Best Toilet Installation in Honolulu HI

Replaced an old food disposal with and slightly lower horsepower model at the Michael's recommendation and am thoroughly happy with the installation, but more so with the quietness of the new disposal. I can hardly hear it.

BEWARE!! SHAKA PLUMBING scammed us out of $250. They came out to give us an estimate and (OVER)charged us $250 to change the knob in our shower. The repair was scheduled for the next morning. The next morning came SHAKA Plumbing came out and told us they cannot do the repair because they would have to make to many modifications to complete it. So we decided to try to fix it ourselves, we went out and bought the part for $11 and my mom installed it under a minute. We are currently still waiting for our refund from them but every time we call no one answers. We also contacted the CONTRACTORS OF HAWAII and they told us that SHAKA Plumbing isn't even licensed any more, their license is EXPIRED! And, the funny thing is they emailed my mom the invoice and told her we hope you're satisfied with our service. Really, are you kidding me? Their service is just HORRIBLE!! Think twice before you call them for an so called FREE estimate.

Had my kitchen drain problem on Thursday.   Gave my favorite plumber's a call.  They were booked for the month.  So there's a extra charge because I needed done right away.  It was my kitchen sink!  So, okay, let's get it done.

Now I get a notice of the appointment.  The day of the service, I got a text with the photo and work history of the tech.  It is also attach a tracking application to see where the tech is at and how long before they get there.  That way you can keep an eye out for the tech to let them know where to park and let them in.  NICE.

I called Ben when I needed the bottom of my undersink cabinet in the kitchen replaced because it had warped from water damage.  I've had a few estimates done and Ben's price was pretty reasonable.  I decided to go with Ben because he had a pretty darn good review here on yelp, plus he also happened to be available to do it the same day.  He did a really nice job on replacing the particle board bottom of the undersink cabinet--he even cut out the pipe areas really nicely and fitted them back and caulked all the way around.  I was really happy when it was done because it looked like it was brand new (5 stars there)!  One problem:  Upon my final inspection of the job, I noticed two of the wood screws came protruding out the other side of the kitchen island!  When I pointed it out to Ben, he felt bad about it because he had thought there would be molding on the other side.  So, he spent Sunday going to Home Depot to find a matching maple molding, stain it the right shade to match my island and on Monday, Ben shows up with the molding and did a quick install/caulk.  He was apologetic of the situation and offered no additional cost for the molding and the labor.  

I took away a star because, overall, the job turned out a bit longer than I had anticipated . However, because Ben showed me that he will do the customer right in the end (plus, my kitchen island looks even better than it did before with the additional molding!), I maintain my 4-star rating for BLS Carpentry.

Excellent service. He returned phone call immediately and came the next day. He was very professional and kept us updated when he left to get parts. The fee was reasonable & we will call him again in the future if the need arises.

Braddah Jaren was prompt and replied in minutes after I sent my shower faucet issue. He is very knowledgeable and truly a craftsman in his trade. He showed up promptly for a quote and offered to do it that day. After he finished it looked magnificent and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants quality work done the first time.

My tankless water heater stpped making hot water. So i went on YELP  and found JBC PLUMBING LLC. With a 5 star rating. No negative reviews.
I put out a quote but didnt get no response so i decided to call..happy i did.
JBC PLUMBING LLC does NOT charge any upfront fees, service call fees, estimate fee, any kind of fees. NONE!!
Josh came out the next day for my FREE job check. We set up an appt the next day to remove and install new tankless water heater (which i purchased from Home Depot). Josh gave me a fair price  upfront for the job.(no hidden fees)
Ryan and his partner showed up very personable. Job was done less than an hour.
The only negative would be that plumbers cannot do the electrical hookup according to state code.
I did get a referral for a licensed electrician.
Highly recommended local company.

I live in a building almost as old as me. Like me, parts of my unit are wearing out and malfunctioning. That was the story with the tub faucet. The original equipment was about 60 years old and the hot water went from a drip to a constant stream, with the heat creating stains and mold.

I asked the office who did a lot of work at our complex and the said Pono at MG Plumbing. It didn't take too long to get an appointment. The shower head was a mess too, so I asked Pono about a new shower head with a hose, which would make it easier for me. He said I could buy one, or he would. I asked him to get one for me. I have a mobility disability, so it's hard for me to shop in person. I looked at many options online, but ultimately I figured he would know best how to proceed.

He was on time and selected a moderately priced Kohler shower head. It attaches via a magnet, making it easier for me to detach and reattach. That's helpful for me not just because of the disability but also because I'm so short.

He finished the work quickly and even put up the new plastic liner and just-washed fabric curtain. Just taking down the nasty dirty moldy plastic liner and the fabric curtain which desperately needing washing was quite a struggle for me, so I was very grateful when he did the work for me when I asked.

He also prepared me for what would eventually come after this, once this fix wore out. (Let's just say I'd better start saving lots of money.)

Once the hot water stream was fixed, I was able to scrub the tub and bleach the mold away in bits and pieces over a couple of weeks, as my body allowed. Now the tub looks pretty darned good. Hopefully I look that good, too, as we both continue to age.

On the recommendation of a friend (condo manager), I called MARTIN DIXON of VIRTUES PLUMBING for help with a leaky kitchen faucet.  I did NOT expect to receive that kind of determined problem-solving and true 'service' during our initial phone call to help diagnose where the leak was coming from.  Also, I didn't know what kind of Kohler faucet I had, but I took a photo, sent it to him, and he did the research to find out my model.  He took the TIME to contact Kohler, even before an appointment was made, to obtain a replacement hose for me.  He asked me to send him VIDEO of where the leak was occurring, which I did.  After ALL that time to research & diagnose the problem, we made an appointment for the Repair!

NOBODY offers that kind of professional, and truly dedicated service to help their client!  NOBODY!  I'm still in shock at the amazing experience I had with MARTIN DIXON and VIRTUES PLUMBING.  

When the repairmen (CHASE IMAI & DAYTON) showed up to do the actual repair, they were quick, clean, thorough, professional and provided an Invoice with photos and descriptions of what they replaced!  AH-MAZING!  That's all I can say, AH-MAZING!

Today (Saturday) I called a few local plumbing places to get our toilet fixed at our apartment.  All other places didn't answer the phone but Quality Plumbing did.  They told me they would arrive at my home in 45 minutes which was a relief to me since I was leaving to go to the beach within the next few hours and I wanted to problem resolved as soon as possible. Tony came by and fixed our toilet in 15 minutes and even fixed the chain for our toilet so we don't have to hold it down for it to flush (I live with a few other girls and we know nothing about toilets), so that was exciting for us. They charge $90 an hour so thats what we paid and we're happy to have it fixed so promptly since we're having guests over tonight.

I finally made a decision to have a new shower installed in my condo.  I was referred to Shane from coworker of mine. My decisions were made easily via texting and internet. Thank you Jolene.

Butchie and Joel worked on the actual breakdown and installation of the shower. They did a neat and professional job. I was so impressed with the finished product.
Ironically, after the job was finished. I had a plumbing issue with the unit above me . 535 plumbing performed the repair to pipe above me.

Awesome service.  Ed was out within 90 minutes to fix a gushing fountain of a leak, made all the coordination with tenants easy and made the repair quickly and at a very reasonable cost.  Very much appreciate his quick and reliable work

I called hone & business remodel for my house total renovation and the owner of the business came to help me.  His name is alex,  he was very helpful and prompt in getting me set up with an engineer for drawing require to get permit.  The engineer was an in house and the price giving to me was very affordable compare to other contractor that I have came to estimate.  The estimated price for the construction was very reasonable and had more allowances then other.  I would recommend this company to any one, to have there house constructed.  They even answer the phone on weekend.

The contractor they sent, Kristian, was able to view our pix of the problem and give us options before he arrived, and even got the replacement faucet we wanted from a link we texted to him.

It made the difference between limping through the holidays with a taped-up feeder line and a worry-free new faucet.

Got a decent quote from Jay.  Said he could be out between 7:30-8:00pm.  Great!  Asked for pics of my pipes, which I sent, then never heard from him again.  No, I can't make it tonight.  No Can I reschedule?  Just silence.  I even tried calling and he wouldn't answer the phone.  I could've spent that time finding a more reliable plumber.
