Best Electricians in Pennsylvania

This is an exceptional company. They are my only go to company for electrical work. They've done work at my home 3 times now and I've even had them to my mother's house to install outside lights. They always arrive on time, are professional and the cost is very reasonable. When I first moved into the house, I had a another electrical company come in to replace 3 receptacles and the costs was pretty steep. I did not know crazy that cost was until I had electrical solutions in to do work and was so surprised at how much more reasonable they are. I won't even call any other company now for electrical work.

Mike and his crew are wonderful to work with for electrical projects.  A nicer man you will never meet.  No job truly is not to small for Mike.

ELECTRIC ISSUES!
With specific electric outage switch issues throughout the new (but dated) place (ie kitchen, dining room and bedrooms).
I thought I was being Punk'd - I haven't even unpacked!

BASED ON A REFERRAL
Called HIGGINS ELECTRIC - I spoke to Theresa (so nice and solution-oriented), who put me at ease and ultimately dispatched some of their best electricians, Krista and Bob!

Krista and Bob both came (after confirming every step of the way via text or call/ their arrival, next steps etc)... masked, helpful, kind, friendly- PROFESSIONAL -- straight to the point.  Like CSI-Where's this issue!? What did you experience, etc They both went to their detective work. Very thorough, asking questions and checking outlets and overhead wiring, panels, etc.

THE SOLVE/RESOLUTION
HIGGINS ELECTRIC TEAM soon identified a a random switch outlet in the condo that was rigged to control all those rooms (who knew?)
HIGGINS ELECTRIC TEAM soon updated my outdated electric wiring: replacing my kitchen ballast and switch; swapped out my dining room fixture; and updated the master bed room light/ceiling fan with LED/remote control fixture!

THE SWEET SPOT
From being so very upset, frustrated and despondent about the electricity in my 1st new place, I was immediately transformed  to a place of THANKS AND APPRECIATION above and beyond! and loving the fabulous and functional updates!

I had a problem with two outside circuits.  I set up a time for service   over the phone. Service man was prompt and curteous.   Problem was repaired in an hour.  I would definitely use Street Brothers again for any electrical need.

I took a chance with Yelp to find a contractor after the four referred by friends couldn't come to our works for at least 3 months. We usually reserve this kind of work for people we know or recommended by people we trust. So, I was a little skeptical about how it would turn out.

Michael definitely delivered. He showed up the next day to give a quote, sent me a quote a couple of days later, and then started the job two weeks from my initial inquiry. So the first part of this review is that he showed up in a timely manner, which was something 4 other people failed to do.

He worked on our basement drywall after we had a flood. He replaced the bottom half of what was cut out, put in trim, and painted. He also built us a wall split up the giant space. It all turned out really well and I couldn't be more happy with it.

My only complaint, but not enough to lower my stars, was that due to our basement set up, all the spackling sanding ended up on our first floor (there's no door down to the basement). It was everywhere. If you'll have this same issue, I'd recommend putting up some sort of plastic barrier.

If you need drywall repair, give Michael a call! He also accepts Venmo, which was a plus for us.

Finally and electrician that ticks all the boxes we will use going forward.  We had a small electrical outlet issue and needed a new light hung in the dining room.  Scheduling process was easy and friendly, reminders and notifications were on par with the latest technology features and our electrician Tom showed up on time.  He was professional and took the COVID crisis seriously wearing a mask and maintaining appropriate social distance.  The pricing at the end of the job was fair and we were easily able to pay using a credit card.  Will certainly use again.

Brandon electric provides GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Along with experienced professionals. The electrician and assistant were speedy, clean and respectful. I was contacted immediately by email and phone to  set up a  time for Mike to come and evaluate the jobs. Mike arrived promptly, provided a written  quote. I accepted and my work was scheduled. New panel installed, troubleshot some receptacles and fixed them, checked two overhead light fixtures and replaced the photocell on my outdoor lamp post.Overhead light fixtures need  to be replaced and rewired, Carlos   provided me with a written quote and told me to call as soon as I purchase new fixtures.  Carlos was great, as was his assistant . I will definitely use them again and will recommend to family and friends.

I owned my home for several years and had no ceiling light in my living room. My home was over 100 years old, so it was originally gas lighting. Manny placed 6 recessed lights in my living room ceiling and included a dimmer switch! Then he installed baseboard electric heaters in every room including my living room. He did an excellent job and I was very happy.

I am so glad I chose Wes Carver Electric.  We just bought our first home in Horsham and  minutes after the settlement, our basement and living room lights went out.  Seems to have been an issue with the circuits.  We were referred to Wes Carver Electric by our realtor.  They were able to get someone out quickly on a tight schedule.  John came to our house right on the clock and fixed our issues.  He found the problem and was able to fix the issue on the spot.  He was very professional and had excellent bedside manner.
Also, Michelle, who answered the phone to schedule us, was very polite and was a delight to talk to.  I would recommend to anyone looking for a great electrician!

Disorganized, condescending, poor workmanship and overpriced.

First I had explained the job to be done to the person on the phone when I made an appt.   On the appointment day  I had to call the office to see if they were coming as scheduled because they were 25 minutes late.  Second the electricians had no idea what they were there to do so they came unprepared for the job and had to run back to their shop for supplies &  they charged me for travel time to and from my home to go get  supplies they should have had with them.

When discussing the location of an exterior light I was concerned about where it was to be placed and was told it's okay Hun it will work.  I then was on my out to pick up an additional light  and it was suggested by the electrician that if I got the coffee he would get the Baileys and we could make our own drinks.  Seriously.

Third, the bill received was unbelievably high for the work completed and I expressed to the company that it seemed too high but received no response, although they cashed my check.

Unfortunately, lastly it wasn't until after I paid the bill that when one light installed was checked they had left the wires hanging outside the housing on an exterior light and never put in a weather seal.

Don't waste your time or money calling these guys.

George Marko is fantastic. Incredibly knowledgeable, fair, responsive, easy to work with. Feel lucky to have connected with him.

They sent a young man who did carpentry work to open up the opening and another who did electrical. My LG wall unit combo was installed beautifully! Nice work!

Cory has been back multiple times to do more work for us and he continues to be affordable, knowledgeable, kind and quick.

We recently had Rich and his crew install outdoor lighting for us. Their price was reasonable and they completed the work as promised. Initially, we had a problem with the lights not working properly. They immediately followed up and they thought it might be the transformer that was overloaded but they wanted to be absolutely sure before incurring the expense of a new transformer. The crew came to the house several times and by process of elimination ultimately determined that it was a transformer issue. This is one of the few contractors we have had who diligently followed up until the issue was resolved. Very professional and courteous. We will always call RMV for our electrical needs.
