These guys rock! Showed up early an knocked out two jobs in one hour!

I began using their services back in early 2000s when they were formally known as Alpha Omega Plumbing.  I never had a problem with them getting the job done or feeling overcharged when I needed work done for checking and replacing hosing and fixtures for my bathroom and kitchen sinks, or laundry appliances.  I used their services several times when I lived in a condo since 2003 and then upon my move to a townhouse in 2012.

In August 2019, I had a leak occur from my upstairs bathroom causing my ceiling of my downstairs bathroom to bubble and sag.  I was on a limited time frame as I was to leave on a trip in 10 days and needed my family to have peace of mind while I was gone.  I called a few plumbing companies to get estimates, however, I either did not get in contact with someone directly, or was told that there was a cost to the assessment, which would go toward the repairs if so needed. I hesitantly scheduled with them for their soonest availability, which was two days later.  Shaka Plumbing (Niel) responded to my message quite quickly, stated no charge for assessment, and could come that afternoon.

Chris arrived promptly.  He was friendly, efficient about the assessment, and seemed honest in his recommendations and suggestions. He took the time to explain the general and common issues of the waste and overflow piping and gaskets that may have caused my leaks and bubbling, and the repair options.  He was patient with my many questions, was very accommodating to my schedule; and best of all,  able to come the next day at my convenience to do the job.  Chris worked efficiently, and was also able to coordinate a freelancer to close up the work area on the bathroom ceiling right after he was done with the pipes.  He finished the job within the time frame he estimated with no fuss.  He was polite and friendly, and even showed me the basis of the project and the guts of all the plumbing (and everything else that was living in the drain...YUCK!!) that he took out.

In addition, Chris was willing to help me purchase supplies and come back on another day that my schedule would allow, to help me with caulking the tub to further minimize water leaking to the ceiling.

We had an unfortunate incident happen at one of our rental properties but didn't know if there was a active leak in the walls.  Pipe Masters (Arvin) throughout went through the process of what's going to take place and gave me pricing up front.  Once the tech went out and did his diagnostic (no leak found), we were given pictures to show there's no leak and even found a recommendation to replace a control valve.  Arvin called a day later to follow up on everything.  I highly recommend Pipe Masters! Not only are they local owned, they are knowledgeable and quick to respond.

BLS Carpentry put my children's playset together. They were quick to respond and professional. They even worked over the 4th of July weekend! It took two days to complete the playset, but it was well worth it. They also measured extra wood to place at the bottom of the playset to make sure it was even and stable. My girls couldn't wait to use it and were on the swing before BLS could clean up their tools!

I was quoted a price far below what I thought I would pay. However we do appreciate all the work done and paid more.

I would recommend them to anyone needing work around the house and I plan to use them again if I need to get something done.

recently needed to repair/replace a leaky shower faucet. turned out the unit was so old and hard water corroded, a total replacement was warranted. Jaren did an excellent job in a minimal amount of time. Highly Satisfied and I Highly Recommend!  reasonable pricing and very professional.

Called JBC Plumbing to come and check our bathroom because something was leaking and was becoming noticeable on my brother's ceiling. They were able to come the very next day and even arrived earlier than their estimated time. Mr. Joey was very kind and managed to find the problem and fixed it right away in less than an hour. He even recommended someone to fix the ceiling. Amazing experience overall. Will definitely call them again if we need any other assistance. Thanks so much!

I live in a building almost as old as me. Like me, parts of my unit are wearing out and malfunctioning. That was the story with the tub faucet. The original equipment was about 60 years old and the hot water went from a drip to a constant stream, with the heat creating stains and mold.

I asked the office who did a lot of work at our complex and the said Pono at MG Plumbing. It didn't take too long to get an appointment. The shower head was a mess too, so I asked Pono about a new shower head with a hose, which would make it easier for me. He said I could buy one, or he would. I asked him to get one for me. I have a mobility disability, so it's hard for me to shop in person. I looked at many options online, but ultimately I figured he would know best how to proceed.

He was on time and selected a moderately priced Kohler shower head. It attaches via a magnet, making it easier for me to detach and reattach. That's helpful for me not just because of the disability but also because I'm so short.

He finished the work quickly and even put up the new plastic liner and just-washed fabric curtain. Just taking down the nasty dirty moldy plastic liner and the fabric curtain which desperately needing washing was quite a struggle for me, so I was very grateful when he did the work for me when I asked.

He also prepared me for what would eventually come after this, once this fix wore out. (Let's just say I'd better start saving lots of money.)

Once the hot water stream was fixed, I was able to scrub the tub and bleach the mold away in bits and pieces over a couple of weeks, as my body allowed. Now the tub looks pretty darned good. Hopefully I look that good, too, as we both continue to age.

We had two issues that we needed help with: a faulty toilet water valve and a drain pipe leak that was damaging the walls and floor.

This team was fast to respond, properly fixed our toilet then located the source of the leak and repaired the drain pipe.  Reliable, responsive, clean job at a great price.

Called Accurate early morning for an emergency repair of a leak in my copper pipe. Although busy with numerous other jobs in West and Central Oahu, Clayton and his son was able to arrive in Kahaluu 4 hours after I had called. Nice guys and very skilled plumbers. Clayton explained what needed to be done as he worked and the cost which was so reasonable. The first option didn't work due to excessive corrosion of the pipe so Clayton replaced more pipe and installed a new bib. I was impressed how quickly they completed the job and would recommend his company to anyone looking for a truly professional plumber.

Johnny is the best....we've called him several times over the years and he's always been able to come the same day for our emergency repairs.  No one wants to ever have to call a plumber, but when you have to....call Johnny!  He's very thorough, respectful of your home (yes...plumbing is nasty but he keeps it clean), and he also gives advice on how to prevent the same problems from occurring again.  Thank you, Johnny, for always coming to our rescue!

Tony has been my go-to plumber for a couple of years. He is honest, hardworking, prompt, and an overall nice guy. I recommend him to everyone I know.

Had a little snafu with communication but when I texted the second time, Shane was right on it. Got back to me lightning quick and made an appointment to send his crew. They arrived on time and took care of my tub leak problem. They even graciously fixed another small minor problem with my kitchen faucet at no additional charge. (I gave them a small tip for doing that).

This was a small job but I was treated courteously and given a thorough explanation. The plumbers are experienced and didn't sugar-coat my problem telling me that my fixtures are old and old things, well, they tend to break. I like that they were able to assess my problem quickly. I own a couple other properties and will definitely keep 535 Plumbing's number handy.

I am so happy that I went with these guys to do my bathroom! I had 8 different companies come look at my bathroom and all of them were way too overpriced and quoted me 2 weeks to finish! Glad I decided on this company. Alex, the owner gave me the best price and said he could finish my bathroom in a few days. His workers were very professional and fast. They even cleaned up after the bathroom was done! I will be using them for sure for my next home renovation!

Got a decent quote from Jay.  Said he could be out between 7:30-8:00pm.  Great!  Asked for pics of my pipes, which I sent, then never heard from him again.  No, I can't make it tonight.  No Can I reschedule?  Just silence.  I even tried calling and he wouldn't answer the phone.  I could've spent that time finding a more reliable plumber.
