MC Construction did a great job of replacing my old roof with a new energy efficient plywood & tile.  They added a few more vents and also replaced some weathered fascia boards. I want to thank Josh K. for being flexible & working with me to stay in my budget!  I would hire them again!  Possible new bathrooms in the future!

Seth showed up for our morning service appointment within the time window i was given. He gave me a description of the maintenance he was performing and the timeframe involved. Seth was very friendly and explained some of the issues he found with my unit and gave me several options on how to solve them. My dog's shed a lot and he recommended a higher MERV rated filter to catch more of the dust and dander that clogged the filter. Also gave me other upgrade options to consider. I would highly recommend Service Champions to anyone looking for excellent service for their A/C -Furnace needs.

The owner came along with his brother and did a cd of our plumbing!  We had been told by another company that we needed major work done to replace root problem!  After he reviewed his pictures of our plumbing he instead suggested we have the roots cut with their machine and said this was all we needed!  He saved us thousands of dollars and so far it's been 2 months and no more plumbing problems in our shower!  Both the owner and his brother were very pleasant and thank God we found them online!  We will not use anyone else!

Today  I met Bryan and what a find.  He installed sconces in 2 bathrooms cleared my bathroom sink and hung a mirror.  His attention to quality work and detail puts him far above all the rest,  he was efficient, on time, and easy to work with.  I would recommend him to anybody!

Bob was amazing, he came out within a few hours, he went above and beyond to help me. He walked through the whole house to make sure I didn't have any leaks. I appreciated his knowledge about my water heater and pressure to the house. Her was very efficent with proposal and contacting me in case I had questions. Wonderful service!

If you want a competent, honest plumber you can't get better than Capistrano Plumbing. This family business goes way back to when San Juan was a quaint little town. These small businesses, (including DeNault's etc.) were able to stay around for so long because their word actually meant something. This business is a treasure for their community, but you also get a great job for a good price.

Had a great experience with Seashore. Arrived on time for the sinks unclogged that we needed, was clean and was a reasonable price. Could not ask for more.

Was very happy with Titus our plumber! Was prompt friendly and informative about the work that needed to be done on some old piping that had been neglected for to long. Had anxiety after told and showed what the problems were but after work was done everything was up and running looking good and Titus was kind enough to clean up the work. Now able to sleep a lot better! Thx Titus! P.s. I thought I got great deal for work done. Hope to see you next time we need help!

I first had an encounter with SJ plumbing two years ago. During escrow Tim came over to do a plumbing assessment for me and was able to provide honest feedback on the condition of the plumbing system. Two years later today, the original 15y/o water heater tank finally gave up. I was able to get a hold of John and he sent over Tim and Ernesto. They did an amazing job taking out and installing the new system. They laid out tarp and made sure to clean up after they were done. As much as I like working with them, I do hope I won't need them any time soon. But if Ido, I will definitely give SJ Plumbing a call for all of my plumbing needs.

We wanted to upgrade our closet from wood panel to drywall. We had a family friend help do it but it turned out real bad. So after calling a couple of other companies and giving us outrageously high quotes for a closet, we called Smart and Handy. Their quote was completely acceptable compared to the other guys. Dave and his daughter were completely professional. You could tell they knew what they were talking about and I felt confident in them before they started working on our closet. Dave made sure to explain everything to us and asked us about out closet doors so he could build the closet frame opening according to closet door we chose. He even hid our electrical cables that were hanging making the closet look uglier and messier. He also suggested to add a new outlet behind out television, in the new wall, for our television. So happy we did because we only had one outlet for our tv, cable box, ps4, and phone chargers. He even upgraded our old outlet from 2 prongs to 3 prongs. Im so happy with how everything came out. The walls came out real smooth, no bumps or anything. It looks perfect. I highly recommend Smart and Handy to anyone that needs work done right the first time.

Highly recommend Frank for your water heater services! Our water heater broke Monday night. I sent out a msg to a few different plumbers in the area. Frank came the next day, checked out the issue & gave us a quote. After doing some shopping around & comparing quotes, he was the guy we decided to go with. Needless to say, by Wednesday afternoon I was able to take a hot shower! Definitely will be using his services in the future.

Can definitely validate that these guys are a 5 star business. Responded to my message in less than 15 minutes had a specialist out within the hour. We needed a garbage disposal and a new kitchen faucet they were able to provide both parts had them delivered and installed with no downtime at all. I messaged them at 9:30am and the work was done before noon. My go to company for all things plumbing from here on out.

Our downstairs bathroom started to get mold on the ceiling.  To make a long story short, the upstairs bathroom shower pan was leaking.

After the mold remediation team had finished and seemed to narrow down the problem to either a drain issue or shower pan issue for the upstairs bathroom, my wife and I contacted approximately 10 general contractors and shower installation companies using various sources (including Yelp, Google Reviews, word of mouth recommendations, internet searches, etc) to provide their recommendations/proposals for our shower and bathroom.

During the processing of obtaining contractor quotes, we were not comfortable with most of the contractors for various reasons including high sales pitch tactics, lack of detailed explanation relating to waterproofing techniques that will be used during construction, extremely high prices, etc.  We eventually narrowed down the list of contractors to two (including Ixtapa).  However, after further comparison of both companies, we ended up choosing Ixtapa partially due to their quote being more inclusive of everything we wanted done (drywall repair, painting, among other items), their flexibility in recommendations that considered our budget, and most importantly, Ixtapa's clear explanation of their waterproofing techniques in which the utmost care would be taken during their multilayered waterproofing method to minimize any chances of the new tile shower leaking in the future.  Other companies were vague in mentioning only hot mopping as an explanation.  We just felt Ixtapa was the complete package when considering fair price, knowledge, customer reviews showing high quality craftsmanship, communication, etc.  Alex was a very good communicator and listener when we shared our concerns/ideas.  Alex was excellent at balancing our concerns/ideas with his expert advice/recommendations (this skill set Ixtapa apart from the rest of the other construction companies we talked to).

Jay, Alex's business partner, is the construction guru.  Jay is very personable and has high expectations of quality that meet not only his high expectations, but also the customer's.  Although Ixtapa has some workers in addition to Jay, Jay does the detailed design, measurements, and most of the detailed construction.

I liked how Alex made clear what materials Ixtapa provides (rough materials, etc) and explains in detail what materials the customer provides (tile, fixtures, etc).  Alex even provided us a shopping list of items to purchase, quantities of each item, etc.  This made it easier for us.  When it came to choosing a new vanity, Alex recommended a few places for us to look at vanity options.  We settled on a place and we were able to purchase the vanity with Ixtapa's contractor's discount to save some money.  When I was stressed about some issues with vanity options while my wife was out of town on business, Alex took time out of his busy schedule to meet me at the store to help me through my struggles.  With the assistance of my wife by phone, and Alex's help, we were able to make a decision that worked out very well (thank you Alex!).

Ixtapa showed flexibility when we requested changes to the scope of work related to the niche, additional recessed lights, installing the additional exhaust fans in our other bathrooms, among some other changes.  Ixtapa was able to provide a custom glass shower per our requested specifications of partially obscured (middle 50% obscured, the top 25% and bottom 25% clear glass).

Jay and his crew did excellent work.  As other reviewers have stated, Jay is a master craftsman.  Jay and his Ixtapa crew handled everything from the demo, plumbing (installation of new shower drain with weep holes, etc), electrical (exhaust fan, led lights, gfci, etc), shower framing, multilayered waterproofing of shower, tile installation/grouting (shower, bathroom floor), installation of vanity & recessed medicine cabinet/mirror, installation of fixtures, drywall/trim/texture/paint, etc.  The only items/services subcontracted out by Ixtapa to different companies were the hot mopping of shower pan and the manufacturing/installation of the custom glass shower door.

A couple of small/minor issues after completion of the bathroom project were taken care of by Ixtapa.  The end result is fabulous!

We very much look forward to working with Ixtapa in the future with another project or potentially more than one project.

They absolutely deserve the 5 star rating. The owner came to examine my problem after his first team couldn't find a leak. Turns out there wasn't a leak just poor drainage under my pavers.   Prostar will be the only plumbing company I ever use.

Giovanni came out to fix my leaking pedestal sink. I thought for sure we were going to have to replace it but it was only a few parts that needed to be replaced. I had Giovanni look at some of shower fixtures and he made some recommendations to fix those in the future. Also, had him check my water pressure which a previous plumbing company wanted to charge me $750 for a brand new regulator. Giovanni did a simple adjustment on existing regulator and my water pressure is so much better than before. Thank you for honest work! I will definitely have him back for future work!

Gilbert was our technician and he went over and beyond to provide us with a great service . Highly recommend him and this company too .

Kody and crew were awesome. Very responsive and on time. Explained the problem very well and took care of it in a timely manner. Would definitely reach back out for any future plumbing needs!

Chris is not an honest businessman. He charged me an exorbitant amount of  money for sub par work. I would think twice before hiring him. I also found him to be extremely arrogant and patronizing.

Requested a quote for service with Rooter pro plumbing. I got a response within 15 mins explaining in detail what I needed. The owner scheduled me in early the next morning and solved my issue for me in my kitchen. The owner was respectful and gave me a good price . Great service  thank you rooter pro plumbing.

My drain kitchen drain got clogged and I tried to snake it clear myself but my snake got stuck. I yanked it out and the cutter broke off way down towards the sewer. Rooter Hero happened to be across the street doing some work and were able to come over and give me a hand.

It turned out to be the roots from my curb tree that had wrapped around it and broke the pipe. Rooter Hero was able to run a completely new ABS pipe under my house without having to tear up the floor in my kitchen, which I just remodeled. They also were able to put a protective sleeve in the cast iron pipe that ran down to the sewer so the tree can't ruin it again.
