Best Septic Tank Repair in Indianapolis IN
BUYER BEWARE!! We called this company to assist with a leak in our shower. We had used them before and felt they were fair in their pricing. This time however, they gave an estimate of costs at nearly $2000 to repair a cracked valve. We were surprised at how high the estimate was. Feeling uneasy about the cost, my husband did a little research. He discovered that the valve had a free lifetime replacement warranty. My husband ordered the part from Delta and they shipped the valve to us free of charge. It cost us a little under $100 to repair the whole issue, including replacing the drywall we had to cut out to access the pipes. Needless to say, we felt they were less than honest in their estimate. Additionally, when the tech was in our home, he was commenting about our need to upgrade our water softener and HVAC systems for efficiency purposes, which are still running and in good repair.
After providing us the estimate, the tech never returned to pick up the tools he left at our home. He also didn't clean up the mess he created when he made additional cuts into our drywall when evaluating the cause of the leak. We cannot recommend this plumbing company. If I could give them zero stars, I absolutely would.

After fixing my first issue, I called Mike for help with high water pressure. Mike jr came out, worked his magic and put a pressure value in where the water comes into the house. He was quick, efficient and easy to work with. This family is amazing and I highly recommend Maxwell & Sons for your plumbing needs.

Following several failed attempts to find someone-- anyone-- who would not only call us back, but actually put us on their calendar to come out and replace our water heater for a reasonable price, I began scouring the internet and seeking input from others. Weilhammer Plumbing was highly recommended by a coworker, and they had excellent reviews on the internet. (And I liked how they were responsive to the reviews-- even the bad ones. . . It made me think that they stand behind their work and take their reputation very seriously).
Upon calling Weilhammer Plumbing, I got a good vibe. The person I spoke with was very pleasant, didn't treat me like some stupid woman who didn't know what she was talking about, and seemed very knowledgeable and competent. I also liked that they were willing to quote me a price over the phone (as opposed to the other companies, who wanted to come out before they'd give us an estimate, even though I just wanted to replace the unit with one that was pretty much exactly the same, and provided them with all the specs and features of the old one. . .). The person I spoke with on the phone asked me to take some pictures of the area with the water heater and text them to him, so he could get an idea of what he'd be dealing with. I thought it was an efficient way of dealing with it, saving me from having to take time off work to get a quote, and saving him a trip across town. I was also impressed by the phone conversation because it seemed like Weilhammer Plumbing wanted to do things the right way, rather than just do the bare minimum, collect the money, and be done with it. The person I spoke with explained to me that they felt it would be best to add a drain pan underneath the new water heater, which they felt would help minimize damage to the floor in the event of a future leak. This was included in the price of the quote.
I needed a 38 gallon short electric water heater, because of space issues in the utility closet in which it was to be installed. I knew I wanted another one just like the old one, which had lasted thirteen years and was still going strong (save for an obnoxious sulphur smell at the start of showers). They listened to me, and quoted me out on the brand I wanted, with the warranty and features I wanted, instead of trying to sell me something else. Despite that the unit was not actually leaking, and was still working (mostly) just fine, Weilhammer still made us a priority, and came out not even two days later to do the install. They came at the time they said they would, and not one, but two guys came out with two trucks. One did the actual install, and the other helped with everything else (such as ensuring the water was shut off at the outside level, making sure the electrical breakers were turned off, bringing the installer the correct fittings, removing the old unit and draining it outside, etc). This was a time saver, resulting in the whole haul-away and install taking less than two hours, and leaving my afternoon free to go get an oil change and run some errands I'd have otherwise had to run over the weekend.
From what I can tell, the work appears to be good quality. I also liked that they went the extra mile and added a heavy line of caulk where the concrete and laminate floors meet, to re-direct water away from the laminate floors in the event the unit were to leak at some point in the future.
I am glad we found this company, and will consider them first for all future plumbing needs.

The worker showed up to install my new faucet.
He completely removed my current faucet,
tried to install the new one, only to advise me finally
that is was the wrong size. Charged me $270
for nothing.

I needed a new toilet installed and a friend recommended Sordahl plumbing. The man who came out was knowledgeable and was able to get everything switched out quickly. It's working great! I'm having them come back next week to install some cut-off valves under the sinks. I'd recommend for efficient and good service.

I have hired them for 2 major jobs and he is always fair priced and works me in quickly. Top quality work and communicated very well ! Will always call him first for plumbing needs !

We had to have our water shut off valves under our kitchen sink replaced. They were able to come out the next day and took about an hour to fix the issue. Avery was very nice and explained everything well to us. It looks brand new where they replaced everything. He was even kind to our dog that wanted to get up close and personal. I would definitely use them again if we need plumbing issues fixed!

Outstanding Plumber! We are new to Brownsburg and a coworker recommended Cornwell's. Their pricing is very fair, scheduling was easy, and the work was top notch!
We needed an expansion tank installed on our hot water heater and the first plumber we called, quoted us an absurd amount. We called Cornwell's; the price was good and what we expected. The technician that came out was helpful and knowledgeable. He told us some things we should consider doing in the future but did not try to oversell us on anything.
I wish I found Cornwell's the first day we moved to Brownsburg. They will be the only plumber we call from now on.

We have had LD Smith out twice in the past week. First we had a gas leak. Mark found it was on the stove. Mark attempted to repair it, but ultimately It was unable to be repaired, even by the GE technician, the oven was a total loss. Mark made our home safe and got the gas shut off. Today we had Phil out for an emergency sump pump. We just re-worked our entire sump system outside, and when the drainage specialists were here they discovered the battery back up pump was failing. With potential rain this weekend we were concerned a power outage we could lose the entire basement, so Phil came out this weekend and installed the new pump and gave advice for the future on how to upgrade the second back up pump.

Fast service did a great job at a mainline clog they were in and out in 10 minutes. Didn't try to sell me on anything but told me about other services they offered.

We used Bloomington heating and cooling 5 years ago for new furnace and added mini splits to our 3rd floor That did have heating or cooling to it.
Peterman took over for them.
My mini splits stopped working. I called and thought wow, the monthly membership sounds great and everything sounds awesome on friendlines!!
We scheduled my appointment for them to come look at the minis.
Scott came out, he was an employee of Bloomington heating and cooling and was one of the guys who installed the minis. He was great As always.
He came back and said the computer component was bad, it was covered under my original warranty.
And said he estimates a week for the part and I told him I wouldn't hold him to it because left happens then he left. I did not complain about how long the part took to come in.
No one ever called me.
But 2 days later I get an email saying my return appointment was 3 weeks later..
I called and told them no I would not be home, and no one had even asked if I would be.
So we rescheduled for the next day, then they didn't show up, I called, and they said no they scheduled it for the day after. Again I wouldn't be in the home.
I was told they couldn't come and they couldn't set up an appointment.
Then she said a group would do a review of the bad customer service and then call me.
So at that point, a month later and no appointment was even set up..
2 days later Scott called me and said he was on his way over! I had no clue what was going on. Again I was not home and I told him he couldnt come.
The office called me the next morning to schedule an appointment, yet still no word on any review!
Scott came out the next day and spent 4 hours installing a computer component to the outside unit. Only to find something else wrong. He wasn't able to fix the unit and the quote to fix it is now $1700!
My total for the current day was $221.00 I only had checks on me. I wrote my check and let Scott know I wouldn't be able to go through with the repair due to finances.
Unfortunately when the company cashed my check it was returned.
--This part is my fault. I take full responsibility for owing the 221.00 and needing to pay it. --
I didn't know the money wasn't in the account due to my account being hacked. I had forgotten about needing to pay it. I got a couple of voicemails but was busy and hadn't called back.
(also why should I call them back when they didn't care to call me when I needed them to!?-immature yes but still...)
Today Dave left me a voicemail that stated THEY WERE PUTTING A LIEN on my home for the $221 since it wasn't paid.
1. I still never heard a response about any reviews on the horrible customer service! But they sure wanted the money!
2. Peterman heating and cooling needs $221 so badly they want to threaten to put a lien on my home because it was an overdue balance! Really!
How dare you think you're a good bussiness! You're customer service is pathetic! And you only care about your bottom line!
I called him back and paid the balance. Then informed him that I wanted to cancel that so called really cool monthly membership (they were taking it from my card on file but couldn't take the 221. From that card???) That we weren't going to use them because of their horrible customer service, and the fact the my system still isn't fixed and they quoted it at $1700 to fix it. And that no one in the company ever cared to even apologize for the way we treated over appointments!
His response..
Ok I will get that canceled!
Nothing else!! He didn't ask about the situation, and didn't offer an apology!
I then asked for confirmation that it was canceled and he said I'd get a confirmation in an email...and that was it. it's been an hour and no email...
Petermans is only out for the bottom line!
They DO NOT care about the customer or their service! They over charge, rip people off with the monthly plan, which is supposed to get you discounts on repair but I wasn't getting a discount for the $1700 quote, and they do not treat people decent!

Thank you so, so much for working on my water heater on a Sunday, and doing such a great job, and not overcharging in my book. I am so very happy with the service Mike gave me, and would definitely recommend this service to my local friends.

I made an appointment online through email and did not have to call anyone. I needed a water pipe replaced behind the water heater. Travis showed up and was straight forward with the very high price. I paid it because I had previously dealt with wildcatters who were not licensed and I wanted a professional who would stand behind their work. I had a $50 off coupon which he gladly honored. They are careful not to quote a price until they show up. Travis was highly skilled and completed the pipe replacement in under 10 minutes with no fuss. It was $262.00 for installing a new 1/2 inch ball valve behind the water heater on the cold intake pipe. I paid way too much. There is expensive and then there is HOLY COW EXPENSIVE! I would give them a higher rating but their prices are very steep. He was on time and professional but this company just charges way too much.
As Bill Murray said...No Job is too big! No fee is too big!
If you want top quality work and you can afford the high prices, then give them a call by all means. They stand behind their work but have your checkbook ready!

I was referred to Gurney Bush from a plumber I trust. I have basement drains not draining/backing up. I called the 24/7 number and received a call back from a tech. I explained the issue and he tried a bunch of ways to say that he probably couldn't fix it, but could try if I wanted and kept quote what I assume he thought were large sums of money. It's an emergency drain call, I know it will be expensive. We went round and round with him never really being helpful. And then, as I got frustrated, he called me Sweetie. Nope. Nope. No. I let him know that no one gets to call my Sweetie and earn my business.

Sadly my home warranty company assigned my case to them and my issue is still not resolved (since May). I was given different information by various technicians and office staff. I was promised by the office manager that jetting my line would solve the flooding problem I was having (I was told the week before when it was scoped that I didn't need to jet it) and when the techs came out they jetted it and then told me there wasn't much in there to jet. So, why did I just pay to jet it? I inquired what the next step would be if there was still flooding and was met with a shrug from the technician. My basement is still flooding and I have followed up multiple times for a month attempting to get a refund and come to a resolution but no one has bothered to return my calls.
