I have had Mr. Goad come to our house on several occasions. He is always on time, his price is fair and I feel safe allowing him in my house. We've never had an issue with his work, he always fixes things quickly and effectively and is friendly and quiet.

Kris with The Prosper Plumber is amazing! He was very knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. I have used Kris a few times now for various things around the house, water heater replacement, new faucet in my kitchen, and general clogs. I wouldn't trust anyone else in my home!

Called this morning and they were out by 9:15am.  Within 45 minutes the job was done.  Tech was friendly, professional and thorough.  I highly recommend this company.

Ok here's why I'm writing this review. Bobby key who is the owner did a wonderful job. I called other companies and they wanted to charge me up to 200 dollars just to come on the seen. Another Company was going to make me wait til tomorrow with no hot water. So the appointed time was 11 to 2  he showed up fix the heater and did some extra work on a water hose faucet. Well my water tank is back up now The work was affordable and he worked urgently. I would definitely call him again.

They are all very professional! They are thorough and very skilled at what they do. They get the job done in a timely manner. They charge a fair price.  They are friendly and very helpful. Miguel has helped with various projects and is always very communicative, professional and reliable. He is the first person I contact if I need something fixed around the house and I've referred him to others and they've been pleased with his work as well. I recently had exemplary service from Micah's Honest Plumbing.  I was thoroughly impressed with the customer service and -- most of all -- with the quality of the work.  We had a slab leak and had already spoken with another plumber about options, but I wasn't confident I was being dealt with honestly.  I left a msg for Micah late on a Friday afternoon, and his wife immediately called us back -- from the car -- while their family was traveling on vacation! She asked questions and relayed them to Micah while he was driving, requested photos and information to help them understand the extent of our issues here, and was able to reassure us that we'd be handled as soon as they returned.  They then rented a camera to ensure that they were not bidding on this job without understanding the full scope of the issue, which is more than I can say for the other company we initially dealt with. They took care to share the camera views with us, drew diagrams to help us understand what work they would be performing, and they discussed the variables we were facing in great detail.  They performed the work immediately, keeping us informed at every stage.  Their excavators arrived the next day and were speedy and polite and so tidy! When they covered up the hole after the job was done they even spread fresh mulch so you couldn't even tell they had been there. I felt like Micah did exactly what was required at a fair and reasonable price, without padding his bill or his time with a bunch of fear-mongering extras the way the big franchise-owned plumbers often do. Truly I just felt like this small, family-owned business took excellent care of our plumbing, our property, and our budget.  I can't recommend them highly enough, and they will be my first phone call the next time I need plumbing work of any kind.  Contact them today -- you'll be glad you did!

Mr. Dee himself came out today and talk about customer service and professionalism!  He obviously runs his company with high standards and his customers appreciate it!  Great work and fair pricing. We will continue to use DAZ Plumbing for all of our plumbing needs and will recommend them to our friends and neighbors. They are top notch!

I give them two stars: one of them, out of pity for the office manager that has to argue (literally) with customers about being charged for their plumber's driving time. Goodness, that poor, bitter lady! The other star is for the fact that the plumbers fixed a teeny little leak on a sink faucet...and I got a new customer discount of 10% off of labor!  Rock on!

But wait...

The 3 non-existent stars? Unfortunately for them, it was a couple of things: a) the extra drive time charge of $80 and b) the fact that I could have gotten the cartridge that they replaced for $40, but they charged $124.40 and did not present a receipt for it. My total invoice for less than 2 hours of work was $482.15 to repair a teeny little leak on a faucet. That's what is costing them a 2-star overall review.

Nevermind the fact that I could have purchased an ENTIRE new sink for that price.

If you do business with My Local Plumber, on the day of the service, be sure to ask how far the plumbers are going to have to drive to get to your home (or business). You will be charged $159 per hour for ALL drive time, outside of the amount of time that it takes for them to repair your issue. How do I know this? Because not only was I charged for their drive time (which could have included sitting in their car eating Whataburger or talking on their phones for all I know), but I also received a message from the office manager herself, explaining that they do not have a service call fee, but they charge for drive time INSTEAD. If the plumbers are driving from downtown Dallas to McKinney to come service your repairs, you're paying $159 for their drive time. Basically, there's your service call fee.

I have a very low tolerance for companies that don't incentivize their workers to be as productive as possible and instead, make it their own customer's problem (I mean, why rush to the next job when they know they are getting paid no matter what?).

My advice to you, go with Atlas Plumbing or one of the other 400 plumbers in the DFW area to keep your cortisol levels low and remove the stress.

Y'all know that I LOVE giving positive reviews, but this is one company that just doesn't deserve it, nor do they deserve one more second of my time. Done.

I've dealt with Hard Times Plumbing multiple times and they were always honest, courteous, professional, and dependable. Eric stands behind his work and doesn't stand for shoddy repairs. Just had two gentlemen come out to clear a drain line. On the weekend, in the late afternoon. They did what was needed in a very timely manner. Most of my friends use them as well.

Winter storm disaster February 2021, North Texas. I got a quote from this business for the installation of a tankless hot water heater that I was going to provide. I had gotten other 4 other quotes in the $350-$500 range. The installation was universally stated as being a 1 hr job of switching out a tankless unit for the exact same model. $350 is more than any usual hourly rate for a plumber, but I get it, a major shortage of plumbers, and customers in need get a bit of a premium fee. I called Bill Blankenship Contracting and their office manager advised their installation fee for the water heater is currently going for $1,500. Thats $1,500 per hour (assuming an hour job. $750/hr for two hr job) to just install (not the cost of the actual unit) an item that allows suffering people to clean their bodies, dishes, and soiled clothes. If their normal rate was $1,500 per hour, then they would never be in business because no one would ever pay that for any home service. My opinion is that they are taking advantage of a Presidentially declared state of emergency by making their service insanely inflated at the expense of those that are in desperate need. I assure you their business will not be charging $1500/hr. after this initial desperation subsides. Price gouging at its' finest. Needless to say I went with another plumber this time and for future needs as well.

The scummiest of scum! Buyer beware - the below reviews are made by employees and everyone that works here are unprofessional and theifs.

We have a leak in our front yard, my husband called an irrigation specialist out to our house on Friday... the dug for awhile - said, sorry... you need a Plumber.

So I contacted Plumbing Service Repair on Saturday - made an appointment with the girl- told her about the transaction with irrigation specialists. She booked an appointment between 9-11a for Sunday. (Great!). Surprisingly, plumber calls 9a on Sunday ON THE DOT, and says - I'll be there at 10am. Plumber calls back 15 minutes later and says I can't do sprinklers. My husband explains again that the irrigation people were out the day before and it is NOT the sprinklers. Plumber says okay.

We wait, and wait... and at 11a- I call the company again. Same receptionist as Saturdays call- oh he said he can't do it

But no one called to tell us he wasn't coming?! She tells us it is our responsibility to have called them to find out why he no showed... but she'll book us another plumber to come out between 3-5p on Sunday.

Fine, ok. Just need to get this done.

As we are leaving our house (11:45a) to run errands - phone rings the 3pm plumber wants to come right now. Told him no, appointment is at 3pm.

Plumber shows up at 3pm in an unmarked van, not in uniform.. is outside our house for 20 minutes - comes to tell me he can't find the leak, he isn't a leak detector and cannot do anything but it will be $125 for him coming out. He also has no way to process a CC and starts writing down my CC number - which I immediately stopped and shredded the paper. Eventually someone calls me from company number and I pay my bill (begrudgingly) for literally no service rendered.

He tells me to call the company tomorrow and have a leak detection person come out and he can come back out to fix it - and my $125 will go towards that bill.

My husband calls today and service is refused. And he was hung up on multiple times.

This company is being reported to BBB for being complete frauds. Why actually help customers when you can charge $125 for a fifteen minute consolation and never have to fix anything.
