Best A/C Installation in Henderson NV

We live in an old home and had a major flood coming from our bathroom. I called several businesses and S & A was the only business to get back to me in a timely manner. They were fast to come out and give me an estimate. Sam and his team were amazing!  They worked hard, fast, and efficiently. The team is professional and friendly and did A++++ quality work.   I really appreciate that they were in contact the entire time, letting me know what was going on the with the work process. They also returned all my calls and answered any questions I had (which were a lot). S & A are also very reasonably priced, and there were no surprise charges! You dont have to use a huge company to get great results.   I highly recommend this business and they have all my future business!  Thanks Sam and Team!

Even though this company was sent by my Property Management, I have to say the employees of this company are Awesome.. They are friendly, helpful and considerate.  I had 2 different plumbers in from them and both were great. Very knowledgeable and made sure to leave everything cleaner before leaving.. I will use this company myself in the future.

We are happy with the service and was reliable and professional, did the job within the time frame and was very friendly .

Our bathtub was filling up and draining slow when the shower would run. Drain busters responded to my request for information within 24 hours which I was already impressed with. They came out the next day and even showed up a little earlier than the time frame I was given so even more impressive (take notes, cable guy). Nathan was very quick to unclog the drain for us. The water is now draining the way it should. He even cleaned up the tub when he was done and didn't leave a mess. The cost was extremely fair. Very pleased, thank you Nathan!

This review is a couple of years late. With all due respect to plumbers they're just not at the forefront of most people's minds, so I didn't recall my great interactions with Rakeman until I ran into a new plumbing problem (which I'll be calling them to resolve tomorrow).

My plumber at Rakeman was always Mike. He's a big guy who doesn't mind working his tail off to fix problems ... he's definitely not one of those guys who takes one peak and then whips out some crazy bill. This guy worked his rear end off trying to fix an issue our builder stuck us with. He couldn't, but no regular plumber on a truck could've: The builder didn't install a clean-out in our front yard, so Mike could have stayed all night trying to fix that and nothing would have happened.

His level of I'm GONNA FIX THIS was just out of this world in today's society. He was like a man possessed.

Because of that I call Rakeman everytime I have a plumbing problem.

PS - I took estimates for fixing the clean-out in the front yard. They ranged from $1200 to $25000. Rakeman was very close to the lower end of bids.

I reached out to get a quote for a new AC install and a lady called me from Sierra and she advised me that she will give my quote to a tech and they would be out later that day and that the tech would call to confirm, never heard from anyone. On Thursday I received a text from Sierra saying that their technician would be at my house on Friday and the tech would call me 30 mins from my house. Never heard from anyone so that means for 2 different days I waited at my house on Fridays and never heard back from this company!!! Not professional at all I would not recommend this place.

Dennis and Izzy are amazing guys, We totally appreciate their transparency doing their business. Besides doing a great job installing our toilets, they were easy to get along with and gives you some advise and pointers on why they do things and how to care for the stuffs to make sure it serves you well. If you need a plumbing services, dont hesitate to contact them.

Our water heater broke on a Saturday, and we called Vegas Plumbing to see when they could come out. Michael, one of their plumbers came out within 30 minutes.  He checked out the water heater and unfortunately it was time for a replacement.  He gave us multiple estimates and after making a decision, I was expecting to make another appointment to schedule the delivery and installation of the new water heater. Good news, Michael had one available and was able to install it that day. Overall the replacement took about 2 hours. Michael was very courteous and professional. Thank you Vegas Plumbing.

Had some issues with my plumbing.  Called Dan over at Nevada Drain and he really took care of me. Great guy, great service, great prices.  Highly recommend.

Our heating unit stopped working and the repair man(Jo Bob) diagnosed the problem to be a bad fan motor. He gave us a quote for a complete new heating unit at $6,930. or a fan motor replacement at $2,970. We were leaving for a trip so decided to wait to repair until we returned. My husband thought we should get a 2nd quote and called out a local company. We did not need a new fan motor. The problem was fixed for $125.00.  I have been a customer of Alaskan Heating and Air for years and have a service contract.  I will never call them again.

Gary and Tyson were awesome!  They went above and beyond to fix our issue were on time, honest and courteous!  I will be recommending them to everyone and I am happy to know that I do not have to look around for a good plumber if we ever have another issue:)

Unprofessional Lowes & Pain the the Pipe Plumbing (PPP) - appropriate name.  I recently decided to get a quote to install a water softener. Lowes charged me $35. Later I an appointment was set up between 12 to 2PM Thursday with PPP).  On Thursday I did not hear from PPP so I called Lowes.  Lowes quickly gave me PPP phone number to  check on their schedule.  I called PPP and they informed me that the person to provide the quote would be at my house between 12:30 and 1PM and they would call if any delays would come up.  1:40pm rolled around and still no one from PPP and no call.  I called PPP a second time and then they told be that the technician was at another site and would be at my house within 30 min which is past the 2PM deadline. I told her that someone was supposed to be at my house no later than 1PM per their representative.  She asked me who did I talk to as it wasn't me  REALLY!  So, I cancelled the order. If Lowes & PPP are this unprofessional and unreliable would you trust them to install your water softener???

I'm sure the GM knew that this review was coming.

My mom called Hawthorne over to check on her air conditioner which had broken. They told her that even though the motor (the broken part) was covered under warranty, it would still cost $760 to replace. I knew immediately this was a huge rip off. I called and asked to speak to the manager and he told me that even though the part was covered under warranty, their supplier did not have it in stock and so they had to purchase it from another company that they did not normally do business with and charge my mom for not only the part (that should have been free) but a 35% markup as well. When I explained that I wanted to take the time to call for a second opinion because that seemed to be a ridiculous price for this service and that part should have been free, the GM got extremely defensive and told me if that's what I wanted then he's going to return the part and cancel the service. He continued to be unprofessional and claim that he wasn't getting rich off of this service call and that inflation has hit everyone hard I asked if I could just take a moment to call another company to see if their supplier had the part in stock, but he refused to wait and hung up on me.

Needless to say, I called Goettl and they not only have the part in stock and it is free under the warranty, but would do the labor for cheaper than Hawthorne.

Do Not go with this company. This is the second time that I have dealt with them and the second time that they have gotten defensive when I questioned them on their pricing. Just go with Goettl and you'll have quality help for a fair price. We will not be contacting Hawthorne ever again.

We arrived home, and noticed a leak under the kitchen sink.  I called Butter on a referral from a friend and they were able to schedule service for the very next day.  Ura did a great job from Butter Plumbing.  Arrived earlier than scheduled, and fixed problem promptly.  Very pleased.  I have to add......I have had several servicemen, cable repair, even medical response visit my house, but this is the first time Hannah did not bark!  In fact she watched Ura and even wagged her tail.  Animals are very receptive in judgement.  You have a very special employee.

I'm giving 5 stars because these guys managed to honor my home warranty request during a rough and busy time. I can see why people might give Andy and tough review; he's slightly curt BUT he knew what he was doing and talking about. Thank you 5 Star and Andy!
