We live in an old home and had a major flood coming from our bathroom. I called several businesses and S & A was the only business to get back to me in a timely manner. They were fast to come out and give me an estimate. Sam and his team were amazing!  They worked hard, fast, and efficiently. The team is professional and friendly and did A++++ quality work.   I really appreciate that they were in contact the entire time, letting me know what was going on the with the work process. They also returned all my calls and answered any questions I had (which were a lot). S & A are also very reasonably priced, and there were no surprise charges! This is an outstanding company!  After having an emergency, suspecting a water leak in my home this morning before working hours, I left a message on their website and was immediately contacted upon their opening. The customer service rep took down my info and was able to give me a same-day emergency appointment.

The garbage disposal unit in my condo finally died, and I needed help. I found a unit and purchased it online at Home Depot. Ramon picked it up and installed it. He was on time, fast, but thorough. Very reasonable pricing, too.

Had a kitchen sink drain clog that was beyond cleaning the pipes under the sink and snaking the drain with a basic snake/auger.
I dealt with Chris who got me an appointment within a few hours. Nathan showed up on time and got our kitchen main drain unclogged. Great service, will use them again.

Rakeman was hired to run a camera down an old sewer line under house built in 1942 I had under contract to purchase in old Henderson.  The plumber with Rakeman was very knowledgeable, could easily determine where main sewer line was and the configuration of an addition including plumbing, probably built in the 70's.  The camera showed us the old cast iron 4 line under old, original house was cracked, had serious root growth inside and appeared to be collapsed.  That inexpensive inspection saved me many thousands of dollars of potential sewer main repair under house, including ripping up newly renovated floor to replace main line.

I have an ongoing issue with Sierra dating back since the purchase of my new home. When it was in warranty and beyond regarding a/c and heat. I just had a tune-up in March 2021 regarding heat circulation. Each time the technicians come out they say everything is fine when it's not.

Zach, the manager was kind and offered an evaluation upon my request behind another technician work. Which I mentioned in my last review. The a/c units were cleaned and a diagnostic was done. Again, I was told that everything was fine and that the motor blower was a little dusty.

I asked if I needed duct cleaning and was told no. Zach said to keep in contact to see if the issue would get better since this has been an ongoing since the beginning issue for awhile. The problem was temporarily fixed but now I'm having the same issue with air flow and circulation throughout the home.

I did research and am wondering if the air ducts are the right size for the home instead of the a/c units. Sierra stated that the units are correct according to guidelines for the home square footage. My neighbors are also having the same issues and not just me. So, something went wrong down the line in construction of these new homes. And I would like to know what it is? I'm not receiving a straight answer neither from Sierra of the homebuilder.

I called last Friday, 8/6/21, for someone to come out. And they want me to pay $89 for a visit. I don't think so, for what? Just to tell me everything is fine, when it's not!

Either there's a leak or blockage of some kind when the air ducts were installed. Or something is wrong with the motor blower? I was told that a/c units run off of freon to keep the home cool and maybe low. With all of my dealings with Sierra, they have never mentioned freon before.

I've been looking into having my ducts cleaned. There's benefits such as over time, fine dust, dirt, dander and allergens build up inside your HVAC system. When your A/C or furnace comes on, you and your loved ones, are breathing this unseen dust. Cleaning your system will produce clean healthy air inside your home or commercial building.  Besides breathing cleaner air, you will also save energy and have your AC system and furnace last longer with fewer breakdowns. Finally, reducing dirt and dust will help keep your home or building cleaner.

Both technicians in March of this year who visited my home said otherwise. And that it wasn't necessary although they saw that the motor blower was dusty. I guess Sierra main goal is for us not to use air duct cleaning services. because they will not be able to profit from a service that they do not provide. And dirty air vents will lead to the a/c and furnace units to breakdown. Causing the homeowner to purchase new ones which keeps Sierra in business.

Thanks, Sierra for your honesty and not sharing the benefits of having my ducts cleaned. You told me that the blower was slightly dusty and air duct cleaning wasn't necessary. But I'm constantly coughing and sneezing due to unseen dust being blown into the air that I breathe.

During the meantime Zach hasn't returned my phone calls regarding the matter. Eventhough, he asked me to follow-up with him if I continue to have issues.

Sierra is such a reputable company. Keep up the good work guys! Have a  rest of your day!

I had the hot water line break and called many companies for quotes. Yes they responded and one was lower. However, for Franklin Kea what made me go with him was his customer service. He was very patient and answered all my questions. It wasn't a call center it was his cell phone. He would answer right away or text me right away and being at work 12-14hours for me was very helpful.
My house was old and needed a pipe reroute and his explanation helped me to see he was being honest.
His guys were awesome and great work ethic. They never stopped on this huge project. In the end it came down to cost and Franklin was amazing and matched it. He did some other repairs he saw. TRULY TRULY BLESSED that I came upon his company on thumbtack and took a chance.

So if your thinking about a plumbing company I strongly recommend KEA plumbing and contractors.

I am so impressed with Alaskan Air; I highly recommend them. Last Friday evening around 8:00 pm I noticed my house feeling warmer than usual, only to discover that by 9:00 pm the air conditioner was not producing cold air, and the temperature outside was 106 degrees.  I called my usual AC technician and left him a message and also left text messages an hour later to no avail. By this time I'm near panic. I start texting everyone I could think of and finally at 10:00 pm my nephew texted back recommending Alaskan Air. I called the company immediately and was told a technician would call shortly. At 11:00 pm I shut the AC off so as not to burn out the compressor. (When your AC begins sending out warm air, you need to shut it off to avoid further damage to the unit; namely, burning out the compressor.)  

It's now 12:30 am and it's 91 degrees in the house. All kinds of fear scenarios were going on in my head--the repair will be expensive; they'll recommend I have to buy a new one because my unit is over 10 years old; if I do need a new one, how long will I have to wait; tomorrow will be 115 degrees; I hope the tech is honest...

Finally, the technician calls, introduces himself, says his name is Carlos, and apologizes for the delay.  He states he'll be here as soon as practicably possible as he has another call before me. I can well understand as it's still 100 degrees outside. I tell him it's 91 degrees in the house. He gives me an approximate time and he arrives 45 minutes earlier than the time stated. Carlos is a young man, very well mannered, and professional. He turned the AC unit on and immediately went outside to ascertain the situation. He returns about 25 minutes later and begins testing the vents. He explains the AC unit needed a new capacitor, he replaced the part and the air was back on beginning to already cool the house; and the bill was reasonable. I was sooooo impressed with his honesty, integrity, and his courtesies.

Problem solved, the AC was working again, and Carlos left to take another call in the middle of the night while it's still 100 degrees out here in the desert. Thank you, Alaskan Air. Your technician, Carlos, represents your company well. I will recommend your company to everyone I know as well as everyone in my subdivision . I'm also posting this review in our neighborhood app, Nextdoor. Thank you again!

Being a single mom, I am naturally nervous about not knowing if I am going to get ripped off by contractors.  First off, YOU CAN TRUST SUPERIOR PLUMBING!!!  Not only were they honest but they are very nice and understanding.   They understand when you can't afford the expenses and do their best to get the job done and meet your needs.  They are fast to responding.  Just seriously overall nice.  Not only is the my review to recommend them but they were recommended to me by three other people before I called them!   Good service like this, can be tough to find in the city.  I suggest you use them!

Wow! What an awesome company filled with honest, kind individuals.

Today, I needed their expertise to determine if I had water damage from my briefly leaking water heater. They came out and informed me that I really didn't have any damage and it would dry just fine. Why was this so important? See below.

On yesterday, a company (Emergency Restoration Experts) came to my house and tried to convince me that I had $4000-$5500 worth of damage. They even pulled out the little scope and walked around telling me it showed the water inside the walls. Basically, it was a scam. Their colorful scope happens to be something I used in the military. It doesn't show water in walls and it cannot show you water in walls. Had I let them do the work, they would've gouged my insurance company. Then, they attempted to help me by getting my insurance company on the phone to file the claim. I put an end to that.

Why isn't zero a choice! Purchased a water heater from Lowes and was told I'd have same day even early delivery, and installation. This outfit wanted 24-48 hours just to contact me to make an appointment for installation!! I had purchased the unit and installation from Lowes and was assured all the pieces were included. After hounding Lowes they told me they would be there between 4 and 6pm. Well they showed up barely at 6 and then told me there would be several up charges to bring my install up to code.  This would be my fourth water heater in my current dwelling, all have been inspected by the city etc. , they told me Lowes code was different from the City's.... lol. They were dishonest, rude and I basically got the impression that they didn't want to be working after 6pm. Shame on Lowes for having this subpar contractor. It reflects poorly on them as well!

I will again revise my review.  I was told I was going to review a well deserved refund.  I didn't. So just to be clear, here is what happened.

I asked if they had experience and carried parts for my brand shower. I was assured they were familiar with and carried the parts.  They weren't and didn't. It took 3 visits, I had to order the parts and in the end I was charged a grand total of a little over 300.00 TO REPLACE THE SHOWER HANDLES!  When I paid for the parts!   Yup.. Shower handles.  And I had to find the
directions for the plumber!  Plus I was told, when speaking to a manager, they did make 3 trips to Boulder City.  We'll because they didn't have the parts! And if you don't want to make the trip to BC then EXCLUDE IT FROM YOUR SERVICE AREA!!  don't punish the customer for where they live.  Too far?  Then state that in the ad.

Shop around.

We arrived home, and noticed a leak under the kitchen sink.  I called Butter on a referral from a friend and they were able to schedule service for the very next day.  Ura did a great job from Butter Plumbing.  Arrived earlier than scheduled, and fixed problem promptly.  Very pleased.  I have to add......I have had several servicemen, cable repair, even medical response visit my house, but this is the first time Hannah did not bark!  In fact she watched Ura and even wagged her tail.  Animals are very receptive in judgement.  You have a very special employee.

Their Tech could not speak english.  Their Tech smelled of smoke!  Their Tech used a small little hand crank snake to try and unblock my blockage which he could not do.  Should have used more professional equipment such as a large professional plumber snake.
