more than eager for your business, they are fully licensed and bonded and willing to give an estimate and not over charge like this company does.

Done was outstanding. They were professional, thorough, and absolutely committed to 100% customer satisfaction. Our technician, Jack Higgins,, was exemplary. He had to replace two furnaces for us. He arranged the electrician, pulled the permits, installed the furnaces perfectly, made sure it was interoperable with the AC and humidifier, brought it up to code (as we hand our furnace for 18 years) answered all of our questions, and spent the entire day making sure it was a perfect installation. Jack was outstanding, honest, and complete. The pricing was good, the service was better than the others. I give them an A+. You can trust them and have high confidence that it is done perfectly.

Service is reliable and usually fast, so why 2 stars?  The are EXPENSIVE. When you think, this is going to cost a fortune. Quadruple your highest estimate, and that is what they will charge. I've never paid so much for plumbing. Example: installing a new Kohler faucet in a new kitchen sink: $500 (the faucet was $600). I'm not exaggerating!

They'll show up, the will behave professionally, they will clean up after themselves, and you will pay through the nose for it.

I admit it was my fault for not doing more research before allowing Done Plumbing to do the work I wanted.  I trusted a friend's recommendation.  The whole experience felt slightly sleazy to me.  I felt pressured into having the work done the same day as the estimate.  Then I was pressured into accepting their service plan to save over $400.  I wish they would just give me a reasonable price to begin with.  Other than using the service plan once, I probably won't use them again.  It felt like upselling of their service plan that I really didn't want.  And I was given no say on the brand of water heater to be installed.  Not sure of the quality.

The worst plumbing service I have had in my 30 years here in Denver. The plumber that came to my home to install a faucet charged $900 for installation AND removed a pipe that was not suppose to be removed. I started to have terrible sewage smell in kitchen and had DONE come back. A new plumber came out and said that the first plumber from DONE shouldnt have removed pipe. Then told me that rather than fix the issue that one of their own created, they would put pipe back but would charge me another $250 !!! NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!

Ok I spoke personally to the owner because everyone that I showed the pictures to couldn't believe it. So after speaking with him I asked him to refund the extra hour that I was charged. I didn't ask for the whole fee to be refunded because I felt that besides the mess the Tech had his work cut out for him. There were some pretty big roots he did pull out of our drain. About a half inch thick and possibly three and a half to four feet long. Needless to say I did have a different guy come out to camera our drain. Thank goodness there isn't a break or a hole. So in the end the owner did what I asked him to do. He did apologize and was willing to pay to have someone come clean my bathroom for me. I had already cleaned it so I didn't take him up on that offer. Some people ask why I didn't have the whole amount refunded and thats because the guy did a good job of clearing our drain just not cleaning up the mess. So I'm good with the way things ended up I guess

Not normally the type to write a negative review, but the cost estimated to have a blower motor replaced seemed to be outrageous, exactly what Rachel b said in her review.

The good: communication was great and the tech was awesome.

The bad: estimated almost a grand to have an induction motor replaced and the pressure switch along with it. I got on google and found the motor for around $150 and the switch around $80.

I understand companies charge markup on parts, but how this is justified I'm not sure.

I then asked the tech how long it takes him to install and he said under an hour then he needs to test it.

This is all well and good but even if the part was marked up 100% it would still not explain the labor.

How much are these guys charging an hour? Even at $500 an hour it still doesn't come close to penciling.

Bottom line: unless I am completely misunderstanding how much parts and labor on this repair should be, I can't help but feel like I wasted $200 on the service call.

Verdict: disappointed

RIP-OFF!!! This company came out to my house to fix a water heater.  The technician told me it was going to be $700.00 to replace the gas valve but that he couldn't fix it because the gas flow to the house was too strong and it would fail again.  He told me to have excel energy come fix the gas regulator.  Charged me $125.00 and left.

Xcel came out very soon after and said all their gas supply was good.  Xcel's tech said there is an internal gas regulator that was bad and it needed to be changed.  He showed me where it was and it just so happened to be right next to the water heater one foot away from where DONE's technician was working.  Not Xcel's problem, DONE's tech should have found this on his trip out.

In the mean time, I went and found the gas valve that DONE wanted to charge me $700.00 for at a local supplier for $149.00. The exact same gas valve!!!!

DONE then sent another technician out because I complained they charge me $125.00 and didn't diagnose right.

The next tech said I needed to have the gas valve (already purchased) and the gas regulator replaced.  I knew this because the excel tech had diagnosed it properly for me.  He said he would install my already purchased valve for $550.00 and $350 to fix the gas regulator.  $900.00 total on top of the $125.00 I already paid them and the $149.00 I paid for the gas valve.

$550.00 labor for a 20 minute install on a gas valve! NO!

I told him no because he was ripping me off and to leave.

AND HE WAS!

I just had another company come install a new regulator and put in my already purchase gas valve for $200.00  It took him less than 45 minutes.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

I needed a kitchen faucet installation and garbage disposal installation. I had the parts for both. All I need did was for them to install it. I thought that the charges would be two to $300. They ended up charging me almost $800 for it. I thought that was extremely excessive for a one and ahalf to two hour job. That is expensive labor!!! I am a senior in my 70s and they did not offer me a senior discount either.

I contacted them to replace a frost-proof hose silcock. They got back to me with a quote of SIX HUNDRED TWENTY FIVE BUCKS!!! That is SO absurd and out of the range of this simple project as to be ridiculous! I found 3 other plumbing companies who offered to do it for 300 bucks, parts and labor included and the guy who did it the next day did it perfectly.

From the other reviews it looks like once you agree on a price, they do a good job. My issue is with their marketing. They had a $50 off Any Service sticky on the phone book I received recently so I called them to get a sewer line cleanout. I asked about the price and was told it would be $99 - nothing was said about that being a discounted or sale price, but when I mentioned the coupon they said it wouldn't apply because the $99 was a sale price. This bait and switch seems to happen a lot lately, but regardless of their apparent competence, I refuse to deal with companies that do it.

As you can see, Lucas M., business owner responded. Here is my response back to him:

I appreciate your comment, but this doesn't make it any better. I have this service done every year as a preventative and the drain is not currently clogged. I have two clean outs readily accessible in my front yard and  the technician doesn't even have to move the equipment to clean out both directions so it takes a max of 30 minutes. I told your staff all of this prior to receiving the quote. If, in fact, $180 an hour is your sales rate, I don't know how you get any business.

My family has used Done plumbing for years. The last 3 weeks have been ridiculous considering you had technicians out to my house several times in 2 weeks... And THEY had no idea what they were doing for a re-piping job that MY FATHER had to help the technicians several times. Claimed that there was a skunk under my trailer and we couldn't use our water for about a week... GUESS WHAT! No skunk or cat even. Ohhhh and not to mention the water damage caused by MORE LEAKS that your tech was fully responsible for considering he put the wrong fittings on the pipes. You overcharged for the lack of service you gave and then told us that we under paid for all of this. You only care about the money, not about your customers or the quality of work.

Unfortunately, after three days of cold showers it was determined my 21-year-old water heater finally quit. When the technician arrived, we discussed options and what would work best for me. Our furnace wasn't working, in a  brand new house, on a Sunday.  We were in a cold spell and the temperature was 58 degrees inside.  The company my builder uses told me that if they came out and it was not a warranty item the cost for a Sunday would be $350 and hour with a $350 minimum.  I called Done and they sent someone out for their flat fee of $39.99.  The item was under warranty but the service still had to be paid whatever vendor I used.  The total was $100 less!  I would definitely use them again.  Our clubhouse used them for a plumbing issue that had been going on for two years.  Problem fixed.  Everyone was professional,   and courteous.  They show up on time.  He diagnosed the problem within 10 minutes of walking in our house.  They are my go to place from now on!

I am very unhappy with Done right now.  I had two plumbing repairs done in the past two months - expensive, but I was happy with the work.  Today I had an inspection of my A/C since I signed up for their 1st service club.  The AC was installed by another firm in Spring of 2007.  I have had it serviced every spring for 10 years (which is supposed to increase the  longevity of the ac).  but that maintenance plan became too expensive for my budget.    But today everything was wrong with it..   Valves and Shraders leaking refrigerant.    Would have to replace compressor at $4000.     He showed me that the home was reading 71.   After he left I noticed that the thermostat was set to 83.  I turned it back down to 70  and now my home is 70 again.   Very disappointed in their inspection.   Seems fishy that he used the temperature increase to prove their point when it wasn't really the issue.    I asked why previous inspections said I was fine.   They claimed my previous inspectors were not skilled enough to know what they were doing - I feel this was very unprofessional..    I called them to cancel my 1st Service Club membership and I'm stll waiting for a call back.  Note that they had never sent me the paperwork for the membership.

Have to say I was hesitant to call a brand name plumber after a load of laundry resulted in a flooded basement, I always seek out independent contractors but my best friend recommended Done, and I was very impressed, Gavin was the plumber that showed up and was very pleasant, informative and honest with costs and possible extra charges, which did not occur, my basement and sewer line are now clean and serviced for a decent price, there was some attempts at upselling just being honest but was not aggressive in any way and typical of a larger company.  I would definitely recommend this plumbing service and in the future will ask for Gavin again based on his straight forward approach.

Then verbally quoted another figure almost the same amount ($541 for first pound, $400 plus for each of the next 5.6 pounds - not sure of the exact number since I never got a written quote but I remember it was another nearly $3,000 amount) to recharge with R410A assuming the leak was located. One year warranty but that could be extended another year if we paid I think $179 for a one year membership. So around $6,000 and I told the tech at that point, not a fiscally responsible endeavor to spend that kind of money for a one or two year warranty. After much more discussion about the cost to replace, he called his office and got a couple of prices over the phone with the proviso that a sales person would still have to come out and give us a firm bid, but the price was for several more thousand dollars, depending on the SEER rating. It was a lot to take in, a lot of money to spend, so we told him we'd like to sleep on it but please get us the quotes. He said he would email them to me, several times, and when he left, he said when he got to his truck he'd email me the repair quotes right away. I never got them so I sent the company a message via their web site the next day. Never heard from anyone. To be fair, the tech spent a lot of time with us, so I'm not sure why a promise to provide a written estimate could not be met. Clearly we were shocked by the amounts he verbally quoted but to just leave us hanging? Were we thrilled about paying that kind of money? Of course not, but follow through on what you represent you will do, at a minimum. No email, no phone call. When he left, that's the last we saw or heard from this company.

I was in the throws of having my bathrooms remodeled and realized the washing machine would cause backups in one of the bathroom sinks. I called Done and they were there the next day to correct the issue. Then they came back the next day to fix another issue upstairs. Then they sent someone out the following day to take a video of our plumbing to see that everything was fine. These guys are the best. I highly recommend!!!

Charged $700 to install a garbage disposal. I should have paid service call and refused but had fair amount of water under the sink and wanted it fixed quickly.  I'm elderly and on a fixed income. Wonder if they take advantage of that. Used them in the past and they were reasonable. My mistake. Will never call them again!

I used them before, and I had a bad experience with one tech, so I canceled my monthly subscription. I was wrong!! Calling other companies was disappointing James came to turn on my swamp cooler. He was in and out within 30 min!! He was friendly, on time, and fabulous. Most HVAC companies want up to 450$ for 15-30 min hob. Ridiculous!! Done is affordable and dependable. They only charged me for a startup, and I am back on my old monthly plan. I am a customer for life. They earned their excellent BBB rating. Thanks, James!!!!

Quinn is fantastic. He installed a gas line for our new range and dryer at 1/3 the cost of the high pressure system another plumber insisted we needed. Gas pressure is fine and the range and dryer work great. Quinn is my go to plumber now.

Done Plumbing must make its money on the service charges because no one in their right mind would pay what they charge for the smallest tasks. I naively called Done because I had a $50 off coupon. I had two toilets that constantly run. I was told that both toilet tanks needed to be completely rebuilt. The estimate was $517 or $437 for the Value Rate (whatever that means). I also had the guy look at my kitchen faucet because it no longer swivels. He said he could tighten a bolt underneath the sink for $99, but that I really needed a brand new faucet. I wish I would've done my homework before I called them. Needless to say, I learned my lesson.

Pretty disappointed with the tech they sent out to my house.  He was pretty rude, and ignored instructions not to touch a nippy dog.

I love their response time and great customer service but have mixed reviews on their pricing.  The first time they came right out to fix some piping... not too bad on price or service,  the second time we thought we had a toilet leak.  The tech couldn't find out what the issue was and didn't even charge us since he couldn't diagnose the issue.  Understandable, we couldn't figure it out either.  Must have had something to do with a 5 year old living in the house as it corrected itself.  The most recent visit was for a cartridge replacement in our tub/shower faucet.  The tech told me it was hassle to go to home depot and that it was just easier to go across town to get the part since they knew they'd have it at whatever supply place they use....  It would be $150 just to go and get the part....  Eeeeek that was a little drastic in my opinion so I decided not to use Done on this project.  I would use them again but maybe for emergencies only.

We have used Done in the past 8 years for EVERYTHING - a/c repair. Hot water heater. Clogs. And most recently some irrigation pipe repairs.

I'll save you the drama - this place is not the cheapest solution.  But I've gone that route, and have always had to pay more or again down the road.

They also guarantee results for the next 12 months.

Look at these attached pictures - the soldering is beautiful.

I called Done late yesterday afternoon with a drain issue in our master bathroom. Their technician, Aaaron, was here within one hour. He quickly figured out the problem and solved it. Best of all, since the counter has a double sink, he cleaned the drain on the second one without even being asked. This is the third experience we have had with this company. These guys are awesome!

Done once again exceeded my expectations in the costs of their services, the quality of the work performed and the professionalism of its staff. Chris arrived in a timely fashion amd was both extremely professional and friendly. I had a water line extended to my garage and he explained every step of the process and the costs involved. He completed the work quickly and the quality of the work was on par or even better then what I've come to expect from Done in the three jobs they've now completed in my home over the last few years. I highly recommend this company for their excellent customer service, competitive costs and the timeliness of their services. Five stars!

I wish I had read all these reviews before being grossly over charged for my hot water heater and installation!  I feel sick at the price they charged me, $1800, about double what this should cost.  Most companies don't charge the trip fee if you have the work done, they still even charged me that to make sure they were squeezing every penny out of me that they could! The invoice doesn't even have a break down of price, for all I know they put a $400 water heater in that isn't worth anything. And for that price I only got a 40 gal hot water heater and a 6 year warranty. I agreed to have it done thinking they were part of BBB and Team Dave Logan and would be a fair and honest company, but that means nothing.  I also felt under pressure since it was leaking and didn't know what would happen next if I didn't get the work done.  I'm a single mom that doesn't have this kind of money.  I nearly started crying when the guy told me the charge.  I hope other people read these reviews and realize this is WAY OVERPRICED, its robbery!  Definately do not recommend Done Plumbing and Heating.  The $1000 overcharge for this job is $1000 less I have to help send my daughter to college.  Hope Done Plumbing is enjoying the money they steal for their services at the sacrifice of other honest, hardworking, good people.

These guys are FANTASTIC!  We've had them out for two jobs, one large (water heater overhaul, drainage, and drain repair) and a small job (toilet clogged with flushed toy).  Both times they were prompt, clean, friendly, and professional.

From a price perspective, I'd say they're more than average but the quality upgrade makes it well worth it.  They wanted to put their labels all over our house which initially I found annoying, but now it doesn't bother me.

In summary, I highly recommend.

We had a problem with a leaking pipe in our furnace room in the basement..  We called Done Plumbing which we have never used on Friday Jan 2,  Told them it did not seem like it was an emergency and they kindly found an appointment time early the next morning.  Customer service called us an hour before appointment time to let us know they could come early,  Austin Showed up on time explained what they would do and that it was one price no matter how long the job took.  Our job only took about a half hour but Austin double checked his work to make sure the pipes did not leak.  he did not feel bad about me watching what he did on and off so I could see what exactly he did.  He explained the process and showed us a couple of potential issues to watch out for with other pipes. he did not try to sell us any other work just helped us understand what could go wrong.  We asked about another problem we had with our tub and he took the time to look at it give advice about what was wrong and gave an estimate on what they could charge to fix the problem,, He also told me what I might try on my own.  We would use them again because Austin was honest fixed our problem and gave us ideas on what to do with our other issue.  He even took a picture of the tub and the work that other people had done before in case we requested him to come back. Very professional, friendly  and on time.  Good Job!!!!

Done right the first time. While not cheap, Done's pricing is in line with the rest of the industry. However, their service is top notch. Devon arrived on time, presented a price for my refrigerator water line repair up front, and got to work. There was a misunderstanding about the way I requested the water line to be recessed into the wall -- I showed a picture up front when I requested service. Devon took full responsibility for the misunderstanding, performed the service as requested quickly professionally, courteously, and without any change in fee. Did I mention I requested service at night and everything was completed the next morning? Plus a follow-up call to make sure everything was performed as expected. I recommend Devon and Done! Plumbing and Heating, and have already referred them another client!

I called Done! to get our clay pipes cleaned just for preventative maintenance. Austin was on time, respectful and efficient. He clearly outlined the pricing structure and also assured me that he did not anticipate it taking longer than an hour. He then proceeded to haul a 300 lb. piece of equipment into our basement. Out of curiosity, I asked if there were lighter versions of the same equipment, and he said there was but that he didn't think it did nearly as good of a job.

Done! uses iPads to make the invoice and billing process extremely simple. I received the email invoice within seconds. We'll definitely use them again.

Seems like toilets are eluding this business. We were told they needed to rebuild our tank with new parts for $350+ , because they don't sell the one broken part separately.  They spent a week ordering parts they could never find, canceling appointments because the tech was too busy, rescheduling...etc. Finally my husband researched the parts online, went to Home Depot and fixed it himself for $7. Waste of a week.

If I could rate 10 stars I would.  We had a pretty serious situation, where the sewer line from the house to the main had formed a belly and was backing up into the house.  Not only was Done! able to get someone out pretty quickly, but they stuck with us throughout the whole ordeal.  Tony and Vincent were fantastic, they were very up front about our situation and in outlining our options.  We went with Plan A - lower cost and it had a chance of working.  After about a week it was clear we would have to go to Plan B, higher cost on plumbing and excavating to the line.  To get to the line, there was a cement patio on top of the line, with a couple of beams supporting the roof....so all of this had to be coordinated with Diamond Drilling & Sawing (who were also great).  This whole thing took about 3-4 weeks from start to finish, and Tony and Vincent stuck with us the whole way, including a couple of reschedules due to patio removal etc.

Ultimately, the patio was sitting on a footing tied into the foundation going down 9ft, and removing it would have been a huge (and expensive) problem.  Tony, Vincent and the Done! excavation team came - assessed the situation, and was able to excavate one direction from inside the crawl space, and the opposite direction from outside.  Using this approach they were able to SAFELY work in the new pipe without having to go under the concrete footing, saving us the time and expense of removing it.  What was uncovered, was a sewer line that was so badly installed from the builder - Richmond - have no idea how it passed inspection.  It was pitched toward the house, had a flexible rubber connection buried outside (thus the belly) and had 90 degree angles allowing gunk to collect.  So basically, Richmond did an incompetent job of running the sewer line creating a time bomb for the home owner, then laid so much unnecessary concrete on top if it, it was near impossible to reach and fix it.

But....Done! was able to overcome all of the elements of this 'perfect storm' and get us up and running - and done the right way this time.  Their work is also guaranteed for life.  Would highly recommend this team!

After calling our local plumber in a panic because our basement floor drain was backed up and beginning to flood our laundry room, he recommended we call Done! because he believed it was a clog in our main sewer line and he didn't have the equipment to handle a big job. So I called to request a quote, under the assumption that we would be getting a snake run through our main line. The phone was answered promptly and the lady who I spoke with was very courteous and said that they were unable to provide pricing over the phone, but could send someone out within an hour to give us a free estimate, no trip charges or any strings attached if I opted to not accept their services once the estimate was provided, even though it is a Sunday. I said great! and scheduled the appointment.

Logan arrived in about 45 minutes, which was excellent. He was courteous and professional, put the booties over his shoes before setting foot in my home (which I appreciated), and had me lead him straight to the problem. He was very thorough, but couldn't find any indication of a clog in the main line. He brought his shop vac down, vacuumed up the water out of the drain, and then discovered that it was nothing more than dirt and muck gumming up the trap. A simple coat hanger down the drain cleared it right out. So he fixed the problem during the evaluation, before an estimate could even be given. :) Rather than charging me for a standard $99 drain cleaning service, he offered to charge me a simple $40 trip charge instead (and after all the running around he did up and down all my 5 flights of stairs, he deserved more), but at his recommendation I went ahead and purchased the BioClean enzymatic cleaner, which was only $9 more, for which he waived even the trip charge.

Overall, I am extremely satisfied with Done!; they were prompt, courteous, professional, and it didn't cost me my first born for what turned out to be a very simple job that I ultimately could have figured out and done myself. I will definitely call on them again if I have another big job that my local guy isn't equipped for.

I can't recommend them for toilet repairs. Charge $450+ for a $5 valve. They call it a 'Toilet Rebuild' but really its just 'Toilet OverBilled'. They have treated me right in the past but not this time around. Ouch! I won't be using them anymore.

I called Done Plumbing to come out to start up my swamp cooler after a different plumber told me it would be a 4 week wait. Not only did they come out right away, but the technician brought to my attention that my hot water heater was 25 years old and recommended that I consider replacing it. The technician was very understanding and sympathetic of our situation.  He was on time with the appointment, which made me very happy as I was coordinating insurance adjuster, plumber and contractor all in one day.  The price was a little more than what I expected, but when you are in an emergency situation with a water leak, you really are not thinking about the amount, you just want the pipe fixed so you can have water.

Called these guys due to my AC not functioning right. Each person I spoke to on the phone was extremely nice and polite. They told me what my fee up front was going to be before I even scheduled my appointment which was nice to not have any surprises. Then the tech Salem showed up and I was discouraged because they initially observed my AC was completely frozen. I had to kill my unit for 24 hours and to my surprise, Salem came out just like he said the next day and found that the installers didn't hook up my equipment right. 30 minutes later, my house is back to being cool and no additional charges for the work done. I will definitely use these guys for any future work I need done.

Nick came to fix my leaking faucet in the laundry room. It was more involved than I thought. the whole pipe and faucet had to be replaced. I had him replace all the ones that were the same in the house which was finished in 1980 but likely started in 1978. One of the outside faucets could not be turned all the way off whit out a drip. He did have to cut into the wall to fix some but lucky my basement had a removeable ceiling tiles. They accept a check or credit card.

Response time was good and the technician was polite and friendly. However, the problem with my water heater was never resolved after two plus hours of work. He replaced the thermocouple by completely removing and replacing the burner assembly and that was not the problem. Come to find out he could have tested it first with a multimeter to verify it was still good by disconnecting one wire. He then thought it might be the thermo switch but admitted after several troubleshooting steps that he was stumped. His only suggestion was to replace the water heater and provided me with an exorbitant quote that I declined. I paid a hefty diagnostic charge and the problem was never actually diagnosed. The problem was subsequently fixed by another company in twenty minutes at one tenth the cost of the tech's quote for a new unit.

These guys are great.  Had them at our place in the past, but this was an emergency as water was dripping into our basement (on a Sunday of course).  Very happy with Ivan's work and attitude.

When I saw that a valve needed to be replaced, I stood there and contemplated doing it myself.  Ivan even showed me what I'd need to do.  HomeDepot is around the corner, open and I have a wrench!...ultimately I had him do it.  Which was for the better.

Yes, $200 for a $15 part seemed excessive at first.  What you are paying for is experience.  When something goes wrong, doesn't go as planned or even when he does something I would not have known, or ever thought to do...that's why.

Experience.

We've had them out several times.( Apparently our furnace and air conditioner were not installed correctly to begin with. ) But on this occasion our air conditioning wasn't working. These guys are good. From the simple snaking of a drain, to a major dig for a new sewer line, each Done crew was exceptional. Number one, they fixed the problem (slow running drains). Number two, they did the major work on schedule and on budget. And finally, there was minimal impact to my existing fence and yard. The latter was very important since I had just spent $3,000 on a new fence and, even though they had to remove sections, it was put back together correctly. From the office personnel I worked with (Nanette), the supervisor in the field (Kieth), to the lead worker on the project (Jaime), I was treated extremely well and all my concerns were addressed. I have told them they have a customer for life, and that's the truth. On a side note, I found these guys on Dave Logan's List... Another service I will use again!

We had a backup on a Sunday and called a few places.  Another company quoted $279 emergency charge, along with another $450 to clear the line.  I appreciate their up-front pricing but seemed high.  Second company would not quote over the phone.

Third call was to Done Plumbing & Heating and a supervisor answered.  He did not have any techs available until Monday and offered their $99 line clearing special.

Dom Nguyen arrived and was professional, friendly, and a good listener.  Instead of listening .  He concluded it was a secondary line and then reviewed our options.  I signed off on one of them and he proceeded to get to work.

Soon, the line was cleared and obvious that he was correct in troubleshooting.  He tested the cleared line and the other lines in the system to confirm there were no other blockages.  He cleaned up the work space.

Dom and I talked about other work to help maintain the system (which I appreciate because we can plan for the expenses).  I received pictures from Dom with the invoice delivery via email.

So I had a great experience and will definitely call them again for future work!

Our water heater was 10 years old and leaking from the inside so after doing some research, we decided it is time for a replacement. Called Done plumbing to have a technician come out to inspect it just to make sure it is at the end of its lifetime. The guy shows up the next day and asked me what was wrong with it. I gave him the story and he decides yes it is time to replace the water heater without even taking a look at it for himself.
Then he gave us a quote of $1899 with taxes came up to be over $2000! The invoice shows a 40 gallon water heater for $1164, thermo expansion tank $294, upgrade flue and double wall $249, pan under water heater $164, and permit and inspection $169. I asked if those other upgrades were necessary and he respond if you want our company to install then yes, we have to do all of this to maximize the safety of our customers. We told him we will not continue with his service and paid him the $39 service trip fee.
Went to Lowes and got the heater tank for $350 and installed for another $350. Our total came up to $750 with permits and kit. Oh, and I look at the thermo expansion tank at Lowes which cost about $50 and the pan that catch the water is about $20. I wonder if their technicians make commission because it sounded like he was just trying to get all the money he can from us. Done plumbing is just way too expensive and will not be using any of their services in the future. The pro of this company however was that they showed up on time.

My water heater was leaking, a sure sign you need to replace it. I thought the last plumber I'd used had charged more than was reasonable to replace the main water shut-off handle ($475.00 - a flat fee to be fair to everyone. What the heck does that even mean? But I was over a barrel so I paid.

But I didn't want them when the next issue came up. A neighbor recommended Done! Plumbing. Like the first plumber, they had me over a barrel too. Who turns away a plumber in hand when they don't have hot water in these days of supply chain issues and high inflation? So I paid what I was pretty sure was a lot more than was the going rate. A LOT more.

So 2 weeks later when my A/C went out, I didn't really trust them, but I sure didn't have much hope of finding an honest, reasonable A/C contractor that could be over in the next week. The temps were well into the 90's. So I set up the appointment for 8 days out and slept in the basement. I forgot to check my warranty on my A/C unit till the 7th day. It was only 4 years old and had a 10-year warranty so I called Done! to be sure they would work with that. They flatly refused. But I'd waited that long and thought maybe, just maybe, they wouldn't over-charge me for this repair. So I kept the apptmt and when the guy got there, he quickly diagnosed the problem: a defective capacitor. The price to replace it? $500.00! I saw how quickly the guy had removed it and knew replacing it would be quick. I felt pretty sure $500.00 was way too much. I tipped the guy but declined the work.

The prior weekend a friend had recommended a guy who'd just replaced her entire HVAC system. She said he was a decent, fair-priced man. So I set an apptmt with him for 6 days after the apptment with Done! I had survived the heat 8 days, I could survive another 6.

That guy did work with my warranty and replaced the capacitor in less than an hour. He charged a small trip fee and $150.00 for his labor. I paid a total of $175.00 when Done! was going to charge $500.00.

I'll never work with Done! Plumbing again.

Technician (Austin Friend) was able to come out on a Sunday without an exorbitant charge. He was vey courteous and considerate and diagnosed the problem quickly. We talked through several options and his explanations were clear and helpful. He completed the work in a reasonable time frame.  I would definitely use them again!

Technician DJ Gandee was very thorough in explaining options for purchase of new water heater and in showing me how to operate it. He was also very friendly in answering all my plumbing questions. Service was scheduled within one day of my call. Best HVAC install experience I've had as a homeowner. Definitely recommend!

Great job again Done Plumbing and Heating! I have worked with Done several times now... I negotiated and came to a deal on a brand new Carrier furnace and Done will be installing the furnace this upcoming Saturday. Thank you to Jessica and Tavish for again making my experience terrific working with Done. I also had Lincoln and Austin out to fix a pipe/drain issue and within an hour they were gone and the issue was fixed. A little pricey but there is no price you can put on peace of mind and with Done, you get the peace of mind that most people need. I highly recommend this company for all your plumbing, heating and cooling, etc.. needs. Thank you!

Done with Done:  Wish I had taken the time to read Done's Yelps reviews, would have saved $59 and wasted time.

Requested a quote to repair a leaking drain fitting in my ceiling.  Done's guy arrived on time in a fancy logo covered truck and spotless uniform.  After assessing the issue, he presented me with an estimate of nearly $1400 for a projected two-hour job. That works out to almost $700 per hour! Astonishing! Moreover, I had already purchased the necessary fittings, created an access point in the ceiling, and cleaned up the mess.

I quickly sent Mr. plumber on his way with their $59 diagnostic fee.  This incident reminded me of a similar encounter I had last year with an appliance repair company. It made me ponder if their true business model revolves around extracting diagnostic fees. I've learned to exercise caution when dealing with companies that have fancy vehicles, uniforms, and flashy online advertisements. More often than not, such ostentation translates into exorbitant prices.

This experience motivated me to do the job myself.   I had already done the worst part, so overall, the repair was not difficult and only took about 45 minutes.   A real plumber could have done it much faster.

Having engaged in estimation work within the construction industry for around 50 years, I can confidently assert that outrageously high quotes typically indicate one of four things: 1. They perceive you as gullible. 2. They believe you have money and are ignorant. 3. They lack confidence in their ability to perform the job and thus quote an inflated price to dissuade you from proceeding with the deal.  4.  They know you are desperate and willing to pay just to get it done.

What do you think?

They came out same day, which was good. Then they quoted me, which was bad. Read the other reviews, these guys are crazy expensive. They want absurd amounts of money for simple jobs. My technician was literally shaking while giving me the quote, I assume because one would feel extremely nervous asking for $300 to replace a pressure relief valve that doesn't really need replacing.

Or maybe asking for $3,000 for a 40 gallon hot water heater install would make one a bit nervous. The water heater alone was quoted at about $1800, which if you aren't sure is about $500 if you buy it yourself. I understand some markup is necessary in the service business, I used to be in it -- but this is pretty ridiculous.

Or how about a $170 drain pan that costs about $10 and adds almost no time to a fresh water heater install?

The technician admitted, I don't make the prices.

I think the business model here is to overcharge people who accept the quotes, and people that deny the quotes pay the mandatory $40 trip charge. Win-win for them I guess.

The only reason they get 3 stars is because I have to give them some benefit of the doubt about their work quality which I know nothing about. I of course denied their offer, and I feel bad for those that accept it not knowing they are being gouged.

I fixed the pressure relief valve myself without replacing it in about 5 minutes. I should have tried that first.

I would give 0 stars if possible. They came out to look at my 14 year old furnace and told me I needed a new one. I told them I simply could not afford to buy one. I had another company come out,  they fixed the thermostat for $60 and told me that my furnace was in great running shape. I called Done back to see why their tech said I needed a new furnace when I did not. I asked to have my $199 that I had spent on an incorrect diagnosis fee refunded,  and they flatly refused even though they knew I do not need a new furnace. They are a bunch of charlatans. I do not recommend.  I had a company come out in Fall 2013 because the furnace was not working.  They said the flame sensor was dirty and they cleaned it. They said the furnace was in good working condition.  Apparently they did not put the furnace doors back on when they left. I did not go up into the attic to check. If I had known I would have called and asked them about it.   The furnace continued to work for the rest of the winter. In June of 2014 I replaced the thermostat myself.  When the Done tech came out I mentioned I had changed the thermostat but he never looked at it.  Since I had had the furnace looked at less than a year before I was suspicious of the Done tech ' s assessment.  The furnace was looked at by 3 companies in 1 year.  Two said it was running great.  The third said I needed a new furnace.  You do the math. The furnace runs fine.

I am delinquent in writing a review for excellent service. We had a continuous backup in our basement laundry room and had been told in the past that we may need to dig up the floor and replace the cast iron pipes. I was able to schedule an appointment on a Saturday for same day service. DJ arrived right on time and suggested a hydro jetting of the pipes with a follow up camera inspection to see if there was indeed a crack in the pipes or if additional repairs were necessary. He spent 3 hours jetting the pipes and explained the process every step of the way that when we have had backups cleared in the past it did absolutely nothing to clean all of the years of grease out of the pipes. He was also able to schedule Austin to come out the following day (on a Sunday again arriving right on time) to run his cameras through the line. We had the lines scoped last year so we did have our own video comparison and you could see the significant change after the hydro jetting process. The price was very reasonable for the services we received and no one attempted to sell us anything we didn't need. We couldn't have been more pleased with both technicians DJ and Austin were personable, knowledgeable and genuinely seemed to care about the job, their company and their co-workers. As promised we received a copy of the scope via email the following day so we have it for our records. We will definitely use Done again.

More than satisfied!

A first time homeowner stressed out about a backed up drain and Done! Plumbing gets it done!
The technician I had was extremely professional, knowledgable, and impeccably clean!

Hats off to Done! Plumbing, I plan on having more work done by you!

I'm new to the area and just had new kitchen cabinets installed.  So you can imagine how I felt when the kitchen sink and dishwasher backed up!  Kevin from Done Plumbing arrived early, diagnosed the problem promptly and had all the equipment he needed on his truck to clean the drain and replace pipes under the sink.  He was clear about my options and the costs on his iPad.  I approved all services before the work was done so there were no surprises at the end of the job.  Kevin was very personable, professional and efficient. I plan to sign up for Done's service club so I can get routine furnace and AC tuneups on a regular basis. I'm glad to find a quality plumbing and heating/AC company for my new house.

I needed to have and entire drain line replaced in my house. Done Plumbing offered me the best price, which was 1/3 less than the last bid I got.

He got the estimate to me on Wednesday, and the project was completed by Friday. Tony and his team were very pleasant to work with. They showed me the progress each step of the way, and took pictures. They were all very courteous and even fun to have in my home, which can often be stressful.

The work completed was very high quality. Their equipment was modern, and the parts used were high-quality as well. From the piping to the concrete. I would recommend Done Plumbing to anyone wanting a quality job at a reasonable price.

I'll be using them in the future and be recommending them to everybody I know.

Absolute Shysters!  They tried to charge me $25K,  yes $25K for a sewer drain redo that in the end cost me $175!!!  Service is entirely spotty and depends on which plumber you get because the incentives are entirely based on up-selling for the plumbers.  Their interests are NOT aligned with the homeowner.  BEWARE.  Get recommendations from people you trust who have used good plumbers in the past. This is one of the biggest racket type industries in the country.

BEWARE. Yesterday I had Done Plumbing and Heating arrive at my home to clean and service my furnaces, they refused to give me any pricing until the tech showed up on site, at which time they tried to charge me almost DOUBLE what the 8 other companies I called had quoted me, $360 per furnace. When I said no that's the fee for a FULL CERTIFICATION I only need the fall CLEAN and TUNE-UP level of service he went out of my house made a call to his manger and magically came up with a coupon for $79 to clean each. He then proceeded to only blow out and clean, did NO tune up or check for any safety issues and then wrote all over my receipt that customer has declined inspection and requested only a cleaning. This is NOT what I requested I simply didn't want to pay double for a full certification when all I needed was a clean, tune up and the language on my receipt that the furnace was in working order with no safety issues. The Tech also left black soot marks on my carpet because he wore no booties which I now have to get cleaned. FOLKS, this has stopped my real estate closing in its tracks and now I have to hire ANOTHER company to come get it 'DONE' RIGHT! The company coming to clean up DONE's mess is charging me only $80 per furnace, is going to tune it up and do a basic safety check to insure all is in proper working order, be sure to ask if this is included in your service when you call a heating company, I got scammed.

Done! installed a new central AC system (with a new bonus air return vent) in my swamp-cooled 1972 house along with a new water heater and new furnace last summer.  (Old houses are expensive to update, y'all....) This most recent visit last night was to replace an existing and terribly installed ...Moen.... kitchen faucet with a new and beautiful Delta.

Terence Ireland was my tech and did a fantastic job.  He had to literally saw away the old faucet as it had been cross threaded by someone who apparently has no business doing DIY work.  He was extremely professional and knowledgeable.  He wore booties even though I said it wasn't necessary.  He insisted it WAS because I had no way of knowing the conditions he had worked earlier in the day and you don't want your dog walking on that.  Can't argue with that.

Love this company.  The gal who called after the appointment was polite (sorry, I don't remember her name) and the other gal, Jessica who confirmed my appointment is also always polite.

They are not cheap, however, and I'm way OK about that.

I have had 3 separate experiences with them (2 plumbing issues they were able to resolve, and 1 new furnace install), and I have been very satisfied each time. Thank you for sending out such a great tech. We had no heat all night - when temps outside got down to single digits. We were chilly inside at 66°. They had a tech here within 3 hours of me calling. He spent a little less than 2 hours getting our furnace repaired at a very reasonable cost. He was very thorough in his work. He said originally that there was possible damage to the motor (about $650), but he ultimately said the motor seemed to be ok afterall (although he couldn't guarantee we wouldn't end up having to replace it - I'm so glad he didn't charge us for an expensive part that he wasn't positive if we even needed to replace - very honest, which was appreciated).

I am still shocked over the horrible service & pressure sales tactics I received last Friday.  They started out telling me to buy a new hot water heater that would be $3000 installed because all the codes had changed since my hot water heater was installed 6 years ago, then dropped the price to a little over $2000.  Because I had questions and concerns about spending this much, the service technicians told me they had spent too much time at  my house and had to get onto the next call.  The $39 trip charge I was forced to pay will be chalked it up to a very bad experience, but I plan to tell everyone I know to avoid using Done Plumbing & Heating at all costs!!!!  They are even worse than Applewood.  Oh and by the way, 4 hours later Sears fixed my hot water heater for $150 and provided a 1-year warranty on the work they completed.  After 1 time, I'm DONE with Done Plumbing & Heating!

We have used Done for years and are a part of their membership . We get a free inspection on  one item either furnace , AC UNIT OR WATER HEATER & plumbing every year . This year they noticed We didn't have one of these services so  let me they scheduled two within months . However, today service was beyond amazing . We returned to town Sat night  and woke up the next morning with 62 in the house . We figured the pilot light was blown out with extremely windy day on Friday . That same day my husband felt ill and tested positive
For Covid . We did not want someone coming out and being exposed so we roughed it a couple days and used the fireplace . I called a couple days later to see what protocol they had . The manager himself came out himself as the techs did not feel comfortable being exposed even tho my husband was confined and I was not testing positive . The manager was so very kind and  said that his priority was to get us heat . He found the problem and it wasn't a pilot light . He gave me an estimate , went out to get the motor to be replaced and installed it on our furnace while wearing a mask as I was too. We sure appreciate him putting us first and seeing our need and making it all happen .

I wish I would have reviewed this site before calling Done Plumbing (also known as it's done plumbing)

I have an outside faucet that has a constant drip so I called Done plumbing. As noted by another person, they quoted a $39 trip charge which would be credited. (Fair enough)

The tech called me with his diagnosis (replace the faucet like I knew) and quoted me $400. I told him that is a lot more than I thought it would be and asked him for his price breakdown. He told me that he doesn't have it and this is just the standard rate to replace a leaky faucet.

I told him that the part is $10-20 at home depot so I wanted him to clarify that his labor price is $380. He again told me that he can't break it out for me and that it also includes a warranty in the price.

I told him that I won't pay that and he asked me if I would be interested in joining their members program in order to get special pricing. It was $100 to join & get the special rate of $80 off my $400 quote (total $320 if I join the club for $100)

I told him no again and he then asked me how much I would be willing to pay because he might be flexible. I again asked him to explain his pricing and why it is so high. I want to know what the part costs, how long he expects the job to take, and what his rate is. (I want to understand why). He told me for the last time that he can't do that and he hung up the phone.

AWFUL SERVICE!!!!!

Professionals Doing Their Job Right.

On Saturday morning I noticed my 15 YO 50gal water heater was draining hot water like crazy. By Saturday afternoon, when it had not stopped, I called a few local plumbers who got good marks (avoiding the Applewoods and the Ben Franklins this time round), and Done! answered the call with a human - a very nice human - who provided detailed info over the phone about what to do or not do after hearing what was going on and checking with a specialist while I was on hold. They gave me a 2 hr service window for Sunday morning. On Sunday morning the home office called to let me know the Tech was on his way. The tech arrived on time (i'd gotten a confirmation email with his badge and photo).

It's got to be tough to own a Colorado service company these days, with the national and local economies doing so well - yet, time and again it is the businesses that focus on employee retention that rise above the rest. The service tech (who was training a new hire onsite) was a 5 year employee of the company, and had extremely favorable opinion of his employer and he made a tough job look almost routine because of his professionalism. Will be calling this Co. first in the future.

Employee retention = Happy Customer = Customer Retention.

PS - The techs signed the newly installed heater with their names and the date of install. Nice touch.

Done! was in my kitchen for 5 minutes to unclog a drain and flipped pages back and forth in this gigantic book and said $272.00. 5 minutes mind you. Then he had the nerve to try and sell some drain cleaner. Heard tell other people have been told they need heavy equipment dig up the front yard. Big Fat Scam !!!!!

This is an update to the ripoff I experienced from Done! I found the invoice and credit card slip. I was mistaken about the cost-it wasn't 272.00----it was 289.67----- As I said, not in my kitchen for 5 min.. I would like to let anyone see the copies of the bill and charge card receipt that would like.

Came to simply tighten a loose faucet tha I was unable to reach and fix a leak in same.
SALESMAN /plumber said he could not fix the leak in this type of faucet as he had run all over trying to fix one like it before and could not find a part.
He could, however install and faucet which he brought in to show me. It would cost $378.00. He also said he could not shut off either of the water valves underneath the sink and had me go downstairs to shut off all water. These valves would have to be replaced.
I opted to have him tighten the loose faucet. I paid him  the $99.00 for this service and he left.
The next day I shut off the water under the sink (only cold it would shut off !) I went to Home Depot easily bought a new cartridge for a bit over $18.00. I came home and replaced it. The longest portion of this job took was the drive to and from the store.
Caveat emptor!!!
I am positive there are much less expensive plumbers who would not try to SELL unneeded expensive services.
Won't use them again!

I haven't been contacted by Jeff, and he has not left any messages for me on my landline.  He doesn't have my phone number or address.  Jeff is telling a story that isn't true.

To begin with the work was done on 1/19/2010 before the new state standards where in place.   At the time of the work done my bill was $1597.85, which is outrageous.

I  have been ticked off about this for 4 years, and Jeff I don't want you contacting me, we have nothing to talk about.

I'm thankful for Yelp, which has given me this opportunity to express my concern to others.

Warning!!! We contacted Done to repair our 2-year old Carrier Furnace. They charged $79.00 for the service call and attempted to charge us an additional $510.00 per hour to replace the faulty blower, plus parts! They were attempting to charge us for 2 hours labor for a total of $1020.00, plus the cost of the parts which were under warranty.

Before you use Done Plumbing, ask them what their hourly rate is!!!

Over $500 per hour for service is a complete and total scam!!!  Avoid this company at all costs!

The good: quick response time, professional technician & we believe the work to have been done well. They do guarantee their work for one year.

The bad: very costly! While I take responsibility for a miscommunication between my husband and I for even going forward with Done Plumbing & Heating to do the work, the fact remains that they charged nearly double than at least two other quotes I was provided. $392 to replace a hose bib on an outdoor spigot, install an extra valve (which I'm still not quite sure was really necessary) and the tech was on-site less than an hour. I feel the charge was excessive and therefore we won't be using this company in the future.

I had a clogged kitchen sink, and I usually try to fix things myself before calling a plumber.  In this case, I took apart all of the PVC pipes underneath my sink, and then tried to snake the drain with a handheld drain snake, but no matter how many times I tried, I couldn't get the drain to clear.

It was late at night, so I contacted Done Plumbing on the internet and filled out a simple form.  Their website said they would call back between 7 am and 8 am the next day if it was after hours, and that's exactly what happened: they called me up to confirm my information, and then set up a time to come see me.

About 30 minutes before the plumber came to see me, I got a call indicating the approximate time he would arrive, and he arrived right on time.  He asked a few questions and got to work.  I asked him for an estimate to clear the drain and replace all of the PVC piping underneath the kitchen sink, and the estimate was about $400.  I signed off on it, and he got to work.

He was very communicative; he showed me what was working and what wasn't; after he fixed it, he had some suggestions about things I could do to keep the drain clear in the future and I was quite happy.  His estimate was right on target.

After he cleaned up and left, I got another call about an hour later from Done Plumbing just to check that everything had been done to my satisfaction, which I reported it was.

I also got follow-up emails and the invoice was emailed to me.

I had a very good experience and the only reason I didn't put down 5 stars was just that it was more than I really wanted to pay.

I would definitely call Done Plumbing again if I get stuck in a situation I can't fix myself.  My plumber's name was Lincoln, and he was great.

I've spent over $12,000 with this firm over the last 3 years for plumbing repairs on my rental home.   Now I live in my rental property permanently and found my new furnace has a non-standard sized air filter.
I called to express my disappointment with this fact.   I was civil and professional in my consumer complaint.
Today I need an outside spigot replaced and I have been told by the Done Plumbing dispatcher there is a note on my file indicating they cannot do business with me.

If that is the way they do business, that is fine but I would like other potential customers to know this is how they roll.
In summary - from sewage obstruction to furnace repairs - it was NEVER ever a minor repair - 9k and 3k respectively.
Just sayin, buyer beware.

Having bought the annual membership ($240) to save money and gain priority in the queue when we needed a plumber, I needed a tub faucet fixed, waited 3 days for an appt. and got a $440 bill (part was $15, as I had bought one myself).  Plumber was good communicator, but pricing is messed up.  recommendation, try another company.

Done installed a new household air conditioning unit for us in July of 2011.  I was very displeased at the time but am writing a review now because this very expensive unit (around $5K) is not working.
Our installer/salesman sold us this new Amana unit explaining that it has a very advanced 'two-stage' process that would operate primarily on the lower stage but would kick into high gear on particularly hot days.  We previously had an underpowered unit, so this was very appealing.  It was not until he was finished that he told us the 'two-stage' feature would only work if we also purchased a new furnace at the same time that would 'talk' to the new A/C.  Our current furnace worked fine and is in good shape and the expense was unaffordable and unnecessary.  We complained to someone at Done but got no response.
We have since learned that this A/C unit is seriously over-sized for the square footage and design of our house.  The installer apparently started the wiring process for the new furnace he was going to sell us which caused some bad feedback this winter and our previously fine furnace stopped working on a 15 degree day.  Our repairman was able to get it going again but disabled the A/C to stop it from interfering with the heater.
Today, we had our trusty repairman out to get the A/C working again and he could not do it.  The wiring is so strange, he could not sort it out even after studying the manuals we were given.  We will now have to pay more money to a specialist to figure this out.
This whole experience with Done has left a disgustingly sour taste in my mouth and I will tell everyone I know that they are a crooked company.

I liked the tech who was at the house, but to be quoted $800 just to have a  Facet place is way over, that is $500 in labor. Also I was charged $60 just for them to look at three minutes. It was not even disclosed that I would be charged that amount.

I had previously written a review that was very negative about Done Plumbing.   I would like to update my review.  Shortly after my review was posted I received a response from Lucas.  Not only do I appreciate the fact that he took the time to follow up with my concerns, he turned a negative into a positive.   After our phone conversation I felt it was the right thing on my part to be fair with Done Plumbing and express my sincere appreciate for a company that make customer service a top priority.

* Since writing this review they actually sent us a refund check for the trip charge of $39.00, which I was pleasantly surprised to get.

I will never call a large company like this again.  Thank goodness we did not use them and went with a local mom and pop company here in Arvada instead (see my review of that company under my reviews)

Done! Plumbing is EXPENSIVE!!!!!  We had a leak in our basement coming from the shower and toilet drain pipes.  We called Done because we wanted to get several quotes.  The sales man (and I call him a sales man because that is what he was, not a master plumber).

I explained to him that when we used the shower in either bathroom, it would leak in the basement.  He looked at the spot were the water was leaking from the ceiling and looked at the bathrooms to get an idea of where the leak would be coming from.  He did not even try to find any leak before quoting us a price for the work.  HUH?  Don't you have to do a little investigative work to know what you are quoting before quoting me a huge price tag?

First, they charged us $39.00 just to come out and look at the water drip and look at my bathrooms (never tried flushing a toilet or turning on a shower to see where the leak would be coming from.

He was here for maybe 10 minutes and quoted me $199 / hour for labor (to find the leak)  Then he quoted me ~500 + for parts and labor to fix said leak (from a 2-inch ring binder price book!!!)  Said it would be about a 3 hour job maybe more.  Uh, we called someone else and wrote off the $39.00 fee as a loss.

The OTHER company we called (see my review on them) came out the next day, actually looked for the source of the leak, found it, fixed it in 2 hours and charged us under $200.  So, we paid about 75% less using another company.

Please do your research before calling a large company like this, local owned small businesses are the best to go with.  Oh, I forgot to mention that after he quoted me the price of labor if I were to pay $99.00 I could join their plumbing club and get a2 year membership pricing for $169.00 / hour for labor.  excuse me???  that is why I called him a sales man and not a master plumber.

After an attempted DIY installation of a new faucet and drain, we experienced multiple leaks with the next day being Thanksgiving.  We called It's Done a little before noon and we're pleasantly surprised they could send a plumber out to help with our emergency.  Roscoe and Luis were at my house within a half an hour and informed me there were many mistakes we had made plus he informed us we needed new lines rather than the existing copper pipes because they were too large/long for the new sink plus we also needed new supply valves.  He also corrected the mistake I made to get the new sink and drain to fit plus cutting off the the lower half of the new drain as it was too long to fit my plumbing.  Less than one hour later they were done and everything was dry plus looked fabulous.  They did a great job plus came out the day before Thanksgiving.  Thanks a ton!!!

Super Bowl Sunday - I needed a plumber. They answered the phone and had a plumber at my door in 60 minutes. He was dressed nicely with a mask and shoes coverings. He inspected my issue, told me how he would fix it and gave me an exact cost. I said go to work and he did. Four hours later the problem was fixed, he did a great job, cleaned up and tested everything. I will use DONE PLUMBING again and highly recommend them.

I had Done come out twice. The first time was for a slow drain in the bathroom. They were very courteous and prompt on arrival. We noticed a few weeks later that our basement was flooding. We called Done again and someone was out first thing in the morning. Nick came out and snaked our drain, taking about 1.5 hours to fix my problem. Overall we are very satisfied with Done and would recommend to others. NOTE** Plumbing isn't cheap! Remember, you get what you pay for! Here, you get professionalism, honesty, and punctuality. Thank you for a job well DONE!

We have used Done before and had no problems with price or plumber but this recent experience has me question ever using them again. They charged us $700+ to install a faucet in our kitchen sink. We questioned the price and the employee was rude, insisted it was the going rate. We already had purchased faucet so we didn't understand the price for a basic labor job. We are elderly and feel we were ripped off because of it. Do your research before choosing this company.

After reading through the other Yelp comments, we chose to work with Done to complete some immediate need HVAC and plumbing work.  In working to sell our house, we were requested to clean and certify the furnace and clean out the sewer line of small roots.  Being in a significant time crunch, we chose the more expensive Done as they had capacity (should have been the first warning).  Done charged an arm and a leg for the HVAC work and busted up the sliding door in front of the furnace requiring us to fix a bunch of the busted slats and that's where the fun starts.  After 'clearing' the sewer lines for an above normal price, they failed to pass inspection.  Having emailed them the clear instructions from the inspector, they charged me a reduced rate of $99 to come out again and work on the lines.  Ignoring the instructions, they used the same exact sized bit to try and clear the sewer lines and failed inspection again.  Moreover, their tech put a big hole in my wall and left without talking about the hole or work performed deciding to call me instead to relay the information. Their customer service has been unhelpful and downright rude about the whole situation without realizing the potential for the house sale to fall through due to their inability to follow simple instruction.

Read through all the other comments and they appear to have been made by employees and/or family members of employees.  For a good price and quality work with a professional feel, I would highly recommend not going with Done.  They most certainly do not get it Done as per their standard response when you call.

FANTASTIC work! I am very picky when having things done and I could not be happier with the excellent work Anthony did. He is as good as you will find anywhere, a skilled professional who can tackle a problem and explain solutions easily and I was very impressed with his great work. I also had a short time window to get multiple plumbing tasks done due to my condo Association only keeping the water turned off for a specific time window, and Anthony got all the tasks completed in time with no issues he could not handle. Also the price was fair and I had gotten estimates from several highly rated companies. When you get top quality work like this, done by a true pro at a company that was easy to work with, at a good price, it really makes your day. Thanks Anthony, and thanks Done Plumbing. I will definitely call these guys first if I ever need another plumbing job done, they are the best!

I think we might be done with Done.  While they're fast to come and cheap for diagnostics, we've had mixed results on whether or not we can trust them.  They have misdiagnosed our issue on one occasion completely (missing a full sewage leak) and then, this last time, our plumber told us our toilet was discontinued (it was) but therefore unfixable and we needed a new one for $850.  In researching the  issue, we discovered that parts were still very much available for our model from the manufacturer, and that many plumbers in the area can fix our perfectly fine toilet.  Luckily, we were aware it wasn't a very old model from a reputable brand and that new toilets from Home Depot with install would be far less than $850 and cover exactly what Done was offering (no service, just parts).  The dishonesty that they didn't do the parts for our toilet was very upsetting though.  Doubt we'd call on them again.  2 times is not good.

I get that things are expensive and places like this are known for being a rip-off. I did not expect to be quoted $2400 today just to replace shower handles. I had them do similar work five years ago and it was less than half of that. $2400 for a couple hours of work and maybe $300 in parts. Totally ridiculous. Don't use them.

I wanted to take the opportunity to give a review for Deri, the technician who came to our house for what was initially a problem with our thermostat and AC.  When trying to decide what words to express; I realized that instead of your usual plus or minus review, it should be a Thank You for what Deri and Done Plumbing and Heating (DPH) did for us.

Shortly before the year 2017 began, our family had begun having the worst luck.   As most Coloradoans know, weather in our state can turn with a flip of a switch leaving us with a need for heat or AC.  I had used DPH before and signed up for the 1st Service Club, which has been a great investment.  When I could not get the thermostat to work DPH sent Deri to our home.  He was able to determine, just by our description, what was wrong, and had it fixed in a short amount of time.  Shortly after Deri left, the smoke alarms throughout our house started to scream.  I immediately called DPH and spoke with Libby expressing my intense concerns with what was happening.  Within a very short amount of time Deri was back at our door.   He immediately checked the furnace and assured me that there wasn't a fire and our home was safe.  He explained to me, after looking at an area that is not usually a part of a routine inspection due to the  extensive cost it would be to the client, we had debris that had gotten moist from the AC and when turning the furnace back on caused the debris to smoke but not enough to ignite.

Deri took it upon himself, with the agreement of DPH, to take as much time as needed to make sure all areas were checked. During this time my heart was in my throat with thoughts of the cost we were going to incur; only to find out that Done Plumbing and Heating understood my concerns regarding the previous inspection and gave us a FANTASTIC deal.

Deri showed great pride in not only his craftsmanship but also what a great company he was representing.  I was so impressed with Deri for what he had DONE for us that I gave him a hug before he left..  In doing so he made the comment that he was only doing what the company wants for their clients, complete satisfaction.

So, once again, Thank You to Deri and everyone at Done Plumbing and Heating, for a job well DONE.

I have used Done Plumbing and Heating for several years, starting with the installation of a new furnace and air conditioner.  Since then they have been here several times for plumbing and water problems.  They do a good job. The problem is you usually have to wait till the next day for a technician to get here.  Apparently they have a good business and lots of customers who need help immediately.  I wish they could get to my problem the same day, but that seldom happens.  I will continue to use their services.

1st off let me say that I do not know anyone who works for this company(I live in florida)I read a lot of reviews of plumbing and dran companies(I have been in the drain cleaning business for over 35 years).most of the negative reviews are not the fault of this company as far as I can tell.people do not realize that the industry has changed.most companies are not hourly anymore, most are flat rate.most require a signature before work is started quoting a price.most of the complaints are of someone feeling taken advantage of because they found a lower price a day later.(nevermind the fact that a guy comes to your house in the cold or dead of night)hell if low price is your only concern call a joker on craigslist!!! and a $39 service charge.for petes sake it costs more than that for fuel to pull up to your front door...as I said I look at reviews all over but I must say customers in los angeles, boston and Denver are the biggest cry babies

These people are amazing! I am not excited about the fact that I have spent close to $30,000 with them over the last 5 years, however they are great. I have a basement ejector pit that had to be completely replaced and then the pump when out on it and they had to replace it 4 years later. I also had original clay pipe main line that broke and they replaced my entire main line. None of this has been cheap but the service is great, the technician are always very courteous and helpful. Used Yelp to help me select a plumbing company to help install a new waterline for my fridge. Contacted Done Plumbing on a Sunday, promptly scheduled a tech to come out to inspect & give quote for $59 or apply that amount to the charge if authorized today (Tuesday). Technician John B. Arrived ahead of schedule (approved of course) & was professional, friendly and knowledgeable about our request. The expense was a bit more than I had anticipated. No pressure from John, he reviewed my options and gave me time to make my decision. Ended up having the work done. The work was solid & the installed line look neat & professional he cleaned up & was on his way in about 2 hrs from the time he arrived to completion. Can't wait for the new fridge to arrive!

Holy cow!!!!! Amazing company in every way -- and that's not just an opinion. That's a fact! The knowledge and warmth and clarity in which our master plumber, JASON WINKLER, provided was outstanding. He was fair, considerate, and made sure we weren't 'taken' -- he provided all the facts, proof/evidence, and options that we had to fix our issue. He's amazing. As for Done Plumbing, my goodness, this is one business that knows what they're doing. We had a refrigerator that didn't have a $2 fitting on the end of the hose coming out of it, and we needed a fitting put on in order to connect it to the existing tap behind the refrigerator.  We also needed a $10 water line to connect it to that tap.  I usually like to avoid work, so I'm willing to pay  to have somebody do it.

We called Done Plumbing, and they said they'd charged a $39 trip charge to come quote us on the job, and would waive that charge towards whatever the charge was for the job.  Super, fair enough.

They showed up nice and quick.  Then the real nice guy quoted my wife $329 for the job.  Shocker.  My wife called me up with the news, and of course I told the guy no way, and he said, okay, we can get it done for $279.

Great, so if I say nothing, they're willing to screw me out of 50 extra bucks on top of taking me for 279 bucks.

Needless to say, I didn't throw good money after bad, paid the $39 trip charge, and chalked it up to experience.  We won't be calling these folks again.

Contacting and setting up the appointment was easy but it went down hill after that. We had a leak in our water line at a T connector under one of the connectors. The line was in our basement so it was easy to get to, I would have fixed it myself if I had the time. The first technician that arrived was very friendly but did not have the tools necessary to fix the problem so another technician was called. When he arrived he did not introduce himself or say one word, just waked right in and waited for me to show him the problem area. After inspecting the leak he too said he did not have the needed tools but would go get them. About 90 minutes later he shows up fixes the problem in under an hour and gives us a bill of $500. In my opinion the bill should have been half that amount at the most. Patching a clear tube hose under a plastic connector should not cost $500. Live and learn I guess. Next time I'll ask for an estimate from at least 3 different companies.

Had the most wonderful experience calling Done Plumbing. Had an issue with a drain and Done came out same day I called. James was very prompt with his work, polite, treated my house as if it was his own. He wore booties over his shoes and put booties on machine wheels. I just had brand new flooring installed and he ensured that he wouldn't track anything in home. He even went the extra mile by putting blankets down when doing the work. He kept things clean and worked in a timely fashion. The customer service was outstanding. Gave me prices up front before doing any work, helpful tips to maintain drains and I even learned a thing or two from him. I highly recommend James and will be calling Done for all my plumbing needs!

I usually have Brothers do this type of work but they couldn't come for a week and Done came to look at it the next day and we set the appt. for the day after that. The service man arrived on time and did a great job, although I had to pay for an upgrade to my duct work to meet code that I wasn't expecting. I've used them twice in the last four years, and each time I was completely satisfied.
My most recent problem was a burst supply line somewhere in the walls around my downstairs bathroom.  The technician (Chad) did an excellent job of tracking down the source of the leak, while doing the minimum amount of hole cutting in the walls necessary to find the problem.
After locating the problem he was able to create a new T junction to replace the old damaged one.
Very satisfied and I will continue to use this company.

It was the first week of January, and when we went downstairs at 6am our heater wasn't working. We tried all the normal troubleshooting steps and determined we needed a professional. Done Plumbing & Heating had great reviews, so we called them at 7am. They answered the phone and had a technician to our house by 9:30am. In advance of his arrival, I had an email with the name and photo of our technician (Tavish), so I knew who to expect. In the end, our 6yo furnace needed to have the gas valve replaced. The technician didn't have the part on his truck, so he went to get it and then installed it for us. We had a great experience, and I would definitely call Done again if we need plumbing or HVAC assistance.

Always have had great service from Done! However the latest problem we had started off horrible. We had a leak however the first tech that was sent couldn't find it. He did however cut seven holes in the ceilings and drywall only to conclude the leak was due to condensation and to wait a week before repairing the holes. We were charged $175.00. Well the leak continued so we called again. The company sent out a great guy named Nick who found the leak within five minutes of his arrival and repaired the leak and was done within an hour. Very disappointed with the first tech however Nick made up for it.

We left our hose on our hose bib and as Murphy's Law would have it, got a good freeze over night and caused our hose bib to burst.  This was in the early/middle Fall time frame and so I could still water my lawn at this time.  When watering my lawn, the pressure was really low.  Naturally I thought something isn't right.  Well, that burst hose bib did a nice job of putting water behind our walls.  Long story short we called Done Plumbing & Heating and the Tech Rasco came out to replace the hose bib in a location we could actually get to it and also put in a shut-off valve so that we cold close it in the Denver Metro area cold months.  Rasco was professional and explained everything well.  Though I am never happy about spending money for something like this because it was dumb fault, Done couldn't have made the situation any easier.  Thanks for a job well done!

Overpriced. Cost nearly $300 to troubleshoot and determine what I already told them was a compressor failure. And parts/labor to repair was more than what I paid for the original system, all-in, parts and labor. This company cashes in and could care less if you're a long term customer or not. Regret calling them in the first place.

Well, where do I begin? These guys have been out to my house about 5 times in the past year. It started that I had a bad leak under my sink. They came out & determined that the garbage disposal needed a new seal & the screws needed tightening. Of course, I was thrilled that it wasn't something more serious. Within a few weeks, it started leaking again & I found 2 screws on the floor under the sink. I called them & they came back out & charged me to tighten screws. This happened 3 more times after that. The last 2 times, I asked if possibly the seal they put in was not good? Or perhaps the screws were stripped?  The last guy said absolutely not, he had never seen screws just fall out like that & then said the only possibility was that I got under the sink, unscrewed the screws & then called them. Okay, they caught me. This is how I have my fun; squeezing my almost 60 year old, arthritic self under my sink to unscrew my garbage disposal just so I can have the pleasure of paying these guys to come over...SERIOUSLY!!  I asked if he was serious & he actually said there was no other explanation & literally refused to check the seal or anything else.
I finally gave up & called another plumbing company. Within 2 minutes of looking under the sink, he took pictures to show me how corroded the seal was & that it would have been impossible to adhere a seal or to successfully screw in screws. ( we bought this house 3 years ago & had no idea how old it was). The corrosion was so bad, it had actually created a small leak on the side of the disposal. I am not a plumber, but when he showed me the pictures, it was obvious how bad it was. How could these guys at Done not have a clue?
WORST PLUMBING EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

The main office seemed very on the ball.  Called to confirm the appointment and called afterward to make sure we were satisfied. Their pricing seemed high for the service performed but we were told they use formula billing like everyone else. Technician was on time and completed the job in a timely fashion. He was not however very friendly, in fact rather grouchy and did not sweep up the mess after he was done albeit a small mess.... would have spoken volumes if he had. Hopefully this was an isolated instance but we will not call them again.

Called on Saturday to find out when they could come out to fix two leaky faucets.  Lady answering phone was unfriendly.  I told her not an emergency, but wanted to know when they would call me back.  She said they were open tomorrow (Sunday).  I asked if they would call me on Sunday, she repeated that they were open on Sunday, I repeated will they call me on Sunday, she repeated that they were open????  Just tell me if you're going to call, don't understand why she wouldn't answer my question.  Meanwhile, it is now Monday and no one has called.  Trying a different plumber, you should do the same.

Look elsewhere unless you're comfortable spending a lot of money for simple repairs. Was quoted $232.00 to clear out a mainline once the tech arrived. When I initially made the appointment (for a rental property), I informed them that this was the problem. They don't do quotes over the phone. Tech was there for 32 minutes and BOOM, GONE! Unfortunately, I was in a position where the tenant needed their plumbing to work ASAP. But if you have an inclination that it may be a simple repair that your house needs, like clearing a mainline, go elsewhere! Way too expensive!!!

I had to have a household water filter removed and replaced in my basement.  The work completed was very good and I had no problems with the technician who did the work.  That's why I gave them 3 stars.  What I'm knocking them down for is for the amount they charged me.  Their minimum service fee of $199 is to high in my opinion.  It took the tech only 30 min to do the work.  Fortunately, I had the foresight to purchase the replacement filter at Lowes for $57 before he came out.  According to the tech, it would have been between $400 and $500 if they would have supplied the part.

I don't have a problem with a service company making a reasonable profit, but $400 per hour??????  Shop around and ask about the company's minimum service charge before using these guys.  In my opinion, they're way too expensive

I had a short notice requirement with unusual requests and Done was able to meet them.  In addition, the tech they sent out, Jamey N. was the best!  Took the time to listen, didn't try to upsell me, and was responsive to what I needed at the moment while offering me a number of options to meet my needs.  A true professional.  Definitely recommend!

RIP OFF! I called this company because I received a $25 off coupon in the mail. I should have known I was in for it when the company refused to give me an estimate for cleaning a bathtub drain over the phone. The plumber didn't mention the $40  travel fee until after the job was done, and somehow the bid rose from $100 to $350....AND he kept trying to sell me crap. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are not honest.

My dishwasher began leaking and broke through the drywall in my ceiling in the basement.  I called Done! and booked and appointment for a 2 hour arrival time.  Much to my surprise, Gavin arrived not only on time but early.  He was very friendly, very professional, and quoted me lower on my repair than the two plumbers I had already seen.  (both of which showed up at least an hour and a half late without a call.)  He finished the repair in about 45 minutes without having to bust out more of my ceiling.  (The other two plumbers said that they would have to remove a much larger portion of my ceiling just to get to the problem.)  Gavin was very careful to cover the area before he started the work and left it spotless when he was done.  After the job was finished, I called Done! to express how impressed I was with Gavin and asked that he be listed on my profile as my preference for a tech if I should ever call back and need a plumber.
I would refer this company and Gavin to anyone who needs a good, honest, affordable plumber.
I was very impressed.

We spent over $600 for work that did not alleviate the problem. The plumber sent last tried to coerce me into buying more products to avoid any further charges. (The products were overpriced by about the amount he was offering to waive.)  Several of the plumbers sent stayed less than 15 minutes and told me ridiculous things like I needed to replace caulk (for a leak that causes very large puddles) so I definitely should have been charged for those visits. Only two visits included any work whatsoever and we had already purchased a membership that included all trip fees. The last visit is the only time charges of any kind were waived and it would not have happened if I had not stood my ground. No one offered to. I had to insist.

I am going to give them one last chance but it is not off to a good start. I was told someone would call me to discuss my concerns before my scheduled visit and did not receive a call by late the evening before. When I called I was told it might not be possible to contact me before the appointment anymore.

Very disappointed. I was told the drain cleaning special was $99. The tech came our and told me that my drain was a secondary drain and would be $264. He looked at the job and stated I would need new plumbing. This piping was only 5 years old. He said his snake would probably not fix the problem, because it couldn't clear a p-trap. I had another company come in snaked the drain told my the plumbing was fine. Didn't have a problem with the p-trap. It only cost me $95. Last time they came out the plumber replace the small line behind my toilet to my wall he was last there than less than a half-hour and charge me $400

I waited all afternoon yesterday for them to send someone and they kept cancelling and changing the time frame.  So we rescheduled for today and they send this guy who from the minute he walked in the door did not stop talking EVEN long enough for me to tell him the problem or for him to quote me a price for extra work!  He talked about everything, like a used car salesman, and I could not get a word in!  I finally said can you stop for a minute so I can tell you what I want?  He got furious, called me a nasty woman and said he wouldn't work for me!  Fine...if I can't find out what the quote is exactly for, ask questions or share my concerns we're done.  So he called the company and who knows what he told them but they called and said they will not work for me.  HA HA HA, they just lost a big job...what a rotten experience.  For you who may call anyway the plumber's name is Charlie.  BTW, whatever the owner responds with he doesn't know how this guy bad mouthed the work of the other plumber or was absolutely in his own little world rather than LISTENING to the customer!

We hired Done plumbing for a rather large project, to excavate and replace our sewage line.  We were assured quick and professional service since they have done it countless times.

We decided to pay the extra money, assuming we would get what we paid for.  Sadly, higher cost does not mean better service.

Our main issue was the lack of communication.
Communication within:  One example, the contractors unexpectedly came to do work one day to lay some cement.    Unfortunately they forgot to schedule the cement so they decided to do a temporary fix because they were unsure when they would be able to do a full fix.  They called around but couldn't get it so they ended up mixing a few bags in a front-loaders arm.  The very next day another crew came and removed the still wet cement temporary fix.

Communication with us:  Days would go by where no work was done.  We would end up calling out of frustration and sadly it felt like this was the only way to get any work done.  There were times we left voice messages and never heard back.  Suddenly days after they would show up unannounced early in the morning to do work.  I even called twice to talk to a manager, we were told they were busy and one would get back to us at their earliest convenience.  We never did receive a call back.

The project finally concluded and we asked the project manager why the project was not finished sooner since they promised us quick and professional service, the responce it was not a high enough priority.

Original discussed time: 5 days to 2 weeks.
Acual time 1 month 12 days.

Project cost: Over $8,000

I called Done to repair a small drip in a crimped off 3/4 inch water line in our basement. When the service tech came out today, he quoted me $457 to make the repair. I'm no expert, but that seemed way too high and the tech said he could go as low as $350, but that was it. I decided to just pay the $39 service fee and figure out another way to make the repair. After a call to my brother, who is a master plumber out of state, I learned I could easily fix the issue with a tube cutter and Shark Bite end cap, total cost=$24.37. Done Plumbing: thanks for helping me understand the value of do-it-yourself jobs, especially when they are this cheap and easy!

We just moved into our new home and needed a lot of work on our water heater that was leaking CO2 into the home. We called Done Plumbing to have someone come out for an estimate on the venting. My roommate had done come over to light the pilot for the water heater since I was out of town. They were in and out in a few minutes. The pilot light went out shortly after they left. They told us we needed a new water heater....$2300. Upon returning home, I realized they just hadn't turned the water back on to. It works just fine.

Water heater still works just fine. Pilot light has not faltered at all.

We trust Done Plumbing and Heating completely.  Having used them for plumbing issues in the past and been completely satisfied, there was no question who we would call for AC problems.  Jamey was very helpful and completely knowledgeable about what system our home required.  We got quotes on everything from the best of the best all the way down to a simple AC replacement.  It's so refreshing when there are no high pressure sales.  When we decide which system we want we will definitely be calling Done!

Dishonest techs - RUN don't walk away from Done. They will lie to your face and try to upsell you into repairs you don't need. Horrible Company!

I had a hot water heater with a worn out thermocoupler. I called Done to have that part replaced and the rep they dispatched reset it (it has a small breaker) and rather than quote me on replacing the worn out part, he proceeded to lie about how my whole system was failing and needed a replacement costing over $4000, and this is for a residential 40 gallon hot water heater.

DO NOT trust Done, call someone else.

In response to my previous review, yes, I know Done's quote reflected the cost of install, labor and updates to meet code requirements. They are fast and friendly. I am the sole care taker of my house and I totally trust them with any plumbing issues I have had. They have always arrived on time, they take great care in advising me of the issues and the choices I have. The Technicians are well versed and totally honest. I once had to have the T pipes in my crawl space replaced, it was not easy as there is not much room there. The Tech did a great job and came back to do all of my pipelines and my house is now clean. I would highly recommend them to family and neighbors.

Great service yet again. When my furnace went out on Christmas Eve last year, Tavish from Done came out and installed a new unit that day. When my AC went out, I called Tavish and Done again and my expectations were exceeded for the second time in less than a year. Our entire sewer line had to be replaced a week after our wedding. This is one month after laying new sod and installing a new sprinkler system in our front yard. Needless to say, it was a stressful situation for us. Done did an amazing job of preserving as much of our yard as possible. This isn't the first time we've had Done at our house. We had a leak in our ceiling from a busted pipe. Roots in our lines. And we've just hired them to install a new furnace and water heater. Every new event that happens, we call them because we know they will do a good job and stand behind their work! They're also amazing people. We haven't met an employee yet that we've disliked. First off I want to say that this review has nothing to do with the job done.  I'm sure it was fixed properly by a skilled technician.  This has everything to do with the amount charged for the job.  The hot water in my spare bathroom shower was not working.  After doing a little bit of
research, I suspected that a cartridge needed to be replaced.  I live in a condo complex and so when something like this has to be done, the water has to be shut off for the whole building.  I thought about doing this myself, but I wonder if the hoa would provide me with the code to get into the closet to shut off the water.  I also figured that if something was wrong and it wasn't a simple fix, I could inconvenience others in my building with the water being shut off for a longer period of time.  So, I decided to coordinate this job with Done Plumbing.  Bryan was a very friendly guy and seemed very capable of doing the job.  I mentioned to him that I had a coupon for $50 off service before he began.  Before starting, he mentioned something about possibly having to drill into the wall (which sounded more involved than just a simple cartridge replacement).  He showed me the estimate before he began, but I thought that
included the more rigorous procedure that might have to be done.  After about 15 minutes, he
was done.  The damage was $318, which included the $50 off coupon.  This seemed to
me to be an excessive charge for such a quick fix/procedure.  Don't think I'll be calling Done Plumbing again.

Let's start with they lied from the beginning to trap me into hiring them.
I had a busted pipe and had a plumber we know and trust look at it.
He said hire someone to scope my kitchen sink to the main line, and that will give him the information he needs for the work.
So I called Done Plumbing because there were endorsed by Tom Martino.
Big mistake!
I told them exactly what I need (the kitchen scoping) and asked if they could do that.
Of course they said yet.
It was scheduled for a window on a Wednesday but they called me Tuesday saying they are on their way.
Even though I had email confirmation the appointment was on Wednesday, but they said ok they'll do me a favor and come the next day.
And they did.
That is where I learned they lied to me about what I hired them for.
The cocky Done Plumbing technician (more like just a salesman to close a deal) said he will only get the scope down there if we hire them for the entire job.
They are not in the business of doing just scoping.
But that's all I hired them for!
They should have told me that on the phone when I initially called them.
I have to sign a contract and pay the first half of minimum $3,800 (that's the discounted minimum before he even took a look at the problem).
He wasn't even a plumber but he diagnosed the plumbing problem enough to write a contract and require half the payment of $1,900 immediately?
I was frustrated that I have a busted pipe leaking in my basement and I called Done Plumbing and explained the situation and what I need to hire them for.  JUST THE CAMERA SCOPING!
But here he shows up and says company policy is to not do the camera scoping unless I hire them for the full job.
He was rude and condescending and talked to me like I'm a dumb clueless person.
Which I guess I was because by this time I was desperate and had not time to go back to the drawing board to find an honest plumbing company with a scoping camera.
He said drilling has to be done on one side of the room, however I have to get everything out of the room.
All furniture, everything.
I asked if I could just move it all to the side of the room he won't use.
He said no, EVERYTHING has to be removed so that his crew won't be accused of stealing.
Unbelievable.
Then he proceeded to pressure me to start at 8am the next day.
I said that won't give my tenant enough time to move everything out of the room, but he proceeded to pressure me to start at 8am the next day.
After enough pressure that I got frustrated he said ok, but he put on the contract that I will give him the day they could start by 12noon the next day.
After some time away from the shady sales pressure I realized I've just been scammed and wanted to cancel the contract.
In order to do so I had to send certified mail and they must receive it within 3 days of signature.
I also read in the contract that I cannot cancel if work already started, which explains the pressure to start at 8am the next day.
Stay away from these con artists!
Tom Martino gets paid for companies to advertise on his site, he's a crook like the rest of them.
I ended up hiring Hydro Physics to do the scoping ($150) gave that to my plumber and he fixed everything for $450.

Great service both in the office and with the tech. That earns them 5 stars. What gets them negative stars is price. I had replace and outdoor hose bib. Retail price for parts was under $60. Total cost? $661! So $600 for 40 minutes of work. I pushed back hard on the price, told tech he's crazy. I needed it done for a rental or I would have said thanks anyway. I also needed dishwasher installed; their price was $550...so I did it myself with no experience in 2.5 hours. I've used them for years, referred them to many clients (realtor). Won't use or refer them again.

My elderly mother had a clogged sewer line while my father was out of town and called Done. They sent three technicians to her home on 3 separate visits. The first guy stuck a camera in the kitchen drain and pulled it out saying it got wet and they would have to excavate. They sent two other men who came with the same message we need to rip up the basement carpet and bring in the jackhammers at an exploratory cost of $8500. The three visits with no work performed came to over $1000.

As she described the problem over the phone to me I suggested she contact a highly rated Yelp rotoscoping plumber.

He came the next morning and cleared the clog in 45 minutes charging my mother $116. He gave her advice on the type of plumbers to avoid, and apologized for seedier members of the trade.

Done literally took advantage an old woman. The worst kind of contractor.

Done has helped me now on two items, one for my home and one for my business. That is why I called in the first place. They did such great work for an affordable price at my house that it was a no-brainer to give them repeat business. First off, the appointment was delightfully easy to schedule. I was told that I'd receive a phone call an hour before the tech showed up. I was given the call and John showed up 45 minutes later. He showed me a price for the work he was about to do and then quickly got to it. He gave me an expectation of what I'd see while he was working (I'd get some water on the floor) and what I might see later on while my system gets used to having water back in the pipes. All went according to plan and John was finished in less than hour and I was able to get right back to work. Great work, great team, amazing service. No need to look anywhere else!!

Let me start by saying that Done Plumbing & Heating did not do any work for us. I have no comment on their work. I contacted Done for a bid required by our homeowner's insurance company. After a claim of water damage in our kitchen the cabinets had been removed and the dishwasher disconnected. I needed a bid for hooking up the dual sinks, reinstalling the garbage disposal and hooking up the drain and feed line to the dishwasher. Having done this work before myuself I knew that the job would, at the very most, take one hour plus travel time to and from the job. A very pleasant gentleman came to the house to provide me a bid, this cost $59.00. I assumed that the bid , at the VERY MOST would be $400.00. The bid he provided was $1,200.00. When I expressed my amazement, he said that if he had priced each function separately the bid would have been double that amount or $2,400.00 for one hours work. If you elect to call these people for plumbing or heating repair that you get a firm price up front. They appear to be the masters at surprise billing.

Devon was my Tech and he was awesome! He was very polite and professional but also personable. The pricing wasn't bad either. I would highly recommend this company and particularly Devon. Thumbs up!!
