Best Electricians in Pennsylvania

Electrical Solutions Electrician
Steve has done a number of projects at my house: from electrical repairs, recessed lighting installation, and the installation of a backup generator for when the power goes out.  Electrical Solutions is one of the best contractors I've ever worked with.  They always return my calls and they do what they say they are going to do.  The work is top-notch and the prices are very reasonable.

Stapleford Electric Electrician
I asked Mike to give me a quote for installing three ceiling fans, as well as a few other little things. During the walk-through, Mike also recommended a couple of projects to me. He is extremely knowledgeable, and his prices are extremely reasonable. He arrived on time, with his team. They all were professional, cleaned up after themselves, kept me apprised of their progress and any questions for me, and left in a timely manner. I will definitely use Mike and his team for my electrical needs in the future. Highly recommended.

HIGGINS ELECTRIC -- DREAM TEAM TURNED IT AROUND. Must read!

New to the Media area, just closed on a condo and 1 day later ...
ELECTRIC ISSUES!
With specific electric outage switch issues throughout the new (but dated) place (ie kitchen, dining room and bedrooms).
I thought I was being Punk'd - I haven't even unpacked!

BASED ON A REFERRAL
Called HIGGINS ELECTRIC - I spoke to Theresa (so nice and solution-oriented), who put me at ease and ultimately dispatched some of their best electricians, Krista and Bob!

Krista and Bob both came (after confirming every step of the way via text or call/ their arrival, next steps etc)... masked, helpful, kind, friendly- PROFESSIONAL -- straight to the point.  Like CSI-Where's this issue!? What did you experience, etc They both went to their detective work. Very thorough, asking questions and checking outlets and overhead wiring, panels, etc.

THE SOLVE/RESOLUTION
HIGGINS ELECTRIC TEAM soon identified a a random switch outlet in the condo that was rigged to control all those rooms (who knew?)
HIGGINS ELECTRIC TEAM soon updated my outdated electric wiring: replacing my kitchen ballast and switch; swapped out my dining room fixture; and updated the master bed room light/ceiling fan with LED/remote control fixture!

THE SWEET SPOT
From being so very upset, frustrated and despondent about the electricity in my 1st new place, I was immediately transformed  to a place of THANKS AND APPRECIATION above and beyond! and loving the fabulous and functional updates!

HIGGINS ELECTRIC TEAM ROCKS! I recently learned this is a family owned business operating in The area over 75 years - and still going strong! you will see why... They deliver! they are knowledgeable! they are Professional and fair!

Street Brothers Electric Electrician
I had a problem with two outside circuits.  I set up a time for service   over the phone. Service man was prompt and curteous.   Problem was repaired in an hour.  I would definitely use Street Brothers again for any electrical need.

All Affordable Repairs And Construction Electrician
Since I have owned my home, it has been difficult to find a professional contractor who can do a quality job for a reasonable price. For the last few months Mike has done numerous jobs around my home - Roofing, Drywall, Painting, Deck Install. His prices are fair, and he will get the job done. Mike is pleasant to deal with, and I would recommend him to anyone who has been holding off on upgrades or repairs to their home.

Electrical Plus Electrician
My experience with electrical plus has been fairly APPALLING.

After spending almost $2,000 to get our 35 year old electrical panel replaced, they did not attach the ground wire to the panel for the whole house. I had to hire another master electrician to come spur-of-the-moment during a kitchen remodel, he discovered this problem and showed it to me, I took pictures, and then he fixed it while fixing other things. Electrical Plus, claims it's a 2-second fix. That's nice, but it has nothing to do with taking responsibility for incomplete work that could have allowed my young children to be electrocuted because the whole house wasn't grounded. No matter what they say, incomplete work is incomplete work. When I called, and emailed, starting the day I found this out, I got no responses. I had to make a statement that I would report them to the state for incomplete work before I finally got a response. I also paid $200 for an inspection, that they didn't bother to follow up on and make sure it happened. They like to say it's not their fault because they can't control the inspectors, which has nothing to do with follow-up. Plain common courtesy customer service. I ran client service departments for 20 years. I know exactly what good customer service looks like. On top of all that, the person who responded from electrical plus to my emails, argued with me through 13 emails without ever taking responsibility, and only offered back $50 out of the $2000 for the inconvenience and said he did not believe me that the wire wasn't grounded in the first place. I don't appreciate being called a liar. As I repeatedly said, the inspection didn't happen until I followed up myself, after the master electrician fixed electrical plus's mistake. They would not have passed the inspection, had I not paid more money on top of the total to electrical plus for someone else to fix their mistake.

I only asked for 10% back. It's not an inconvenience to my family if someone gets electrocuted, especially a small child! Here is a sample of the kind of customer service electrical plus offers with their work. Buyer beware!

Hooking up the ground wire takes 2 seconds and I don't believe that we had not hooked it up.  If we had failed the inspection, we would have come back to fix it for free.

So, I think that 10% back is unreasonable.  I am only offering the $50 for the inconvenience factor.

Brandon Electric Inc Electrician
Jeff returned my calls in a timely manner and sent someone out to review what started as a replacement for my bathroom exhaust fan. I wanted an upgrade and was told they needed to run another line. Since we had a lot of lines running out of our circuit box I had his company do a full house assessment. We did need a larger box and some of the outlets needed replacing. Although the price for all the work, including the installation of the new fan, was more than we had bargained for, Jeff worked with us to help make it affordable. Five guys came out to do all the work. They were polite, informed us what was happening every step of the way, and cleaned up afterward. The bonus was, because they left the basement door open, my cat got out. Not once but twice. They helped us find her and were great with her :-) I highly recommend them.

Crosscut Construction 215 Electrician
I owned my home for several years and had no ceiling light in my living room. My home was over 100 years old, so it was originally gas lighting. Manny placed 6 recessed lights in my living room ceiling and included a dimmer switch! Then he installed baseboard electric heaters in every room including my living room. He did an excellent job and I was very happy.

Wes Carver Electric Electrician
I am so upset with this company . I had a come out with an issue with lights in my basement. None of them work .  I am almost retired and live alone . He first wanted to charge me $300 to figure out the issue .  He ended up telling me to replace all 15 light bulbs ( without showing me how ) that apparently all burned out at once . I was able to replace one but the fixture itself seems loose so my one bulb did not work. I am back to finding someone will help that won't rip me off .  I guess they want the big jobs and not helping a neighbor . That guy knew he was dumping it back in my lap and I would have to find some one else .  I also asked for a quote on replacing a fluorescent fixture and he gave me this that was totally out of line . He knew it. They don't want my business.

Frater's Electric Electrician
Lost power due to main fuse breaker rotting out from rust. Fraters were quickly round and replaced my panel restoring power I even had them wire in my generator to be ready for the next power outage and did not have to wait long for a 5 day power outage last year. My only problem was keeping the generator feed with gas so I've converted it to propane and even benefit from not having to worry about stale gas.
It's nice to know you have safe up to code work done by the professional

George Marko Electrical Contractor Electrician
I used Mr.Marko to install an emergency cut off switch. I thought he was good until it came time for the inspector to come when he did he realized Mr.Marko never grounded the wire, he taped the electric line to the Gas line and left cardboard in the box that he installed. Speaking to the inspector he informed me that the emergency cut off should be grounded it could catch fire. He informed me he has seen some electrians do so for a call them back and recharge you to ground the wire which is a ripp off to customers they are sipposed ro guarantee their work. I contacted Mr.Marko and he informed me he can fix everything for a fee I explained why I shouldn't have to pay for the work I just paid for I also said im willing to compensate for gas but I don't think it's fair I repay for work I just paid for. He them stopped responding. I texted him and called him multiple times to correct this situation and has he has not respond. I unfortunately would not recommend him to anyone this is not how you treat people, or conduct business. He's ultimately putting people lives at risk for a few dollars.

Light Source Electric Electrician
I haven't had a need for an electrical contractor yet but when I do I will Call Light Source. I just moved into my home in Somerdale, NJ and today, April 13, 2020, I get a ring at my door. A guy tells me that a branch had fallen from a tree and my phone wire had fallen. He then gets a ladder from his truck and secures the wire back to the house. I offered compensation for his efforts but he refused. Just goes to remind us all that there are good people everywhere. Thank you Light Source for hiring people with character.

RMV Electric Electrician
RMV is everything you want and expect when hiring a contractor. Good old fashion values-honest, professional yet personable, they take pride in their work, they respect your home, and they don't take advantage of you in their pricing. Trevor (Rich's son) and Anthony were here today to install lighting in 4 rooms. They took their time in understanding what we wanted. Another very impressive quality was they picked up and swept up after themselves- you would never had known they were here...other than our amazing lighting.  Give them a call-you won't be sorry!
