Tim was completely dedicated to fixing our overflow AC problem.  He even called a colleague and the two of them solved our problem.  We have used OC Plumbing before for a water heater.  Everyone there is top quality, from the person who answers the phone to the specialists in plumbing, heating and air conditioning.  We recommend them highly!

Had these guys install a system 4 years ago. They were recommended by a family member and they did a good job. We've had them back once a year for an inspection before each summer.
Crystal did a good job answering my questions on the phone and she arranged for Jonathan and Juan to come by. They communicated ahead of time that they where on the way and showed up as scheduled. Did there work and did not try and upsell me or suggest unnecessary repairs. Thanks for your honesty Jonathan and Juan.
And I saved some money with a coupon that was mailed to me.

Air Conditioner just stopped blowing cold air. Called them and they were able to have someone come out when I was free. I didn't have to wait long and they called me when a technician was on the way.
Tyler arrived and was super. He knew exactly what the issue was just by listening to it. He was able to swap out the part fairly quickly and the air conditioning unit is running great again. Tyler had some great suggestions and answered all my questions. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended and now have an honest and friendly AC company that i can rely on. Thanks

The Ptrap undercut bathroom sink was leaking so I picked up a replacement and installed it myself. The new one kept leaking at the connection so I finally called the experts. They came out the same day and told me the Ptrap was the wrong type for our set up. Praise God they had the right one and installed it for us! Joel did a great job and didn't even joke about DIYers! Glad I made the call!

Our toilet flooded and we didn't want to have some serious water damage. I called Orange County Plumbing and they gave me an appointment right away. The technician was attentive, helpful and worked fast to repair the damage. 100% recommended.

The first technician who came was not good at diagnostics. A more experienced technician was finally able to diagnose the problem as a circuit board issue that needed replacement along with the contactor in the condensing unit. The repair cost estimate was initially more expensive than the competition but the company matched the competitor quote. Overall it was a satisfactory experience.

Loved that they showed up in a mask, due to the COVID outbreak I found that to be professional and appreciated. I have to say, Matt was AMAZING!!! The services he provided for my plumbing emergency was excellent! He was not only prompt to respond, but he arrived very quickly and got the job done with no sketchy up charges. Highly PROFESSIONAL & KNOWLEDGEABLE! I'll definitely be using his services in the future and I'll be recommending him to friends and relatives in the OC area. THANK YOU MATT!!! I had a sink that sunk and no plumber that I called wanted to deal with a sunken sink which is basically an undermount sink that sank. Matt and Tim came out, removed everything, placed sink where it is suppose to be, reinforced everything, replaced piping and left the area cleaner then before there visit. Matt and Tim were very knowledgeable, not to mention so polite and friendly. Thank you For great work.

Extremely shady company. They quote you a different price on the phone but charge you more upfront When they come to your home. they proposed a 3k fix that wasn't necessary. I found a different plumber who did the job for like $200. Stay away. NOT TRUSTWORTHY

Thanks OC Plumbing and HVAC!! My heater started blowing cold air and it was literally 57 degrees in the house at night. They came out quickly and on time. Tyler and Joel were very helpful, knowledgeable, and really nice. The heater was really old and needed to be replaced. Tony and his partner came back the next day and installed a new one. Tyler came for the final inspection and everything was great. My Nest thermostat ended up not working and Tyler took the time to call Nest and tell the guy what it was doing and helped get me a replacement part. He even installed the new part and everything works way better than before. They were very professional and went out of their way to help. I can't thank them enough for the great customer service. I will definitely use them again for future problems.

I used them the first time for an A/C issue and things were fine. Called them a couple days later for a plumbing issue and things went downhill from there. The plumber never showed up on the day he was schedule. I called the company and was told he was still stuck at his first call and I will be next. I called back at 4PM and was told the plumber was rerouted to another job and I was left a voicemail informing me that. There was no voicemail. I decided to give them another shot. I rescheduled for the next day between 1-3 PM. Again no show, until 5:30PM I received a call saying they are at my building and ready to work. I had already contacted another plumber to come out.

The receptionist at Orange County Plumbing was not helpful. She seemed a little annoyed at me and I was not rude or disrespectful.

Tustin Plumbing came the same day and fixed my problem fast, the technician knew exactly what to do I was impressed.  I will recommend them to all my friends and family.

I had a tech come out to fix a gas line that SCG said was leaking but it wasn't.  Guy didn't charge me and I'm grateful.  Next time I have any plumbing, heating, or ac issue, guess who I'm gonna call - Orange County Plumbing Heating and AC, that's who!

Eli and Jonas where out the other day while it was raining. I had a mainline stoppage and they said the only way to fix the issue was to go on the roof. They amazed me due to it raining, they fixed my toilets in about 10 minutes im definitely gonna have to use them again.

We had this company do some repairs on our air conditioner.  It is a fairly new unit in the last 5 years but it has never really worked very well.  Tyler Plueger came out to do an estimate on it.  He was very honest with us and told us, we didn't need a new one we just needed to have some repairs done because the previous people did not install it correctly.  He also told us we needed to get the house insulated before it would be even be worth the money to get the air conditioner worked on.  He even offered up a company that could do the insulation.  We took his advice and got all the work done just in time for the heat wave this summer.  We are very please with the work and recommend the company to others.  Tyler was very professional and honest!

Omg!! This team saved my day.  I just had a major surgery and the day before I was going home our AC went out. I was panicked with the heat and humidity we are experiencing and Don, Kyle and Lupe treated us like family and made sure we were taken care of so I could go home and be comfortable.  
Tyler came to our house and it was late and he took his time and was thorough as though he was on a call at 8 am and checked everything to be sure our HVAC would purr all summer.

We were out of town when our daughter called that our airconditioner was not working.  We called for service and Tyler came out and found our coils were filthy. We did not know we should have been cleaning them. He gave us same day service and was able to get it up and running better than before. We intend to use this company again!

Thanks OC Plumbing and HVAC!  The Gas Co would not re-light a wall heater in the original, older part of the house as the connector was no longer in compliance.  It was REALLY hard to find someone to do this.  Most HVAC companies do not work on wall heaters anymore.  There were a couple up in the LA area (with horrible reviews), that said they also serviced Orange County; plus Orange County Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning -- but we were outside their regular service area.  They came down to Laguna Beach anyway and handled it!  So relieved, so grateful.  Thank you Tony.

Hello, I called to get a quote for water heater replacement (water heater was still under the warranty). I got a quote for $1680.00. If I would go elsewhere with brand new water heater: average labor cost for install would be $250-300 plus $775 for the unit. New heater would cost me not more then $1100. In my case, all I should be quoted for are: labor (same $250-300) and a swap fee approx.$200... Total cost should not exceed $550 and this place quoted me $1680.... this is crazy ... please ... PLEASE call other places for a quotes... UPDATE: general manager Kyle  saw this review and called to give me a new estimate and apologize. I already went with someone else, but it was nice to receive the call!!!! Based on that changed this review from 1 to 3 stars!!!

Very unreliable, manager does not follow through with what he says. Very unhappy with their service. I have made a dozen phone calls for a simple repair and got nothing but a bunch of broken promises, my time was wasted and eventually had to hire another company.

Outstanding service! Joel replaced valves and installed a vanity. He worked with skill, care, and precision. Great communication throughout. Fair prices for excellent, professional service. We look forward to hiring Joel again as we continue remodeling our home. Highly recommend!

This is the first time I used this c/o for plumbing services they are certified insured and lice-send my technician Joel was excellent, very professional very pleasant he was courteous efficient and quick very knowledgable he fixed the bathroom toilet/sinks he was very clean he tidy up the work area and was thoughtful with his tools he was careful not to scratch my granite flooring inside the bathroom he use a large thick pad for the flooring to protect it from scratching.  His English was fluent and easy to understand I am impress with this c/o's tech.  he was perfect I have used other companies in the past and most of them were bad,  not this company I stand by them they have trustworthy technicians thats a plus in my book I already booked them again for another project of repair for next week. I am happy I have found a honest company.

Edit: Lowered from 5 to 4 stars. Ran the dishwasher after Joel left and it didn't clean the dishes. Looked under the sink and found the water line was not reconnected. I had to connect it myself.

We had shower and tub leaks so we contacted our property manager and they called these plumbers and they showed up 2 hours before they were supposed to! Johnathon and Joel were the technicians who came and fixed it all very great service took their time and wasn't rushing the work! Took longer than expected but no more issues! Thank you

Jair showed up to our house after we told him not to come over the phone.  Once here, he lied and said my wife had told him to come, and tried to extort us for the $180 visit fee.  When I explained that we had declined his offer over the phone, he refused to leave my property and verbally threatened me.

We had two great plumbers here ..Jeff and Adrian.  They spent hours trying to fix a complicated issue and stayed with it until they did. They were courteous and untiring in their efforts to get a drain issue resolved so we did not have water all over the floor.  I would recommend this company to anyone.

I called OC Plumbing in the evening and left message with answering service. I was expecting a call the next morning but received a call immediately from Jonathon. I told him my hot water heater wasn't working and he gave me some suggestions on possible issues. He called the next morning and arrived on time. He replaced the thermocouple and the fee was very reasonable. I will keep his number handy in case I need future service and highly recommend them.

I contacted OC Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning because an apartment I own has a wall furnace that needed a new part.  It was difficult to find someone who worked on this type of furnaces.  I called around few places that could fix it but had to wait a few days or week for them to come out.  Then I called OCPHAC.. They sent someone right away (Jonathon).  The technician was able to fix it that day and all is working well.  I was skeptical about OCPHAC because of the one bad Yelp review so I called the gas company to double check on the work / replacement parts.  The Gas Company told me yes the work was done well, to code using good materials.  Yes, I would use them again....

Tried to charge $310 to clean an a/c unit because he had to go get the filters.  Dropped the bill to $260 when I refused.  Ridiculous system they have set up.

Honest straight forward service.  Matt the technician handled our issue with our water heater quickly and took time to explain the process.  He made some recommendations for the future, but in no way tried to push just to make a sale.   While writing up the invoice he said he would wait a bit just to make sure our problem was for sure solved.  Overall great experience, felt 100% confident that he was completely honest and trustworthy.  Will definitely use this company again for future needs and would even request Matt if he is available.

They were one of the companies used by my home repair insurance company so I didn't have a lot of choice, but I'm glad that they were the team who did the work.  They came out to repair a leaking gas line and I was very happy with their knowledge and work.  They were professional and very efficient.

I would go back to this company for any plumbing, heating or air-conditioning matters again and again! We needed a tune-up on our 20 year old air conditioner which we used to get through the San Diego Gas and Electric special program every other year. They discontinued that program so I called OC Plumbing because they were the ones that did our last tune-up. First of all, Rachel in the office was very sweet and helpful and sent out Tim to take care of and hopefully squeeze another couple years out of our AC unit. He was very patient, answered all my questions, worked in the attic and outside for a generous amount of time and even gave me a coupon on my bill without my asking. Very fair price for all the work he did. He did a great job and my AC is running much colder and efficient! THANK YOU!

I have insurance for my lateral sewer line. It has saved me a lot of money, but I don't pick who gets sent to do the work. This time it was Orange County PH&AC. They called a few minutes after I got off the phone with the insurance company, and Ricardo showed up within 30 minutes. He and his young assistant Eli quickly extracted an unholy mess of roots out of my line. At 75, I have had good experiences with plumbers and bad ones. Ricardo was one of the best. From start to finish, it was an excellent experience, and now I can take a shower. Thanks, guys.

I was very pleased with my service call with Orange County Plumbing Heating and AIR. The response time was quick and the problem was fixed even quicker! Tim & Blake were great! Came out on a Sunday to check on the job and was fixed by Monday! They replaced the main gas line. We were anticipating a two day job, and these guys had it done in one day. On time & with a great attitude. We appreciate their hard work.

Matt was super professional and soft spoken. He did an excellent job in installing the water filtration and softener in my garage. It took him couple of hours. He also fixed bath tub faucet.

We have used Orange County Heating and plumbing 3 times for needs in our home regarding major and minor water issues and we have found this business to be both professional and friendly. We appreciate the way we have been treated.  We are calling them out again for a new issue. We have recommended the business to friends and neighbors who had the same results.

We had 8 separate leaks in our master bedroom/shower over the past 4 years.  None of the previous plumbers had been able to solve our problem. Erick and his crew were able to repipe our downstairs with PEX giving us both a good deal and peace of mind.  Their crew got the work done quickly and did a great job patching walls and cleaning up.   I have never worked with a Plumber I would give a higher recommendation to.

My ac unit went down, Tyler P. came out the very next day he was spot on time. Tyler worked diligently and replaced my capacitor. Tyler went on to clean up my entire system it's a 14 year old unit and blows colder than when I first got it. The cost was very reasonable, I will be exclusively be using Tyler for all of my AC needs and recommend Tyler to my neighbors thanks again!

Joel worked efficiently to repair our pipe, and even helped us move things back into place before leaving.  The price was more reasonable than the other quote we got and the estimate was free, which were important to us.  This company seems like a very good choice.

Last night I realized that I no longer had hot water!  Looked up Orange County Plumbing on Google, liked what I read, spoke with Joel at their office!  Next morning, Joel and his assistant, Angel  were at my house promptly, saw the mess caused by my leaky water heater, immediately tackled the issue ( working almost sideways, due to my packed garage!  Replaced my water heater reconnected everything, cleaned up ( including part of my existing mess) answered all of my questions, showed me everything!!'  BEST SERVICE I've had in a LONG TIME!  This company is Top Notch!!!  I'm definitely recommending them to all if my friends AND clients!

Called to get a quote on some upgrades, to our property, that we thought were necessary.  Our tech, Matt, came out and inspected the system - reviewed the info with his team - and, told us that if we weren't, financially, ready the system would be fine while we budgeted for the repair. Wow!!! This is, at least, a $10,000 job and no one in the company tried to pressure me?!?! We are saving the money and will call them back in a few months to schedule the job.  Thank you, Matt and the whole team at O.C. Plumbing - you've gained a customer for life!

As Swee G. stated below..I'm sure they're good workers here but the three that came down to my home ... Joel, Juan and Rick weren't. I unfortunately have been dealing with this company for a few months. Each guy that came down not only did they not fix our initial problem, but additional problems had surfaced. Joel created additional issues so Juan was sent to fix our initial request and fix Joel's mistakes. Juan didn't know what he was doing and didn't know how to fix our problem ..1st he blamed our HOA, then blamed our water heater to finally blaming the water dept. he vaped on the job, left and purchased items to replace without our knowledge or consent and trespassed on our neighbors property to use their hose to see if they had any running cold water. Rick dropped in on a Saturday and stated to us they no longer make..Volume and Temperature Control handles... straight up lie. He wanted to hurry and leave and said he'll be back during the week and he never did follow through.
Still, we are not satisfied and had to call another company to come tomorrow and fix our initial problem and the additional issues these guys created. I work in real estate and there are tons of companies I could've called upon but, I reached out to this company since they were close by. If I'm going to pay, at least let us pick what we want replaced and installed and they cracked our shower head.
I've also been dealing with Kyle, the manager, who claimed he would send men out to fix our issue to our satisfaction and claimed they stopped making  Volume and Temperature Control handles. Crazy. Kyle should come out and fix our issue since his guys didn't. I had to pay them over $1,000 for all this headache and run around..and nothing is fixed. If you want your request to be done right the first time...Please call another company and avoid this one. You'll also be saving yourself money, they charge too much.

Second time we've had them out for service on our home. This time it was for the installation of new toilets and removing the old ones. Jonathan and Juan did a great job. They got right to work and took out the old toilets and took them away so we didn't have to worry about them. I called at the end of the window to see if I had the time correct and they told me the crew was running a bit late, but was on their way. Both gentlemen wore masks while they were in our house and am looking forward for an A/C replacement quote from them. They came out here a few years ago to repair our AC as the fan went out. Thank you Jonathan and Juan! Definitely recommend their services!

They helped me unclog a stubborn drain at my restaurant. When I called to set up the appointment, the receptionist/dispatcher was super friendly and helpful - she even provided a rough estimate over the phone (very fairly priced). I was able to set up a same-day appointment, and the technician was there a few hours after I got off the call. The technician was very professional, and handled the job quickly, with minimal clean up.

Overall, a good experience dealing them - I'll definitely be using their services again, if needed.

Tony is a shady businessman. Called him to service my gas water heater and he tells me the whole thing probably needs to be replaced. Never mind that I just bought the place and the inspector said the water heater was fine. It just needed a new millivolt gas valve. Then he tells me it needs a new seal and that it's hard to find them because companies don't always make those. Really? He tells me it's gonna cost me $120 because I asked him to flush a toilet and see why the shower wasn't working. I told him that the stuff wasn't working. He shoulda given me an estimate. He woulda made a lot more if he was honest and provided me a proper estimate. Instead he just tries to charge me for not doing a damn thing when it easily coulda been a $2K job had he handled it properly. There's better out there. He's gonna suggest fixing a lot of things that don't necessarily need to be fixed.

Wow!  Great service!  Matt and Blake were professional and replaced the fill valves and flapper in my toilet at a great price.  What impressed me the most was they told me to ask for them the next time I call.  The more the same technician is familiar with your house, the better they can serve  you.  I will definitely use them again!

Took two days to get an appointment, then never showed up and never called to say technician would not be able to make the appointment or reschedule.Disappointing.

I needed to have my kitchen faucet replaced a few months ago.  I called several places but Orange County Plumbing had the best price.  They did a great job and didn't charge more than what they quoted (even though it took longer than planned).  When it came time a month ago to replace my HVAC unit, I contacted them again.  We are very pleased with the unit, the price, and the work.  I highly recommend them.

Called OCP in the morning as I had a small leak in the line coming into the house.  They arrived quickly and diagnosed the problem.  Trevor was very neat and did a good job creating as small a hole in the stucco as possible.  He did the job quickly and cleaned up everything.  If I need plumbing work again I'll give them a call.

I am very happy I contacted Orange County Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning to repair my AC Unit. My motor stopped working so I received a quote from another AC repair company that was $2,500 to repair or receive a brand new unit for $6,000+. I was concerned about the price and how expensive it was so I got a second opinion from OC Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning. They ordered the motor and installed it within the next day and the AC is working just fine for less than $1,000. I would highly recommend to give them a call and save money

We've been very pleased with Orange County Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning. They installed our furnace/air conditioning unit several years ago.  What I've been most impressed with is their responsiveness to calls.  When you have an air conditioning problem when it is hot, I know they are very busy yet they are extremely accountable and communicative and really seem dedicated to getting your air conditioning up and running.  Super impressed that they have 24 hour contact information. We had an issue with the air conditioning unit not turning on and we needed someone out quick.  I called the service late Monday night and someone called me back first thing in the morning.  That alone was impressive as I usually would have to call a company back. They were unable to come out that day yet scheduled me for the next day.  They seem to really care, as I got a several calls late afternoon that same day to say they were able to fit us in.  We have an elderly person at home and needed the air conditioning to work fast.  Jonathan came out and identified the problem super quick.  He was very patient, and explained the issue and had the air turned back on right away.  I requested some suggestions to prevent the issue in the future and Jonathan made some good recommendations.  I trusted Jonathan because I could see that he was very experienced and knowledgeable. He and Juan came out the very next day to complete the preventative maintenance.  I was very pleased with both of their work and customer service. The office and staff is super good at calling and communicating, checking that you're home, fitting you in when needed in a hurry.  The staff that comes to your home are considerate and COVID safe.  I was very pleased with the company and for these reasons I will call them again.

Jonathan came out within an hour of our call (@ 9:30p!) had AC up & running within minutes. Cordial, wore a mask. Great service & saving our butts with 81 degrees in here! Thank you

Matt from OC plumbing heating & air conditioning did an A + job at out house today. He promptly and efficiently fixed the issues with our sink and toilet and was able diagnose, explain and fix the problem. We would highly recommend OC Plumbing and even more specifically Matt.

Matt and the crew at Orange County Plumbing were amazing.  They were reliable, honest, and hardworking.  They took the time to fully explain the plumbing situation we were facing, provided solutions and options for repair.  We have done small home development in our own business and we knew their proposal and pricing was fair and reasonable.  Further, Orange County Plumbing and crew were easy and fun to work with even during a plumbing emergency.  I would recommend Orange County Plumbing to friends and family.  They will be our go-to company should we need a plumber in the future.

I had the most bizarre exchange with a technician from this place.  My tankless water heater was not producing hot water and I needed someone to come out ASAP - not easy considering it was a Saturday.  A technician from OC Plumbing returned my call and said he wouldn't be able to get any parts for my water heater until Monday but said he could come out and try to reset the water heater for $180.  I told him that was not necessary because I had already reset the system and it was still not working.  

A while later a technician, Jair, showed up at the door and said he was here for the appt.  I had set an appointment with another company for Sunday so when Jair showed up I thought he might be from that other company and I just lucked out from a last minute cancellation because Jair commented I just called you.  Once Jair got into the garage he told my husband he was the guy who quoted me $180 for the reset.  My husband told Jair we declined the reset offer but Jair insisted I told him to come out and demanded $180.  Jair kept straight up lying to our face insisting I told him to come by ... to do what I had already done.  He then refused to leave the garage demanding that we pay $180.  He finally left muttering this is how you want to play it - but only after my husband had to raise his voice to tell him to leave after Jair ignored our repeated requests for him to go.  Honestly, if I had been home by myself it would have been scary because he was very clearly trying to be intimidating and refusing to leave demanding money for doing nothing.  

Still can't believe how Jair conducted himself.  The kicker is, the company basically brushed the whole thing off when we called to report Jair's behavior.  

Final covid safety related note - even though I told Jair twice, I'll open the garage - our water heater is in there and tried closing the front door, Jair literally just walked into the house and kept moving further inward like he wanted to walk through the house to get to the garage.  In doing so he not only got within two feet of me but he also didn't have shoe covers on despite that being a standard covid safety precaution.
