Best Electricians in Pennsylvania

Alex is a terrific electrician.  I found him via Yelp several years ago, when I was looking for someone who would replace knob and tube wiring in our 1920s house.  Many electricians will only do the job if the house is empty, and a lot of them knock (as I know from other people's experiences) large holes in the walls to do it.  Alex rewired our whole place in five days _with us in it_, working around all our furniture and making exactly one small hole in the plaster above a door, which he then repaired for me.  He is meticulous, patient, unflappable (even he found, rather to my alarm, some DIY wiring wood-glued together behind a light fixture in the bathroom), and exceptionally good at his job.  His rates are reasonable, he always provides a written estimate (though at this point I trust him implicitly to be fair), and has never gone over-budget.  He's also great when it comes to cooperating with other contractors.  We just had AC installed a few weeks ago, and Alex was called in to run the electrics for the new units.  He put in a long day, working cordially with a team of unfamiliar guys, and the job was, as usual, perfect.

Larry came and installed 9 outlets in our home. He also installed 1 ceiling mounted light. I highly recommend him. His pricing is fair and reasonable and he is exceptionally courteous, and conscious of timeliness and cleanliness.

We received friendly, prompt, professional, and courteous service from the owner in less than 24 hours, after he spent a full day working another job down the shore. He quickly identified the issue and fixed it for a very reasonable rate. We now have a new electrician for all our needs. Recommend very highly!

Quick and frequent communication, easy to deal with, and fair pricing.  Really appreciate them squeezing me in on short notice as well.

I was had such a dilemma: washing machine and dryer delivery was on its way and Moser Electric were very accommodating. The process was easy, the quote was reasonable and the work impeccable. I would definitely recommend this company.

I hired Fortech to rewire a doorbell that hasn't worked properly the entire time I've lived in my house (5+ years). I recently decided get it fixed because I got a doorbell camera. 2 other electricians couldn't figure out the problem and just said rewire it.
First of all Fortech was super responsive and gave me a reasonable quote over the phone before they came out. And they came out within like 2 business days of my initial inquiry. The guys that came out were very thorough and spent a long time working on the bell until they figured out the problem...& it didn't need to be rewired. Meanwhile I had received a $1200 quote from another company to rewire and ended up paying significantly less...and my doorbell works! I would definitely hire them again for future projects.

Raul helped us renovate a commercial property and was very polite. The quote was fair and him and his team completed it in a timely manner. I am excited to work with them again in the future!

Joe Addis is the best! Very knowledgeable and a great electrician! He helped us take care of the items that we were asked to address as part of a home inspection. Definitely recommend using him for any of your electrical projects!

Pellegrino is honest and extremely competent.  I had called him out as a second opinion for an electrician who recommended 2,500 dollars of work. He came out to look at a switchbox that I was concerned about, took his time examining it, and with explaining what was and wasn't an issue and that I really didn't have a problem. 2 years later- no electrical issues whatsoever. He even turned down any money for his time. There's a few times where you are just surprised at someone's professionalism. I'm disappointed that I've taken this long to write him a review and will definitely go to him for any electrical work I have.

Great company to work with! I own a small home renovation business and have had Dave and his guys out numerous times. They are professional and very organized. I always appreciated their timeliness, being on the job when they said they will. Certainly a great contractor at a fair price!

Excellent work by Brian and Jake! They arrived on time, were quick, neat, friendly and professional. They installed a ceiling fan with a light where no fixture existed before and a new outlet to hide an electrical cord to an appliance. The fee was reasonable, the invoice was issued online and paid immediately through PayPal. I will definitely hire them again and recommend their services to others.  Thanks, guys!

Absolutely hands down the best electricians you could ask for.  Fair pricing, great work ethic, overall, really great guys.  They took care of restoring the electricity in my garage and I could not be happier!  I will absolutely call on them for all my electrical needs.  They are the best!  If you are looking for qualified, professional electricians that know their stuff, look no further.  You will not be disappointed!

Promp reply to request. Showed up same day for project assessment and scheduled work within one week. Crew was professional and was committed to finishing the project in one day, which included a full panel upgrade, addition of two more circuits and underground wiring in the back yard (AND repair of a botched doorbell wiring by another local electrician).  Couldn't be more pleased.

Would give no stars if I could.

Asked us to prepay $1,000 for a simple problem. I can't believe how badly these people take advantage. It's so unethical. Rude, unfriendly, and bad business practices. Edited to add that they just called me back from a blocked number being super shady and rude immediately after i posted this review ! The guy refused to tell me his name but still wanted to come out. What? Stay away from this company.

Edit: after this review was posted I've been called 5x! Now they are harassing me. Google this company - you'll see a CBS expose about their unethical business practices.

Only use in emergency! - very professional establishment but cost was extremely high for basic service
