Manny was wonderful and understanding and I really appreciate his help with my plumbing issue.

MC Construction did a great job of replacing my old roof with a new energy efficient plywood & tile.  They added a few more vents and also replaced some weathered fascia boards. I want to thank Josh K. for being flexible & working with me to stay in my budget!  I would hire them again!  Possible new bathrooms in the future!

MVP sent Erik Tejada out to look at my garbage disposal which was backed up. He was able to fix it and give recommendations for future improvements . MVP was really responsive. They responded to my online request in minutes and then Erik was at my house like 2 hours later.
He was also able to fix a clog in my bathroom tub and troubleshoot an issue with my toilet which I'll be having my landlord fixes. Erik and MVP are my new go to for my future plumbing needs. I would highly recommend them to others.

It is unfortunate that I am leaving this review considering my experience with the service rep on the phone was great.  She was very friendly and professional.  However I was informed that it would cost me $99 just for a dispatch fee to have a plumber come out and 'diagnose' my faucet issue.  I am very aware of what the actual issue is here as I have been receiving 'free' estimates (including dispatch) from competitors.  It's just unfortunate you'd be willing to lose out on business based on this $99 charge.  I understand it is a time commitment to send someone out to properly assess the issue before work, but I am local (brea) and know what the issue is already.  Why do I need to be charged to confirm that?

Judging by their photos, and testimonials, I'm sure they do fine work. They are just way too expensive for me.

I called for a free estimate. Plumber (Cory) came 2 days later (on a Friday: 8/20/21) at the time stated. Ok, so far so good. Was there a little under 1 minute looking at problem and left. After I called them on Monday at 45 minutes to closing time, asking for my estimate, they finally emailed it to me.

Now I am not a licensed plumber, but do possess rudimentary common sense regarding home repairs and degrees of complexity. I also realize running a business with assorted overheads, costs money. And of course, the business does need to make a profit. I fully understand all this.

When I saw the quote of $850 for about maximum 1 hours work, keeping in mind the above, I was shocked.

Now if your reading this, all work involved exposed piping in my back yard. If they were to go under the house, to remove additional piping ( I have a raised foundation) it would have been $1,550.00. A little more involved but not necessary in this case.

One part of the exposed pipe was rusted and leaking. The work entailed cutting off old pipe, and install PVC piping and elbows, shortening the areas the water was flowing to since the old pipes could just be cut off and removed. See the before and after photos. I even dug up the areas involved (actually my good neighbor did).

So I ask you (and I hope other plumbers are reading this), is $850 a reasonable amount to charge for 1 hour or less work? What would you have charged?  Needless to say, I feel I was being absolutely overcharged.

Incidentally, the after pictures of the completed work, was done by my neighbor. It took $30.46 in parts and a generous cash payment for his time and effort by a very grateful neighbor - me! Thank you Dan!

I have never called these folks before but feel I was being taken advantage of. Seriously, an estimated $800 for an hours worth of labor, excluding say $50 for the parts? Seems excessive and will avoid them. Look forward to your honest comments, especially from the owner. Thank you. Just being honest.

No one wants to be without hot water! After researching Yelp, Nexdoor and Google I found 5-star ratings for Bob with AA Services Plumbing. Bob and I spoke on the phone and he was at the in house approx. 1 hour. After inspecting the old water heater, it was determined a new one was needed. Bob explained the process of installation and had recommendations for different brands/types of water heaters.  I'm the type to ask questions, Bob was always pleasant when answering.
These are the qualities I appreciate in Bob:
- Did not try and oversell
- Never complained about the awkward position of the water heater (in a small closet outside)
- Calm & reassuring
- Professional
- Knowledgeable
- Covid Compliant
- Bob new what had to be done and went above and beyond!

Matt SAVED THE DAY TODAY (on a Sunday no less!)!! We had a mainline clog that backed up our three tubs and shower. My wife found Seashore on Yelp and called them at 10:30am and Matt (the owner) showed up promptly at 12.30pm (his scheduled time).  He snaked the line several times until the drain was cleared. His price was very fair for this emergency, Sunday service and he also gave us a competitive quote for adding another clean-out. Seashore's service is punctual, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, reasonably priced. Matt certainly earned our business and I highly recommend him for your plumbing needs.

John is amazing! We called him today after reading all the five star Yelp reviews and he did not disappoint at all. He came within half hour and quickly examined the issue and gave his honest opinion. Many other plumbers have provided us with quotes for the work to be done while exaggerating the issue at hand. John was honest and made us fully understand the problem and made recommendations that were impartial. Really appreciate it John!

I rarely write reviews on Yelp, but Frank deserves a glowing review.  We had a Mother's Day sink baking up emergency, and he was here working in less than 30 minutes! Yes, I said 30 minutes on a Mother's Day!  He's a small business owner, is very professional and stands behind his work.  He's earned my trust and not only my business, but I'll be letting friends, family and neighbors know that he's a stand up guy that does quality work.  Thank you Frank!

I drilled into the wall and hit the water pipe at midnight and water was spraying all over the garage. I shut off the main. I called Carlos at midnight, and he came first thing in the morning. He fixed it asap. I highly recommend SoCal Plumbing Service.

When sewage started backing up into our downstairs shower, the toilet, the washing machine waste water drain and the pool drain pipe, I knew we had a major blockage in the main line.  
After reading the Yelp reviews I first called C & C Plumbing and left a text message for the owner.  Within minutes the owner texted me back and apologized because he was out of town.  He told me to contact his brother, Earl, from Prostar Plumbing.  I texted Earl who also responded immediately and arrived at my home in less than 2 hours.  

After hearing the description of the problems, he immediately knew what to do.  Within minutes he retrieved his largest power snake from his truck and started snaking the main line from the garage and within ten minutes he had over 40 feet of snake in the pipe with no change in the blockage.  After 85 feet of snake was inserted  in the pipe, the blockage was cleared and our plumbing was back to normal.  

Earl did not try to bilk me by first charging a large fee to use a camera to look for the cause of the blockage. He fixed the problem in a half an hour and told me if the problem does returns within 30 days he will come back out and use to camera to determine the cause and fix it again. He taught me how to safely clean up when something like this happens in the future and charged me a very reasonable amount for a weekend emergency house call.  

I will take my business to him for any of my plumbing needs in the future without having to worry about being taken advantage of.

Did a good Job installing RO System. Quoted the lowest price and arrived on time and explained me all the stages of the water purification.

Ilai was awesome! He got to my house early and knocked out everything super quick. He was clean with his work and left the house cleaner than when he got there.  He didn't try to oversell me on anything and was super honest with what was needed.

My shower & toilet was clogged & these guys came out to get the job done within 1 hour.
They put the camera down from my roof & clear the line for much less than other quotes.

Kodi is great to work with.  This will be my go to plumbing need for future work.

Chris from FHL has completed many jobs both big and small for us at our home over the years, each with an honest, upfront assessment of our issue and pricing has been consistently fair and competitive.  His attention to detail, cleanliness of the work site and communication are all excellent! Chris's positive attitude, love of his job and helping people are a joy to be around!

We got a clog in our bathtub (due to hair). We tried to fix it ourselves with DrainO (one liter did nothing) and those hooked-snake things you can buy at Lowe's (that also didn't work). So I called Crandall's to make an appointment, figuring to schedule an appointment later in the week and, to my surprise, had a serviceman on my doorstep an hour later. He was quick and friendly, sticking a rotating snake machine down the drain and unclogging it in a couple of minutes.

The charge was $90 (that seems pricey for such a routine and simple fix, but I'm not sure if that's routine these days), but to have the problem fixed so quickly was great. Like I said, the serviceman was friendly, but at the end, he started talking about using astrology to understand people in your life better, which (as a former astronomy lab instructor) I wanted no part of.

Overall, though, I would recommend Crandall's. The most important quality in a service like this is honesty and effectiveness and they were both.

I was very happy with my experience with Rooter Hero. The service technician, Daniel Sliger, arrived at a very short notice, and was very professional. He answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable with my decision to call them. Nick Willis, the supervisor, worked with me and I got a very reasonable price for all the work that I needed done on the main line plumbing problems.  They fixed the problem as fast as possible and are very professional and polite.  I highly recommend them!
