I clearly explained the problems over the phone. They very easily could have told me that those services are not covered over the phone. But instead they showed up just to waste my time and money tell me that the service I requested was not supported and then stuck their hand out asking for money.

The experience with this crew was great! Bernard and Josh answered all our questions, and walked us through the process without hesitation. They were knowledgeable and thorough. Thanks guys!

I live in a building almost as old as me. Like me, parts of my unit are wearing out and malfunctioning. That was the story with the tub faucet. The original equipment was about 60 years old and the hot water went from a drip to a constant stream, with the heat creating stains and mold.

I asked the office who did a lot of work at our complex and the said Pono at MG Plumbing. It didn't take too long to get an appointment. The shower head was a mess too, so I asked Pono about a new shower head with a hose, which would make it easier for me. He said I could buy one, or he would. I asked him to get one for me. I have a mobility disability, so it's hard for me to shop in person. I looked at many options online, but ultimately I figured he would know best how to proceed.

He was on time and selected a moderately priced Kohler shower head. It attaches via a magnet, making it easier for me to detach and reattach. That's helpful for me not just because of the disability but also because I'm so short.

He finished the work quickly and even put up the new plastic liner and just-washed fabric curtain. Just taking down the nasty dirty moldy plastic liner and the fabric curtain which desperately needing washing was quite a struggle for me, so I was very grateful when he did the work for me when I asked.

He also prepared me for what would eventually come after this, once this fix wore out. (Let's just say I'd better start saving lots of money.)

Once the hot water stream was fixed, I was able to scrub the tub and bleach the mold away in bits and pieces over a couple of weeks, as my body allowed. Now the tub looks pretty darned good. Hopefully I look that good, too, as we both continue to age.

Called Accurate early morning for an emergency repair of a leak in my copper pipe. Although busy with numerous other jobs in West and Central Oahu, Clayton and his son was able to arrive in Kahaluu 4 hours after I had called. Nice guys and very skilled plumbers. Clayton explained what needed to be done as he worked and the cost which was so reasonable. The first option didn't work due to excessive corrosion of the pipe so Clayton replaced more pipe and installed a new bib. I was impressed how quickly they completed the job and would recommend his company to anyone looking for a truly professional plumber.

This evening we had an emergency w leakage under the sink. Originally we called another plumber but no one could come till the next morning. Called J R Service and left a msg, Johnny promptly called back and came within 10 minutes. He did an excellent job fixing and changing parts-couldn't believe how fast and efficient and reasonable. I also spoke with Steve's plumbing. They tried to upsell me on their product and said I should go with the this plumber for the price he was at. I want to thank Jeffrey for going the extra mile to get our washing machine finally sitting level for the first time since we had it installed two months ago. On a previous plumbing job, the plumbers had left the machine sitting lopsided with the front end propped up on the 1-inch tile and the back end lower on the untiled floor.  This was causing the machine to rock and every load of laundry to get unbalanced during the spin cycle.  Jeffrey came by himself and promptly got the machine back on level ground. I thought that was all that needed to be done, but when my wife came in to look, she wasn't satisfied that it was completely level. Jeffrey patiently and methodically took his tools and sled back out, lifted the machine up, adjusted the front feet, and kept working at it until it was perfectly level side-to-side and front-to-back. He also saw some tension in the hoses that he didn't like, so he took the machine apart to make sure they were secure in the back. Since we had been without a washing machine for two weeks, a lot of laundry had piled up and as a result my wife has been doing load after load since last night. The machine is humming along and running quieter and more smoothly than at any time since we got it.

I also want to compliment the professionalism and skill of this company's plumbers, who have been doing a lot of work in our building lately.  I'm a director on my condo association's board, and we were getting reports from some units that their washing machines were not draining properly into the adjacent shower drain. The pipe in question was inside the individual units, so it was not a problem that the condo association could address directly. Instead, we sought proposals from several plumbing companies and asked them to tell us how they would fix the problem and how much they would charge. Full Service Plumbing came in with a fairly reasonable quote, and more importantly, seemed to have the best plan for fixing the problem (our building's drain pipes are complicated). The association paid for the first job, in the resident manager's unit, and confirmed that the work they did completely solved the problem. It did, so we recommended them to all of the other owners who were having the same problem. They've now done this work in a number of units in our building and every unit they've worked on has been completely satisfied with their excellent work and the professionalism of their plumbers and office staff.

A homeowner may be where I was. I hope, when they read this review, my experience and suggestions will prove useful.

I moved here from the mainland. Over 15+ years, I'd managed to avoid any major condo expenses. Then my electric water heater died, January, 2022. That put me in a vulnerable position, started a to-do list.

For each item the goals will be the same: I want the most bang for the buck, using quality parts, and getting quality service. Copied information from the old unit and shopped around for price, warranties were comparable. Ordered a replacement online. The local store was out of short length electric units. It became a supply chain issue, new unit shipped from Tennessee, many weeks later.

I didn't know anybody to remove the old unit and install a new one. Got price quotes from multiple sources. It was clear the service would cost more than the new unit. Some quotes indicated the providers were in business to help customers. Very high quotes reflected that these providers were in business to take advantage of vulnerable customers.

Asked around, referred to United Drain Techs. Josiah was the plumber, accompanied by an eager to learn, helpful apprentice. Josiah is experienced and efficient, he knows his stuff, and does fine work.

He drained the old water heater, capped off the connections so there would be no leaks, and properly disposed of it. He picked up the replacement unit on installation day. After 2 months of waiting, I had a reliable unit.

Josiah showed me what I needed to do for maintenance. The cost of services and parts wasn't cheap. The job was bigger than I thought and cost more than I hoped, but in the end you get what you pay for. Overall I did the best I could by calling United Drain Techs.

Great!  They showed up early, cleaned it out quick and didn't leave a mess!  Just what I hoped for!

Of course whenever theres a plumbing issue you can expect to be inconvenienced as you try to get the issue resolved. You can bet I was surprised when I called and spoke with Chelsea who not only was very personable but was easy to deal with. She patiently answered my questions and set up a work order that worked for my schedule. Not once did I feel getting the plumbers involved was going to be a hassle yet alone an inconvenience. When the day came for the job to be done the plumbers both Joe and Nathan arrived precisely when scheduled. They had wonderful attitudes and put me at ease when I showed a bit of embarrassment due to the plumbing issue. I was impressed with how efficient they worked getting the job done in a timely manner while providing a professional quality repair. I realize wear and tear is bound to happen to your home as the years go by. Got a decent quote from Jay.  Said he could be out between 7:30-8:00pm.  Great!  Asked for pics of my pipes, which I sent, then never heard from him again.  No, I can't make it tonight.  No Can I reschedule?  Just silence.  I even tried calling and he wouldn't answer the phone.  I could've spent that time finding a more reliable plumber.
