Best Pipe Repair in Irvine CA
We had a blockage in our kitchen sink and they came and sorted it. Mario was very helpful and the price was reasonable. Would recommend and use again for any future plumbing needs.

MC Construction did a great job of replacing my old roof with a new energy efficient plywood & tile. They added a few more vents and also replaced some weathered fascia boards. I want to thank Josh K. for being flexible & working with me to stay in my budget! I would hire them again! Possible new bathrooms in the future!

MVP sent Erik Tejada out to look at my garbage disposal which was backed up. He was able to fix it and give recommendations for future improvements . MVP was really responsive. They responded to my online request in minutes and then Erik was at my house like 2 hours later.
He was also able to fix a clog in my bathroom tub and troubleshoot an issue with my toilet which I'll be having my landlord fixes. Erik and MVP are my new go to for my future plumbing needs. I would highly recommend them to others.

I've been using Service Champions for 3 years to maintain my heating and conditioning system, and highly reccomend their service. They are professional, considerate not to bother the household, and have made helpful suggestions & several options for the upkeep of our current system.

Bathroom tub stopped and I spent a couple hours with a 25ft hand rodder with no success. Actually got the thing stuck in the drain and couldn't get it out. Called courtesy the next morning and Josh and Augie came out in just a couple of hours. They used the big rodder through the roof vent to clear the main line and also cut out most all of the caught wire that was stuck in there. Only a bit remained in the pipes right at the tub drain but everything drained great once they were done. Whole job took about an hour and price was very reasonable. Josh also gave a rough estimate on some other work I asked about and tips on how to keep the main line clear.

I've used Bob twice now. The second time was to install new toilets I had delivered to my house. I trusted Bob to do the installation instead of the contractor provided by the home improvement store where I purchased the toilets. Bob showed up on time and did a great job.
Below is my original review, which for some reason has not been posted by Yelp.
Bob is hands down my best find on Yelp. I recently requested quotes for what turned out to be a drain leak behind the drywall in my garage (I thought it was a concrete slab leak). Bob came by for a free estimate, assessed the situation, and told me in very clear terms what the problem was. Bob's estimate was extremely fair (I had received another estimate before Bob).
Bob did the job on time and for the price he quoted.
The great thing about Bob is that he's a licensed plumber and general contractor so he's super knowledgeable and will give you his expert assessment from these two perspectives. Because he is a general contractor, I had him look at other possible repairs around the house. Stuff that I thought might be important to fix he recommended to leave alone.
In short, I really appreciated Bob's honesty, his straightforward assessment regarding repairs, and his very fair pricing. I highly recommend Bob and would give him more than 5 stars if I could.

Matt arrived on time, fixed a troublesome air-gap, was very polite, and his charge was very reasonable. I certainly would recommend Seashore Plumbing.

Titus arrived on time, was clean and dressed professionally, not dirty. Even his shoes were clean so I didn't mind him walking into my house. After a quick estimate, he began his work and finished quickly. After double checking his work, he cleaned up and I was happy. I'd use them again and would recommend

SJ Plumbing has done several jobs for us, including repairing leaky sinks and toilets, clearing clogged drain lines, replacement of bath and shower fixtures, and outdoor irrigation. We have used them on an emergency leak situation and were very happy with the quick action!
They are always prompt and professional, and get the work done at a reasonable price without a lot of surprises when the final bill is done.
Highly recommended!

We had a difficult dilemma with a previous homeowner making home alterations without city permits. Smart & Handy was hired to work help us return laundry hookups and relocate a water heater. From the first point of contact, Smart & Handy was prompt and laid out a realistic plan of action and cost involved, especially given the degree of unknowns involved from previous renovations. The final results were very polished and precise. Their work ethic and diligence was also a reflection of their professionalism. We passed final city inspection without a hitch ! Thank you, Smart & Handy.

Tim Herbertz is professional, pleasant to a fault, very organized, and exhibited exacting standards throughout the work done at our home.
I/we could not be happier with his work ethic, and compliment OC Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning for a job well done.

Review is long over due! My wife and I just recently moved into our new home and needed to get our bath/shower combo fixed since it was leaking. The cartridge needed to get replaced and Carlos and Juan helped RIGHT AWAY. They took their time out of their busy schedule to squeeze us on in a short notice and we couldn't be more grateful! Before they came over, he even went above and beyond and told me that it was an fix that I could have done myself instead of charging me. After a couple of hours, I couldn't chip the remaining cartridge so the came over in less than 20 mins from a job they had nearby. In less than an hour, they chipped the remaining cartridge, installed the new shower handle and went on their way. It could have taken shorter but the cartridge has not been replaced in YEARS. Thanks guys for being so real, fast and efficient. You've attained a returning customer for my plumbing needs in the future.

I started smelling this nasty sewer-like smell around the house and wanted a plumber out quickly so I got referred to rooter champion by a friend of mine . I decided to give them a call a man named Steven then shows up to my house, goes underneath the house and came across a huge leak in my main sewer. He then proceeded to give us a great price to change it. Once done he showed me this large crack on the side of the pipe where all the sewage was coming out and I couldn't be any happier with his service, thank you for taking care of my problem and more so then anything taking care of that horrific/horrid smell, Thank you roofer champion. I highly recommend them.

The quick and fast, Ixtapa Construction is the best general contracting company I've had the pleasure to work with (I've worked with 3-4 over the last decade). I completely gutted a 4 bedroom, 2..5 bath, 2100 sq. ft. home we just purchased and Jay did it while handling timing pressure from my then 7-month-pregnant wife who was hesitant to even make the purchase, knowing the work it needed.
As the founder/President, Jay is a consummate professional (a rarity in this business), and a true craftsman. His Partner, Alex is also great to work with and keeps things organized and coordinated with all the moving pieces of a construction project. Most important to me is that Jay and his team takes pride and ownership in their work. Jay treated our construction project as if it was his own home. He takes the time to make sure things are done right, the first time. Moving forward, I'll always reach out to Jay first about my remodeling and home improvement needs before going out and interviewing/reviewing other contractors. Through my remodel, I'm fortunate enough to connect with someone who I've gotten to know and trust as my advisor for home remodeling and repair-related needs.
The longer version: We closed on our home in January of this year (2019). We knew we were going to completely gut and remodel the home. We didn't change the exterior (no additions) but all things interior of the home were to be redone. From all new water pipes to new electrical, new HVAC system, new 2.5 bathrooms and a new kitchen from the ground up including new flooring throughout.
This is our 2nd remodel of homes we are to live in, so it wasn't a completely new venture for us. The first remodel, I worked directly with a few tradesmen and oversaw/project managed the job myself. But this time around, with a newborn on the way and a 3 year old, I didn't have the time so we had to find a good GC that was fair, reasonable and accountable to work with. In total, we met about a dozen General Contractors (local via Yelp, Craigslist, HomeAdvisors, Houzz, you name it).
I first spoke with Alex by phone and then met with Jay at the house. Needless to say, he was on-time and professional. When we were ready to make a decision, we narrowed it down to Ixtapa and another construction company. I regretfully admit, we went with the other company first. The reason was that the initial bid was missing a few elements. I wish I had just went back and asked him to revise before making a decision. Truthfully, in my conversations with Jay, I had a good feeling. But we all make mistakes... The other company turned out to be a massive disaster (if you want more info, please reach out to me).
My initial timeline was the beginning of March for the home to be move-in ready. We started work on January 6th. By February 6th the house was all gutted, but nothing was being put back together. We started to get concerned as we were about 22 days out from when the house needed to be move-in ready. I got the typical contractor runaround and because I needed to be swift, I terminated the agreement. I had very low tolerance for a bad situation to get worse.
But since our initial meeting last December (2018) Jay stayed in touch with me and he actually followed with me to see how things were going.
I reached back out to Jay (at this point, under immense timing pressure) to see if he can help. He was able to get me on the calendar and get started in a week.
Ever since then, the house came together. And while I made changes to things and added things, he was very accommodating and did what he could to help us out.
Again, incredibly grateful to have met Jay and work with Ixtapa Construction. No job is too small for them, he's an honest craftsman that has a construction-framing background (so he can build a house from scratch if needed!) If he can't do something, he'll tell you. But overall, I'm incredibly happy with his service, professionalism and is the type of person you feel comfortable having around your family (which is also very important). And his team of craftsmen are great to work with too.
His pricing is fair, but through my own experience, you get what you pay for in this industry. Often times, you get low bids so they can come in and start the work, only to not finish or worse, cause damages. Talk to Alex/Jay, they'll work with you.
I will update this review with photos shortly.

We called Chris for a backed up kitchen sink and he and his partner did a great job resolving it. It was backed up pretty deep in the plumbing which happens occasionally. Chris was prompt, professional, polite, and neat. A honest plumber who gets the job done! Thank you Chris!
Will call you next time we need a plumber. Highly recommended. A++++

What can I say except these guys are AWESOME! They are prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and so reasonable! The Smell Good plumbers came out and wanted an outrageous amount for a laundry line pipe replacement. I got an online quote from these guys. They came out (same day!), and solved our problem for less than their original quote! They were less than half the cost of the other guys! We will be using them in the future and I highly recommend them!

I contacted Prostar on Thanksgiving(11/28/2019) at 12:10ish. Dalton picked up and took the call mid Thanksgiving afternoon.(didn't expect that). We have an issue and needed it fixed before family came over. He took time away from family to patiently explain what he thought the issue would be and the cost to fix it. He said he couldn't get someone out today given I was further away but would get back to me to let me know when he could get someone out the next day. He did say if I was closer he could do it. Keep in mind...it's thanksgiving afternoon and they would've been there for me. I texted him my address he texted back to offer a 10:00-11:00 appt. the the next day. I'm giving him 5 stars, because he did everything he could to help me on a day that I didn't expect much. I ended up finding one person who could come out the day of, which I needed desperately. However, I have to assume that the 10 out of 10 service, response and patience I received must translate into what he would've done to help me further had I not been able to find the one person available on this holiday. I really appreciate the help he gave me and clearly had it been any other day or me closer...I could've gotten further with them. Will hopefully have another review for these guys down the road when something comes up. Great service, responsive and extremely helpful.
