Best Leak Detection in Henderson NV

I noticed a clump of hair just below the drain cover in our shower and wanted to dispose of it, but could not remove one of the screws holding the cover in place -- so I decided to have the drain cleaned professionally even though it was still draining well. I contacted six drain cleaning companies with a request for a price quote, but four of them declined to provide a quote, instead wanting me to schedule a visit for them to give me an estimate. A fifth company that has very positive reviews gave me an estimate of over $200, which I considered expensive for a simple drain cleaning. By contrast, when I phoned Discount Drain Cleaning, they gave me a quote that was $100 less, and I saw that they had a lot of positive reviews, so I scheduled a service visit.

Julian, the Discount Drain Cleaning plumber who came to our house, was friendly and efficient. He was able to remove the stuck screw with a drill, then snaked out the shower drain several times to be sure it was clear. He also wiped up the shower floor after securing the drain cover when he was finished, with the whole service visit completed within half an hour.

I would not hesitate to call Discount Drain Cleaning again whenever we next need drain cleaning or other plumbing services.

These guys came out and fixed a botched water heater installation done by the previous company in our rental.  They were sent by our property manager and also fixed a couple other items found on inspection of the unit.  Stoylan was very helpful and so was his tech Jason.  They did the job right and on time and went above and beyond.  I recommend this company now to family and friends.

I had a main line backup causing the water to seep out from under my downstairs toilet. I woke up to a quarter inch of water in the bathroom and foyer. I called Dan and he was at my place within an hour. He tried the standard rooter first, and only when that didn't work, did he offer the more expensive hydro option. The hydro did the trick and got the water flowing again. His camera and locator let me know where the roots were causing the problem. He then called some folks for me to help me with the process of repairing the line. Very reasonable prices and goes the extra mile to get you the help that you need.

Hector and Carlos both were very professional, had everything they needed and cleaned up afterwards.  I'd hire them again for any plumbing or HVAC.

I am waiting to see if my leak gets fixed before deciding on a final number of stars. I noticed water dripping from the ceiling in the downstairs bathroom and the ceiling above the toilet had a hole from water damage. They came out to evaluate and decided it was from the bathtub in the master bath above on the second floor. The tech said they would have to go in at the floor of the master closet, which is next to the tub. I was leery but I am not a plumber. He said they needed parts and had to schedule a time to return. On the second visit it was a different tech, apparently the first one was called for another job. This one said he could go in through the ceiling in the downstairs bathroom. $900 later, he had replaced a part of the pipe from the tub drain and seemed like it solved the issue. A few months later, after I had someone replace the drywall and paint, I noticed that there was a water stain in the new drywall. Called them back and the same tech came out. Replaced the tub drain, saying that was likely the issue. Seemed okay again. Fast forward another couple months, I can hear the water dripping into the ceiling again. I just called to have someone come out to check it. I had to have my mother (who lives in another state) call them since she is the homeowner in order to send someone out. They did not require this the last two times. AND they are charging me for the evaluation, which they did not do last visit. For $900 I expect the leak to be fixed. Not to mention the money I paid someone else to repair the ceiling and paint after they supposedly fixed the leak. I will have to pay to have it patched and painted again, but I want to be sure the leak is fixed first. Once this is resolved I will update my review.

If I could describe Kea Plumbing with one word, it would be Phenomenal. Franklin and his crew diagnosed the water leak issue and tediously fixed the problem. He and his crew were punctual, friendly and went way beyond my expectations. My husband and I are super excited to get our house ready to rent. We without a doubt, highly recommend Kea Plumbing Contractors!

I am writing this review because of the excellent customer service I have received from Alaskan Heating & Air Conditioning. I purchased two Maytag heat pump and air handler units from Alaskan in September and the units were installed and worked well for the rest of the air conditioning season. When cold weather came to Las Vegas, the downstairs unit was not blowing hot air. I called Alaskan on January 1st and said I needed someone to come look at it, although it was not an emergency. Carlos came out that afternoon and although he was not able to solve the problem, he set up an appointment for Matthew and Sean to come out on January 2nd. Matthew and Sean spent three hours and solved the problem. Because Alaskan emphasizes their service after the sale, there was no charge for the repair. This is what customer service is about. So the next time you look for the low price, remember that you want to allocate some value to after the sale support and service. Alaskan provides that prompt support and service.

Having issues with my 8 yr old gas water heater.  Brandon came over and gave me an estimate to replace, and he also included some useful tips that saved me over $200...I did the permit application on-line with the City of Henderson and had the inspector come the day following the installation.  Passed with flying colors!  Quality of work was outstanding, as was their patience with me watching and asking questions.  would recommend them for all plumbing needs.

Called last night because our water heater was leaking. He came by 1st thing in the morning and had it changed out in Les than an hour. Troy was a super nice guy. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a plumber.

Beware Beware Beware.

My warranty assigned a sink drainage clog issue to Vegas Drain Masters. Service man came in on time, He has a terrible breath, i had to cover my nose to speak with him.

By the time i (landlord) arrived, plumber is on his way out and told me he snaked the sink pipe but it did not fix the issue and its a major problem as seen by his camera he sent down through the pipe, he also said the pipes requires jetting to fix the issue and gave me a bill of $1675 and further told me he is giving me a discount lol.

What he doest know is, I am handy too. i acted novice so i can listen to all the BS talk withstanding his stinky breath, i am not kidding, i have to look the other way while he is speaking.

After he left, i snaked the pipe and magically water started to drain without any issues. Its been almost 3 to 4 weeks and we have zero issues, so i am damn sure snaking the pipe worked.

What this tells me, the service man (Plumber) intentionally lied and tried to take advantage of us.

Well i am cautioning you,  if you are planning to use this company for your future  plumbing problems. use them at your own risk.

On a side note, i got a quote from another plumber for jetting the pipes and it is $300 , so they tried to cheat me on pricing too.

------ as there is no way i can respond to false response to the claims made by Plumber to my original review, i am adding this additional insight as a response to his false claims ----- asked him for the video evidence and he never shared it with me. Coming to $300 Quote i will upload it shortly so you all know whom to use for future business without being taken advantage.
I am not being silly by saying this, this plumber is a fraud and liar and dishonest person. Look at the estimate he gave me, you will know. Evidence is right infront of you.
I am also going to report this to Couple of warranty companies i work with, managing my rental homes so this guy does not get business , just for his bad attitude & dishonesty. He should have gracefully accepted his mistake of trying to take advantage of me rather  he is trying to further justify his false claims & dishonesty. Once again look at the estimate he provided and you will know better.

Less than 24 hours after I called them (& I called during closed hours expecting to have to leave a message AND I think the only reason it took even as long as it did is because I had to work- they made a point of making themselves available to rescue me), my kitchen sink is unclogged and running free- YAY!!!
  I'd always heard bad things about plumbers- uncivilized manners, crack, etc. This was my first experience with professionals- I come from a do-it-yourself type of family. I was very pleasantly surprised to discover that what I'd heard and come to nervously expect was completely false stereotype in this instance.
   Jerry and Dan were friendly, polite, and completely professional. They got the job that I'd been dreading done quickly and cleanly. They were helpful and very pleasant, even showed an interest in my pets, and very kind with their pricing. Definitely putting them on my Go-To list. Thanks guys!

Billy saved the day. I had water running down the street from a leak in my main. He came out on a Saturday with almost no notice and fixed it quickly and had the water in my house back on. Really appreciate the response .

I am 69 years old man.I am a veteran and I hate businesses that take advantage of the Veteran. My water company said I might have a leak because I used a lot of water last month I was recommend to call of duty and this gentleman name David said he was the owner and I believe it was his nephew Xavier came to my house and they said that they were going to charge me $1800 for a leak so I called my neighbor and he told me they were trying to rip me off not only ripped me off but they were smoking marijuana in my yard I was Purdy angry at the situation I told him to leave or I will call the police I don't recommend this company at ALL... customer service was the worst too they don't have patience for the elderly people they don't like to explain they just want to charge and get their money terrible terrible service

Our water heater gave up one morning and leaked all over the garage. We needed help fast. Larry was great. He was installing a new one within two hours of my call. He did a great job bringing everything up to code and we are very happy.

I'm a small time landlord in the Las Vegas/Henderson area and had need of a replacement air conditioner/heater package for a property. I was constrained by time and events so the purchase was a hasty one. I went with the first company that said they could do it (Hawthorne) paying top dollar (between $7,000 - $8,000)

While I caught them in a few instances of double talk and backtracking (all in the interest of securing my business and maximizing their profits), many companies do this, you have to be vigilant lest it gets out of hand.

Point being - their AFTER SALES SERVICE is non-existent! I've been calling, reminding, complaining, urging, messaging, etc.... for the paperwork related to the permit and guarantee and have received nothing in way of results, callbacks, message returns .... nothing.

I can only imagine what kind of response I'd get if I had a critical problem with the installation or hardware! Why would I ever call these people again!

I used Butter Plumbing for the first time today.

For years, we had a contract with Yes! Plumbing.  Their technicians, whether HVAC or plumbing, were almost always tidy; they were always polite and competent.  But boy were they expensive.  

I left the country for a while.  When I returned, I went into a rental house so wasn't allowed to choose my own plumber when needed.  Now that I'm in my own house again, I needed a plumber to hook up my clothes  dryer and  test the washer.  I knew I'd need more dryer vent hose.  I called Yes but was told that they don't do that.  Guess the job just wasn't big enough for them.  So, who to call?

I looked in Solera Star and saw ads for two plumbers, Butter and Jack.  I called Butter first, because I see their trucks so often in my old neighborhood of Solera Anthem.  Maureen answered promptly and immediately made me smile.  She was confident, professional, efficient, helpful and polite.  She scheduled a plumber to come to my new house; scheduled him for 1:30 in the afternoon of the same day I called!  She contacted the plumber, Raffi, to ensure he'd have vent hose with him.

Raffi called around 11:30 and said he was running ahead of schedule.  He asked if he could come earlier.  He showed up looking professional (clean, tidy, well-groomed) and put on booties to protect my carpeting even though he never went into a carpeted room -- unlike the Salesman and the Installer from ADT; the first of whom refused to wear booties and the second of whom said I forgot mine.  Sorry and then proceeded to spend many hours in my house, on my new carpet, in his work boots.

Anyhow, Raffi determined what needed to be done and gave me an estimate.  I asked for a senior discount, so he applied that.  He did what needed to be done.  He also showed me that the movers had hooked the washer's cold water pipe to the hot water and vice versa.  He fixed that.  He ran both the washer and the dryer to ensure they worked.  He asked me where I would like the appliances placed; how far from the walls, how far apart, etc. and then single handedly moved them.  He cleaned the appliances.

When he was done, he asked what he could do for the $69 service fee.  Even though I'm in a newly constructed home, I had a concern about water in the kitchen taking too long to heat.  He and I discussed my concern and options.  Although he could have sold me either one of two products, he recommended a wait and see approach which cost me nothing.  

When I need a plumber, I will call Butter Plumbing.

If I enter into a maintenance contract like I had for many years with Yes Plumbing, one where they come out twice a year (beginning of winter, beginning of summer), it will be with Butter Plumbing.  They are every bit as good a Yes Plumbing, but cost less (who doesn't) and they aren't so big for their britches that they refuse small jobs.  

We seniors often need to hire things done that we are no longer capable of doing ourselves.  The jobs aren't big but you could make a living off of a million small jobs.  Butter seems to get that; Yes Plumbing obviously doesn't, so Butter got today's business and will get all future business; and they get a great review on Yelp; and I will recommend them when my neighbors ask if I can recommend a good plumber.

I like both Raffi and Maureen a LOT.  Great customer service.  I will  definitely be a repeat customer.

Old shower cartridge stuck badly, noway to get it out! Robert respond runaway and fixed it and replcae it within just an hour after i call him.
Excellent and professional! Highly recommend!!

took months to get a diagnosis.

misdiagnosed my leak !! wanted to charge me about $3000 to repair my skimmer which was not broken !!

after one month of begging them to have the owner come take a look and confirm skimmer leak - he finally came out and confirmed it was not the skimmer. he was rude and upset about the whole mess.

then they drained my pool to fix the leak and left it empty for an extended perido of time - which caused my entire pool plaster to crack and break off instantly upon filling the pool back up with water !!!!!!

it cost me over $8000 to repair the damage they did to my pool !!!

i asked them to make right on the problem they created.  they again were rude and told me to go fly a kite.

i am suing them and i will win. it's disgusting when companies like this take hard earned money out of consumer pockets that are honest and hard working. justice will be served.

great to do business with. personnel are A++++++++++++  if u need a plumber this is the company to use.
